Unfortunately it wasn't enough for the Osirian Portal to take this one away from AC/DC. Shortly afterwards Ophidian tried to toss Corbin off the ropes only for Corbin to reverse and start slo-motion for the next few moves, which included Corbin hitting the first Ginger Snap for a long slow two count. Corbin then connected with three straight Sould Crushing Finale's before ending this one with the second Ginger Snap as Arik Cannon prevented Amasis from making the save. BREAKING NEWS IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE COMMISSIONER ALLISON DANGERALLISON DANGER: It is with a very heavy heart that I am coming her before you all today on ShimmerWrestling.com. In the last couple of hours Shimmer has sadly had several women announce their retirement on the advice of doctors orders. Those women are:
I wish all three women all the best as they move away from the world of Professional Wrestling. I know from experience that a forced retirement is never very easy to deal with. That isn't the only reason I am here today, the Shimmer Offices were also bombarded with nearly a dozen requests by our talent for releases from their contracts with Shimmer Women Athletes and the National Wrestling Alliance. On the bright side several new talents will be set to debut with Shimmer over the next several months as they finish up contract obligations to other organizations. The women who have requested and been granted their releases so far are:
I am a firm believer that if a wrestler doesn't want to be here than they are more than free to pursue opportunities elsewhere. The way I see it if someone isn't happy when they are here then they won't give our fans the 110% they deserve from our talent each time they step into the ring. It's the reason I retired from in ring competition. I was no longer able to give that effort and I didn't want to disappoint our fans. In the next couple of hours I'll be releasing the updated card for Volume 114 and I'll also be addressing the remaining women on the Shimmer Womens Athletes roster to make sure that everyone is completely committed to Shimmer going forward. Finally I would like to take this time to apologize to both our fans and sponsors for this unfortunate turn of events.
