We at least promise to treat you more respectfully than Mr. Laue and the CSW... We've already announced that you'll be facing our champion, currently Kurt Angle, at the Rumble in the Bronx. This Wednesday, on Wednesday Night Warriors, Mr. Saito has stepped up and asked to represent the NEW for your first match here. As for tonight, we'd be honored if you joined Gorilla Monsoon and Joey Styles in the broadcast booth!" Thesz smiles and shakes Heyman's hand, waves to the fans and takes a seat in the booth, and our main event is underway.
Match #5 NEW Heavyweight Title Match Champion Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam Both men come down to the broadcast booth to show their respect to the World Champ. Card #15 Wednesday Night Warriors Wednesday, October 7, 2015 Mellon Arena Pittsburgh, PA
Match #1 "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas vs. "Purple Haze" Mark Lewin w/Kevin Sullivan & The Master These two monsters clashed, and both men scored several near falls until Atlas scored with the Press Slam and Splash and got the victory.
Match #2 The Von Erichs vs. The Brisco Brothers These two sets of brothers shook hands before and after the bell. Jack dominated much of the match, but Jerry got caught in a David Von Erich Iron Claw and had no choice but to tap.
Match #3 NEW TV Title Match Champion "The Hollywood Vampire" Freddie Blassie vs. "The Russian Lion" George Hackenschmidt Hackenschmidt's woes continue, and Blassie continues to roll over the competition. Blassie wins with the Southern Neckbreaker.
Match #4 Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs. Johnny Valentine w/Oliver Humperdink This match between two top contenders went back and forth until Valentine dropped Steamboat on his head on the outside. Steamboat could not answer the 10-count and had to be helped to the back.
Match #5 Match 6 of The Best-of-7 Series (Generico up 3-2) "The Nebraska Tiger Man" John Pesek vs. El Generico Generico wins the sixth and deciding match, pinning Pesek after a Brainbustaaaaaah! After the bell, he helped Pesek to his feet and both men shook hands. Pesek then raised Generico's hand in victory as the crowd cheered. Pesek then nailed Generico with a clothesline! He then applied the Tiger Man Toehold and refused to release it until security dragged him away.
Match #6 Bruiser Brody vs. Luke Harper w/Kevin Sullivan & The Master Brody wins relatively easily, pinning Harper after a Jumping Knee Drop. After the match, WWA World Champion Lou Thesz was introduced to a huge ovation, and dressed in a suit, joined the announce team of Gorilla Monsoon and Joey Styles for commentary on the next match.
Match #7 Non-Title Match NEW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Fuji w/Oliver Humperdink When Angle got to the ring he asked for a mic and introduced a special guest sitting in a front row ringside seat. He introduces him as "Pittsburgh's favorite son, Bruno Sammartino!" and gets a huge pop from the Pittsburgh crowd. Angle asks Sammartino if he'd consider a return to the ring and Sammartino politely declines, pointing out his recent recovery from neck surgery. He said that he would enjoy his ringside seat and cheer on "Pittsburgh's other favorite son, Kurt Angle!" Angle manhandles Fuji, and eventually traps him in the Ankle Lock. Just as Fuji looked as though he might tap out, his tag partner Mr. Saito jumps on the apron. Angle releases the hold and dropkicks Saito off the apron as Fuji reaches for his ever-present bag of salt. WWA World Champion Lou Thesz leaves the broadcast booth and knocks the salt from Fuji's hand. As Fuji backs away from Thesz, he walks right into the Olympic Slam from Angle and the 1-2-3! As Angle and Thesz shake hands, Humperdink grabs a mic: "I knew it! We knew these two so-called 'champions' couldn't help but cheat to win. That's why we brought backup!" Humperdink points to the entrance ramp as Professor Toru Tanaka charges the ring! Angle and Thesz fought valiantly, but the numbers caught up to them, as Fuji and Saito double-teamed Thesz while Tanaka trapped Angle in the dreaded Shininomaki, the Cobra Sleeper. Hometown hero Bruno Sammartino could take no more and jumped the rail! Bruno entered the ring and cleared house! As the three heroes stand tall, Paul Heyman comes out and asks Bruno if he'd be up for a one-night contract for an unscheduled main event-a six man tag-Saito, Fuji, and Tanaka vs. Thesz, Angle, and Sammartino! Sammartino smiles and nods, and the three heroes shake hands.
