House Show #3 06.09.2000 from
Latvian Proud Oak vs. Frightmare Latvian Proud Oak defeated Frightmare with a Countout Match Notes: Rather flat ending as Ultramantis Black came to the ring and both he and Frightmare walked away from the match.
Dick Justice vs. Necro Butcher Necro Butcher defeated Dick Justice with a Necro Bomb Match Notes: Justice almost gained the upset, but it wasn't enough.
Before Costa got to the ring for the next match, Borash put a cigar in Costa's corner. After the introductions, Borash said that Costa was being seconded tonight by one of The Crusher's Macanudos. Costa looked confused till he saw the cigar. He flipped out and start looking everywhere, under the ring, amongst the fans, etc. The Hobo walked over, picked up the cigar and lit it with Borash's help. Costa had gone under the ring. When he came out and smelled the cigar, he turned white. He slowly looked in the ring. When he saw Hobo smoking the cigar he jumped in the ring and charged Hobo.
Bruiser Costa vs. The Hobo Bruiser Costa defeated The Hobo with a Neck Snap Match Notes: Costa's picked up the win rather easily. After the pin, he found the cigar lying on the floor outside the ring. He put it in his mouth and strutted around, imitating the Crusher. He left the ring after sprinkling some ashes on the Hobo.
Latvian Proud Oak came to the ring with Baltic Siege for the next match, but after a brief discussion he returned to the back.
The Experience vs. Baltic Siege v2 Scorpio Sky defeated Estonian Thunderfrog with an Argle Bargle Match Notes: Like many teams, the Experience seemed to take the Siege lightly and it almost cost them. After the pin, the Experience left. Proud Oak returned to assist his teammates, but Frog and Troll seemed to pay him little attention.
Andy Dalton vs. DJ Hyde Andy Dalton defeated DJ Hyde with a Piledriver Match Notes: After the pin, Dalton got on a mic. He said that when they challenged each other on TV, it was just to see who is better. "After three matches, it should be clear. I won two of them without a lot of trouble, and lost the other by DQ because I got bored and wanted to see what would happen if I bounced your big melon off the floor with a piledriver. We're done Hyde. I'm better."
Homicide vs. Rex Havoc Homicide defeated Rex Havoc with a Fork Match Notes: The Menace was at ringside with Havoc, but showed no interest in Havoc. He fixated on Homicide, but never interfered. However, as soon as the ref counted three, Rayne hit the ring. Homicide ducked a clotheslines off an Irish Whip and slid out of the ring. He waved bye at The DMF as he walked off.
The Bravado Brothers vs. Da' Soultouchaz Marshe Rockett defeated Lancelot Bravado with a Disqualification Match Notes: The Bravados still look solid, but their decline continues.
- No Disqualification - Crossbones vs. Excalibur Excalibur defeated Crossbones with a Tiger Driver '98 Match Notes: Excellent match, Long but never boring with one big move after another. The crowd seemed to be lookiing for UMB or Frightmare, but neither put in an appearance.

Heart of Dixie Episode 11 06.10.2000 from
- Opener - We open with a video of Bill Watts recovering in his home. Eric Bischoff is with him. Eric asks Watts if he was of sound mind when he sanctioned MASADA to use any means necessary to take out Necro Butcher. Watts replied that he readily admits that he was not, and that he still isn't...and he's very happy about it. "As weird as it sounds, it gave me the clarity to do what I had to do. The real me wouldn't have allowed this in a hundred years. The Bill Watts that's pissed off because I can't take care of this myself, because I need someone to stand-in for me...that me is so damn clouded with rage that I don't have to think twice about making the call I did."
We are in the ring for the first match with Michael Kai Rayne and The Dark Menace. Jeremy Borash introduces them, and then introduces Rayne's opponent, Mister X. When X walks through the door, TDM and Rayne lose it. The fans start to laugh. Unlike the "Mister X" Rayne defeated last week, this Mister X is smaller, tattooed, and...black. He's wearing a bandanna over the lower part of his mask. The Menace grabs the mic from Borash and starts screaming about Mister X being Homicide. He tells Borash that "HoD tricked us. They said Mister X wanted a rematch. This contract was signed under bogus conditions and we will not stand for it." Borash asks the truck to play the video that aired on HoDWrestling.com. In the video, TDM says that "... informed that Mister X had asked for a match. "Enhancement" don't ask for rematches. X's mask must be too tight, but if he wants a rematch then he can have a rematch." Borash says that "you were only told Mister X wanted a match. YOU said rematch, Menace. If you bail on this match, there will be repercussions and your cane is off the table." TDM got in "Mister Xs" face and started chewing him out. Rayne attacked X from behind, and the bell rang.
