These feds have some of the most entertaining duos on the market... The Chests make me smile everytime they make an appearance... I also find myself growing partial to the Wyld Studz... Good times! The CHESTS are my favorite tag team in the game not an official team, great stuff for sure... The Chests have their own Double Team chart and are certainly held with high regard in FP-Dub. Sadly, Chocolate Milk just got steam rolled by The Vachons during our combined Boxing Day Brawl. Results to follow!

HBWA and FPW joint special event – Boxing Day Brawl “Oh have we got some festive action for you!”
Chocolate Milk (HBWA) v The Vachons (HBWA) SD Jones and Jake 'The Milkman' Milliman make their way to the ring on a milkfloat, decorated in tinsel and lights. Jones is dressed as Santa Claus and is throwing presents of flavoured milk drinks to the audience. Midway down the ramp, the Vachons attack the milkfloat, pulling Jones and The Milkman to the floor and throwing Milliman into the guardrail. The Vachons brutally double team SD Jones, then Jones rallies and hits a Philly Shuffle and Headbutt on Butcher. But his efforts are fruitless and Butcher hits a Hangman before Mad Dog steps in with a Piledriver for the win. Winners: The Vachons
Sam Houston (HBWA) v FPW’s Gladiator Champion Brad Armstrong Houston begins with whipping off his chaps and dancing in the ring, but Armstrong quickly controls the match and hits a Russian Leg Sweep in record time for the victory. Armstrong helps his opponent to his feet and shakes his hand. It hasn’t been a great start to Houston’s HBWA career… Winner: Brad Armstrong
Jim Londos (FPW) v Justin Credible (FPW) Despite his position as one of FPW’s biggest babyfaces, Londos has toughened up and fights Credible at his own game today, with plenty of out-of-the-ring action and attacks with various foreign objects. Credible hits That’s Incredible early on but Londos kicks out and comes back with an Aeroplane Spin. The crowd goes wild! After brawling out of the ring, Londos misses a Moonsault and Credible capitalises, grabbing his Singapore Cane and rendering Londos unable to kick out of the subsequent pin. Winner: Justin Credible
Backstage, The Wyld Studz are being interviewed in the locker room: Rose - “Ho ho ho and a Wyld Studmas to all our hot fans out there!” Jannetty - “I’ve hope you’ve all be nice because we’ve been real naughty, isn’t that right, Randy?” Rose - “You bet we have, Party Marty, and we ain’t gonna be holding back tonight when we will be taking Poffo and his Papi to the Heat Zone!” Jannetty - “Ow! Let’s get it on!”
The Wyld Studz (HBWA) v Lanny Poffo (HBWA) & Angelo Poffo The lights dim, suspense builds… and the raucous sound of Motley Crue’s Girls, Girls, Girls bursts out! The Wyld Studz (Marty Jannetty and Randy Rose) run to the ring, glad handing and winding up the crowd. The crowd scream in excitement! Already in the ring, Lanny Poffo is joined tonight by his father, Angelo Poffo, making his first appearance for HBWA. Perhaps protecting his ailing father, Lanny takes on the Studz almost single-handedly, delivering a Sky Drop on Rose early on. Rose and Jannetty tag back and forth with Wyld hand claps, and hit a double clothes line on Lanny. Angelo makes the save but Lanny is unable to recover after a patented Double Stud Buster and The Wyld Studs get the win. Jannetty jumps into his partner’s arms to celebrate, whilst Angelo checks on his fallen son. Winners: The Wyld Studz
Silas Young (FPW) v Jim Powers (HBWA) The ‘last real man in wrestling’ takes on Lanny Poffo’s former tag team partner Jim Powers tonight. Powers has the crowd behind him as he squares up to the scowling Young, and he’s really brought his A-game tonight! Powers hits an amazing four Power Slams and a fantastic High Cross Body – the crowd believe they’re going to witness a major upset! But eventually the tables turn and Powers is almost decapitated by a vicious clothesline from Young. Powers is unable to recover and is downed by a heavy Forearm Smash. After the bell rings, Young spits on Powers and kicks his limp body from the ring. Winner: Silas Young
Post match, Young is on the mic: Young - “Did you see what I just did? I made that chump Powers look like a million bucks but ultimately I had to teach him a lesson, just like I taught that sleaze ball Rick Rude a lesson last week. FPW, you’re all on notice. I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to win titles.”
