Heart of Dixie Premier Episode 04.01.2000 from Atlanta, Georgia
- Interview w. Stu - Stu Stone introduced the Family Stone, Shaun Ricker and Brian Cage, who were reforming their Natural Selection team, and newcomer Donovan Dijak. At the end of the interview, Eric Bischoff mentioned that Dijak would have the honor of participating in the first ever Heart of Dixie match. Stone said that was not true, as he told the booking committee that Dijak may be new but he's also the future. The first match on the card is called the curtain jerker because only "jabroni jerkwads" ever get assigned it. Dijak will never be in the opening match of a card. Stone said that JT Lightning, Dijak's opponent, best enjoy this forfeit win as it is the only win he will probably ever get.
In the ring, referee Bryce Remsburg began a 20-count. Lightning broke the count saying that he didn't want to go down in the record books as winning the first ever HoD match by forfeit. He called Dijak a coward, and then called out anyone in either locker room to come out. Remsburg said that he was re-starting the count as they had to move on with the show. If anyone came out, he would sanction the match right then. Otherwise, Lightning got his forfeit win. Remsburg had barely started when Bruiser Costa came out and said that if Lightning didn't want a forfeit win then he was getting a beatdown loss.
Bruiser Costa vs. JT Lightning JT Lightning defeated Bruiser Costa with a CATTLE MUTILATION Match Notes: Lightning dominated Costa on the way to a win via CATTLE MUTILATION. As Lightning made his way to the locker room, Stu Stone met him in the aisle. Stone said that Lightning was under the Family's radar right now, and not worthy to be on it. At some point, though, Dijak would have some down time and Stone would remind him of what Lightning said. His career would be short-lived after that.
Johnny Saint vs. Rex Havoc Rex Havoc defeated Johnny Saint with a KILL PREY Match Notes: Havoc was accompanied by the Dark Menace. The Menace took his place at the announcer's table and Gordon Solie asked him if he needed to be at ringside with his man. The Menace said that Havoc didn't need his help beating anybody, much less this British fossil. In ring, Havoc echoed his manager, claiming he wouldn't be responsible if this old geezer stroked out in the middle of the ring. Havoc asked The Menace if he could get a waiver so Saint's family couldn't sue them. Once the match started, their tune quickly changed. Saint tied Havoc in knots, completely confounding him. It looked like Saint would pick up the win, but Havoc took advantage of a mistimed turnbuckle move and dumped Saint to the floor. After that, the match became more Havoc's style. He couldn't put Saint away, however, as the veteran escaped from both the Inverted Indian Deathlock and the KILL PREY. Outside the ring a second time, Saint catches a foreign object that the Menace tossed to Havoc. One shot with that and Saint was back in control. From this point on, the match had a give-and-take flow that almost ended with Havoc falling to the Saint Special. The Menace did move to ringside, but Havoc was seen telling him to "let me handle this." Finally, Havoc did handle it, forcing Saint to tap to a second KILL PREY. The Menace entered the ring and looked like he was going after Saint with his cane. Havoc held him back and helped Saint to his feet. The Menace assumed Havoc would attack Saint, but Havoc shook his hand and left. The surprised Menace followed.
Tommy End vs. DJ Hyde Tommy End defeated DJ Hyde with an OWARI DEATH FOOT STOMP Match Notes: A very exciting, hard-hitting match...End kicked out of two SHADOWDRIVERS and 2 summoning lariats on the way to victory, while Hyde survived 2 Elohim combinations and an initial OWARI DEATH FOOT STOMP before falling to the second a few minutes later. The ref called this match very loosely, letting the two men fight.
- BLKOUT and Da' Soultouchaz - Da' Soultouchaz came out first w C Red and Dymond. As the ring announcer was introducing BLKOUT, Joker told him to shut up because folks know who we are. They approached C Red. Ruckus said that the reason HoD put us together in a match was to keep us apart backstage. The only reason we signed to wrestle for a fed in the Heart of Redneckville was because these hillbillies have lots of money and it spends just like anyone else's. By this time, the crowd has lost it. He continued by saying that BLKOUT, Da' Soultouchaz, and Homicide all need to be working together to show these crackers who's really in charge. C Red called DST off to the side in a huddle. Meanwhile, BLKOUT had Dymond up against the ropes. At about the time Jaz noticed this, Joker grabbed Dymond's rear and she squealed. Red and DST ran to her. BLKOUT were acting cool like they were just messing around and didn't mean anything, although Joker added that he did think she liked it more than she was letting on. Red spoke up and said that he didn't call DST off to the side to discuss whether or not to join with BLKOUT. That was an easy decision. BLKOUT offered to bump knuckles with Rockett and Jaz. Red said that the easy decision was to say "Hell, No!" What they were discussing was how to tell you guys. Since you put your hand on my woman, you made the decision easy. At that point, Red turned and slugged Joker. Red and Dymond climbed out of the ring as the timekeeper rang the bell to begin the match,
BLKOUT vs. Da' Soultouchaz Marshe Rockett defeated Joker with a Corkscrew Body Splash Match Notes: DST picked up a measure of revenge for BLKOUT's disrespect of Dymond in another very good match. DST had the advantage for a while at the beginning due to Red's "cheap shot," but BLKOUT came back and made it a match. After the bell, Jaz held up Joker and let Dymond slap him across the face.
