Chuck-T and Trent? kept their contest for the big prize classy right up to the end... Excellent performance by both men...
Always enjoy seeing Ricochet pick up a hard fought victory... And the FRAY was tons of fun... Hero put on an awesome show, but I'm thinking Galloway would have won of he had received a later start in the match...
My favorite moment was definitely watching Gargano get all possessive over his decommissioned title belt... Priceless!
Another excellent show... Very entertaining!

Pariah - I like crazy Johnny. I have no idea where I'm going with this. I'll see where the dice take me. And if you thought Chris Hero put on an awesome show at the last event, you ain't seen nuthin... 50 Lancelot Bravado def. Zack Sabre JrZSJ’s weekend ended on a disappointing note with an unexpected loss to Bravado. Zack was not able to overcome Lancelot’s size and power advantage. Sabre was never really able to get his own offense going in the midst of taking a lot of punishment. Front and back clotheslines by Lance were enough to put down Zack for the three count. Lenny Leonard pointed out, that for the second night in a row, SoCal Val was sitting at ringside. Tonight, joining her at ringside, was Larry Dallas. Timothy Thatcher def. Biff BusickThese two rugged grapplers squared off for what was expected to be an epic struggle. It was not to be so as Thatcher ended it quickly, submitting Busick with a Rocking Chair Surfboard. SoCal Val joined Lenny Leonard in the ring. A giddy Larry Dallas accompanied her. Val explained that she wanted to get back into managing and that she wanted to do it here in EVOLVE. The Brooklyn crowd approved. Lenny then asked her: “What’s this creep doing here with you?”Val told Lenny to be nice and stated that Larry and her were working together to bring some new talent into EVOLVE. Lenny warned her about Larry’s reputation but Val only giggled and thanked Lenny for his concern but said it wasn’t necessary: Larry was being a complete gentleman. Larry looked like he wanted to talk but Lenny cut him off and threw to a highlight package of Johnny Gargano. Harlem Bravado def. Johnny GarganoBefore the match, Gargano insisted on being announced as the Open The Freedom Gate Champion and that this was going to be a title defense. With resignation, Lenny Leonard humored him. As was to be expected, Gargano had little trouble with Harlem, which made his actions even more uncalled for. When Bravado was able to force a rope break to get out of the Gargano Escape, Johnny indignantly tossed him between the ropes and to the floor. Gargano, with some deliberation, picked up a chair and smashed it across Harlem’s back, drawing an immediate disqualification. Johnny grabbed his belt and unceremoniously departed. Gabe's Book It Cam: Rich Swann and AR Fox were on camera. Gabe: “We’re just waiting on Ricochet so we can get a few words about tonight’s main event.”Ricochet arrived and looked at Fox. Ricochet: “What’s this guy doing here?”Rich: “I told you, man. He’s teaming with us tonight against the Premiere Athletes.”Ricochet: “I don’t want to tag with him .”Fox: “What’s your problem?”Ricochet: “Uh, uh. He’s reckless. His stupid moves are going to get someone hurt. And there’s no way I’m gonna let that happen to me.”Ricochet walked away. Rich: “Aw, come on. Let’s talk about this…”Swann followed after him, leaving Fox in front of the camera alone, shaking his head. Drew Galloway def. Drew GulakA lackluster match that saw Gulak scrambling to stay out of Galloway’s grasp. Once the big Scot got his hands on Gulak it was the beginning of the end. Gulak twice kicked out after a Double Arm DDT but three in a row was too much to ask. Lenny Leonard announced that EVOLVE would be introducing a new concept for the coming year that he thinks the fans will really enjoy. He couldn’t divulge details yet but stated that next month, during the next EVOLVE weekend in Florida, everything would be revealed. Chris Hero def. Chuck TaylorChris Hero decimated the EVOLVE Champion in this non-title bout. Taylor got in limited offense while Hero unloaded his full arsenal on the champion. To his credit, Chucky T did not go down easy. Hero made numerous pin attempts before a rolling elbow put Taylor’s lights out. Afterward, Chris picked up the EVOLVE belt and considered it a moment, likely remembering when he held it, then draped it over Taylor’s prone form. No stronger argument could be made for Hero getting the number one ranking after this weekend’s events. Inner City Machine Guns & AR Fox def. Premier Athlete Brand w/Su YungBoth teams had internal turmoil coming into this match but Su Yung led a seemingly unified PAB to the ring. Conversely, there was tension with the ICMG team, in particular between Ricochet and Fox. This main event was anticlimactic as Caleb Konley suffered each opposing man’s finisher one after another. Anthony Nese and Trent Barreta never saw action. Fox scored the pinfall after Lo Mein Pain. Su Yung complained to the referee and Ricochet complained to Fox. Rich Swann tried to mediate but Ricochet left his partners in the ring, apparently not appreciating someone stealing his glory. EVOLVE TOP 10Champion - Chuck Taylor - Chris Hero
- Johnny Gargano
- Lancelot Bravado
- Ricochet
- Caleb Konley
- Drew Galloway
- Drew Gulak
- Timothy Thatcher
- AR Fox
- Anthony Nese