The Killer Bees (HBWA) v Kendrick and London (FPW) This is a highly technical match between these well matched opponents, with lots of reversals and the two teams cancelling each other out. Just as Brunzell attempts a dropkick on London, the ring is invaded! Clad in the Bees’ yellow and black trunks and masks, the two intruders batter Kendrick and London and the referee calls for the bell. The Killer Bees have been disqualified! Blair and Brunzell look shocked – who are these masked invaders, dressed in the Bees’ own gear?! Blair and Brunzell chase them from the ring, and as they reach the curtain, one of the intruders is heard to scream “you’ll never draw a dime!”… Winners: Kendrick and London (via DQ)
Frank Dalton (FPW) v Fit Finlay (HBWA) This brutal match-up is more of a brawl than a wrestling match, as these two competitors throw each other all over the ring and out of it. Dalton bites and gouges Finlay’s face, until Finlay floors him with a nasty short arm clothesline. Finlay follows up with a skull splitting Kerrygold Butter and a dirty pin. After the match, Finlay takes the mic and proclaims he’ll be the first HBWA Commonwealth Champion, after the upcoming tournament. Winner: Fit Finlay
‘The Mouth Of The South’ Jimmy Hart is backstage with the newly crowned HBWA Television Champion, Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine; Hart - “Hey baby, The Hammer showed the World why he is Number 1 last week when he put Rob Van Dam out of commission, with a little help from his friends of course. The Hart Foundation is where it’s at, and Koko B. Ware, I feel so sorry for you, as The Hammer is not in a forgiving mood!”
*** HBWA TV Title Match ***
(Champion) Greg Valentine (HBWA) v Koko B. Ware (HBWA) Valentine is accompanied to the ring by his manager, Jimmy Hart. Ware starts with some early offence and manages a suplex on Valentine, before Valentine takes over and makes it a quick victory, locking Ware in the Figure 4 Leglock. As Valentine and Hart celebrate retaining the TV Title, Ware reflects on his fifteenth straight loss since joining HBWA. Winner: Greg Valentine
The Chests (FPW) v The Katz (FPW) The Chests stride to the ring to the sound of Olivia Newton John’s Let’s Get Physical, with their neon titantron flashing behind them. The Katz come down the ramp to join them, Jushin Thunder Liger and Tiger Mask wearing the Tag Team Championship belts and Battle Kat dancing behind. Tiger Mask takes a seat at ringside and the match kicks off. Liger begins with some dazzling offence against Mike Graham, following it up with a heavy Tombstone Piledriver. Bob Armstrong makes the save and comes in like a house on fire with karate chops all over Liger. Fearing his teammate to be in trouble, Battle Kat tags himself in. Kat attempts a Kat Rana but falls flat and is immediately obliterated by Armstrong, who traps him in a Sleeper. As Kat’s face turns blue beneath his mask, Graham cuts off Liger’s attempts to save his teammate and the referee rings the bell. A big win for The Chests against the current FPW Tag Team Champions! They’ll be expecting a title shot next! Winners: The Chests
Post match, Brian Kendrick and Paul London race down the entrance ramp and attempt to confront The Chests, who hot-foot it from the ring and jump the guardrail, fleeing through the crowd.
Nick Bockwinkel (FPW) and Mil Mascaras (HBWA) v Harley Race (HBWA) and Buddy Rogers (FPW) The crowd are on their feet for this one, with four of HBWA’s and FPW’s biggest stars in action. Mascaras starts off hot with an Octopus Hold on Race for a near pinfall. Rogers breaks the pin and tags himself in, locking Mascaras in the Figure Four Grapevine. After many reversals and great teamwork from each side, Bockwinkel applies the Figure Four Leglock to his FPW colleague Rogers. Rogers slips out and tags in Race. Bockwinkel immediately tries a surprise roll-up on Race but Race kicks out angrily. When a tired Bockwinkel eventually tags in Mascaras, Race hits Mascaras with a suplex and a Piledriver for the victory. Winners: Harley Race and Buddy Rogers
The crowd go home happy after a fantastic Boxing Day Brawl!