Petey Williams vs. Scorpio Sky Scorpio Sky defeated Petey Williams with a Countout Match Notes: Sky controlled 90% of the match, but was unable to put Williams away. The end came when Petey had rolled out of the ring after being hit with a high-impact move. The match had been going on for a while by this point and both men, but Williams especially, had little left in the tank. As Sky drew intentionally broke the count and drew the ref's attention from Williams, a nondescript man came out and chopped blocked Williams from behind, taking out his knee. Sky released the ref who re-started the count. There was a moment where it looked like Williams might beat the count and Sky looked disgusted. At "18," as Williams began to climb through the ropes, his knee gave out and he tumbled to the floor. Sky grabbed the mic and said "1 down, 1 to go."

Heart of Dixie Episode 2 04.08.2000 from Atlanta, Georgia
- Show Opening - As Solie and Bischoff welcomed the fans and ran down the card, Petey Williams interrupted. He demanded that they play the footage from the end of last week's match showing the mystery man attacking him outside the ring. Scorpio Sky showed up and said that if Williams thought that guy cost him the match then he's out of his mind. That guy, whoever he is, saved your life. Sky said that if Williams has re-entered the ring that he might have been crippled. Sky said it's still "1 down, 1 to go." Williams said that the first one's far from down if you're talking about me, and whoever the "to go" is won't ever come into play. The two men almost came to blows in the interview area, but security pulled them apart.
Next, The Dark Menace and Rex Havoc entered. The Menace said that the rumor around the office was that he couldn't control his men. He told Havoc to tell the people that there's no problem. Havoc said exactly, "there's no problem.' Bischoff asked about the other man that The Menace was supposed to be managing. The Menace laughed and said "don't be in too much of a rush to seal the fate of HoD. Once The Morning Star arrives, you will all be working for me...or not at all.
Ultramantis Black and Bruiser Costa are in the ring for the next match. Costa asks for a mic. He asks UMB if he's planning on starting the "Solar Order Neo-Church-thing(sic)" in HoD. UMB replied "that my plans can't even be comprehended by a lower order intellect like yourself...and I use the work intellect loosely." Costa asked if there was a way he could get involved. UMB asked Costa if he had even heard what he said. Costa said that he heard it, he just didn't get it. UMB said that "I watched you get dismantled by a nobody in JT Lightning a week ago, and that he "was a fat tub of lard who wouldn't have a place in my plans if you were the only wrestlers left on Earth." Costa said, "I understood the tub of lard part," threw down the mic, and went after UMB.
Ultramantis Black vs. Bruiser Costa Bruiser Costa defeated Ultramantis Black with a Disqualification Match Notes: Costa's attempt at an early advantage was quickly put down by UMB. Mantis dominated the match, appearing at times to be toying with Costa. He didn't secure the win, however, due to flagrantly smashing a chair over Costa's head outside the ring. He gave Costa another couple of shots while he was down. He then took the mic and said that "winning and losing sometimes takes a back seat to sending a message. The message is...I will reveal my plans at a time of my choosing. No wrestler here or anywhere else should presume to be worthy until I deign them to be worthy."
Tommy End vs. JT Lightning Tommy End defeated JT Lightning with an OWARI DEATH FOOT STOMP Match Notes: End dominated Lightning, defeating him in 8 moves. End asked for a mic. He said that he was sad. He was watching a legacy be destroyed because someone didn't know it was time to go out to pasture. They were an old beat-up has been, but they were too stubborn to admit it. He said that he was going to talk to this person first and tell them to do the right thing. If they kept embarrassing themself, then End said that he would retire them against their will.
Excalibur vs. Necro Butcher Excalibur defeated Necro Butcher with a Disqualification Match Notes: The match was only a few seconds in when it spilled out onto the floor and Necro Butcher went nuts. He grabbed his chain and began thrashing Excalibur. He hauled Excalibur into the ring and was about to hang him with the chain when MASADA hit the ring. MASADA only got a couple of shots in before Butcher disappeared into the crowd. MASADA called for the medical staff. He then addressed the crowd, saying that "the single reason he signed with HoD was the psycho who just ran like a coward out the front door." He said that DJ Hyde "called me and told me that Butcher had signed on because he knew I was looking for him. Hyde pulled some strings and got me in. I don't know if I'm here for long, but I will be here long enough to run that waste of skin out of wrestling and do it by beating him at his own game."
- Stu & The Family Stone - Stu Stone and his men were in the interview area. Stone said the show was just now starting since everything before was irrelevant. Bischoff mentioned that Dijak was being fined for his refusal to work the opening match last week. Stone said the fine was a joke, and has been paid along with a little extra since the committee is looking like a bunch of bums who should be living under the overpass. They looked like they need some help. They talked about Natural Selection's match with Baltic Siege. Ricker said that he and Cage were going to unmask those freaks and move on after tonight. Cage said it was almost embarrassing to be in the same ring with those two, and it was their job to put them out ASAP. Dijak spoke up and said that it's time HoD realized my greatness. In tonight's main event, the part of the card where I should always be wrestling, and will be, I will start my conquest of HoD by destroying the legend, Tyler Black.