Michael Kai Rayne vs. "Mister X" Michael Kai Rayne defeated "Mister X" with a Disqualification Match Notes: Rayne got Xs mask twisted part of the way, and it affected the masked man's ability. Rayne controlled the early match. Finally, X left the ring long enough to get it adjusted, and the tide started to turn. TDM moved to the table with Solie and said that if they can prove it's Homicide then he will make sure he's suspended for a long time for misrepresenting himself on a contract. TDM also got on a cell phone and made a call. A minute later, Rex Havoc came to ringside. After X caught Rayne with a move indentical to Homicide's Gringo Killa, TDM drew the ref's attention and Havoc made a save. Later, Rayne took back over and threw X to the floor. TDM got in Xs face and ripped into him again. This time, X caught TDM with a hard left and knocked him out. This energized X and he charged back in the ring, completely dominating Rayne. The ref finally called for the DQ after X wouldn't let up on the illegal moves. Mister X quickly left ringside.
Petey Williams vs. Jake Milliman Petey Williams defeated Jake Milliman with a Canadian Destroyer Match Notes: Williams dismantles Milliman as expected. After the match, he gets a mic. He says that he should be 1 of the co-#1 contenders for the HoD Title, but he's not. Scorpio Sky is, and it's thanks to his buddy, Joey Ryan. He tells Sky that his money's on Tyler Black, and when Sky is an afterthought in the title picture then he's going to use Sky as a stepping-stone. "If Sky is a stepping stone, then Joey Ryan is his tiny little pebble of a stooge. I'm going to crush that pebble before breaking the stone. There's a big show coming up in about three weeks called Hot Southern Night. If Ryan has an ounce of integrity, he will sign a contract for that date."
Andy Dalton vs. Dick Justice Andy Dalton defeated Dick Justice with a Piledriver Match Notes: Dalton wins a good match. He leaves the ring without speaking.
- Hot Southern Night Intro - Gordon, Eric, and Bill Apter are in a fancy looking meeting room. Gordon says that the fans have heard the wrestlers talk about an event called Hot Southern Night. This will be held on the evening of Tuesday,, July 4th. Some of the matches already signed include
Tyler Black vs. Donovan Dijak in a cage. The winner will be the other co-#1 contender. This was originally to have been the main. However, HoD has decided to put the ultraviolent clash between MASADA and Necro Butcher on top of the card. This will allow anyone who does not want to exposed to this type of action to leave after the cage match. The exact stips are unknown at this time. Also, on the card will be The Crusher vs. Bruiser Costa, and Homicide vs. Michael Kai Rayne with TDM's cane on a pole. More matches will be announced in the coming weeks, and the last word on the HoD Tag Team Championship will be given next week.
Before the next bout, Marshe Rockett and Ruckus were handcuffed together. They did remain at ringside. C Red and Dymond were out.
Acid Jaz vs. Joker Joker defeated Acid Jaz with a Cambo Wizard Match Notes: Joker gets a clean win in a good match. At the moment of the pin, Ruckus shoved Rockett into the ring pole face first. Rockett's head and nose busted open. Ruckus pulled a key or something out of his boot and unlocked himself from the cuffs. Joker continued to beat on Jaz. He threw Jaz over the top rope and Ruckus drug Rockett next to Jaz. He then put the open cuffs on Jaz. BLKOUT began a beatdown of DST which went on until DJ Hyde and Petey Williams made the save.
- Last Man Standing - Johnny Saint vs. Tommy End Tommy End defeated Johnny Saint with a Dragon Slayer Match Notes: Saint came to the ring walking more gingerly than usual. End made fun of him as he came to the ring. Arik Cannon was with Saint, but per the contract he returned to the back. Whether Saint was laying a trap for End or if the adrenaline rush helped overcome how he was feeling we will never know. Whatever the reason, Saint looked like a new man in the ring. He outwrestled End all over the ring. He tied End in knots and had him winded quickly. The crowd was going wild for Saint. End finally managed to break Saint's string of chain-wrestling and pick up the pace. End came roaring back and Saint was quickly in trouble. Saint then slowed it down again and the crowd thought it might be over for End. Almost in desperation, End hit two high impact moves in row with his Dragon Slayer being the one that finished Saint off. He was unable to answer a 10-count. The crowd gave both men a standing ovation. Arik came to the ring to be his mentor. The cameras faced on the scene of both exhausted men being tended to by medical personnel.