PAB appeared to have set aside their differences... But, how will Nese and Barreta react to Konley's horrible performance in the main event? Hopefully, Ricochet will mend fences with his own partner because ICMGs is a team that would be missed...
Hero was absolutely stellar once again and I'm looking forward to him getting a crack at the big prize... Based on recent events, Chuck-T should be nervous...
Happy to see Galloway earn an impressive victory... And The Whole Shebang was as entertaining as ever... Gotta point out that the match header states that Gargano def. Harlem... But, based on the match summary, it seems that Harlem was awarded a DQ decision...
Surprised at how little difficulty Lancelot Bravado had putting away ZSJ... A one sided encounter like that simply begs for a rematch...
Excellent stuff!

I had some difficulty just trying to make it seem like there was something going on worth seeing. Dice killed me this time out. Hero has definitely earned a title shot but Taylor has proved be worthy champion so hopefully the next outing will be more competitive. Thanks for the comments!

51 Lenny Leonard opened the show by introducing SoCal Val to the ring. She said she was about to reveal her first client and that the fans better get ready to thank her for bringing him to EVOLVE. Roderick Strong came out to a great response from the crowd. Following on his heels was Larry Dallas, who seemed over the moon. Val said that this was just the beginning, then asked who on the EVOLVE roster was up for being Strong’s first opponent. Another great pop from the crowd as Biff Busick came through the curtain. Roderick Strong w/Larry Dallas def. Biff BusickAs the match got under way, Val joined Lenny on commentary. The early moments of the match were nip and tuck but it didn’t take Roderick long to strike with a Sick Kick. Biff barely kicked out of the pin attempt. Busick withstood a great deal of punishment and was able to get some footing. However, Strong would not be denied in his debut and got the pinfall with Death by Roderick. Drew Galloway def. Anthony Nese w/Su YungThe opening of this match saw a power struggle that Nese won with a Deadlift German Suplex and a failed pin attempt. Overconfident, Tony then went for a 450 Splash but Drew rolled out of the way. Galloway then tried to end it quick with an Ego Trip but Nese kicked out. Ruthlessly, Drew brutalized Nese at ringside, leaving the Premiere Athlete on the concrete to be counted out of the ring. Lenny Leonard mentioned that winning in that fashion could negatively impact Galloway’s ranking in the top ten. Lenny Leonard announced, that in the coming year, EVOLVE would be holding a team-based competition called Trios Warfare. He promised more details would be divulged on EVOLVE 52. Zack Sabre Jr drew with Trent Barreta w/Su YungSabre had a strong start but was unable to keep Trent in the center of the ring to get the win. Barreta came back with velocity-charged strikes. A non-stop barrage of high-flying offense set ZSJ up for Trent?’s Cradle Belly-To-Back Driver. Zack barely avoided defeat with a last ditch kick out. Barreta missed a dive from the top rope, putting Sabre back in the driver’s seat. Trent constantly retreated to the floor whenever Zack would gain momentum. The bell rang without a winner as the twenty minute time-limit expired. Gabe's Book It Cam: Chuck Taylor - “Seems like everyone’s always counting old Chucky-T out. ‘There’s no way Chuck will win the EVOLVE title’. Well, looking what I’m holding right here. Then I beat Drew Galloway. Have you seen that guy? He’s a beast! Now, Chris Hero puts together a few impressive wins and everyone’s writing me off again. Well, guess what EVOLVE fans? I’m going to prove you wrong. Again. But will you learn? No, you’ll be stupid for as long as I’m champion. Which is going to be forever, baby!!!” Ricochet def. Caleb Konley w/Su YungThe pace of this match was brisk. Konley took it to Ricochet and the Future of Flight had to powder. Caleb went out onto the floor after his adversary and paid for it. Ricochet lit him up and rolled him back into the ring. Climbing to the top rope, Ricochet stunned the crowd with his 630 Senton, landing flush on Konley. Su Yung was helpless to assist her man as the ref counted three. Ricochet was pumped, having struck a decisive blow against the rival PAB. Timothy Thatcher def. Johnny GarganoGargano came to the ring once again sporting the purloined DGUSA Open The Freedom Gate Championship belt. Lenny Leonard rhetorically asked if anyone had informed Johnny that the title had been retired months ago. Gargano got in Thatcher’s face with the belt asking him if he thought he had earned a title shot. The reserved Thatcher didn’t respond, which got a little bit of a rise out of Gargano. At the bell, Johnny blitzed Timothy, stunning him with a Lawn Dart Spear and dumping him out to the floor. Thatcher got fired up and began laying into Gargano with powerful European Uppercuts, knocking him all around the venue. Gargano took the easy way out, clobbering Thatcher with the belt, then stumbled away, bewildered, as the referee awarded the match to Thatcher by disqualification. EVOLVE CHAMPIONSHIPChris Hero def. Chuck Taylor(c)EVOLVE audiences are often on the fence about supporting Hero but they were 100% behind him for this match. Chris tried catching Taylor off guard by opening with a Mafia Kick but Chuck dodged then hit a springboard moonsault that nearly pinned Hero. Chuck immediately followed with an Awful Waffle but Hero got a shoulder up as the crowd breathed a sigh of relief. Chris had to weather the storm but put together a comeback that saw a near fall take place after a Cravate Buster. Hero then cycled through his patented striking arsenal culminating in a Deathblow that KO’d Taylor and a new EVOLVE Champion was crowned!