Festive action has to be considered an understatement when you're talking about two of the most amusing feds on the board... I love the character development and fun interactions... Very refreshing...
The Wyld Studz segment was a blast... Very pleased that they followed it up with a big win over papa and son Poffo...
Sketchy circumstances surrounding the Killer Bees loss... Where were Cornette's boys when all that was going down? I'd like to know...
Excellent main event victory for Race and Rogers to cap off the night...
Awesome stuff!

The Studz are so hot right now. They're driving all the fans crazy with their antics. I think Cornette's boys were taking a well earned Christmas rest, but we're not too sure who was under those hoods. They're might be a clue though...! We really enjoyed rolling the main event which reallt saw Mascaras take a pounding. More action to come soon!

H.B.W.A: Grapple Time Results
Dave Taylor defeated Mr X with a stiff British Suplex after a prolonged assault on the Masked One. Mr X valiantly fought back against the big Yorkshire bruiser, twice lifting a knee to thwart the charging Taylor. The end came however when X clumsily attempted a second rope moonsault, falling on his face, before Taylor scooped him high in the air to claim the victory. A dominant victory for the Englishman. Winner: Dave Taylor
Adrian Street was shown in a pre taped interview, hyping his forthcoming match with Harley Race; "If there's one guy in the HBWA that needs a make over then it's that bloody miserable Harley Race. On Friday night in Cardiff, with my Nation behind me and our World Champion Nigel McGuinness in my corner, I'm going to rearrange his face and hopefully make him a bit prettier..."
Blackpool legend Johnny Saint put on a wrestling clinic as he defeated 'Glorious' George South, tying him up in knots and nearly gaining a the win right out of the blocks with a cheeky school boy pin. South foolishly fell for the Lady Of The Lake, narrowly escaping the pin before South 'pretzelled' his opponent with the 3 In 1. Post match, Saint thanked the crowd for his wonderful reception and promised to win the HBWA Commonwealth Title. Winner: Johnny Saint
The Hamilton Wrecking Crew appeared in a pre taped interview with their manager, 'The Mouth Of The South' Jimmy Hart, who ran down tonight's opponents, Chocolate Milk; "It's The Hamilton Wrecking Crew! John and Chris Tolos! Tonight it's going to be one way traffic against those Milk Duds, S.D Jones and Jake 'Milk Can' Milliman! My boys are the perfect specimens, the number one tag team in the whole wide World! This one might be too cruel to watch- I can't wait!"
The Patriot defeated Johnny Rodz in an impressive, albeit short work out. Despite some early rugged offence from the New York native, The Patriot hit a spectacular flying cross body and the Patriot Missile to get the three count. Winner: The Patriot
Zack Sabre Jr. defeated F.P.W's Jigsaw in a highly competitive back and forth match up as both young athletes impressed with their high energy offense. Jigsaw smashed Sabre with a supekick, but was eventually defeated after being hit by the Sabre Driver before tapping to the Cross Arm Breaker. A video package showing The Wyld Studz enjoying a night out on the town is shown. 'Party' Marty Jannetty and 'Ravishing' Randy Rose are seen in a juice bar, high fiving as they are checking out the ladies in the gym, trying on sunglasses in a local chemists, riding a tandem the wrong way down a quiet B road and finally hitting the dance floor with their hot 80's moves at a questionable night club as a bevvy of lovely girls look on. The video package ends with the pair leaping into the air as the soundtrack of Motley Crue's 'Wild Side' comes to an end.
The Main Event sees The Hamilton Wrecking Crew completely dominate Chocolate Milk with the finish coming after a corkscrew and a series of flying knees on the hapless Jake Milliman. Chocolate Milk's offense was limited to a few purposeful jabs and elbows by S.D Jones but it was all in vain. Winners: Hamilton Wrecking Crew
****
Join us on Friday in Cardiff, Wales where Adrian Street will take on Harley Race, Greg Valentine takes on 'Leaping' Lanny Poffo for the T.V Title, and The Killer Bees team with Mil Mascaras to take on The Midnight Express and Terry Gordy. It should be a hot night!