Oh, snap! 'Mister X' had the Menace's minion right where he wanted him... MK Rayne was lucky to get outta there alive... Was almost CERTAIN we were gonna witness a HOMICIDE!
Stellar main event with The End coming out on top... Saint put up an excellent fight, giving the fans just what they wanted... Could not imagine a better bookend for this rivalry...
Some great in-ring action and I really like the build-up for HoD's Hot Southern Night... Expecting Black to triumph over Dijak inside the cage... Masada and Necro Butcher is going to be off the chain... Will either man be considered a 'winner' by the time they're done beating each other senseless?
Awesome stuff!

The following appeared on HoDWrestling.com the week of 6/11/00
A video featuring Tyler Black. He says he's enjoyed Japan, but he's ready to get back to the US and to HoD. This message is being recorded in a room at an arena where he just beat none other than Jushin "Thunder" Liger to win a very prestigious tournament. By the time the fans see this, he will be home or very close. He says he wants to talk about The Family Stone Gauntlet Challenge. "To call it a gauntlet is an insult to gauntlets, though," he continues, "warriors wear gauntlets. Guys who fight where them. We're now calling it the Family Stone Little White, Dainty, Frilly Gloves That Old Rich Women Used To Wear Challenge. Yea, that seems more appropriate. Nobody would ever confuse Ricker or Cage with warriors...Dijak maybe if he ditches Stuey. Little white frilly gloves seems more their style." He calls out Brian Cage and says not to be insulted that I picked you first. He says he wasn't picking "you guys in reverse order of your competency in the ring...oh, who am I kidding. Yes, I was. Cage, you're the weakest link and I'm going to snap you first. Ricker is slightly tougher and I may break a sweat. Dijak, that's going to be a Hell of a match with you and I in that cage. I will win, though, and then beat Scorpio down the road for the HoD title. I'm a simple man with simple plans. Hey Dijak, you pissed about getting screwed out of another main event." Black almost falls over laughing. He says he's cool with it, because he can sit back and watch MASADA dissect Necro. He knows it really has to give Dijak a lot of heartburn. Black tells the viewers that Saturday can't come soon enough, but now he has to go because he has a plane to catch.
In a news and notes segment, Apter reports that both Tommy End and Johnny Saint suffered injuries in their match. Saint hasn't been released to fly yet, but will be returning to the UK as soon as he is able. Saint isn't calling anything a retirement yet, but their will be extensive rehab. End will also need extended recuperation. His only message was to Arik Cannon. It was, "One shot, Cannon..one shot. July 4th. You'd better bring the entire British navy with you or your little country will take another ass-whipping on July 4th."
Da'Soultouchaz are recovering from the attack by BLKOUT, but are not expected to miss any time. HoD has signed a match for Hot Summer Night between these two teams, and it will be their last match. There is a strong possibility that the match will also determine the first HoD Tag Team Champions. That decision will be announced this Saturday.
The Family Stone posted their video. Stu opened with a shout-out to Necro Butcher and a "good job on Buffalo Billie. If you need representation, call me." At that point, Apter appeared on the video with two security guards. Apter said that Stu would have to leave since he's still suspended and isn't even supposed to be in the office. His guys are fine since they need to promote the match. Stu pointed at the cameraman and said, "turn it off." The cameraman replied with a "yes, sir," and the picture went dark and then immediately came back on. The Family didn't notice. Stone and his guys argued with the security men, and Apter said if you don't leave then we cancel the shoot. If you don't assist in promoting the match, then we alter the purse as per the standard contract. Stu asked if they could have a second. Apter said "thirty." They conversed in whispers, and then Stone said "ok, let's go." The camera immediately went dark. A second later it came up on the Family Stone who looked as if nothing had just happened. Cage and Ricker start shouting about being the weak link and the slightly-less weak link. Finally, Dijak yells for them both to shut up. He says this is going to hurt, but they know it's true. Their matches with Black don't matter. His match, the REAL main event, is the only match that matters in HoD right now. Those two no-talent thug punks, Necro Bitcher and Masturbate, will be killing each other in an empty arena because nobody will want to watch that &^^& after watching him destroy their hero, Tyler Black. Then he will move on to Scorpio Sky and the experience will grind to a crashing halt. He tells Cage and Ricker that he hopes they can get the job done during their turns with Black. Dijak doesn't need their help, and he's not expecting it. It would be a nice gesture since they are family and all that. Dijak walks off leaving his teammates looking confused and annoyed.

