Did Andre's own inner turmoil result in his own downfall? His disregard for the fans and his own appearance speak volumes... Acting as a prelude to a much bigger story that has yet to unfold... Now that he has been denied ultimate victory (to make matters worse, by the same man that stole it from him once before)... What comes next?

WOW! That was a stunning upset. Snake-eyes for the Giant. I don't even want to guess the next match. Will we have a two time champion? Only the die know for sure.

Funny thing is, I don't view this as an upset, Inoki for me has beaten Andre and even Lou Thesz, he is going home the winner, just I like predicted way back when

Wow I did not see snake eyes biting Andre again. Awesome win for Antonio Inoki and now he awaits the Mascaras versus Brody winner. Of the three left I am picking Inoki to win just on momentum. Should be a fun final two matches.

Mil Mascaras (3) v Bruiser Brody (15)
With Andre the Giant out in shocking fashion, suddenly the tournament was up for grabs. Power and brutality v. speed and agility was featured in the second semi-final match-up. Brody and Mascaras trade the momentum back and forth for a long time without an advantage. Mascaras takes flight with a dive onto Brody at ringside rocking the fans. Back in the ring, Mascaras locks on a bow and arrow but Brody powers free (R7/P2). Mascaras scores with a CROSSBODY ATTACK for a one count (R9/P3). A slingshot plancha a few moves later leads to another one count (R8/P4). Mascaras catches Brody with a running slingshot in the corner and then mounts the buckles for a FLYING BODYPRESS. 1, 2, kick out (R9/P6). Mascaras climbs again for a second FLYING BODYPRESS but again Brody gets out of the cover again (R8/P7). Mascaras goes to the top again but this time Brody pulls the referee into his opponents path and the official is down and out. Mascaras with a FLYING BODYPRESS. No referee! Mascaras keeps coming with another attack off the top of the corner but Brody counters with a boot to the face. Brody with a powerbomb and covers. No referee. Brody attacks with a running leg drop and piledriver. Mascaras is able to avoid a shoulder tackles and hits a deep arm drag. A new referee is in charge as Mascaras downs Brody with a CROSSBODY ATTACK. 1, 2, ΒΎ count (R9/P8). Mascaras connects with a deathjump smash and follows up with a CROSSBODY ATTACK. Mil Mascaras is the other finalist (R7/P9).

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who took more than a few minutes out of the day to follow along with the tournament this year. It is a long event to play out and the feedback from my fellow promoters is a great source of motivation to carry on with this event each year. I would also like to say a special thanks to TOM who had the idea all those years ago for a fast paced dice based wrestling game that continues to entertain us today. GWF/LOW is grass roots and that is one of the things thanks makes this game awesome. Thanks Tom and thank you to everyone he makes this board a positive experience for those who post.

This has simply been a thoroughly entertaining tournament to follow, from start to finish... Great job bookerbill! Really hoping some semblance of these great stories continue in your PWA Reboot... My predictions since the outset have been almost entirely off the mark, so I will make no attempt to pick a winner in the final... Either competitor is deserving of the ultimate triumph... Gonna sit back and enjoy the final confrontation between Antonio Inoki and Mil Mascaras... Thank you so much for playing this out and posting it for all to enjoy... Excellent work!

Well there goes both of my top picks. This years tournament has been amazing. I would like to see Inoki become the first two time winner. Mind you the finals could go either way. Keep up the great work bookerbill

Awesome tournament! The semifinal matches certainly lived up to expectations. I predicted an Inoki/Mascaras final, and I'm sticking with Mascaras taking the whole thing. And fortunately, I don't think this match will end in DQ.