Baltic Siege vs. Natural Selection Latvian Proud Oak defeated Brian Cage with a Tree Top Drop Match Notes: Natural Selection looked to be the only embarrassments in this match as they were put away quickly. Brian Cage started the match and was pinned before Ricker ever legally tagged in. Thunderfrog hit the FROGGY SPLASH for a likely pinfall, but Stone's interference broke the count. Oak immediately followed it up with the TREE TOP DROP for the pin. Stone went ballistic and ordered his men to attack. Ricker grabbed Thunderfrog's hammer and laid out both members of the Baltic Siege and the ref. At his insistence, they continued to put the boots to the Siege. Finally, Tyler Black cleared the ring with a chair. Dijak tried a sneak attack of his own, but Black was ready.
Donovan Dijak vs. Tyler Black Tyler Black defeated Donovan Dijak with a Rubix Cube Match Notes: Despite the liberal interference of Stu and the rest of the Family, Black picks up a win. However, Dijak gave Black all he could handle without any help. At one point, Stu got on the apron and offered Black cash to join the Family right here. Black appeared to be considering it, but it was just a ploy to get at Stone. A Dijak cheap shot prevented Black from doing so. Later, Natural Selection interfered to save Dijak from another pin. Baltic Siege showed up at ringside and ran them off. Black was finally able to put Dijak away. After the match, Black took the mic and told Dijak that he did have a great future in the business. He said Dijak is as tough as they come, but if he wants to accomplish anything, he needs to dump that "Stone" around his neck. It's just holding him back by weighing him down.

Very cool to see The End starting off strong... Lots of great action... And some solid rivalries building up - especially Tyler Black vs the Family Stone... Looking forward to watching this fed grow... Nice work!

Tommy End is probably my favorite wrestler that I know nothing about. I've watched and thoroughly enjoyed some stuff off YouTube, and I listened to a podcast with Colt Cabana that you may have directed me at. Other than that, I only know what's on his card.
His look and move names on his card, with all the religious imagery, are really cool, and that was my first impetus for researching him more.
I was glad he beat Hyde, who I like also, to get him off strong. This first program is designed to build on that since I'm hoping it will lead to several wins. You can probably guess who he is talking about.
Do you know anything about Michael Dante/Anthony Zeus? Tommy's Brother? They both wrestled as Van Dyck's at one point and they look alike. They teamed as the Sumerian Death Squad, which may be the best tag team name ever.
Also, Tommy's apparently injured right now and it seems quasi-serious. Maybe not career-ending, but career-delaying to be sure.

Maybe not career-ending, but career-delaying to be sure. I'm really in the save boat as you... I know very little about most Indy wrestlers until I do some research on them... And that usually doesn't happen until they arrive in the FG universe... But, I still managed to become quite a fan of The End... Was not aware that Tommy has a brother who also wrestles... Maybe we'll get a card for him someday... That would be cool... Hope that his injury is not too serious... He's extremely talented and would hate to see him lose so many years of what could be an awesome career... Not sure at this point who Tommy is gunning for in Heart of Dixie... Look forward to finding out!

Heart of Dixie Episode 4 04.23.2000 from Atlanta, Georgia
- Show Opener and C Red Incident - It was a standard show-opening. C Red and Dymond entered the backstage area through a door not far from the interview area. Eric Bischoff had just called Red over to talk when BLKOUT jumped him. The beating was swift and brutal. Dymond jumped on Joker's back and was trying to scratch at his eyes, but he flipped her over to concrete floor. As she lay there stunned, he lay on top of her. Bischoff called for the camera to pan away to save her dignity as refs and other wrestlers arrived. BLKOUT escaped out the door that their victims had just come through. Bischoff commented that neither BLKOUT nor Da' Soultouchaz, aside from Red, was scheduled to be here.
Johnny Saint vs. Bruiser Costa Johnny Saint defeated Bruiser Costa with a Saint Special Match Notes: Saint dominated Costa. Finally, Costa capitalized on a rare Saint error and took over, unleashing every illegal and/or shortcut tactic imaginable. It didn't last long, and Saint regained control. As it looked like Costa would swing the momentum a second time, Saint rolled him up out of nowhere.
As Saint worked his way around the ring meeting the fans, Tommy End climbed into the ring. He asked Saint to join him and told Costa to hit the showers. Saint got back in the ring and the two shook hands. End talked about how he grew up idolizing Saint. End talked about growing up in Norway, and he and a friend would get tapes of Saint from Great Britain. He thanked Saint for inspiring him to get into wrestling. However, he then said, "all good things must come to an end, pardon the pun, and Johnny, it's your time." He talked about how Johnny just looked old and slow, and how he was embarrassing his legacy. Johnny said that he assumes he was who End was talking about last week. He said that if he was, then End needs to listen. Saint said that he will retire when he's bloody good and ready, and nobody is going to force him to do so. He said he just beat a tough guy in Bruiser Costa, and had a great match with Rex Havoc last week. End said that the Johnny he wants to remember would've destroyed Havoc in seconds, and wouldn't have ever been in a ring with a slob like Costa. End said that he was done talking, and that he wanted Saint to do the right thing. Saint left the ring.