Heart of Dixie Episode 12 06.17.2000 from
- Opener - Bischoff and Solie are giving the traditional greeting to the fans when Petey Williams runs up. He whispers something in Solie's ear. Solie turns back to the camera and offers a grim, "let's go to the ring for our first match."
JT Lightning vs. Manimal JT Lightning defeated Manimal with a Direct Effect Match Notes: Lightning defeats the debuting Manimal with relative ease. He's just too quick for the larger, slower opponent and is able to negate Manimal's strength. Solie seems distracted on commentary throughout the match.
- Report on Tyler Black - Bischoff explains to the audience the reason for his colleague's lack of usual precision while calling a match. During the opener, when Petey Williams interrupted, he had some disturbing news. Tyler Black had been on his way to the arena, and he stopped for gas. As he returned to his car from the convenience store, he was attacked by two men wearing masks. The attack didn't last long, but they inflicted heavy damage. An employee in the stockroom heard the commotion and called emergency services. As he was checking on Black, Tyler told him to get his cellphone out of the car and call P. Williams. The employee stayed on the line until emergency services showed up. The line went dead, and the phone is now going to voice mail. HoD has sent two reps on the road to retrace what they think Black's route would've been. The person who called Williams was rather upset, and did not give a clear location. Bischoff said the current main event match between Black and Brian Cage is likely off. He or Solie will give updates as they arrive.
Frightmare vs. Excalibur Frightmare defeated Excalibur with a Kneecolepsy Match Notes: A short, but competitive match. After the pin, Ultramantis Black hits the ring and joins Frightmare in a beatdown. It doesn't last long, though, as a new masked man appears for the save. He helps Excalibur up. Excalibur tries to talk, but can't. The newcomer takes the mic, points to himself, and says "Samuray Del Sol. His friend. I have his back always." Samuray helps Excalibur to the back.
- Tyler Black Update - Bischoff reports that Black himself finally answered his phone. Bischoff calls in Petey Williams. Williams says that Black is pretty messed up, but he is able to communicate. Black said, "It was the Family." Petey reports that an EMT took the phone and said that "your friend isn't cooperating. He refuses to go to the hospital. He wants a ride to the arena where you guys are wrestling." Petey said he heard shouting in the background, the EMT on the phone said, "oh, ," and the line went dead again. That's the last he's heard. At this point,. Brian Cage walks up laughing hysterically. "Is that the best Black can do? Attacked by two masked men at a Stop n' Go? What a coward. He needs to admit that he's all talk, and that he never had any intention of following though on this challenge of his. He's like all those internet dweebs who like to talk crap about people from the safety of their keyboard. If you met them face-to-face they would piss themselves. Black just pissed himself." Williams got in Cage's face and the two started shoving. Bischoff called for a commercial.
DJ Hyde vs. The Hobo The Hobo defeated DJ Hyde with a Disqualification Match Notes: Hyde was in total control of the match and headed to an easy win when he suddenly "snapped" and commenced to beating up the Hobo. The ref didn't let it go long before calling for the DQ. Hyde acted like he was going to attack the ref, but finally just turned away and stormed back to the dressing room.
- Black Update 2 - Solie apologizes to the fans for taking time away from their other favorite wrestlers. They did have other interviews and such planned, but the Tyler Black situation has taken up the time. He's about to introduce Dick Justice when Bischoff walks up and says that the situation has gotten really wild. The two HoD reps looking for Black finally found the right convenience store. Black and the EMTs were still there, and the EMTs were about to pack up and leave. The reps identified themselves, and the EMTs said there's nothing else they can do here. Black isn't in immediate danger, but he needs more tests run. If he refuses to go to the hospital, then they're done. The rep told Bischoff that Black, who was sitting on the curb, jumps up and gets in the car that the reps had driven. The keys were in the ignition, so Black cranks up the car and drives off. Based on what he told the EMTs, he's headed to the arena. Unfortunately, when he peeled out of the store parking lot, he went the wrong way. The EMTs called the police, as they did not feel Black was in any condition to drive.