Match #8 Bad Influence and Tommaso Ciampa vs. London & Kendrick and Matt Sydal This match full of high spots ends when Kazarian pins Kendrick after a Fade To Black.
Match #9 Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs. Rob Van Dam RVD controls the tempo for the majority of this match, but makes one mistake and gets caught by a piledriver, and Race gets the victory.
Match #10 WWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz, NEW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, and "The Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino vs. Mr. Fuji, Mr. Saito, and Professor Toru Tanaka w/Oliver Humperdink This was a wild free-for-all that the ref lost control of several times. Poor Mr. Fuji fell victim to an Olympic Slam, followed by a Bearhug from Sammartino, and was finally put away by Thesz's Greco-Roman Backdrop. All three heroes celebrate in the ring as we fade to black...

Card #17
Wednesday Night Warriors Wednesday, October 14, 2015 ECW Arena Philadelphia, PA
Match #1 Matt Sydal vs. Toru Tanaka w/Oliver Humperdink Sydal tried to use his high flying attacks vs. the raw power of Tanaka, but eventually got caught in the Shininomaki and had no choice but to tap. Tanaka held the hold until Sydal drifted into unconsciousness. Humperdink then challenged NEW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle and his new friend, Bruno Sammartino to team up against Mr. Fuji and Mr. Saito tonight!
Match #2 Tommaso Ciampa vs. Rob Van Dam Ciampa controlled the majority of this match, but RVD took over and quickly pinned him after a Five Star Frog Splash.
Match #3 Johnny Valentine w/Oliver Humperdink vs. Kevin Von Erich Von Erich scores a two-count early in the match, which apparently angers Valentine. Valentine then systematically destroys Von Erich, busting him open on the outside and then putting him away with the Atomic Skullcrusher. After the bell, Valentine presses his attack, and opens Von Erich up even worse. David Von Erich charges the ring to save his brother, but Valentine caught him as he was coming through the ropes. Valentine delivered an Atomic Skullcrusher to David and stood over both Von Erichs, laughing.
Match #4 "The Hawaiian Hammer" Don Muraco w/Paul Heyman vs. "The Russian Lion" George Hackenschmidt Hack finally wins one, beating Muraco by Countout. Backstage, we see Kurt Angle and Bruno Sammartino talking, and Bruno is still trying to maintain that he is retired.
Match #5 The Blackjacks w/Bobby Heenan vs. The APA w/Paul Heyman This match quickly degenerated to a wild brawl, leading to a Double DQ.
Match #6 NEW TV Title Match Champion "The Hollywood Vampire" Freddie Blassie vs. "The Nebraska Tiger Man" John Pesek Pesek, who was one of the most popular wrestlers in the NEW just a week ago, was booed due to his post-match attack on El Generico after losing their Best-of-7 series. Pesek showed a new aggressiveness and took it to the champ. He trapped Blassie in several submission holds, but Blassie showed why he's the champ, pinning Pesek after a Southern Neckbreaker.
Match #7 Kevin Sullivan w/The Master vs. Bruiser Brody Brody won by DQ after the other members of the Army of Darkness, Luke Harper and Mark Lewin get involved. All three men beat down Brody after the bell.
Match #8 Non-Title Match NEW Tag Team Champions Bad Influence vs. London & Kendrick This preview for next week's PPV title match ended badly for the challengers. Daniels pinned Kendrick after an Angel's Wings. Announcers Gorilla Monsoon and Joey Styles wonder just what chance the challengers will have next week against a team that has beaten them handily time and time again?
Match #9 Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs. "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas Race quickly beats Atlas with a Piledriver.
Match #10 Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito w/Oliver Humperdink vs. NEW Champion Kurt Angle & "The Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino It seems that Angle finally convinced Bruno to don the trunks again. Sammartino was hesitant to enter at first, but after Angle got in trouble and made the hot tag, Bruno cleared house. Bruno made Fuji submit to the Bear Hug for the victory.