Between matches, Solie gave an update on Excalibur, saying that he would be out a couple more weeks due to the neck injury suffered at the hands of Necro Butcher. He reported that C Red and Dymond had been taken to the hospital, and that Dymond was in worse shape than Red. The bump she took when Joker flipped her had injured her back, and he had aggravated those injuries with his follow-up actions. HoD management offered to contact the authorities, as they did not consider this attack a normal part of wrestling business. Red declined, saying that DST would handle it their own way. Speaking of DST, they were already rearranging their schedule to be here next week. If BLKOUT fail to show, they will be fired on the spot and the authorities will likely become involved.
MASADA was in the ring for the next match. He said that he had checked every place a person could hide in this building, and it looks like Necro has taken the coward's way out. He said that a fan asked him what his beef was with Necro. As he started to tell the story, his opponent, JT Lightning, jumped him from behind.
MASADA vs. JT Lightning JT Lightning defeated MASADA with a Disqualification Match Notes: Lightning's sneak attack turned what many thought would be an easy MASADA win into a long struggle. Lightning controlled the match with his speed, and thwarted multiple attempts by MASADA at a comeback. He managed to keep the match in the ring, negating any advantage the brawler would have, until the end. In what's best described as frustration, MASADA grabbed a chair outside the ring and hammered on Lightning with no attempt to conceal it. The ref quickly called for the bell, and at that moment, Necro came from underneath the ring. MASADA never saw him and was taken out with a chain shot. Necro drug him into the ring and hung him in the same manner as Excalibur. MASADA hung a lot longer than Excalibur did before DJ Hyde came out and ran Necro off. MASADA dropped to the floor not moving. He was quickly attended to, and carried off on a gurney with his neck stabilized. Hyde called out Necro and said that he wanted a match next week.
- Homicide Intro - Eric Bischoff welcomed Homicide to HoD. Homicide said that he had heard BLKOUT's comments about wrestling in the Deep South. He said some of his crew had given him crap about wrestling for a company with Dixie in the name. However, while he's not looking at the situation the same way BLKOUT does in respect to the fans, they were right that the money spends the same. He then said that he wanted to establish right here that he was not involved with BLKOUT at all. He said he doesn't know Da' Soultouchaz, and that they can handle their own business. If BLKOUT keeps this garbage up with actions like they did to Dymond, he will get involved. Meanwhile, this Dark Menace, whoever he is, has been making some noise about Homicide. He said that this Menace is whitest guy he's ever seen calling himself Dark Anything. If he thinks he's ready to run his crew through Homicide's 'hood, he's welcome to try.
In the ring, the Dark Menace started to speak, but Homicide took the mic out of his hand. He said these folks didn't pay to see you tell me what your man is going to do to me, they paid to see him fail to do it and the consequences for his failure at my hands. Havoc jumped Homicide and the match was on.
Rex Havoc vs. Homicide Rex Havoc defeated Homicide with a Disqualification Match Notes: Homicide was disqualified for going after Havoc with his trademark taped fork. The Dark Menace got back on the mic and asked Homicide why he needed a weapon to beat his man, Rex Havoc. Homicide answered it was because you couldn't keep your nose out of the match. You might as well write foreign object on your forehead since he definitely needs you to win. The difference is that my fork actually hurts when it hits you. Homicide looked at Havoc and said that you and I need to have another go at it. Havoc said yes, but the Menace interrupted and said that Havoc's future did not include a rematch. Homicide asked if you'd already figured out that I was out of your league. The Menace said I admit no such thing. You may not be in Havoc's future right now, but I am in your's, like it or not. Havoc did not look happy.
Natural Selection vs. Baltic Siege Estonian Thunderfrog defeated Shaun Ricker with a Disqualification Match Notes: Stu Stone had admitted in a local interview that he took the Siege lightly. Of course, he added, when they look that idiotic, you expect me to take them seriously?
The change in attitude was reflected in a much more competitive match. Cage, who had been the one most embarrassed last time, insisted on starting despite Stone's advice. It paid off as Cage got NS off to a strong start. The Siege came back and made it a very competitive match. The DQ came when Donovan Dijak interfered after it looked like Thunderfrog might pin Ricker.
- Family Stone - The Family Stone remained in the ring. Stu said that his guys would figure those two freaks out, beat them, and move on very soon. Cage said they're not beating us because they're better, it's because they're weirder. Dijak took the mic by force. He said that he saw the schedule for next week, and he's booked to open the show against JT Lightning again. He reiterated that he doesn't jerk curtains to open shows. He would not participate. Eric Bischoff entered the ring and said that if he skips out on that match, the fine will be tripled and he will be suspended for 90 days. Stone threw a wad of cash in Bischoff's face. He said that this should more than cover 10 times the first fine. He said his lawyers could keep a suspension tied up in court so long that Dijak will be retired by the time it comes down. Bischoff made a comment about how it sounded like Dijak was afraid of JT Lightning. Bischoff bailed out of the ring quickly as The Family Stone surrounded him.