The Experience vs. Baltic Siege v2 Estonian Thunderfrog defeated Joey Ryan with a Disqualification Match Notes: Bischoff joins Solie at the announce table. They don't talk a lot about the match itself. They do get in one piece of information. HoD has just signed for Hot Southern Night, the final battle between BLKOUT and Da' Soultouchaz. However, the difference is that this match will be for the HoD Tag Team Championship. Furthermore, because it's a final battle, the losing team will not get a rematch. They are joined by Brian Cage who is still mocking Black. He continues to insist the attack is a lie. The guys pretending to be EMTs on the phone are Black's friends, and the two HoD reps are in on it to protect their favorite son. Petey Williams shows up again. He tells Cage to get his gear on because Black's headed this way. Cage says Black has no intention of fighting me.
We come back from commercial break and we see a split screen. One side shows Brian Cage, in street clothes, in the ring. The other shows the front entrance parking lot to the arena. Petey Williams gets in the ring and says, "Two minutes away." Cage tells the ref to start a count. The ref refuses. Bill Apter comes to the ring and tells the ref that he does have to count. The ref starts counting slowly. Cage counts very fast from one to twenty over and over. He berates the ref. At ten, we see a car come squealing in to the parking lot. There is a police car right behind it. The first car drives up on the curb and Black gets out. He runs/stumbles to the front door. Eric Bischoff is outside and he stops the cop who has exited his car. The crowd goes wild as Black enters the arena still in his street clothes. The split screen goes to one picture as Black climbs into the ring at 18.
Tyler Black vs. Brian Cage Tyler Black defeated Brian Cage with a Cross-Body Off Turnbuckle Match Notes: Cage immediately attacks him. Cage stays in control for a long time and gets several nearfalls. Black is out on his feet. Cage takes Black to the top of the turnbuckle, but Black pushes him off. He hits one of his high-flying moves, sticking it perfectly. He takes over the match, outwrestling and outflying Cage. Solie truly can't believe that a man who could barely walk to the ring a few minutes ago could be doing what Black's doing now with such precision. On top of that, Black hits a basic cross-body off the turnbuckle for the winning pin. While on top of the turnbuckle, Black almost lost his balance and fell off.
Cage couldn't believe it. Petey Williams immediately got in the ring and protected Black. Cage looked like he was going to attack anyhow, but backed off. The ring fillled with medical personnel, Eric Bischoff, and the cop. He was taken to the locker roon on a gurney, accompanied by the cop.

Love the dramatics surrounding Cage vs Black... Can't wait to see the inevitable fallout...
Also very excited about the arrival of Samuray Del Sol... He will make an excellent partner for Excalibur...
Truly entertaining, my friend... Excellent work!

The following were posted on HoDrestling.Com the week of 6/18/2000
Tyler Black and Petey Williams
Black: âConcussions suck, you know it? This isnât the first time Iâve been concussed before, but all the other times it was me doing something I wanted to be doing. I meant to be there and knew the risks. Iâve never had a concussion because two piece of shit cowards decided to jump me from behind and play soccer with my brain. Ricker and DijakâŚdid you really think I wouldnât recognize you? The funny thing is, thatâs all remember was knowing it was them, protecting their little buddy Brian. You didnât get the job done, boys, because I kicked your little buddieâs ass! And I donât remember one second of it. I left the motel headed to the arena and woke up in a hospital bed with this guy asleep in the chair After the nurses and doctors do all their fiddling with me, Peter tells me what happened. I looked at him and said that it was Ricker and Dijak. Pete says that I told him that on the phone before I passed out for the 100th time. Brian Cage, Iâm going to say this again, punk, and you listen-I kicked your ass and I was only half-conscious! Damn, Iâm good. I could barely stand up and I defeated a grown man in a wrestling match. Mind you, that âgrownâ man was Brian Cage and although he barely counts, he does count. Now, Have a problem. I really wanted to handle this deal with Stoneâs crew by myself. Iâm smart enough to know when I need help and man enough to ask for it. HoD wonât clear me to wrestle, as Iâm still concussed. Iâm supposed to wrestle Shaun Ricker this Saturday. As it stands now, I canât. I can already here Ricker talking about me faking the injury to get out of the match. How Iâm the cowardâŚYouâre the coward, Ricker. You. When itâs your turn Ricker, go ahead and say it. The people know the truth. Anyhow, that doesnât solve my problem because you are not getting the satisfaction of forcing me out the match. Not happening. Period. I talked to HoD, and we came up with a compromise. Iâve signed a release that says if anything happens to me in that match, HoD is off the hook. Iâm cool with that. Hereâs the fun part. Iâm going to make it a tag match. Cage, you get to show up after all. You two are going to be taking on me and this man right here. Dijak, youâre still suspended until the night I cheese-grater your face on the cage wall. You can sit and rot for all I care. Right now, itâs about me, my boy P.W., and your wimpy kid brothers. Brian and Shaun, you thought you were putting me out? You were just fanning the flames, punks.â
Brian Cage and Shaun Ricker are together.