FPW Midweek Mayhem As the audience are taking their seats, the camera opens on Larry Sharpe and Mr X backstage. Mr X is handing Sharpe his “New Nature Boy” robe, ready to put on. “No mate, I can’t wear that anymore, not after that beating Rogers gave me. You know he threatened me? Said he’ll break my legs in a Figure Four if I use the name ‘Nature Boy’ again.” Sharpe shudders. Mr X hangs the robe up neatly and smooths it down carefully. “No harm in keeping it ready though, eh?”.
Kicking us off tonight, The Colony take on Volstead and Sheppard and Larry Sharpe
Volstead and Sheppard haven’t been seen in FPW for several weeks, after dashing off mysteriously after their last match. They reappear this week, offering no explanation for their disappearance. Volstead and Sheppard stride down the ramp rolling up their shirt sleeves as they go. Larry Sharpe follows, and without his extravagant robe his shoulders seem to be drooping a little, his platinum blond hair seems a little flatter and he seems to be lacking the confidence he’s shown recently.
The colony bounce down the ramp to Adam and the Ants’ 1980 hit ‘Antmusic’. But what’s this? They have four members today! The ant who’s been seen in the audience for weeks has joined The Colony! As the music plays, the colony silently introduce their new member with many excited gestures, and the commentary team announces to the audience that his name is Worker Ant. Volstead and Sheppard panic – how can they take on four opponents? But Larry Sharpe comes to the rescue - “Don’t worry boys, I’ve got it covered”. Sharpe dashes off down the ramp and Volstead and Sheppard – and the audience – wait in anticipation. Who will he bring to join their team? After a minute, Sharpe reappears at the top of the ramp, beckoning to a figure behind the curtain…. There’s some movement, and the curtain bulges and twists as someone tries to fight their way through it. The unfortunate chap bursts through and tumbles onto the ramp. He gets to his feet, dusts off his leotard and raises both fists in the air – it’s Mr X! Sharpe applauds Mr X and those few members of the audience who aren’t doubled up laughing join in the applause as the two make their way to the ring. Volstead and Sheppard look at each other nervously and a bead of sweat runs down Volstead’s forehead. One or two ringside audience members hear him mutter to Sheppard, “With Sharpe it was bad enough but this is basically a four on two handicap match!”. The match gets underway with The Colony dictating the pace. Volstead and Sheppard start off trying to keep Sharpe and X out of the ring as far as possible, but as they begin to tire from the frantic work of The Colony, Mr X is tagged in. He attempts a moonsault off the first rope but falls flat, several feet from his opponent. Worker Ant moves to cover him but X moves surprisingly quickly - in a rare display of agility he springs to his corner and tags in Volstead. Worker makes short work of the exhausted Volstead, hitting a twisting belly to back suplex and rolling him up for the pin.
Winners: The Colony
Backstage, an interviewer tries to catch Volstead and Sheppard for a post-match interview. They shift anxiously from foot to foot, checking their watches, but before the first question has been asked they mumble something about an 'important meeting' and rush out of the building.
JD Michaels v Bruiser ‘The Body’ Costa Perhaps unsure how they can compete with the amazing pace of the last match, Michaels and Costa appear to have decided to go the opposite way and wrestle in slow motion. In a match that leaves nobody breathless, Costa eventually wins by DQ as JD Michaels is counted out. One audience member shouts that Costa has used his illegal Hot Coffee finisher outside the ring, but nobody cares, they’re just glad it’s over. Winner: Bruiser Costa
A teaser for Friday Night Live airs… ‘The Gorgeous Greek’ Jim Londos sits in a darkened room and turns towards the camera. He speaks slowly and quietly. “Justin Credible, you may have got the win last time but I am not defeated. I’ve picked the stipulation for our match this Friday and I am going to beat you at your own game…” He picks up a Cane from the floor and smacks it hard on the palm of his other hand. “It’s going to be a Singapore Cane Match!”
