Heart of Dixie Episode 47 (A Night of Hate) 02.17.2001 from
- Opening Segment - After welcoming the crowd to "A Night of Hate," Bischoff sends it to the ring. Borash introduces Ricker and Dijak. Ricker takes the mic from him. Immediately, Ultramantis Black comes to the entrance. He warns Ricker not to say what he's about to say. Ricker tells him to come do something about it, and Dijak backs up Ricker's challenge. Ricker announces that this match is for the HoD Outsiders Championship, or, as he puts it, The Real HoD Championship. UMB says that all the Outsiders have made a terrible mistake in associating themselves with this farce. Kevin Sullivan is the HoD Champion, and would destroy any of the pathetic outsiders. Ricker and Dijak tell him to send Sullivan out. UMB says that they will be dealt with. Ricker says that The Cosmic Disaster need to shut up with these threats until they are going to try and do something to back them up. Dijak says that Sullivan's title is the farce, as is any title that is only open to a select group of people playing a silly game. UMB says the Crusade in life and death-not a game. Dijak says that it's a game, and everybody playing is just a pawn...UMB most of all. He tells UMB to go away so the real men can wrestle.
- Outsiders Championship - Donovan Dijak vs. Shaun Ricker Donovan Dijak defeated Shaun Ricker with a Disqualification Match Notes: Dijak had Ricker in a pinning situation, and Andy Dalton saved Ricker. Dijak didn't know what to think. He and Dalton yelled at each other. Dalton said that "you couldn't even wait for the body to get cold, could you? I miss a couple of weeks and you throw 3D out the window because you're a selfish bastard." The match continued for a while longer when Ricker was disqualified. Dalton jumped in the ring and laid both guys out with chair shots, and then gave each a piledriver. Joey Daddiego came to ringside. Dalton told him to stay out of it, but Joey said it's gone too far. Dalton cut Daddiego off as he climbed through the ropes. A third piledriver followed, and Dalton left all three men lying in the ring.
- Broken Souls and Necro Butcher - Broken Souls come out first, and they are unusually animated. The Fall is introduced, and Necro comes out by himself. He's got one end of the chain fastened around his neck, and he tells 17 and the Shard that one of them needs to step up. Jacobs isn't here, and this will be a singles' match. Ultramantis Black comes out again. He says that he doesn't care why Jacobs isn't here, but this match was a tag team match and Necro is in the Crusade as a tag wrestler. There will be no match, and the Cosmic Disaster will be awarded 1 point for the no-show. Necro says you know exactly why Jacobs isn't here because you're behind it. Apter comes out and says that Necro needs to not make allegations he can't back up. He's got proof of what happened to Jacobs, but there's no proof it has anything to do with the Crusade. It might be an isolated incident. Necro reminds him that UMB said they were targetting Jacobs, and had launched special attacks on him over the past few weeks. Apter said there's no proof. He said that a thumb drive had appeared backstage. He'd watched it, and it was in the production truck being pulled up now. A second later a video starts. It shows Jimmy Jacobs walking down the hall of a hotel carrying an ice bucket. It's taken from behind, and he seems unaware of the person filming. He steps into the alcove containing a soda machine and the ice machine. Apter comments that this is the hotel they stayed at last night. The video was timestamped earlier this afternoon. Jacobs starts scooping ice, and the video guy comes up right behind him. As Jacobs senses him and turns, three guys in black come out of a men's room next to the alcove. They slam Jacobs into the soda machine and work him over. After a few moments of this, they force Jacob to his knees. They then pick him up and shove him headfirst into the large chamber of the ice machine. One of the guys slams the lid down twice onto Jacobs upper back before all 4 take off. Necro asks what happened to him. He says he passed right by that ice machine on the way here. Apter muses if the hotel is going to charge HoD for the ice machine. Necro grabs Apter and says that if your more concerned about a stupid machine than one of your wrestlers, I'm going to knock you out. UMB comments that Jacobs probably staged it to get out of the Crusade since he was tired of being embarrassed. With that, Necro turns and decks UMB, knocking him flat. Apter tells Necro to go to the backl. Necro asks where's my partner. Apter says that we're trying to find him, but you will go to back right now before your actions cause any more issues.
- Crusade Match - Lufisto vs. Vanessa Kraven Lufisto defeated Vanessa Kraven with a Mangalizer Match Notes: Lufisto with the win.
- TLC Crusade Match - Tommy End vs. Swamp Monster Tommy End defeated Swamp Monster Match Notes: Tables, ladders, and chair filled the ring as both men used anything they could get their hands on. It looked like End would destroy SM, but the strange creature staged a last-minute comeback and almost pulled out a win. Still, SM's leg was hurt, and he literally limped his way through the match.
- Crusade Match HoD Tag Team Championship - War Machine vs. The Batiri for the HoD Tag Team Championship Obariyon defeated Hanson with a Disqualification Match Notes: A very competitive match, and it looked like WM might lose the title. Some suggested that Stone fell back on the tried and true "intentional disqualification" when things got rough for his team.
- HoD Championship Crusade Match - Kevin Sullivan vs. Eddie Kingston for the HoD Championship Eddie Kingston defeated Kevin Sullivan with a Disqualification Match Notes: Another DQ ending sees Kingston win the match but not the title when Sullivan is disqualified for outside interference. Like the tag match, this one had been close and could've gone either way.

House Show #22 02.23.2001 from
Andy Dalton vs. Joey Daddiego Andy Dalton defeated Joey Daddiego with a Brainbuster Match Notes: After the win, Dalton gets on the mic. He challenges Ricker and Dijak to a 3-way with the winner taking the Outsiders title. He knows Ricker's technically the champ, but he didn't earn it in the tournament. He then calls out Ultramantis Black and says that he's talking about the fake title that his leash-holder ShadowHeart doesn't want to hear about. He says he will hang out if UMB and CD want to do anything about it. After a minute, he says that he didn't think they could do anything about it.
- Outsiders Tag Team Championship Match - The Masked Marvels vs. The Bravado Brothers Lancelot Bravado defeated Excalibur with a Deadlift German Suplex Match Notes: the Bravados win the tag team version of the Outsiders belt by defeating the MMs. As always, any mention of the belts is done by the wrestlers themselves, with Borash and the referee discouraging them from doing so.