Cage: Tyler Black, go to Hell. There is no way you did what you did last Saturday without help. The ref couldâve counted you out 100 times before he got to 5, and when you supposedly pinned me, that count was so fast the three slaps sounded like one. HoD is biased against the Family Stone and it ends Saturday. Youâll wish you listened to your doctor. When Natural Selection gets through with you, a concussion will be the least of your worries. Ricker: The people will know the truth, Black? Who cares what the people think they know. These people, the fans, are cretins. Theyâre mindless zombie sheep lapping up whatever HoD forces in their face. I know for a fact, that you are not concussed and never were. This is an excuse for why Brian came this close to beating you, and why youâre scared to face me one-on-one. Youâre pathetic Black, and Williams? Youâre a piece a crap for helping him. Weâre going to beat two of these sheepâs favorite wrestlers in one match. Hell, weâre going to embarrass two of their favorites-
At this point, Donovan Dijak walks up-
Dijak: Whatâs going on? I take 3 minutes to take a call from Stu and when I turn around you guys are off cutting a promo. What gives? Couldnât wait two minutes? Cage: Honestly, Big D, the only thing Black said in his promo that was right was that this Saturday isnât about you. Dijak: Where Family Stone business is concerned, itâs always about me. Got it! Ricker: Calm down, brother. Weâre just blowing off some steam here. Black accused me and you of being the ones who jumped him. Dijak: That little- Ricker: Itâs fine. Look, B and I will start breaking him down even more this Saturday, and you finish him off in the cage, cool? Listen, me and B got some stuff to take care off, so we will see you later. Hey, camera guy, make sure everything after D comes out gets edited out before itâs posted. Got it? Cage and Ricker walk off leaving Dijak looking confused.

The following was posted on HoDWrestling.com later in the week of 6/18/00
We see Homicide under a bridge with a group of street people. They are standing over an oil drum fire. He walks over to the camera. Homicide: Michael Kai Rayne, the man who wonât take a crap without his ownerâs permission. You pay him to treat you like that? I wonât even talk about poor olâ Rex. The Dork Menace has that dude so twisted up he donât know left from right, and heâs stealing his damn pay. It really doesnât sit good with me that I havenât been able to pin that wannabe, Rayne. It shouldnât bother me too much, though. I get DQd before I get a chance to pin him. The DQ comes cause theyâre afraid Iâll beat his ass so hard he ends up in a hospital. At Hot Southern Night, there wonât be any DQs. I can do whatever I want- At this point, one of the street people yelled at Homicide that the fire was getting low. âCide bent down and picked up something that, at quick glance, looked like the cane. He tossed it to the man who spoke, and that man tossed it in the drum. Homicide: Well, damn. Menace, Iâm really sorry. Did you see what I did there? My bad. Thought it was a black stick. Why there would be a black stick under a bridge in Downtown Philly I donât know. My bad, guys, my bad. I better go see if I can save it...