Superb victory for the NEW Evolve Champion... Chris Hero! Loving his Gargano remains dedicated to his defunct title... Naysayers take note... The Whole Shebang is on a mission! To restore the DGUSA Championship to its proper place in the spotlight... Good times! Very cool to see Roddy Strong emerge triumphant in his debut... And the match between Barreta and ZSJ was electrifying... Great stuff, as always!

I thought Nese had a good showing, but Drew Galloway winning was good stuff and it'll be interesting to see where he goes from that count out outcome. I love the DGUSA OFG storyline and Gargano, it's a very cool angle you've got going. It's good seeing Chris Hero taking the strap from Chuck Taylor, another fun show my friend...

Crimson Cross, PariahI too like seeing Chris Hero in the top spot. I never expected Chuck Taylor to win the strap let alone keep it for 6+ months. A decent run for Chucky-T. I'm having fun with crazy-Johnny and the defunct Freedom Gate title. I don't do a lot of solid planning ahead for this fed so I have no idea where this Gargano story is going. EVOLVE 52 will be posted soon and Johnny will be in a feature match that could be interesting. Thanks for reading and commenting guys!

52 Lenny Leonard introduced new EVOLVE Champion Chris Hero. Hero got a good reaction from the crowd. He told Lenny that he thought the EVOLVE Championship was an important title and that he was proud to be champion. Lenny said that the night’s opening match was scheduled to be Hero versus Zack Sabre Jr. He then asked if there was any chance that it would now be for the EVOLVE title. Chris shook his head, declining. This rubbed the crowd the wrong way. Chris Hero def. Zack Sabre JrHero easily overpowered Sabre because of the size differential. A bevy of elbows saw ZSJ reeling. Zack caught Hero in a Cross Armbreaker. Hero escaped but Zack maintained the momentum, getting near falls with a Sabre Driver and a rolling prawn hold. Chris jumped back ahead and used the Deathblow to earn the victory. Chuck Taylor def. Timothy ThatcherThe crowd got on Taylor about losing the EVOLVE Championship and he threatened to leave. He used this ploy to try and blindside Thatcher with a clothesline but Timothy put his arms up and blocked it. Chuck’s painful reaction got a good laugh from the fans. Thatcher stretched Taylor a bit but Chucky T wiped him out with a somersault suicide dive. An Awful Waffle finished Thatcher off and Chuck unsuccessfully tried rubbing it in the face of the fans. Roderick Strong w/SoCal Val def. Trent Barreta w/Su YungBefore the match, Val told Larry Dallas that she ‘has this one’ and tells him to go sit with Lenny. Once at the announce position, Larry is told by an annoyed Lenny that there is no way was going to be given a microphone. Su and Val exchanged catty remarks across the ring as their men wrestled. Trent was in control for most of this match, striking with his aerial offense. Strong got in a couple of backbreakers but the rest was all Barreta until the end. Trent went to the top rope but Roderick hopped up and sent him crashing back down to the canvas. Strong followed with a Sick Kick and the pin was elementary. Val clapped and nodded confidently as if the result went exactly as planned. Lenny Leonard returned to the ring for a big announcement: “We’ll back here in Florida for the New Year debuting a special format that will take us into the Summer and beyond. We are calling it Trios Warfare and it’s like nothing you’ve seen before. Teams of three will compete