- Crusade Match - Matt Tremont vs. Delirious Matt Tremont defeated Delirious with a Disqualification Match Notes: Tremont gets a DQ win when Frightmare interferes.
- Crusade Match Ghetto Street Fight - BLKOUT vs. Texas Hangmen Killer defeated Joker with a Hangmen Backbreaker Match Notes: The fans consider this a bit of an upset considering how the two teams have fared lately, with their paths seemingly going in opposite directions.
To everyone's surprise, the Hangmen asked for a mic. Killer said that he and his pardner just walked right into the worst ghetto in the country and beat the Hell out of the thug losers that think they run it. They said it felt good to give BLKOUT the beating they deserved. He said that they will keep doing this as long as BLKOUT is stupid enough to let them, then they are going to get the tag titles from War Machine. Psycho said the experience of beating BLKOUT reminded him of how their grandpappy used to talk about the Good Ol' Days. The Good Ol' Days when they could take somebody that broke the law and take the law in their own hands. Nobody got off on technicalities or crap like that. They were judge, jury, and executioner, and The Texas Hangmen were going to bring those Good Ol' Days back to HoD. He said BLKOUT were guilty of being a couple of loud-mouthed punk loser thugs who were a drain on society, and The Hangmen were going to hand out some justice on those boys.
Before the next match got started, Apter came out, He told MASADA that if he didn't beat the Link then he was off the team.
- Crusade Match - MASADA vs. Missing Link MASADA defeated Missing Link with a Disqualification Match Notes: MASADA gets the win when Link is DQd for using a chair. MASADA calls out Apter and tells him to never threaten him like that again.
- No Disqualification Crusade Match - Brian Cage, Sage Strong, and Homicide vs. Kobald SE, Sick Nick Mondo, and Swamp Monster Homicide defeated Swamp Monster with a Da' Gringo Killa Match Notes: The HA increase their lead. - Crusade Match - Broken Souls and Frightmare vs. War Machine and Tyler Black Frightmare defeated Raymond Rowe with a Kneecolepsy Match Notes: WM suffers their first pinfall loss in a while.
- Crusade Match Falls Count Anywhere - Scorpio Sky vs. Ultramantis Black Ultramantis Black defeated Scorpio Sky with a Roll-Up In Audience Match Notes: The CD stage a small comeback as UMB pins Sky with a simple roll-up. UMB had just whipped Sky into a merchandise table, sending 8X10 glossies flying everywhere. As Sky staggered away from the collapsed table, UMB hooked him for the pin.

Heart of Dixie Episode 48 02.24.2001 from
- Opener and Scoring Correction - We open with Bill Apter out with Eric Bischoff
Apter: Before we proceed one iota, we have some business to attend to. I would like to apologize to ShadowHeart and the Cosmic Disaster.
Bischoff: Excuse me. What could possibly have happened that would cause you to apologize to the enemy?
Apter: Watch it, Bischoff. It seems that due to clerical malfeasance in our office, the current Crusade score had been altered to give HoD an advantage.
Bischoff: So? The Cosmic Disaster take shortcuts every week.
Apter: That's not how we win, Bischoff. If you make another statement like that, you will be suspended for 30 days. Now, the person responsible has been fired.
Bischoff: Is that why Angela was let go? Bill, it was an honest mistake. She's got a new baby and her husband has health issues. I'm sorry but that's-
Apter: 30 days, Bischoff...bye.
Bischoff: I'm not done..
Apter: 60...want to go for 90? Security, please escort Mr. Bishoff from these premises.
HoD security follows through.
Apter: Now,. as I was saying...
At this point, the entire Heart Attack contingent, lead by Ted DiBiase, come to the ring.
DiBiase: Bill, listen-
Apter: You have nothing to say that would be of the slightest interest, Ted, I know you don't have "RB" set to call me, either. Please leave. You are trespassing on HoD property.
DiBiase: Bill..
Apter: That's it. I don't have to suspend you since you're nobody to this promotion. Security, escort this man from the arena floor, but detain him till law enforcement arrives. I'm pressing charges.
The Heart Attack contingent roar their disapproval as DiBiase is lead away.
Apter: If this is some kind of mutiny, I suggest you abandon the plan now and go prepare for your matches. Now, if Ultramantis Black will come out, I would like to apologize personally to him. I can assure you, Mr. Black, that no harm will come to you.
Apter glared as his own team as UMB came out looking smug.
UMB: I'm sorry to see that your team has had to resort to such underhanded tactics to win this Crusade. Which one of you o-so-tough men bulliied poor. poor Evelyn into cheating?
Tyler Black: Evelyn's little finger had more humanity than your entire team could muster in all their bodies combined. This is a screw-job, and I can't believe Bill is going along with it.
Apter: Tyler, one more word and you join Bischoff in the suspension line.
Eddie Kingston: WOULD YOU SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU PATHETIC WEASEL!!!
Apter looked stunned.
Kingston: If you say any variation of the words "suspended" or "apologize," I will personally beat you silly. Furthermore, I dare you to call your little security goblins to do anything to us, because they will leave the ring in body bags. Sorry, guys, I used to respect our old security crew, but you guys that Apter hired right as this silly Crusade started are wrestling-school dropouts who get off on bullying people who can't fight back. You don't want any of this. Stay back or I sic Saturyne on you, and smart money is on her.
UMB: I'm loving watching your team implode. You make your own defeat so easy. Hey, MASADA, have you and Tremont kissed and made up yet?
Kingston: Black, you best leave now. Apter's promise about you not getting hurt don't mean crap to anyone here. Understand? Either call all your boys out and we end this whole thing right now, or you get out of my sight. Wait, before you go, you realize that this clerical error reduces our lead by 3 points. We're still kicking you ass. Now,. you go.
UMB tries to leave with as much pride as he can. a red-faced Apter fumes in the corner.
Kingston: How's about that, Apter? Our lead went from kicking their ass to kicking their ass by 3 less points, but still kicking their ass. This comes after some bizarre matchmaking on your part. You randomly throw three of our guys together. There's no rhyme or reason, but you know what? WE'RE STILL KICKING THEIR ASS. Now, here's our ultimatum. We will be given greater decision-making input in the Heart Attack's plan to combat The Cosmic Disaster. That's not-negotiable. Let's head to the back and let Billy-boy contemplate our proposal.
The Heart Attack leave the ring as Bill looks like he's about to have a stroke.