Match #11 Non-Title Match WWA World Champion Lou Thesz vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat Another great exhibition match set up with the traveling WWA World Champion. This was an amazing technical display by both men, but Steamboat shocked the world, pinning Thesz with a small package when Thesz went for the STF! Both men shook hands and Thesz raised "The Dragon's" hand in victory.

Match #1 Mr. Saito w/Oliver Humperdink vs. Matt Sydal Saito pinned Sydal after a Saito Suplex.

Match #3 Bruiser Brody vs. "Purple Haze" Mark Lewin w/Kevin Sullivan & The Master Brody won with a Jumping Knee Drop.
Match #4 Kevin Sullivan & Luke Harper w/The Master vs. The Briscoe Brothers Sullivan pins Jerry after the Double Foot Stomp. When the next segment starts, 10 wrestlers are in the ring, seemingly not knowing why. NEW GM Paul Heyman comes to the top of the ramp: "As everyone knows, this Sunday is the NEW's next PPV, Rumble in the Bronx, at Yankee Stadium! To give everyone a taste of what to expect, these ten men are about to compete in a battle royal! The winner of this battle royal will earn himself the final entry, #25, in this Sunday's Rumble! Good luck, gentlemen! Oh and by the way, to whomever is eliminated first? He will earn the #1 entry into the Rumble! Carry on, gentlemen..."
Match #5 10-Man Battle Royal "Nebraska Tiger Man" John Pesek Barry Windham Mike Rotundo Johnny Valentine Tommaso Ciampa "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas Mr. Saito Kevin Von Erich David Von Erich "The Russian Lion" George Hackenschmidt
Eliminations: Pesek (by Kevin Von Erich) Ciampa (by Rotundo) Hackenschmidt (by Atlas) David Von Erich (by Valentine) Atlas (by K Von Erich) Rotundo (by Valentine) Saito (by K Von Erich) Kevin Von Erich (by Valentine) Valentine (by Windham)
Valentine was dominant in this match, eliminating both Von Erichs and Mike Rotundo. He thought he had eliminated Windham, but Windham's feet never touched the ground. As Valentine hoisted Kevin Von Erich over the top, Windham drop kicked him from behind and sent him over the top. Valentine returned to the ring and assaulted Windham, delivering several Atomic Skullcrushers, leaving him a bloody mess until Rotundo and the Von Erichs chased him off. As a result of this match, Barry Windham will be #25 in the Rumble, while John Pesek has the unenviable task of being #1.
Match #6 NEW TV Title Match Champion "The Hollywood Vampire" Freddie Blassie vs. Blackjack Lanza w/Bobby Heenan Lanza wins by DQ when Blassie hits him with a chair; Blassie retains.
Match #7 Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs. Rob Van Dam Race wins by DQ when RVD tries the Van Daminator.
Match #8 NEW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle and "The Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino vs. Mr. Fuji and Professor Toru Tanaka w/Oliver Humperdink Angle and Sammartino win by DQ when Fuji throws salt in their eyes. Both men, blinded, attempt to fight their way away from the Japanese contingent, only to accidentally get into a brawl with each other! WWA World Champion Lou Thesz, Ricky Steamboat, and the Brisco Brothers help separate the two and explain what happened.
Match #9 2/3 Falls for the WWA World Heavyweight Championship WWA World Champion Lou Thesz vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat Thesz granted this rematch after Steamboat cleanly pinned him in a non-title match last week. Both men wrestled for nearly 30 minutes without a fall. Steamboat kicked out of a Thesz press, Thesz reversed a Flying Crossbody, reversal upon reversal, until Thesz won the first fall with a Greco-Roman Backdrop. Steamboat won the second fall with a rollup. The third fall was controversial, as the time limit expired, but after the crowd chanted "5 more minutes!" both men agreed to overtime. In the deciding fall, Thesz pinned Steamboat after a Thesz Press. Both men shook hands as the crowd chanted "Match of the Year!" as announcers Gorilla Monsoon and Joey Styles close with "Don't miss Rumble in the Bronx, this Sunday on PPV!"

Card #19 Rumble in the Bronx Sunday, October 25, 2015 Yankee Stadium New York, NY
Match #1 TV Title Match: Freddie Blassie vs. TBD The random opponent generator chose...Bruiser Brody! These two lunatics went at it tooth and nail, but Blassie got the win when the Army of Darkness distracted Brody and Blassie was able to connect with the Southern Neckbreaker.