Scorpio Sky vs. Petey Williams Petey Williams defeated Scorpio Sky with a Double Knee Facebuster Match Notes: This rematch from week 1 has delivered as the best in the early days of HoD. Action-packed from bell to bell. Solie was signing off as the pinfall was counted, and there was concern they might have to show the finish next week.

Despite being plagued by a serious DQ bug, this show delivered tons of hard hitting action...
Love the direction you're taking with The End's character... He is going to be a true force in this fed... With Necro Butcher running around like an animal off its leash, you've got the makings of two incredibly solid antagonists...
Homicide's verbal tirade was absolute gold... And he punctuated his commentary in brutal fashion with an assault on the Menace's man, Havoc... Sure, it resulted in a loss... Dues anyone care?
Williams and Sky performed well in the closer and it was cool seeing the Canadian Destroyer claim a big win...
Excellent angle development from start to finish... Can't wait for more!

I'm glad you are enjoying it. Tommy E. is going to be a slow build to the top whereas Sky, Williams, Black, and Dijak were slotted there from the start. Dijak is an interesting case. He's basically forcing his way to the top, and I'm going to "let: him do it just to see how things pan out. His first match with Black, arguably the strongest card in the early run of HoD, could've gone either way.
I can see End taking on a quasi-cult leader persona similar to Raven. However, with Ultramantis Black around, that's usually his MO, and I will be heading that direction. If End goes that way as well is TBD.
Menace and Homicide will be squaring off for a while. Another member of DMF is coming to be 'Cide's principle opponent. The relationship of my version of the DMF is going to be a bit different than in real life. Hyde and Necro will feud till MASADA returns. UMB will make his initial move. BLACKOUT and DST will go on for a while with the personnel involved expanding. Everything else is pretty much laid out for the first couple of months. I need to intro some more enhancement like Costa and Lightning so the same guys aren't wrestling all the time and I don't have pushed guys in meaningless matches. Excalibur was going to start off as enhancement, but I've already got a new direction in mind.

Heart of Dixie Episode 5 04.30.2000 from
- Opening Video w/ BLKOUT/DST response/Pre-1st match activities - The show opens with a video of BLKOUT at what appeared to be a party in a hotel room. The other guests were cut from the same cloth as Joker and Ruckus. There were scantily clad women, bottles of all sorts of alcohol, and several unidentifiable things lying about. Ruckus spoke, saying that if you take this to mean we aren't at the arena, you're right. This video was shot about 10 minutes ago about 3 states away. He said they are fully aware of HoD's ultimatum, and that's why they aren't there. They don't answer ultimatums. Let HoD fire them. There are 6 promoters they could call right now and have a match tonight. They won't get fired though, because this is pro wrestling and this kind of stuff happens all the time. They won't get fired because Da' Soultouchaz will beg HoD not to fire them, because if they do, then it will be harder for them to get their payback. Joker interrupts and asks "what payback? They will try to get whatever they think payback is, and then BLKOUT will give them a beating that will make what they did to Red and Dymond look like a picnic in the park." Ruckus asks if Dymond got the flowers they sent. He then holds up a picture of her and compares it to the girls in the room. One of the girls grabs the picture and rips it up, saying "that skank don't deserve you guys." Joker says he know they have a show to get to, but he has one more thing. They do feel bad for DST because they know they are at the arena screaming and hollering about what they will do the BLKOUT...if BLKOUT were there. They decided to help make DST feel better. They sent a trainee of their's to the arena. His name is BLK MOZE, and he wears a mask. MOZE isn't ready for Jaz or Rockett, but he might be a challenge for Red. He isn't very good, but Red can take it out on him until BLKOUT puts Red out of the business next week.
We cut to the ring, and DST w. Red are there pacing about. Bischoff asks them for a response. Red tells him to find this BLK MOZE clown and tell him to meet me in the ring whenever he's ready. I will send him back to BLKOUT in pieces.
DST clear the ring, and Bischoff and Solie offer the usual introductions. They send it back to the ring for the first match. Dijon's music plays, but he and Stone make their way to the ring without the usual flair. Stone says to cut the music. He says he's tired of HoD playing games with my man. He says to notice that Dijak is in street clothes. He says that he will say this for the last time. Donovan Dijak doesn't wrestle the prelims. He is a main-eventer and nothing else. Dijak speaks and says that he doesn't care what HoD tries to do to me as punishment. I will not comply. At that point, Tyler Black makes his way down the aisle with a mic. He says that he knows what Dijak's problem is....besides his piece of garbage manager. Dijak doesn't really believe all that he says about himself. He talks big, but he's an insecure little pup. Stone starts to talk, but Black tells him to shut up that he's talking to Dijak. Black says that he IS a legend. He's earned it, and even the fans that don't like him will acknowledge his accomplishments. I've read my clippings and I know everyone of them is 100% true. You hear what Stu-ey says, but you aren't sure you believe it. Dijak spoke up, saying that he knows exactly how good he is. Black says the sign of confidence is knowing that whatever match your in is the main event. Card placement doesn't matter. In the first match or the last, I'm the best guy in the match and on the show. You sweat the small stuff, he told Dijak. I barely sweat, Now, Black continued, the promoters HAD made a card change. You were supposed to wrestle JT Lightning, but the promoters changed it to you versus...me. Since you won't work opening matches, though, I guess....Stone and Dijak started yelling about getting Dijak's gear and coming back. Black said it happens now or it doesn't happen. These shows are well-oiled machines. We can't go messing with formats on a whim. Dijak told Stone to leave the ring and the ref to ring the bell. Black said I guess you will make the sacrifice, huh?