Frank Dalton v Jigsaw A mean-looking Dalton enters the ring to boos from most of the audience, and screams and whistles from a small bunch of hardcore female fans, one of whom throws some underwear to him as he passes by. As the match begins, Dalton’s offence is nasty, with plenty of biting and eye-gouging, but Jigsaw’s mask seems to offer some protection and the attacks have little effect. Jigsaw flies around the ring, hitting the Jig’n’Tonic three times, but each time Dalton is able to kick out. Neither wrestler can get any real momentum going, it’s back and forth between these competitors. Perhaps frustrated by the lack of impact of his usual attacks to the face, Dalton whips some knuckledusters from his shorts pocket and smashes Jigsaw in the forehead. Unfortunately for Dalton, the sharp-eyed referee catches him and calls for the bell. Dalton has been disqualified. Winner: Jigsaw
“Oh we hope you enjoyed tonight’s show! Don’t forget your tickets for Friday Night Live, where both the FPW Championship and Tag Team Titles will be defended!”

The antics of the Studz were as fun to watch as anything inside the ring... And I enjoyed The Colony's impressive victory to open up the Fist Pump show...
Wildly entertaining stuff, as always!

H.B.W.A Presents: Friday Night LIVE!
Live from Cardiff, Wales! "Hello everybody and welcome to another hot edition of Friday Night Live! I'm your host, Precious Paul Torissi and have we got an explosive evening for you! Isn't that right, Joe Breakdown?" "Yes Paul and a Happy new Year to all of our viewers out there. Tonight, we're going to see former HBWA Heavyweight Champion Harley Race in singles action against Wales' own 'Exotic' Adrian Street. I'm sure Street is going to be joined by out Heavyweight Champion, Nigel McGuinness. Those two are are closer than brothers right now!"Torissi: "You're right there, Breakdown. And that's not all, tonight sees the first four matches to determine the HBWA Commonwealth Champion!"Breakdown: "Indeed we do, and we're going to see some of the best talent that the indy wrestling scene has to offer as Angelo Mosca, Drew Galloway Ron Hutchison and J.D Michaels are all in action tonight, aiming to capture the strap.Torissi: "I'm looking forward to seeing Mosca. With a name like that, he's got to be a fiery Italian like me. That's coming later though- let's get straight to the ring for our opening encounter."The Belgian Brawler V Sam Houston
The young Texan, Sam Houston really struggled against the tough man from the Benelux, who took control of the match early on, throwing Houston to the arena floor and crashing him into the ring post. Houston rallied as the crowd got behind him and hit a bulldog out of nowhere to gain a near fall. Brawler dusted himself off and went up top, almost decapitating Houston with a sickening clothesline. Brawler made the cover and gained a somewhat surprising victory. Winner: The Belgian BrawlerAfter the match, The Brawler joined Jodie Marsh backstage for a quick interview; "Ik ga wo smash iedereen! Ha ha!Sam Houston u bent een patsy! Een jobber! Een Jabroni! Voel de macht van De Belgische Brawler !"
Torissi: "Next up is our first Commonwealth Champion's Tournament. We've got our very own S.D Jones taking on FPW's J.D Michaels!"S.D Jones (w/Jake Milliman) V J.D Michaels (FPW)FPW's J.D Michaels picked up a quick victory over one half of Chocolate Milk after some clumsy interference from Jones' plucky tag partner, Milliman. Sensing his his compatriot was in trouble early on, Milliman jumped onto the ring apron and blasted Michaels with a full litre bottle of Yoo Hoo chocolate milk. Even though the referee was unsighted, the interference was obvious as Michaels was covered from head to toe in the brown diary drink. The ref called for the bell as Jones looked on in disbelief at his hapless friend. Winner: J.D Michaels (advances to the next round) Backstage, Jodie Marsh is joined by Butcher Vachon and his brother, 'Mad Dog' Maurice Vachon: Marsh: "Boys, you're both in the Commonwealth Champion's Tournament. What happens if you face each other?"Mad Dog: "It doesn't matter which one of us wins, this belt is going back to Canada. No one can compete with the Mad Dog and The Butcher!"Butcher: "And tonight, my brother gets the night off, whilst I'm going to demolish that wimp Ron Hutchinson!"'Butcher' Vachon V Ron Hutchison (FPW) 