- Outsiders Championship - Andy Dalton vs. Donovan Dijak vs. Shaun Ricker Shaun Ricker defeated Donovan Dijak with a Roll-Up Match Notes: Ricker retains the Outsider's Championship.
- Outsiders Tag Team Championship - The Bravado Brothers vs. The N-Words B Ryce defeated Harlem Bravado with a King Kobra Cutter Match Notes: The N-Words win the Outsiders Tag Team Championship.
- The Cosmic Disaster, HoD, and the Outsiders - Apter and UMB came out together. Apter called everyone identifying themselves as "Outsiders" to the ring. Dalton, Dijak, Ricker, Justice, Daddiego, BLK JEEZ, The N-Words, The Masked Marvels, The Bravados, and Fast Money came out.
Dalton: You know, for two guys who are supposed to be enemies, you two are awfully chummy. It's too bad your team doesn't have the testicular fortitude to do something about it. If you were supposed to be my leader, and you acted-
UMB: Quiet, Dalton. Neither of us is your leader despite your repeated attempts to beg us to allow you in the Crusade. You didn't even care which side.
Ricker- Why are we out here?
Apter: You're out here because you all ignored multiple demands to cease referral to these fake "Outsider" titles. The Crusade does not allow for any distractions, and a bunch of grown-men fantasizing about a meaningless, garbage, fake championship certainly qualifies as a distraction The Crusade is all that matters, period. You all do not. You were allowed the occasional match to insure that the important wrestlers in this promotion, mainly, anyone not you all, did not tire themselves out and lower the quality of competition in the Crusade.
UMB: You couldn't even be good little lapdogs. You refused to obey your betters and now it will cost you.
Acid Jaz: Why do you let him talk to us that way. Apter? You're supposed to be one of the good guys.
Apter: I am, but I'm busy saving this fed so you guys can have jobs. Your ridiculous behavior is a distraction, and one I'm ending. To be blunt, you guys just cost yourself some money. Until April 7th, I will book one of you per card. The rest of you will sit....no work, no pay. On April 7th, when either myself or ShadowHeart controls HoD, your final fate will be decided then. I'm not feeling very charitable, so unless saving HoD puts me in a really good mood, don't expect a lot of love.
UMB: ShadowHeart finds you all repulsive and will not only terminate your employment, but will use his considerable influence to insure future employment is hard to come by.
Apter: We've got Chris Cash taking on Samuray Del Sol next. I'll allow that match to proceed. The rest of you vacate the ring and the building ASAP.
Chri$ Ca$h vs. Samuray Del Sol Chri$ Ca$h defeated Samuray Del Sol with a Disqualification Match Notes: A few minutes into the match, Apter comes back to the ring and whispers something to Jeremy Borash. Borash looks confused, but nods "yes." Borash picks up the chair he's sitting in and goes to ringside. He calls out Samuray's name. When SDS turns, Borash tosses him the chair. As soon as SDS catches the chair, the ref calls for the bell. SDS and Cash looks at Borash who shrugs meekly and points at a laughing Apter. Apter leaves the ring area. SDS calls Borash into the ring and immediately nails him with a Del Sol Driver. Cash follows it up with the Cash Flow. SDS and Cash shake hands and leave the ring together.
- Crusade Match - Frightmare vs. Scorpio Sky Frightmare defeated Scorpio Sky with a Disqualification Match Notes: Sky is DQd when Petey Williams interfered. Sabu hits the ring to attack Williams and we move right into the next regularly scheduled match.
HA-88 CD-76
- Crusade Match - Petey Williams vs. Sabu Petey Williams defeated Sabu with a Disqualification Match Notes: Sabu is DQd when The Missing Link interferes.
Necro Butcher comes to the ring and calls out Apter. Apter comes up but orders Necro to return to the back.
Necro: Billy, I think you've figured out by now that we don't say "how high?" when you say "jump" anymore. You listen to this. I haven't heard from Jimmy since he was attacked last week. He's not answering his phone. His apartment looks like it's been empty for a while. Something's up and The Cosmic Disaster are behind it.
Apter: Watch those allegation, Butcher. ShadowHeart can make this even more difficult-
Necro: It's not that difficult now. The only points they get most of the time are the 1 point for losing by DQ. Why did you even agree to that? Don't answer,,,your decisions in this thing have the whole team baffled.
Apter: I obviously see the bigger picture. Now, return-
Necro: No, Bill. Now, has the office heard from Jimmy?
Apter: No, we haven't. Furthermore, I'm becoming more and more convinced that Jacobs staged that to avoid being an embarrassment to the team any more.
Necro: You're the only one embarrassing the team, Billy. Now, you need to fix this so I can wrestle. Who cares if I signed on as a team,
Apter: Those of us who make and keep rules care. It's simple enough that even one like you SHOULD get it.
Necro: so by taking out one member of a team, The Cosmic Disaster effectively took out the team.
Apter: As much as I'm loathe to admit it, it was a masterful strategy.
Necro: So unless JImmy shows back up fit to wrestle, I'm pretty much worthless to the Crusade.
Apter: I wouldn't be making any major purchases for a while. Your income stream is very limited.
Necro: OK, then, since I can't wrestle, I don't care if I get suspended, banned, whatever. On that note...
With that, Necro slugged Apter in the jaw, knocking him flat on his back. He then picked him up and hit a chair-assisted body slam. Necro dusted his hands off over Apter's body and left ringside. Apter needed medical assistance, and the crowd cheered his every groan of pain.
HA-90 CD-77
- Crusade Match - Broken Souls and Delirious vs. BLKOUT and Homicide The Shard defeated Joker with a Shard Superkick Match Notes: In somewhat of an upset, The masked contingent of the CD picks up a win.
HA-90 CD-80
- Crusade Match - Tommy End vs. Lord Zoltan Tommy End defeated Lord Zoltan with a Disqualification Match Notes: The DQ comes when Ultramantis Black interferes. Tyler Black makes the save, and we roll straight into our scheduled main event.
HA-92 CD-81
- Crusade Match - Tyler Black vs. Ultramantis Black Tyler Black defeated Ultramantis Black with a Countout Match Notes: UMB is counted out for simply refusing to return to the ring. Right before the count out, the Batiri came to ringside and spoke briefly with UMB who was outside the ring. UMB grabbed a mic.
UMB: Ref, count me out. This match is meaningless. Tyler, enjoy your gift win.