The full card for this Saturdayâs HoD Wrestling show is: Homicide vs. Mister X Joey Ryan vs. The Hobo Ruckus vs. Harlem Bravado Samuray Del Sol vs. Ultramantis Black Tyler Black/Petey Williams vs. Natural Selection

Heart of Dixie Episode 13 06.24.2000 from
- Opening - We open with a replay of Homicide's video with him "accidently" burning the cane. Then, we're in the ring with The Dark Menace Forces. TDM: That act of clumsiness just cost you a shot at Michael Kai Rayne, Homicide. That cane was valuable, yes, but money means nothing to me. I'm above mundane things like wealth. Did I want it back? I did. I've moved on. I know you haven't. It still bugs you that you can't pin Mr. Rayne. Not haven't, mind you, but can't. You are inferior to him in every way. Now, you will never get that last shot to try. I know people like you. You thought you would win this one. You would've failed again, In fact, you should be thanking me. I've saved you a lot of embarrassment.
Homicide's music hits and he come to the ring.
Homicide:Mr. Menace, you're really over the loss of your cane? The thing you whined about for weeks? All of a sudden it doesn't matter? I don't believe you, and I'll prove it. I didn't throw your cane in that oil can. I painted up an old wooden rod I had laying around. You fell for it.
TDM: I was fully aware of your juvenile prank. My point stands, however. The cane is just a cane.
Homicide: Really? Well, let's see how you feel about this. It's here, tonight, in this arena.
TDM and the Forces gave Homicide their full attention.
Homicide: You guys really perked up when I said it was here. Thought you didn't care.
TDM: Well, uh, if it is available..I would like to reclaim it.
The Menace pulled Rayne and Havoc into a huddle. They conferred briefly and then the two wrestlers left the ring in opposite directions.
TDM: Find it, my Forces!
Homicide: Putting a lot of effort into something you don't care about. Don't matter. They won't find it.
TDM closed his eyes briefly.
TDM: It is near. I can sense it.
Homicide: Well go sense it somewhere else. I've got a match.
The Dark Menace left and Mister X was announced. When he got to the ring, Homicide put his arm around X.
Homicide: How can I be him if we're in the same place at the same time? Brothers from other mothers. Hold on. I'll make a permanent record.
'Cide went and borrowed a cell phone from a fan. He returned to the ring and took a selfie with he and X. As soon as the pic snapped, Homicide spun and clotheslines X. He returned the camera to the fan.
Mister X vs. Homicide Mister X defeated Homicide with a Da Gringo Killa Match Notes: After Homicide's cheap shot, X put up little resistance.
- Crossbones & Ruckus promos - Bischoff is with Crossbones. Eric announces that one of the matches for Hot Southern Night will be a 3-way tag team match with Excalibur and Samuray Del Sol vs. Ultramantis Black & Frightmare vs. Crossbones and-who? Crossbones says that he can't play his hand too early. He and UMB used to run in the same circles, and UMB has a lot of influence in those circles. He's been burned a lot lately, and he had to get someone he could trust. His partner will be a secret until July 4th. Bischoff asks him why he refused to ally with Excalibur? Crossbones said that "the enemy of my enemy is just another enemy to me."
Next, Ruckus came up alone. Erica asked him about his match later in the show with Harlem Bravado. Ruckus said that Joker didn't come out here with me because he thinks I'm being foolish. He thinks I'm not focused on Da' Soultouchaz and the titles. He's right, I'm not. We've shown we can beat those fools any time we want. Bischoff asked him "why Harlem Bravado of all people?" Ruckus said that I brought this up the first time we wrestles those boys. Everybody thought I was being funny so they didn't pay any attention. I said what in the Hell is that pasty white boy doing names Harlem? Now, I know that's not his real name, but what the hell kind of ring name is that. That cracka' names himself after the most famous, most baddest 'hood in the world? What's up with that? So, I decided to do something about it. Now, this match ain't goin' to have no stip where he has to change his name or anything. If Crusher and Costa want to play there, go for it. I just want that Bravado Brother, see I can't even say the name, to think about the beating I'm about to give him every time he hears his name. He could've been Atlanta Bravado, or Tuscaloosa Bravado, but no, he had to go pick Harlem. Stupid little kid.
Joey Ryan vs. The Hobo Joey Ryan defeated The Hobo with a Disqualification Match Notes: The Hobo was disqualified for going after Scorpio Sky who did not accompany Ryan to the ring, but did show up mid-match. Of course, Hobo's actions only came after Sky had been harassing him when the ref wasn't looking. Ryan made sure the ref saw Hobo take a swipe at Sky, however.