'Pretty Boy' Hutchison really took the fight to the much bigger Butcher, going for a chicken wing early on and even trapping his opponent in the O'Connor Roll. Vachon powered out and hit a nasty looking back breaker before dropping a knee across Hutchinson's throat. Hutchison was tossed to the concrete where the assault continued. Vachon split his opponent's forehead open after hurling him into the ring steps before bundling him back into the ring. The match came to a conclusion when The Butcher hit the Hangman on his sorry opponent. Winner: Butcher Vachon (advances to the next round) Torissi: "That was pretty brutal, Breakdown. Who would bet against Butcher Vachon going all the way to winning the title?"Breakdown: "I would. I give you one name- 'Mad Dog' Vachon!"Torissi: "What about Angelo 'King King' Mosca? I'm not a betting man, but I'd go out on a limb and say he's going to crush Johnny Saint next!"Johnny Saint V Angelo 'King Kong' MoscaJohnny Saint did all he could to avoid the attentions of the intimidating Canadian, attempting to trap his opponents with a knuckle lock, neck scissor and a leg twist, but Mosca was just too strong and too nasty. Mosca began to bully the lithe Saint and slowed him down with a big football tackle. As Saint gingerly regained a vertical base, he was blasted again with a running clothesline. Mosca dropped the Big Nasty Elbow, but Saint managed to avoid the pin by draping a limp foot under the bottom rope. Saint rolled to the middle of the ring and balled up, offering a hand to the bemused former CFL star. Saint wowed the crowd by delivering the spectacular Russ Abbot but this only angered Mosca, who after another huge elbow, put his opponent to sleep with a sleeper right in the middle of the ring. Mosca advances.... Winner: Angelo 'King Kong' Mosca (advances) Backstage, locker room roving reporter Johnny Sausage is with 'The Birdman' Koko B. Ware:Sausage: "You're looking a bit down in the dumps, Koko- is it because you've lost every single match you've had since you've been here? That's even worse than Mr X! Remember? He beat that muscle bound meat head Jim Powers way back when!"Ware: "Thanks for reminding me, Johnny! But no, I'm not feeling low, I'm flying high! With Frankie on my arm, I just know that a win is coming soon, and it's going to be right here, right now in Cardiff, England!"Sausage: "Shouldn't that be Wales?"Ware: "Yeah, Wales England! Come on Frankie, let's find out who our tag team partner is tonight!"Sausage: "I can tell you if you like?"Ware: "Can you? I just know we're going to be a dream team!"Mr X (appearing at the side of Sausage): "It's me!"Ware: "....."
Koko B. Ware & Mr X V The Wyld Studz (Marty Jannetty & Randy Rose)The crowd are pumped for the arriving of the World's hottest, studliest tandem, The Wyld Studz! As Rod Stewart's 'Da Ya Think I'm Sexy' pumps out of the P.A, Rose and Jannetty strut down the ramp, embracing fans, jumping up and down and whooping like maniacs. In the ring, the action is hot and heavy as Jannetty goes to work on Mr X, flipping and flopping the masked mat master all over the ring. A series of explosive double team moves send X into a spin. A huge double back drop sends X scrambling to tag his partner, but he crawls to the wrong corner. On the apron, 'The Birdman' looks distraught. Is this really happening?! The match comes to an end when Rose delivers an assisted Rose Bomb. Ware leaps over the ropes to make the save, but he's drilled with a stinging right by Jannetty and the cover is made successfully. The crowd go 'Wyld!' Jannetty jumps into his partners arms as Ware checks on Mr X. As the Studz leap out of the ring, there's a strong feeling within the arena that we've all seen the future of tag wrestling. Winners: The Wyld Studz
Torissi: "Seems that Cardiff just can't get enough of those wonderful Studz!" Breakdown: "I'd like to see these pretty boys face some stiffer competition next week. Let's up the ante and put them in the ring with The Patriot and Hillbilly Jim next time out." Torissi: "Sounds like a plan, my man!"
Backstage, Jodie Marsh is my Drew Galloway who is making his HBWA debut tonight, as part of the Commonwealth Champion's Tournament: Galloway:"For all of my life, I have been training, getting ready for this moment. Tonight, everybody will see the truth. I am the Chosen One, I am the first Commonwealth Champion!"