Tyler Black went out to try and get to UMB, but the Batiri held him back. Finally, he threw up his hands and waited,
Tyler: A win's a win. I guess this is how you beat a coward, huh, Mantis?
UMB: Keep making your petty excuses. You're the one who was unable to beat me before you bored me into not caring. The Batiri reminded me of something more important.
UMB and the Batiri entered the ring.
UMB: To anyone who saw the match where War Machine defended against the Batiri, it was obvious that Stone's team spent the match running for their lives. When they knew they were doomed, they got themselves intentionally disqualified. While the normal rules of the Crusade prohibit rematches, it's only fair we make an exception in this case. I was going to run it by my counterpart, Mr. Apter, who would undoubtedly agree, being the man of honor he is.
Tyler: If it hurts his own team, he will undoubtedly agree to it. I'm sure.
UMB: You're so petty, Tyler. Anyhow, thanks to Necro Butcher, Apter is unable to participate in the discussion. Therefore, on behalf of the leadership of both sides of the Crusade, I declare that the Batiri will receive a No DQ rematch next week.
With that, Stu Stone lead WM to the ring.
Stone: This is bullcrap, Mantis. You and Apter change the rules when it benefits you, but then it's the letter of the law otherwise. This isn't happening. Batiri lost. Get those masked guys or the cowboys ready.
UMB: No, it will be the Batiri next Saturday, or I will see to it you're stripped of the titles.
Tyler: Mantis, I don't care about this Crusade. You will not unilaterally do this. We're beyond caring about repercussions for breaking your "rules." We're winning and you're pissed about it. ShadowHeart knows it, and he's leaning on you to do something. You can't, because your team's not as good as us.
During this Eddie Kingston came down and pulled Stu Stone aside. They whispered a conversation while Tyler spoke.
Eddie: Tyler, hold on. I agree that this will not go down the way Mantis dreams it will. With Apter out of pocket, thanks Necro, we're as in charge as you are, and we have a proposition. You see, I feel the same way about how Kevin Sullivan handled himself at the end of our title match last week. He knew I was going to win that belt. I deserve a rematch as much as the Batiri. Now, I just told Stu that his boys can handle these two satan-wannabes. So, you want them to get a rematch...I get one as well, NO DQ.
UMB stood silently for a moment. As he did, Kevin Sullivan came to the ring.
Sullivan: Mantis, why aren't you saying "no".
UMB: Because the Batiri deserve a rematch.
Sullivan: Kingston may have won by DQ, but he didn't do anything to deserve a rematch.
Kingston: What's wrong, Sullivan? You sound worried.
Sullivan: You don't worry, me, Kingston. It's the principle of the thing. There are rules.
Tyler: Which you guys bend to your benefit constantly. You heard Eddie's offer. We're done here. Let us know your answer.

Heart of Dixie Episode 49 03.03.2001 from
- Opener with Apter and Ultramantis Black - UMB pushes Apter out in a wheelchair. One leg and one arm are in a cast, and his hand has a big bandage around it.
UMB: Due to Mr. Apter's infirmity, caused by the vicious unwarranted attack by Necro Butcher, a member of his own team amazingly, I will speak on his behalf. As you can see, Mr. Apter has an air horn in his good hand. If I say anything that we haven't already agreed upon, he will sound the horn. First off, Necro Butcher is banned for life from HoD. Done. Second, Mr. Apter feels the need to show his team that he is indeed their leader, despite their lack of respect. So, in today's main event, Homicide is taking on Sick Nick Mondo in a Barbed-Wire Cage match. The Cosmic Disaster's Mondo is 3-0 against Homicide. Obviously, somebody's not pulling their weight. Therefore, if Mondo wins today's match, Homicide is suspended for the duration of The Crusade. Done, Finally, I, Ultramantis Black, speak for myself. I don't feel the rebellious attitude of the so-called "outsiders" has been adequately punished. Therefore, I'm bringing in an enforcer, Brodie Lee. He works solely for me, and is not part of the Crusade or The Cosmic Disaster. His job is simply to punish the outsiders, nothing more, nothing less. In fact, Mr. Lee will be making his debut in our first match against the man whom ShadowHeart and I consider the ringleader of the outsiders, when they existed, of course, Andy Dalton.
Andy Dalton vs. Brodie Lee This match ended in a draw (Double Disqualification ) Match Notes: Dalton and Lee brawled their way to a DDQ in an exciting match.
The Hangmen come to the ring for the next match.
Psycho: So we beat BLKOUT on their turf in a Philly Street Fight. Now, they think they can beat us Texas style. No way, fellas. No matter the city, no matter the style...The Texas Hangmen will beat BLKOUT from coast to coast and The Gulf of Mexico to Canada.
- Texas Death Crusade Match - BLKOUT vs. Texas Hangmen Ruckus defeated Killer with a Poetic Ruckus Match Notes: Despite Psycho's prediction, BLKOUT do win the Hangmen's signature match. HA-97 Cd-82
- Crusade Match - Sage Strong vs. Kobald SE Sage Strong defeated Kobald SE with an Overhead Slam Match Notes: Strong just overpowers his smaller opponent.
HA-100 CD-82

They did not sweep the eliminations as they did the first match however.
HA-100 Cd-85
Jeremy Borash explained the rules of the next match. Each team would start with one man. Whichever team lost the first fall would replace their wrestler. Whichever team lost each subsequent fall would replace their wrestler until one team had all of their wrestlers defeated.
- Crusade Gauntlet Match - Tyler Black , Scorpio Sky, Tommy End, Brian Cage, and Matt Tremont vs. Frightmare, Missing Link, Sabu, Lord Zoltan, and Swamp Monster Scorpio Sky defeated Lord Zoltan with a Blackout DDT Scorpio Sky defeated Swamp Monster with an Ace Crusher/Dragon Sleeper Frightmare defeated Scorpio Sky with a Somersault Plancha Tyler Black defeated Frightmare with a God's Last Gift Tyler Black defeated Missing Link with a Phoenix Splash Lord Zoltan defeated Matt Tremont with a Triangle Death Grip Tyler Black defeated Sabu with a Phoenix Splash Match Notes: Tyler Black proves why he's the Heart Attack's MVP by defeating the last 3 CD members to win the match. HA 103 CD-85
- Crusade Match No Disqualification HoD Tag Team Championship - The Batiri vs. War Machine for the HoD Tag Team Championship Raymond Rowe defeated Kodama with a War Machine Match Notes: War Machine retain the titles in an exciting match,
HA-106 Cd-85
Homicide is in the cage before the match.