Ryan got on the mic. He said that he wanted to talk about Petey Williams at Hot Southern Night, because Petey sure wasn't talking about Joey Ryan. He reminded everyone how Petey had gotten caught up in this deal with Tyler Black and the Family Stone. "I'm the one you should be worried about, Petey. If this is some mind game you're trying to play by letting me think you don't care about our match, it is failing. I cost you an HoD title match. Petey. Get your focus where it belongs."
- Bruiser Costa & DJ Hyde Promos - In the next segment, Bischoff is with Bruiser Costa. He asks Costa about acting tough when he thinks Crusher's not around. Costa says he know Crusher's not around. He's been tracking Crusher's schedule, and he knows he isn't schedule to fly from Milwaukee until the morning of the 4th at 8:14a on Delta Flight 9273. Bischoff says that Crusher will be thrilled to know your cyberstalking him. Costa says that "I don't know what that means, but if it means training to kick his ass, then yea, I'm cyberstalking Crusher." Bischoff looks over Costa's shoulder and calmly says (to empty air), "Hi, Crusher." Costa bolts without even turning around. Bischoff says, "skittish, isn't he?"
DJ Hyde walked up next. He said he had some stuff on his mind. Bischoff asked him if it has anything to do with what happened during his match with the Hobo last week. Hyde looked at him and asked, "what did you see happen." Bischoff said that "you had a win well within your grasp, and you lost by DQ because you lost your composure. What happened?" Hyde said he didn't lose anything. He didn't REALLY lose the match despite what the record books will say. I know when I'm better than somebody. I just had a run against Andy Dalton that didn't go like I wanted, but I'm still better. I don't need to pin the Hobo to prove I'm better. At this point in the interview, a commotion started just off-camera. The camera swung that way, and we see Rex Havoc bent over a laundry cart tossing out towels and such. He's yelling about finding the cane. Hyde yells for the camera to get back over here, and tries to continue talking. Havoc keeps up the commotion. After a few seconds, Hyde walks off. The camera follows, and we see Hyde come up behind Havoc. He grabs his ankles and flips him into the cart so his legs are sticking up and waving about. Hyde then shoves the cart into a stack of pallets, and they come crashing down on the cart and Havoc. Hyde walks up to the cameraman, asks him if he got that, and then pie-faces the camera man.
Ruckus vs. Harlem Bravado Ruckus defeated Harlem Bravado with a Poetic Ruckus Match Notes: Lancelot Bravado and Joker were both at ringside, and they both got involved. All in all, a not-very-exciting match. Ruckus fared much better, as Harlem looked completely lost at times. At a couple of times in the match, he tried to "tag out" to his brother on at ringside.
- Arik Cannon - Cannon says that he will be making his HoD debut on next Saturday's show. He says that Johnny Saint is still recovering and won't make any decisions about the future yet. He doesn't think Tommy End got the job done, but if it makes End feel better about himself then he's welcome to think he did. He's aware that End has said that July 4th will be their only match, but he thinks End will be demanding some rematches after Cannon beats him. He says, "Remember Tommy, the only-one-match thing works two ways."
Ultramantis Black vs. Samuray Del Sol Samuray Del Sol defeated Ultramantis Black with a Rising Sun Match Notes: Excalibur and Frightmare are at ringside. They seem to cancel one another out as the are a non-factor. Frightmare tried to get on the apron at one point, but Excalibur pulled him off and ran him away from the ring.

Solie added that the pole match is contingent on the DMF not finding the cane in the next few minutes. Somehow, he doesn't think they will.
Tyler Black's walk to the ring tipped people off that something wasn't right. Petey showed a lot of energy, but it appeared to be an effort to pull attention away from Black. In the ring, Black went and stood in the corner, not acknowledging anyone or anything.
Tyler Black & Petey Williams vs. Natural Selection Brian Cage defeated Petey Williams with a Discus Lariat Match Notes: Petey started out against Ricker, and was dominated. Williams never looked to Black, who looked as if he wasn't even watching the match. Ricker tagged in Cage who ended up an offensive run with a discus lariat for the pin. The crowd was hushed. Natural Selection mocked Black on the ring apron, but as soon as they moved towards him the the ring filled up. They threw their hands up in disgust and left.