Donovan Dijak vs. Tyler Black Donovan Dijak defeated Tyler Black with The Dijection Match Notes: Black hit the ring at a sprint and took it to Dijak. Once again, the two put on an amazing match. Dijak hung with the veteran from bell to bell, even when it looked like Black might put him away. Stone stayed surprisingly quiet during this match, with only minimal involvement. In the midst of what looked like it might be a finishing run of moves from Black, Dijak picked him up out of nowhere and hit the Dijection for a close pinball. After the bell, Black offered Dijak a handshake, but Stone started yelling for him to slap it away. Dijak didn't slap it, but he walked off and turned his back on Black. Black took a mic and said that a true legend handles the wins and losses the same way. You don't handle either one very well. You've got a long way to go, kid.
Bruiser Costa vs. Tommy End Bruiser Costa defeated Tommy End with a Foreign Object Match Notes: Costa picks up his first win in controversial fashion. Just after the match begins, Johnny Saint comes and sits with Solie. He never adresses or acknowledges End in the ring. His presence drives End nuts. He is continually distracted by Saint, although at none of Saint's doing. Costa maintains a fair bit of offense throughout the match, benefiting from End's distracted state. Finally, Costa pulls something out of his trunks and blasts End when he turns back to the ring. The ref is admonishing Saint, who is totally innocent, so he sees none of this. When End comes to, Saint and Costa are both gone.
- C Red/BLK MOZE lead-up - Bischoff was about to introduce Ultramantis Black when a black male in a full bodysuit and black mask walked up. Speaking in a voice that sounded like Steve Urkel, he asked Bischoff if he could "direct me to the ring as I'm supposed to meet a Mr. Red C in a professional wrestling match." Bischoff said that assumes this person is BLK MOZE. The man said, very politely, that indeed he was. At this point, the ref walked up and said that C Red was waiting in the ring. MOZE asked the ref if he could follow him to the ring as he'd been walking around for an hour trying to find the right door. He then asked if the music guy got the 8-track tape he left for his entrance music. The ref said that the music guy didn't have access to an 8-track player, but that he would come up with something. When MOZE entered the arena, the theme from the TV show Family Matters started playing. MOZE listened for a minute, shrugged, and started this weird dance. Red and DST watched for as long as they could stand it, and then Jaz and Rockett went to MOZE, picked him up, and carried him to the ring. Jaz said "that's BLK JEEZ." BLK MOZE said that he wasn't BLK JEEZ but that he know Mr. BLK JEEZ and he is fine, upstanding fellow. Besides, BLK MOZE stands for Black Moses who is the Old Testament. Jesus was in the New Testament. He admonished them for not attending church enough. Red said he didn't care who it was under the mask, but if he was a friend of BLKOUT's then he had an ass-kicking coming. MOZE pointed at DST and said that he wasn't far enough along in his training to take on those two. Red said they won't interfere no matter what. MOZE said "you promise?" Red said, "I swear." MOZE said "you shouldn't swear, it's not nice." The ref rang there bell as DST left the ring.
BLK MOZE vs. C.Red BLK MOZE defeated C.Red with a Running Lariat Match Notes: It was obvious from the moment the bell rang that MOZE was no trainee. Red didn't seem to be fooled at all, but MOZE was just that much better. Several times, DST started to enter the ring, but Red waved them off, even in the middle of a strong beating. At one point, MOZE yelled out "Black Moses Walks," before executing a perfect inverted curb stomp. Finally, MOZE put Red away with a lariat. After the pin, MOZE jumped up, pointed at the downed Red, and said "Did I do that?" DST jumped in the ring to protect Red. MOZE shook the ref's and ring announcer's hand and danced his way to the back as his music played.
- Introduction of DixieSlam - Solie and Bischoff were in the interview area in front of a logo saying "DixieSlam." Bischoff said that they were proud to announce the first HoD supercard, DixieSlam, to be held in two weeks, Friday, May 5th. At this point, the following matches can be announced. There will be 2 rubber matches in the series between Tyler Black and Donovan Dijak, and the series between Petey Williams and Scorpio Sky. The winners of those two matches will be the top contenders for inaugural HoD Championship. In the tag team division, Baltic Siege have already beaten Natural Selection twice, they are a top contender already. HoD promoters are hesitant to put BLKOUT and DST on the air right now due to the animosity, so their second match will be at DixieSlam. Other matches will be revealed next week, and there will be at least 2 wrestlers debuting at the show.,
Ultramantis Black vs. Johnny Saint Ultramantis Black defeated Johnny Saint with a Praying Mantis Bomb Match Notes: UMB defeated Saint in under a minute. He left the ring as soon as the bell rang. Tommy End entered the ring. He tried to help Saint up but Johnny would have none of it. End told him that he's "lucky I'm being so nice to you. You cost me the match against Costa. Saint said that I didn't do anything but "talk to Mr. Solie. You were the one who couldn't stop yelling at me." End said that it didn't really matter because Saint humiliated himself again. He lost to UMB in under a minute. Saint said that he knows he's not what he used to be, but that he was enough for End. End said that it looks like we're going to find that out, but I'm going to give you one more chance to avoid being forcibly retired. He told Saint to announce his retirement next week on this show, or he would be forcibly retired at DixieSlam. You have 1 week to think about it. Saint said I don't need 1 second. I'll go when I'm ready, and it looks like you and I will be wrestling at DixieSlam. End said that if we meet at DixieSlam, there's going to be very little wrestling and a lot of pain infliction.