Homicide: Apter, it's been asked over and over, but I gotta ask again...whose side are you really on? You've done nothing but sabotage the Crusade for HoD since day 1-
At this point, UMB came out.
UMB: Bill Apter has asked me to inform you that if you don't shut down this unauthorized promo immediately, your suspension will be automatic.
Homicide: If this were a normal situation, I wouldn't believe my own leader would make that statement. I know my leader, though, and that sounds exactly like something he would say. Fine, I'll stop, after this. If he tries to suspend me at any point for any reason, he will have to kill me to keep me away.
- Barbed-Wire Cage Crusade Match - Homicide vs. Sick Nick Mondo Homicide defeated Sick Nick Mondo with a Da' Gringo Killa Match Notes: Homicide picks up the win in a brutal, bloody match.
HA-109 CD-85
After the match, Homicide got back on the mic.
Homicide: Hate to disappoint you, Apter, but I won. Do you realize we're winning this Crusade crap by over.....20 points. This is a joke. The Cosmic Disaster is a joke. March can't come soon enough. I just want to win this competition, put it behind us, and move on ASAP.

We've cut your lead almost in half in one night. I'd have to say it was HoD's Heart Attack that was a pile of crap tonight. It's not about who is winning now, but about who is winning on March 7th.

Heart of Dixie Episode 50 03.10.2001 from
- Opening - Ultramantis Black pushes out Bill Apter in the wheelchair for the second week in a row.
UMB: As you can see, Mr. Apter's condition isn't improving, and doctors fear he may actually be getting worse. I will speak on his behalf, and as you can see, he is carrying the airhorn in order to call attention to anything I might say that he doesn't agree with.
Petey Williams comes out.
PW: Look, Bill, I know Necro gave you a good shot, but damn dude, that was 2 weeks ago. All he did was sock you in the jaw. I might can understand the head wrap, but a wheelchair-
At this point, Apter sounds the airhorn.
UMB: Bill would prefer not to discuss his medical status in public. That's an invasion of his privacy.
PW: Well, it's keeping him from doing his job, which is leading US against YOU, Mantis.
Apter sounds the horn again.
UMB: He desires that you cease this line of commentary.
PW: What? You speak airhorn?
UMB: Bill and I might be adversaries, but we're on the same page when it comes to running the Crusade and either winning or defending HoD.
PW: Then why the hell don't you act like "adversaries". You act like total bffs.
Apter sounds a long blast. Williams goes to snatch the airhorn, but UMB blocks his arm.
PW: Let go, Mantis, or you and I march to that ring right now and finish this.
Mantis slowly moves his arm.
UMB: Don't attempt to accost Mr. Apter again.
PW: The guys repping HoD don't know what's going on, but we will find out. Bill, if you're as guilty as you look...
Apter raises the horn.
PW: Blow that stupid thing again and I'll make you eat it. How's that for accosting?
Brodie Lee vs. Andy Dalton Brodie Lee defeated Andy Dalton with a Cross-body Block Match Notes: Lee gets another shot at his "hit" on Dalton, and this time it pays off with a clean win.
- Tremont/Zoltan Lumberjack Match - The match progressed as scheduled. It was thrown out and declared a No Contest after the lumberjack's starting fighting in and around the ring. No points were awarded to either side. During the fray, MASADA, who was not one of the lumberjacks, came to the ring. He grabbed a chair and fought his way through the crowd. Some ringside observers noted an instance where it looked like he was about to strike Tremont from behind with the chair. At the last moment, he altered his swing and smacked one of the CD lumberjacks.
- Crusade Falls Count Anywhere - Delirious, Sick Nick Mondo, and Swamp Monster vs. Tommy End, MASADA, and Brian Cage Delirious defeated MASADA with a Powerbomb Match Notes: The CD pull to 11 points when MASADA takes another loss.
After the bell, Tremont comes out. He says that if Apter just has to suspend somebody for not pulling their weight, it should be MASADA, not somebody like Homicide, who has worked his ass off for the team. MASADA goes after Tremont, but the rest of the HA team separate them before they can come to blows.

Borash announces a stipulation for the next match, a ladder match pitting Frightmare against Scorpio Sky. Hung over the ring will be a case with a contract in it. Whoever gets the case wins the match and gets the contract. However, the winner has to abide by the rules of the Crusade even if they might otherwise not wish to do so. Whoever gets the contract can only use it if the champion is from the opposite team.
- Crusade Ladder Match - Scorpio Sky vs. Frightmare Frightmare defeated Scorpio Sky Match Notes: Frightmare closes the gap by winning the match and getting the contract. As Frightmare stands in the ring looking it over, Kevin Sullivan comes out.
Sullivan: Congratulations on beating Sky and getting that contract. Keeping it out of his hands was really your only job, as you won't be cashing it in. I will beat Kingston today, and whoever else the HA can throw at me. By all means, though, enjoy the light reading.
HA-116 CD-108
- Crusade Match - Tyler Black vs. Ultramantis Black Tyler Black defeated Ultramantis Black with a Disqualification Match Notes: Tyler wins via DQ when Lord Zoltan interferes. Tyler challenges UMB to a NO DQ match for next week. He doesn't care about the stipulation. He just wants UMB to fight his own match for once. UMB says that he will be glad to oblige. He doesn't need his comrades assistance, but he allows them to assist as it promotes teamwork. He will keep his team off to the side next week, and embarrass Tyler one last time.
HA-118 CD-109 - Elimination Crusade Match - War Machine and BLKOUT vs. Broken Souls and Texas Hangmen Killer defeated Hanson with a Body Slam Killer defeated Raymond Rowe with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex Joker defeated The Shard with a Joker-Plex Joker defeated 17 with a Cambo Wizard Ruckus defeated Psycho with a Dream Sequence Joker defeated Killer with a Magnitude Bomb Match Notes: The 2 remaining HA teams pair up to defeast 2 of the CD teams in an elimination match.
After the match, UMB and Apter come out again.