in singles, tag team, and trios matches. But rather than scoring points, the losing member of a team, if defeated by either pinfall or submission, is eliminated from the competition. The last team with members remaining will win Trios Warfare, the prize being EVOLVE title matches determined by how many on the team are left. The locker room has been notified of this contest and have been instructed to form teams if they wish to participate. We’re off in December but stay tuned to WWN Live as teams will be announced throughout the month leading to our triple shot back here in January.”Drew Galloway def. Johnny GarganoTheir was a buzz of anticipation for this match. Gargano once again came to the ring with the retired DGUSA Open The Freedom Gate belt, displaying it as if he were the king of the world. When he flashed it in front of Galloway’s face, Drew just shook his head. The bell rang and Galloway proceeded to run roughshod over Gargano. Facing a relentless onslaught, Johnny narrowly escaped defeat on multiple occasions but a Double Arm DDT eventually caught him. As Drew got out of the ring to leave, a battered Gargano told his opponent that this wasn’t over yet and that DGUSA title matches are fought best two-out-of-three falls. Galloway's face scrunched up, wondering if he had heard that right. At first Drew waved off Johnny’s attempt to continue the match but Gargano called him a coward which rankled the Scotsman. Seeing as both men were in agreement, the ref called for the bell to start the second fall. Drew resumed his beatdown of Gargano but Johnny slyly avoided a jump from the top rope and soon had Galloway in the Gargano Escape. Just as it looked like Drew might tap, he managed to reach the ropes to break the hold. Johnny chopped his opponent down to size and keep him off his feet, getting a near fall with a cross body from the top rope. Gargano kept the pressure on but Drew hooked him attempting an enzuigiri and obliterated him with a powerbomb to take the second fall. Johnny rolled out of the ring and grabbed his belt and got on the microphone again. “No.. no. This wasn’t for the belt. This wasn’t a sanctioned match.” As Gargano left ringside, Drew could be heard saying - “You’re a sad, little man, Johnny Gargano.”OPEN THE UNITED GATE CHAMPIONSHIPPremiere Athlete Brand w/Su Yung def. Inner City Machine GunsThis was a rematch from EVOLVE 48 when the match between these two rival teams was thrown out. Right out of the gate, Anthony Nese nearly pinned Rich Swann after a brutal looking reverse huracanrana. The PAB put Rich through the ringer, racking up pin attempts but Swann kept kicking out. The frequent tags between Nese and Caleb Konley effectively stranded Swann in their corner, unable to tag in Ricochet. Ultimately Swann succumbed and was pinned by Caleb. Out of frustration, Ricochet grabbed a chair and took it to the PAB. Nese was knocked through the ropes and Ricochet ended up injuring Konley. Lenny Leonard indicated that Ricochet would likely have to answer for the attack once EVOLVE officials reviewed it. EVOLVE TOP 10Champion - Chris Hero - Roderick Strong
- Drew Galloway
- Chuck Taylor
- Ricochet
- Zack Sabre Jr
- Trent Barreta
- Timothy Thatcher
- Johnny Gargano
- Caleb Konley
- Anthony Nese

I really liked the opening segment and match where Hero declined his match versus ZSJ being for the belt, plus Hero winning the match was a good cap to that part of the show. I also liked the wins by PAB and Drew Galloway, plus the Gargano story is still fun stuff...