- Ultramantis Black - Bischoff stopped Ultramantis Black at ringside. He said that a few weeks back, Bruiser Costa asked UMB about forming a group in HoD. While Costa may have had the name wrong, he asked a valid question. Bischoff said that I'm posing it again. What are your plans for HoD in regards to an organization to back you up. UMB laughed and said that I will tell you what I told Costa. I reveal my plans when it suits me. However, you should feel lucky, because it suits me to tell you this. Next week, the first phase of my master plan begins, and it will begin in this ring. UMB turned and left.
DJ Hyde vs. Necro Butcher DJ Hyde defeated Necro Butcher with a Disqualification Match Notes: This match turned out exactly like everyone anticipated. Solie mentioned on commentary that Hyde had asked for a NO DQ match, but that HoD wasn't ready to let the potential for violence with these two men go on TV in a NO DQ setting. The match itself was a power brawl. The DQ could've come at any one of several points in the match, but the ref called it when the chain came out. Solid signed off with the two of them still fighting at ringside.

Heart of Dixie Episode 6 05.06.2000 from
- The Parking Lot - We open in the parking lot outside the arena. DST and Red are surrounded by members of a private security detail in full riot gear. There is another detail standing near the entrance to the arena. A second later, a limo pulls up and the second detail moves to the limo door as it slows. The driver gets out to open the door, but a security guard holds up his hand in a stop motion. A second guard opens the door of the limo. Two of the women from last week's party video climb out first. They flirt with the security guards who pay no attention. Ruckus and Joker climb out next, and DST and Red try to move towards them but are blocked by the detail around them. BLKOUT mock DST as they move to the front door. Bleeped profanities and censored gestures are passed between the two teams. Red is overheard asking why HoD is protecting those pieces of &^*%^. Finally, BLKOUT make their way through the front door of the arena. DST break away from their detail and enter the side door they were standing near. Their detail takes off after them. Red had been arguing with one of the guards and didn't see his team leave. About that time, the camera started fading out only to stop suddenly. As the driver was closing the door, a hand came out waving. A comical voice could be heard asking "hey, where'd everybody go?" and "Guys, wait up!" This drew Red's attention. As BLK MOZE was about halfway out of the door, Red, who had gotten a running start from a distance away, slammed into the limo door. MOZE leg was caught and he started shouting in a distinctly different voice. He fell out of the limo clutching the leg and cursing. Red started stomping the leg. He picked MOZE up with the intent of putting his head against the door jamb and slamming it, but one of the security guards pulled him off. The limo driver pushed MOZE back into the vehicle, rushed to the driver's spot, and pulled off.
Back inside the building, we find out that BLKOUT and DST have been sequestered in separate rooms on either side of the arena, and there is a detail guarding each door. Both teams will be wrestling tonight, but not against the other. HoD needs to move forward with establishing its tag team rankings, so tonight, BLKOUT will take on Baltic Siege and DST will take on Natural Selection. They said that Natural Selection would be at a disadvantage tonight, as Stu Stone was not here due to a death in the family.
Excalibur vs. Rex Havoc Rex Havoc defeated Excalibur with a KILL PREY Match Notes: Solie reminded us early on that this was Excalibur’s first appearance since the debut show due to Necro Butcher’s attack. The Dark Menace sat at the announcer’s table. Despite Solie’s attempts to get TDM to talk about the match, The Menace insisted on speaking cryptically about Homicide and his future in HoD. Specifically, he referred to Homicide not having a future in the promotion. He refused to go into any depth. Homicide joined the group at the table. His appearance allowed Excalibur to take control of the match for a period of time. Homicide told The Menace to ante up or fold, as he had been playing the game for a couple of weeks now, but it was getting old. He said he had his business to attend to, and he wasn’t going to wait on the Menace to “stop all the metaphysical “bs” and do whatever it is that you keep going on about.” Right then, Excalibur nailed Havoc with a dive right in front of the table. Homicide said that you better check on your boy, but TDM dismissed it with a wave. TDM said that this was no game, but if Homicide wanted to keep looking at it like that to be his guest. It would make phase 1 even easier. Homicide said that The Menace was trying to sound like some comic book super villain with his weird talking and “phases.” He added that the Menace had until next week’s show to make his move, or he was moving on to something more important. TDM said that you don’t have to wait that long. There was a contract in the HoD office for Homicide versus the infamous “mystery opponent” for DixieSlam. All he has to do is sign it. Homicide said that he was giving a verbal agreement right now, and that he would sign it Monday morning. TDM said, “its your funeral.” Homicide left the table. The match ended and Havoc joined Solie and TDM. He asked the Menace who he was wrestling at DixieSlam. The Menace said we would talk later. Solie picked up a sheet of paper and said that I’ve got the card right here, and you don’t seem to be on it. Havoc snatched the paper and looked it over, asking “who are these guys?” He turned to the Menace who held up his cane quickly and said, “it will be ok.” Havoc repeated, “it will be ok,” and immediately calmed down. TDM laughed and he and Havoc left the ringside area.