UMB: Bill and I have made a decision. We've watched BLKOUT and my Texas Hangmen go at it in a number of different matches, and each team has had varying success. They seem to be able to beat each other at their own game, so to speak. Bill came up with an idea from the annals of wrestling history. He covered this extensively in his magazines back in the day, and it left an impression on him. He showed me footage, and I knew we had our answer. If neither BLKOUT nor The Hangmen can achieve a decisive win on the ground, no matter where that ground may be, the only way to go is up. Next week, right here on HoD TV, BLKOUT and the Texas Hangmen will meet in a scaffold match. When both members of one team are knocked 25 ft.to the ground, they lose. Depending on how they land, they could lose more than the match.
HA-121 CD-109
- Crusade Match No Disqualification HoD Championship - Eddie Kingston vs. Kevin Sullivan for the HoD Championship Kevin Sullivan defeated Eddie Kingston with a Foreign Object Match Notes: Sullivan successfully retains after KO'ing Kingston with a fist full of metal handed to him by Zoltan. CD end the evening only 9 points back.

Heart of Dixie Episode 51 03.17.2001 from
- Opening - For the 3rd week in a row, UMB wheels out Apter. His condition remains unchanged. However, he does not have the airhorn.
UMB: Mr. Apter's airhorn appears to have gone missing. Don't worry. I wouldn't dare say anything that he and I have not agreed upon. Surely, you fans must be aware of this by now. Two weeks ago, the Cosmic Disaster was denied the services of Miss Vanessa Kraven due to an unwarranted attack by Leva and Lufisto. It appears that Miss Kraven will be lost to us for the duration of the Crusade. Neither she nor I is happy about it, and their will be reckoning. Another individual who isn't happy is this lady, Saturyne.
Saturyne comes out.
UMB: Saturyne was Vanessa's opponent in the match during which Vanessa was injured, and lost the match as a result of the attack. You might wonder why Saturyne opposed the actions of her own teammates. It's because she's a lady of honor, and honor is something the wrestlers in the Heart Attack know nothing about.
Apter tries to nod vigorously, and winces in pain.
UMB: Even the general of HoD's army understands that he's gone to war with a bunch of self-centered, arrogant idiots. It's what he's stuck with, however. Saturyne refuses to be stuck. She no longer wants to associate with the likes of Bates and Lufisto, or any team that would have them. Effective now, Saturyne represents The Cosmic Disaster. Mr. Apter is disappointed, but he knows his team and understands her decision.
At this point, Eddie Kingston comes out.
Kingston: Saturyne, what are you doing? This isn't you.
UMB: Eddie-
Kingston: Be quiet, Black. Of course, Apter understands her decision. It benefits the other team. Everything he does benefits the other team.
Apter began gesturing wildly, but screamed in pain.
UMB: Leave now, Eddie. You are upsetting him.
Kingston: I'm about 3 seconds from pushing that wheelchair off this platform. Saturyne, come talk to us-
UMB: This is settled. She is with us, and you are out of line. Mr. Borash, please announce the first match.
Jeremy Borash announced Brodie Lee and his next target, Joey Daddiego. Before the bell, Donovan Dijak came out.
Dijak: Hey, Lee, I thought you were targeting the leaders of the "outsiders". Joey's a good guy, but he's hardly leadership material.
Lee: Talk to Mantis, Dijak. I just go where I'm told. Now, take a walk.
Dijak: We're not done.
As DD leaves the ring, Lee plants a big boot to the side of his head. Dijak falls to the floor. Sabu and the Missing Link attack him on the floor and drag him away.
Brodie Lee vs. Joey Daddiego Brodie Lee defeated Joey Daddiego with a Big Boot Match Notes: Lee gets an easy win.
- Crusade Match - Saturyne vs. Lufisto Saturyne defeated Lufisto with a Suicide Dive Match Notes: Saturyne picks up a win for her new team in the best women's match yet in HoD.
HA-121 CD-115
- Non-Title Crusade Match - Broken Souls vs. War Machine Hanson defeated The Shard with a Clothesline Match Notes: WM knock Broken Souls out of the tag title picture for the time being.
Stu Stone: Well, Mantis, what's ShadowHeart going to do? We've beaten all your teams. We don't really care about the rules of the Crusade. Slap two of your guys in a new team and send them over. We will beat every combo you could possibly make.
HA-124 Cd-115
- Crusade Match - Eddie Kingston, Scorpio Sky, and Brian Cage vs. Kobald SE, Lord Zoltan, and Delirious Brian Cage defeated Lord Zoltan with a Weapon X Match Notes: The HA expand their gap slightly with another win.
HA-127 CD-115
Tyler Black comes out first. He says that he's heard UMB has a special stipulation for this match. Black says he doesn't care as long as Mantis' pals can't get him DQd.
UMB comes out wearing a dog collar attached to a long chain. He tosses the other end, also attached to a collar, to Black.
TB: Going old-school, huh Mantis? Works for me. Tyler attaches the collar and the match begins. - Crusade Dog-Collar Match - Tyler Black vs. Ultramantis Black Tyler Black defeated Ultramantis Black with a Running Shooting Star Press Match Notes: Tyler finally gets a clean pin over his rival, and the points gap continues to build once again.
HA-130 CD-115
Borash comes out and tells the crowd its time for the scaffold. BLKOUT and the Texas Hangmen face off in the ring below the monstrous construct. Neither team is eager to climb. Finally, BLKOUT look at each, nod, and quickly scamper up the support tower. They call out the Hangmen from the top of the scaffold. The Hangmen feign climbing the towers a few times until the crowd's boos are deafening. BLKOUT make obscene gestures from up high, much to the crowd's delight. Finally, Joker moons the Hangmen and the masked men go nuts. They each go to a different tower and start climbing so that BLKOUT will be between them on the top. When Psycho and Killer step onto the platform, the bell rings.
- Crusade Scaffold Match - BLKOUT vs. Texas Hangmen Ruckus defeated Killer Joker defeated Psycho Match Notes: The match hasn't been going long when Joker sends Killer to the floor. Fortunately, he lands on his back, so there doesn't appear to be much damage. To everyone's surprise, Psycho holds on for a long time in the handicap scenario. At different times, he comes very close to sending both Joker and Ruckus off the platform. The action moves across the platform, onto the support towers, and even under the platform.
