2017 YEAR END AWARDS WRESTLER OF THE YEAR"HAVOK DEATH MACHINE" JESSICKA HAVOKThe "Havok Death Machine" was nearly unstoppable in 2017 starting the year off as part of the winning team at the Aloha State Mixed Tag Team Invitational alongside her partner Mike Fortune. Havok used that momentum to win the Shimmer Championship on March 18th and has dominated Shimmer every since only losing once and that was when she got herself disqualified against Barbi Hayden. Havok ended the year with reigning as the Shimmer Champion, how much longer will her reign last and who on the Shimmer Roster will finally put an end to Jessicka Havok's reign? TAG TEAM OF THE YEARLUCHA SISTERS (Leva Bates & Mia Yim)Until they completely fell apart and broke up the Lucha Sisters were the team to beat in Shimmer. Winning the Shimmer Tag Team Championships twice during the year. After losing the Championship the second time Mia Yim turned on Leva Bates ending the partnership. Mia Yim is now part of the Dollhouse with Marti Belle while Leva Bates is now working on her singles career after winning the Shimmer Tag Team Championships a total of seven times throughout her Shimmer Career. With the Lucha Sisters now a thing of the past who will win this award in 2018? ROOKIE OF THE YEARTHE HEART OF SHIMMER CHAMPIONSHIPThe newest addition to the Shimmer Locker Room in 2017 was the Heart of Shimmer Championship since it was first won by Madison Rayne on May 6th the Championship has changed hands eight times with both Davina Rose and Melanie Cruise winning the belt twice. With how quickly this belt has become sought after the question has to be how long can the reigning Heart of Shimmer Champion "Crazy" Mary Dobson hold onto the Championship as her reign heads into 2018.

Quite surprised by some of the names that advanced into the next round of the title tournament... Especially Louis Lyndon pulling off a major upset against Omega and Ciampa... Less than a minute! Holy snap! Still picking Styles to win it all...
The upcoming champion vs champion exhibition matches are an entertaining touch... Something I'm going to have to keep in mind for when I reboot my Indy fed...
Awesome stuff!