Homicide vs. Ultramantis Black Homicide defeated Ultramantis Black with an Ace Crusher Match Notes: These two put on a very good match. At the end, it couldve come down to either man. Homicide did use the fork, much to the crowds delight, and got away with it repeatedly.
After the bell, UMB went on a rampage at ringside. He was yelling about Homicide’s use of the fork and the incompetence of the referees among other things. Bischoff joined him at ringside. UMB said that “everybody wants to know what’s on my mind? Now is a good time to tell you.” He climbed back in the ring and called out Excalibur. He came to the ring. UMB addressed him, reminding him of Necro Butcher’s attack, of getting beat by Havoc just now, and how, when he watches this show later on, he will realize that they ignored him in the match he just had. All Solie could talk to was the Dark Menace and Homicide. Excalibur was meaningless. He said that he wanted to make Excalibur mean something. He referred to his just-completed match, and said that if Excalibur had been watching his back then Homicide wouldn’t have gotten away with trying to kill him with a fork. If he had been watching Excalibur’s back then Necro Butcher couldn’t have put him out for several weeks. They are stronger as a team than apart. He asked Excalibur to be the cornerstone of the next generation. Excalibur asked if they would be equal partners. UMB said, “Well, no. I’m in charge, but I will be fair and just.” Excalibur said he didn’t expect UMB to be so honest, but he appreciated it. UMB said that if you’ve seen the way I do business, then you really didn’t need to ask. The strong lead the-. Excalibur stopped him and said that he didn’t like where that sentence was going. He said that the answer to the question was always “no.” He doesn’t need UMB to get ahead in HoD. He admitted he was off to a slow start, but it was just the start. He will make himself relevant. He doesn’t need the help of someone who is barely relevant.
Scorpio Sky vs. JT Lightning Scorpio Sky defeated JT Lightning with a Disqualification Match Notes: Lightning gave Sky a better match than anyone expected, but the result was exactly as expected.
- DixieSlam Overview - Solie and Bischoff introduced a video segment with a rundown of the DixieSlam card. 1) Bruiser Costa vs. The debuting Sage Strong 2) JT Lightning vs. The debuting Andy Dalton 3) Tommy End vs. Johnny Saint 4) Necro Butcher vs. DJ Hyde in a Chain Match 5) Homicide vs. The Dark Menaces Mystery Opponent 6) Natural Selection vs. Baltic Siege 7) Petey Williams vs. Scorpio Sky 8) BLKOUT vs. Da Soultouchaz in a Street Fight 9) Donovan Dijak vs. Tyler Black Bischoff reminded everyone that Tommy End had given Saint until this show to answer his demand that Saint retire. Johnny had issued a statement earlier in the week that hes looking forward to teaching End to respect his elders, and is willing to break a limb to make sure End gets it. End replied that limbs will be broken.
The security detail surrounded DST as they made their way to the ring. Solie said that HoD had given the guards authorization to use whatever force was necessary to keep BLKOUT and DST from interfering in each other's matches.
Da' Soultouchaz vs. Natural Selection Acid Jaz defeated Brian Cage with a Remix Match Notes: Both teams looked strong, and the match was contested cleanly for the most part. However, NS' record continues to look a little lopsided in the "L" column.
After Natural Selection left, the guards escorted DST to the back. Baltic Siege came out first, then the second detail accompanied BLKOUT. Joker grabbed a mic and said that they'd been talking to their boy, MOZE. His leg was a little banged up, but he was fine. It could've been a lot worse, though. They know what Red was up to, and they don't appreciate it. Dymond got involved, so she got what she had coming. MOZE was just a doofus who couldn't find his way out of a stretch limo fast enough. Ruckus said they were "distracted," and actually forgot he was back there. He didn't deserve what Red did or was trying to do. He said that MOZE asked if he could be part of DixieSlam, and they said sure. BLKOUT would have three members now, and all would be wrestling. They didn't care if Red joined or not. DST's numbers didn't matter. BLKOUT would finish what they started at DixieSlam and then win the tag titles. That part starts right now with these weirdos.
Baltic Siege vs. BLKOUT Joker defeated Estonian Thunderfrog with a Joker-Plex Match Notes: BLKOUT picks up a convincing win. After the match, the security detail escorts BLKOUT from the ring. One of the guards hangs back and breaks away from the group, returning to the ring. He climbs in the ring and comes up behind Proud Oak, who is tending to his downed partner. He taps Oak on the shoulder, and when the Siege member stands and turns, the guard slams him in the throat with his riot stick. Oak immediately starts spitting blood from his mouth. The guard gives him two more shots to the side of the head and Oak collapses. The Guard runs from the ring and exits through the crowd as other guards from the detail return to the ring to see what’s going on.