Meanwhile, on the ground, a different situation is occurring. Despite not being badly injured by the fall, Killer lay in the ring for a while. He tried to get up once or twice, but would collapse. After a few minutes, a masked man with long hair, and beard, and very familiar tattoos came to the ring. He grabbed the downed Killer and quickly removed his mask. Killer was still to out of it to really know what was happening. Later, Ruckus knocked Psycho off to win the match. Somehow, Psycho managed to fall perfectly and was almost able to walk away. He noticed Killer was unmasked and starting yelling for a towel. By this time, the fans had gotten a good look at Killer. UMB pushed Apter to the ring in the wheelchair. He left Apter right outside the ring. UMB said that Apter had decreed that if the masked wasn't returned immediately, the result of the match would be reversed. Mantis added that he would see to it that some his men climbed the scaffold and threw BLKOUT off. BLKOUT dared him to climb up. UMB told the ref to count to 10. If the masked wasn't back on Killer's head by then, the result would be changed. At 8, the masked man ran down the aisle and came up behind Apter. He crammed the mask over Apter's head, and the pulled out the airhorn. He blasted the airhorn right into Apter's ear. Apter lept from the wheelchair into the ring. He felll trying to climb into the ring and the both the arm and leg casts shattered. The masked man removed his own mask, and it was indeed Necro Butcher. Psycho yanked the mask of Apter's head and turned to where his partner had been. During the preceding action, BLKOUT had quickly climbed down the tower and thrown Killer over the top rope. Psycho saw them standing there waiting on him, yelled "screw this," and left the ring. He helped his partner up and the two of them made their way from ringside. When Mantis realized BLKOUT was behind him, he climbed one of the scaffold towers. BLKOUT acted as though they were going to follow, but threw up their hands in disgust. Apter lay in the ring with a look of horror on his face. BLKOUT and Necro exchanged high-5s and fist bumps, and left the ring.

- Ultramantis Black & The Texas Hangmen - UMB comes to the ring.
UMB: I'm sure you're all aware what happened on last week's show. If you're not...
A montage of events from last week's scaffold match is shown.
UMB: I haven't spoken to Bill Apter since he was brutally attacked by Necro Butcher. A man who is banned for life from all HoD events. I'm sure Bill will press charges in the assault. You saw how already injured Bill was, and I know those injuries must have been horribly aggravated in his escape from yet another assault. I'm not sure why Apter has suddenly become unavailable, but that situation will likely be remedied before this show ends. Now, I'd like to bring my Texas Hangmen to the ring.
The Hangmen join him. One is still masked, the other is not masked.
UMB: First off, while it's unfortunate you were not able to prevail in the scaffold match, the leadership of the The Cosmic Disaster commends your efforts.
Adam Page: You commend our efforts, huh? That and $10 bucks will buy me a beer at the ballpark. By the way, the name's Adam Page. Killer died when the mask came off. This is still Psycho, and he will remain Psycho until he chooses.
UMB: What you call yourselves is irrelevant, although if you choose to wrestle masked again, we are fine with it. There were certain advantages gained by the two of you looking so similar.
Adam Page: Excuse me? Wrestle again? For you? I know with you asking "What planet are you from?" may be a legit question, but the point stands. What the hell do you mean "wrestle masked again." I'm unmasked. I stay unmasked.
UMB: Well, it's not ideal to us.
Adam Page: You don't get it. There is no "you" or "us" any more. We could've died falling from that scaffold. You should never have put us in it. You don't give us the orders any more.
UMB: I believe I do.
AP: I believe you should shut up. Psycho and I agreed when we became the Hangmen, long before you showed up, that if we were ever unmasked, either of us, that was it. Well, that was it. We're done.
UMB: You are beholden to the Cosmic Disaster. You are done when I say, and if you attempt to defy me, then you will be done...but on my terms.
AP: Bye, Mantis.
Page and Psycho turned and left the ring.
UMB: I'm calling The Cosmic Disaster out here to deal with these turncoats. Teach the traitors a lesson as an example to those who would defy me.
As the Hangmen made their way down the aisle, several members of the Cosmic Disaster came out to block their way. UMB continued to yell orders to attack them. After a few seconds of staredown, Kevin Sullivan came out and got in Page's face. They eyed each other for a few more seconds, then Sullivan stepped aside and raised his hands, restraining his teammates. Page nodded slightly and then the Hangmen left the arena. As Sullivan and the CD members turned to leave, UMB shouted-
UMB: Who are you to defy me?
Sullivan marched back to the ring, grabbed the mic from UMB's hand and said-
Sullivan: I'm Kevin Sullivan, bitch.
Sullivan threw the mic at UMB's feet and walked away.
- Crusade Match - Missing Link vs. Matt Tremont Missing Link defeated Matt Tremont with a Backward Flying Headbutt Match Notes: Link picks up a win. Fans saw MASADA watching from the entrance way. He visibly shrugged when Tremont was pinned, and had a slight smile on his face as he turned away.