Drew Galloway V Val Venis (FPW)The Welsh crowd were hot for this one right from the moment that FPW's in house 'adult superstar' Val Venis sauntered down the ramp. As Venis slowly removed his towel, he was jumped by Galloway who proceeded to decimate Venis, crushing him with the Scot Drop over and over again before snapping his neck back with a huge big boot. Venis looked spent from the get go as he was man handled by the impressive Galloway. There was some respite after Galloway missed an elbow. The crowd momentarily got behind Venis as he gave Galloway a hard posting before mounted the second turnbuckle, delivering s series of punches to the skull of the Scotsman. Galloway reacted negatively to the showboating and smashed Venis with an atomic drop, possibly cutting short Val's other lucrative career. The end came when Galloway delivered a big boot floowed by a double arm DDT. as the referee slapped the canvas, Galloway glared into the camera and mouthed the three count. A dominating debut from the big man from Ayr. Winner: Drew Galloway (advances) Torissi: "Way too easy. Wasn't that an impressive show?" Breakdown: "I think we have a new favourite. Give a huge hand for Mr Drew Galloway!" Backstage. 'The Mouth Of The South' Jimmy Hart is waxing lyrical about the Television Champion, Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine: Hart: "Hey baby, it's time to take a look at the greatest Television Champion of all time, Greg, 'The Hammer' Valentine! Since we teamed up, it's been success all the way baby! The sky's the limit and with The Hamilton Wrecking Crew making up the rest of the Hart Foundation, 2016 is going to be a brutal year for the rest of the HBWA locker room. You're either with us or against us, and tonight, that prancing poet, Lanny Poffo stands in our way!"Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine (W/Jimmy Hart) V 'Leaping' Lanny Poffo It's unclear as to whether the Television Title is online tonight, but in truth, it doesn't really matter as it's one way traffic right from the get go and 'The Hammer' pounds on his opponent, delivering a devastating Elbow Hammer and a power slam. With Hart taunting Poffo from the outside, the young man from Downer's Grove seems out of sorts and us unable to break from the figure four and taps, screaming for mercy. It's all too easy for 'The Hammer.' Winner: Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine
'Beautiful' Bobby Eaton, 'Sweet' Stan Lane & Terry 'Bamm Bamm' Gordy V B. Brian Blair, 'Jumping' Jim Brunzell & Mil Mascaras This six man tag was off the chain! As The Midnight Express manager James E. Cornette barked orders at his men, the tag champs took the match straight to Mascaras, blasting him with a flapjack for an early two count. The Mexican Legend seemed to no sell most of the tandem's offence as he effortlessly made the tag to Blair, who went toe to toe with Eaton. Blair got the better of the 'Beautiful One' earlier on, but Cornette's distraction allowed Gordy to illegally enter the ring and blast Blair from behind with a clubbing blow before hitting a cruel looking piledriver. Eaton went for the pin, but Mascaras spectacularly broke the pin with a flying splash off the top. As Gordy was tagged in, he continued to punish Blair, busting the bee wide open with what appeared to be a clenched fist. Despite Brunzell's pleas, the referee waved away all protests. As Cornette continued to yap at ringside, things took a turn for the worse for the Lousiville Slugger as the referee ordered him to the back! As he protested by stamping up and down on his own jacket, Brunzell and Blair pulled Masked Confusion and swapped places! As Gordy tagged in Lane, Brunzell rolled Lane into an inside cradle and gained a near pinfall. Confused, Lane went for a superkick but missed and planted his partner Gordy square on the jaw. As the big man fell, Mascaras was tagged in and he hit the bow and arrow on Gordy. As Eaton scrambled to make the save, Brunzell sent Eaton through the ropes with a sweet drop kick and Gordy was beaten! Mascaras celebrated with the Killer Bees in the centre of the ring. Winners: The Killer Bees & Mil Mascaras
Torissi: "Huge, huge win for The Bees and Mascaras there, but I sense some injustice! Cornette gets sent to the back and The Bees switched places!" Breakdown: "I didn't see it, but I'll tell you this. Next week The Killer Bees and The Midnight Express are going to face off for the Tag Team Titles...and Cornette is banned from ringside!" Torissi: "And are The Bees banned from wearing their masks?" Breakdown: "No, but if they fail to beat the Midnights, there will be no more title shots for the Killer Bees!" Torissi: "It's all or nothing then?!" Breakdown: "Let's see next week!" Backstage, Jodie Marsh is with HBWA World Heavyweight Champion Nigel McGuinness & 'Exotic' Adrian Street
Marsh: "So Nigel, what's the deal here then? Are you getting Adrian Street to do your dirty work?"McGuinness: "Listen up pretty lady- there's only one person that's done anything for Nigel McGuinness here in HBWA and that's....Nigel McGuinness. I don't need anybody's help, but I do hope that Mr Street gets the job done tonight against that grizzled, broken down old has-been Harley Race."Street: "You have nothing to worry about, champ. Despite my pretty exterior, gorgeous blonde hair, beautifully manicured nails and million dollar wardrobe, I am as mean and as tough as they come. Harley Race?! I mean, isn't it about time he hung up has tatty, stinking old tights and worn out boots? I'm going to mangle him. look at these arms! Look at this chest! Look at this face! I am the perfect specimen and the World's greatest wrestler and i'm here in my home Country where everybody will be behind me!"Marsh: "Good luck, guys....!"