NEW commentators Gorilla Monsoon and Joey Styles noted a group of fans in the front row wearing El Generico masks and holding up "Get Well, El Generico" signs. Monsoon detailed the "disgusting attack" on Generico by John Pesek, and that Generico has been out for nearly three weeks rehabbing his ankle, injured by the dreaded Tiger Man Toehold. Monsoon and Styles wished Generico luck and hoped to see him back in action soon.
Match #2 Triple Crown Championship Match: Champion Rob Van Dam vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs. Luke Harper There was a combined 17 tokens handed out in this match. Harper became the new Triple Crown Champion after nailing Steamboat with a Big Boot.
Match #3 The APA and Don Muraco w/Paul Heyman vs. Harley Race and The Blackjacks w/Bobby Heenan Race and Muraco carried the workload for their respective teams, attempting to make this resemble a wrestling match. The emotions involved in this ongoing feud took over, and this match degenerated into a brawl. It looked like it might end in a pinfall when Bradshaw hit the Clothesline From Hell on Lanza, but a muscular blond man jumped in the ring and hit Bradshaw with a chair, forcing the ref to call for the DQ. Race and the Blackjacks joined in and the numbers added up. After leaving Muraco and the APA laid out, Heenan introduced his newest charge, "The Olympic Strongman" Ken Patera!
Match #4 No DQ Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Freddie Blassie Both men looked a little winded from competing in previous matches, but that didn't stop these two from taking this feud all over the arena! At one point, Blassie put RVD through a flaming table, but still wasn't able to put the high flyer away! RVD connected with a Van Daminator and Blassie kicked out! RVD finally got the win with three (!) straight Five Star Frog Splashes!
Match #5 Tag Team Title Match: Bad Influence vs. London & Kendrick London and Kendrick scored early with some high impact moves on Kazarian, but missed their opportunity to capitalize. Kazarian was able to tag in Daniels, who took over. In the end, Bad Influence successfully defended their titles when Daniels hit the Angel's Wings on London. (London and Kendrick had 6 tokens each by the end of this one).
Match #6 Exhibition Match: WWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz vs. NEW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle Thesz won the first fall with the Thesz Press. Angle won the second after an Olympic Slam on the outside. Thesz won the third and deciding fall by submission with the STF. Both men shook hands to a standing ovation.
Match #7 The Rumble
Highlights: John Pesek was unlucky #1 due to being the first one eliminated in a battle royal in last week's Wednesday Night Warriors. His bad luck didn't end there, however. El Generico made his return, jumping the barricade from his hiding place among the El Generico fan club and jumped Pesek! Generico delivered a Yakuza kick and a Brainbustaaaah! before being stopped by security. It was then child's play for NEW newcomer Ken Patera to hoist the dazed form of Pesek out of the ring. Ml
The early goings of this match was definitely the Ken Patera Show, as the Olympic strongman was dominant, eliminating five competitors.
At the 36th minute, a familiar drum roll followed by bagpipes blasted through the arena. The curtain was pushed aside and out strolled "The Rowdy Scot" himself, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, followed by his bodyguard, "Cowboy" Bob Orton!
There were several NEW debuts in the Rumble, most notably Piper and Patera, but also the masked tag team, The Conquistadors.
The final three came down to Johnny Valentine, Piper, and Barry Windham. As Piper and Windham struggled near the ropes, Valentine struck from behind and flipped both combatants out of the ring, winning the 1st NEW Rumble in the Bronx, and earning the title shot at NEW Year's Bash in December!
After the bell, and angry Windham, obviously still hot about Valentine's attack on him last week, confronted Valentine. Valentine begged off, and as soon as Windham turned away, Valentine blindsided him. He pressed the attack and delivered several Atomic Skullcrushers, again bloodying Windham. Valentine grabbed a mic: "Kurt Angle, I'm going to tell you and everyone else in my way one thing, and Mr. Windham here can attest to it: I can't make anyone believe that pro wrestling is real, but I can sure as hell make you believe that I'm for real! The NEW is officially on notice."