- Bill Apter Speaks Out About A Lot of Things - Bill Apter comes to the ring to a torrent of boos. He’s walking normally, showing no signs of any injury. His facial expression isn’t cocky or angry, it’s sad. Bill Apter: I would like all of my team, the Heart Attack, to join me in the ring. This isn’t an order. If you don’t want to come, I understand, but I really want to look you all in the eye as I say what I’m about to say. Slowly, in ones and twos, all 17 members of the Heart Attack join him. They all eye him warily, and keep constantly looking around them. Apter: Gentlemen, ladies, fans of HoD…. I’m sorry. I apologize for my behavior these past couple of months, and for what had to look like my efforts to sabotage my own team. I’m hoping that the fact that UMB isn’t how here with me begins to show my sincerity. In fact, I have spoken with ShadowHeart, and from this point on, the only types of communication between HoD and anyone representing him will be in writing. I also told him that no one from The Cosmic Disaster would get on a mic again till this Crusade is over, and he agreed…surprised me too. As it stands, the Crusade is about over, thank goodness. Like you all, I’m ready to move on. Before I talk any further about the Crusade, I do want to explain some things. Last week, as I lay there in the ring after Necro knocked some sense into me, thank you, Butcher, we will talk this week about your future, something “broke” inside me. Anyone who was watching after we cut the cameras knows that I got up and walked right to the temporary office. I grabbed my stuff and drove straight to the hotel. I fell asleep in my clothes and woke up at 6am last Sunday morning. I don’t know what happened, but when I woke up I was overwhelmed by memories of everything I’d done the past few weeks. I realized how I’d treated you guys. To be honest, I lost it. I cried like a baby. I called Ted DiBiase, apologized to him, and asked him to cover for me this week at the office. I haven’t been around wrestling till I got here about 10 minutes ago. I needed the break. I took the week to reflect, and I honestly don’t know what came over me. I wondered if maybe ShadowHeart had been working with The Dark Menace on that mind-control junk, but there really wasn’t a way for him to put that to work on me. The bottom line is that I don’t know, but I’ve beaten it. I called “RB” this morning and we talked for two hours. He trusts me, and you can ask Ted if you want confirmation. I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure HoD stays in the rightful hands of “RB”. I close the way I began, with an “I’m sorry”. Here’s my hand. If you want to come shake it, I would appreciate it. If you don’t trust me, yet, don’t shake it. There will be no hard feelings. Apter extended his hand. Nobody moved for a while, and it looked as though he might pull his hand back a couple of times. He kept it extended. Finally, Tyler Black stepped up and shook it. Tommy End was next, followed by Brian Cage, Sage Strong, and Joker. Ruckus didn’t seem too sure about his partner’s choice, but didn’t stop him. Apter-Thank you to those who did, and to those who didn’t, I hope you will feel comfortable very soon. Now, I do have some business to handle with all of you, and I think you will find it good news. I’ve decided how the Crusade will end. As you know, the final Crusade event will be April 1st at our 1-year anniversary show. Whoever has the most points at the end of the night wins the Crusade and will likely control HoD. Of course, that depends on “RB”. As I did with the scaffold match, I went back into the wrestling archives to pick what will be the final Crusade match. I’ve chosen a match created by “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes himself…. The War Games/The Match Beyond. Watch this video explaining how this incredible match plays out. Video plays Apter: AS you see, this match promises non-stop action and most likely, some injuries. On the timekeeper’s table are two boxes, one marked “HA” and one marked “CD”. Each box has a plastic chip with the name of each singles wrestler on it that’s aligned with that team. Jeremy will draw the chips one at a time, starting with The Heart Attack. The five names drawn will be the participants in the War Games/The Match Beyond. Also, the order they are drawn is the order they will enter the ring. Mr. Borash, please begin drawing names for the Heart Attack. Borash: Yes, sir. Good to have you back, sir. The first wrestler in the ring for the Heart Attack will be MASADA Matt Tremont was heard to laugh loudly, and some at ringside swear he muttered “we’re doomed”. Next in for the HA will be Tyler Black Next will be Scorpio Sky The fourth man in for the HA will be Tommy End Our final representative will be Petey Williams Next, I will draw for the Cosmic Disaster. Kevin Sullivan checked this box and accompanied me to ringside as I brought it to this table before the show. It is sealed, and I’m only now breaking the seal. The CD wrestler who will start against MASADA will be Ultramantis Black Next in for the CD will be The Missing Link The CD’s third representative will be Frightmare The fourth CD representative will be Sick Nick Mondo And finally, for the CD, will be Delirious. Apter: So MASADA, Tyler Black, Scorpio Sky, Tommy End, and Petey Williams will take on Ultramantis Black, The Missing Link, Frightmare, Sick Nick Mondo, and Delirious. All in all, I’d say the odds are in our favor. There’s one more thing to do before we go. We need to determine which team will have the advantage for the War Games. Mr. Borash, please bring the special coin to the ring. Jeremy enters the ring and holds up an coin about the size of a Kennedy Half-Dollar. One side had the HoD logo on it, and the other had “CD”. Apter: Jeremy, please flip the coin high. Whichever side is face up will have the man advantage throughout War Games. Borash flipped the coin. Apter: Unfortunate. The Cosmic Disaster will have the advantage. ShadowHeart, I’m sure you are listening. Don’t make the mistake of letting this small bit of good fortune go to your head. When the Crusade is done on April 1st, there won’t be any April Fool’s jokes. There will only be the truth…you and the Cosmic Disaster will be history. A few more wrestlers came and shook Apter’s hand before leaving the ring. Eddie Kingston was rather obvious in his defiance.
- Crusade Match - Homicide vs. Delirious Homicide defeated Delirious with a Da' Gringo Killa Match Notes: Homicide shows an intensity not seen in recent matches.
HA-156 CD-128
- Crusade Match Non-Title - Eddie Kingston vs. Kevin Sullivan Eddie Kingston defeated Kevin Sullivan with a Disqualification Match Notes: Sullivan appears to be on the verge of losing another non-title match, so several members of the CD interfere for the DQ.
HA-158 CD-129
After the bell, Kingston took the mic.
I'm assuming the rest of us not participating in this grand plan called The Match Beyond will get to wrestle on the 1st Anniversary show. I want Sullivan one more time...No DQ. I don't even care about the title right now. I want Sullivan the man, such as he is...Sullivan the champion can grease up that title and shove it up his ass!

- Announcements Regarding the 1st Anniversary Show, DixieSlam 2 and the end of the Crusade - Bill Apter comes to the ring. He reminds everyone about the main event of tomorrow night's 1st Anniversary show, the War Games/The Match Beyond. He goes on to say that he's here to announce the rest of the card. All matches will be No Disqualification.
The tag teams in The Crusade will be representing in an 8-man tag team match pitting War Machine and BLKOUT against Broken Souls and The Batiri.
The Women will be tagging up with Saturyne and Jessica Havok versus Lufisto and Leva Bates.
The rest of the evening will consist of the following singles matches. Eddie Kingston vs. Kevin Sullivan in their final battle. Of course, Kevin isn't obligated to make it a title match and to no one's surprise, has chosen not to do so.
Homicide vs. Sabu
Brian Cage vs. Lord Zoltan
Matt Tremont vs. Kobold
Sage Strong vs. The Swamp Monster in a rematch from last week's show that saw Strong lose to the Monster. Strong demanded this rematch. The Monster didn't care either way.
That leaves the odd man, or in this case woman, out. Even that has been worked out, however. On the final night of the Crusade, The Heart Attack will welcome Madison Rayne to their ranks to take on Mary Dobson.
That's what will happen tomorrow night at the 1st Anniversary Show. Unfortunately, DixieSlam 2 is up in the air and will be until after tomorrow night. Both sides have plans in place for when they win. HoD doesn't want to play it's hand by revealing anything ahead of time, and ShadowHeart's only comment was that "heads will roll."