Torissi: "It's main event time! Are you ready, Mr Breakdown?"Breakdown: "Born ready, my man, I'm looking forward to this one!"'Exotic' Adrian Street (W/Miss Linda & Nigel McGuinness) V Harley RaceThe Cardiff crowd went nuts for their man, Adrian Street as he strutted to the ring as Harley Race waited patiently inside. As the bell rang, Race lunged for Street, but Street ducked between the ropes and pushed his hands through his hair. As Race attempted to lock up, Street again avoided contact and skipped around his opponent, touching him on the nose and blowing a kiss. Irate, Race went for a waist lock take down but Street wriggled free and slipped out of the ring. Street ordered Miss Linda to hold up a mirror so he could check his hair. The crowd whooped with delight. As the referee began to count, Race dived through the ropes to break the count. He charged at Street who pulled Linda in front of him for protection! As Race fumed, Street clocked him from behind and knocked his bigger opponent to the floor, before beginning to lay the boots in. Street re entered the ring as McGuinness began to help Race to his feet. Spinning on his heels, Race planted a right hand on the World Champ and charged back in the ring. This time, Street was unable to avoid his opponent and a slug fest proceeded with the burly Race getting the better of the exchanges. Race scooped Street up for a body slam, smashed him with an elbow and a clothesline. As Race scaled the turnbuckle to deliver a flying headbutt, McGuinness charged the corner from the outside and hooked Race's leg away, sending him crashing to the canvas. Street recovered and locked Race in the London Bridge leg lock, but Race powered out and reversed the move into a figure four. Screaming in pain, Street is close to tapping until McGuinness stepped between the ropes and the referee called for the bell. McGuinness dropped a knee across Race's throat, causing him to break the hold. McGuinness delivered the Guv'nor's Crumpet, dropping Race. As Street is up and both Brits laid the boots in to the former champ. Street launched Race towards McGuinness who dropped him with a lariat. McGuinness sent the groggy race into the corner and Street smashed him with a big splash. The crowd turned on their hometown hero and begin to boo as they take exception to the two on one attack. Race was left down and struggling. As Street hauled 'Handsome Harley' to his feet, McGuinness taunted him by slapping him across the face. Race was left lying in the centre of the ring as Street and McGuinness exited, hands aloft. As the crowd hurled abuse at their former heroes, Street turned back to the crowd motioning that the audience can 'kiss his ass!' A wild show comes to an end! Winner: Harley Race (via D/Q)
Torissi: "I feel sick, that was brutal. Is that how we want our champion to behave?" Breakdown: "Right now, we've got to make sure Harley Race is o.k. I've never seen him destroyed like that!" Torissi: "And what a way for Street to take advantage of his loyal fans. I knew he couldn't be trusted!" Breakdown: "He's never pretended to have the fan's best interests at heart. I don't think this war is over just yet...but this show is. We hope you all enjoyed tonight's show. See you next week!" Torissi: "Ciao!"
See you next time for more hot HBWA action...all the way from the .UK!!
