‘STARS OF THE GALAXY - VOLUME FOUR’ released.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Vanity’s fashion tips as he is seen shopping for some of the galaxy’s finest evening wear. Inside the renowned Deimos Mall he is trying on some trousers that cost over a thousand dollars. Clearly he has put on weight as they are a snug fit and embarrassingly the fabric tears to end this skit ... Cannibal invites the film makers of this tape to join his team for dinner. A rowdy feast plays out with Draconian Sheik constantly being admonished by Cannibal for his bad table manners. Death’s Head demonstrates strange mannerisms rocking back and forth in his chair whilst waiting for his food and practising FUNERAL MARCH on the wooden table. They start with soup which everyone seems to enjoy and then Cycle Hog brings out a large bowl full of meat (picking at pieces as he goes). The group devours the meal. Wiping his mouth the director, a chap called Teck, says to Cannibal “wow, that was delicious. What was that stuff?”. Giving a huge distrustful grin Cannibal responds “that my friend, was my old Uncle Ned. Poor sod died yesterday but this is what he would of wanted!” Teck’s face turns to horror right in front of the camera and the video ends ... Some brave soul snuck a webcam into the Aethran War Dome during GALACTICON. When GWF cards are not being staged there it is used for training soldiers and also capital punishment events. In a streaming scene that comes with warnings a poor prisoner of war is subjected to 10 lashes in front of stomping Aethran citizens. Nobody in the crowd takes pity on him. They all stomp with approval after each lash. The feed is cut short as one of the guards discovers the webcam and promptly destroys it. Thakur has tried to get the footage confiscated but the producers of this tape wanted to make a statement about the barbaric Aethran society and got clearance to release it as long as appropriate warnings accompanied it. Rants come out of Aethra that if the individuals responsible for planting the cam are ever discovered they will be hunted down and punished. Future events will feature intense scrutinies to prevent more secrets getting out. Naturally the people who brought this footage to the tape makers have gone into hiding ... Commissioner Carter exclusive as he speaks about his time running the GWF and how he plans to spend his retirement. He admits that he will miss the day to day buzz of it all but that he is getting old and worries he won’t be up to the job if he stays on too long. When he found that he was needing regular power naps to see him through his working days he knew it was time to stop. When he retires he plans to catch up on some of the hobbies which he has neglected for so long. Revealing he is an avid chess player and enjoys tending to his garden (we are taken on a tour of his home and he takes great pride on showing off his beautifully manicured lawns). Of course he will also look forward to spending more time with his camera shy wife and evergrowing family. Finally he gives some assurances about the future of the GWF, “I already know the guy who’ll be succeeding me and trust me things are in good hands. He is an old school legend and will prove very popular”.
MATCHES
Civil War Matches (1 Thakur roll covers them all - comes up as regional promoter to decide, for simplicity the matches are booked as regular matches):
Vengeance teaches Massacre a lesson. In truth Massacre doesn’t wrestle too badly but doesn’t have the potent singles finisher to really threaten Vengeance. At least he annoys him by no selling LETHAL CATAPULT. However, the move does lasting damage and a few tokens later Massacre takes a turnbuckle crack to end his resistance
Mayhem wins a wild match over Spike. Thrash showing her value to the Vanguard by helping Mayhem survive MEGADESTROYER. He doesn’t show any gratitude to her though which just shows where Aethran females are in the pecking order. LEAP OF DOOM (+6) wraps up a very impressive win
Wolf and Brute beat Thunder and Overkill by DQ. In a move intended to wind their opponents up Brute wears his tag belt to the ring but Thakur (in a ringside attendance) orders him to take it off. Rumours that Brute tried to get Wolf to wear the other belt after Masscre agrees to loan it to him. Wolf in an unpredictable fit of rage threw it against the wall vowing never to wear something he hasn’t earned himself which led to tensions between Brute and himself before the bout. It shows as the two don’t communicate and barely exchange tags. They are clearly second best to Thunder and Overkill but edge a victory when Overkill (perhaps trying too hard to impress Thakur) picks Wolf up above his head and throws him into the crowd. The ref in charge is a known stickler and instantly calls for the bell which prevents a Vanguard sweep
Other matches
Exo-King and Jack of Diamonds beat Crypt of Terror by DQ. The Royal duo looking a bit green after a stink bomb incident before the match. Trying to put this behind them they show they haven’t lost much of their teaming abilities despite no longer using the Royal Blood name. Ram needing help to stay in it after CORONATION CEREMONY (+5). When Ram does stage a comeback he makes the mistake of handing off to Pharaoh Khety who then brings more pressure on the team. It’s no surprise in their desperation that the Brotherhood team tries to bend the rules to fend off Jack of Diamonds who is on the cusp of pinning Khety
Defender of the Realm labours to a win over Cycle Hog. DEFENDER CANNON is what overcomes Hog. Defender wrestled in a clown suit to apparently help conquer a fear of clowns! Still touchy when questions posted about his sanity and he swiftly makes a costume change into a serious business suit for a post match interview
Generation X defeat the Henchmen by DQ. Doomsayer waltzes in and looks to be closing in on Marcel de Sade whilst he is on the ring apron and Dreadnaught is busy wrestling. Spotting what he thinks is a weapon de Sade tries to keep a safe distance. Doomsayer holds his arms up to show he is unarmed and eventually says something to de Sade and leaves. The reaction of de Sade is one of discomfort. Angered by what de Sade tells him Dreadnaught immediately leaves the match and picks up Grunge’s guitar and says he will hunt Doomsayer down. Generation X cuts him off so Dreadnaught swings at them forcing them to stop obstructing his path. The match is over and everyone is left wondering just what had been said. Dreadnaught reveals later that Doomsayer offered to let de Sade use the TRANSEVOLVER and urged him to think it over, “I will try and convince him it’s a bad idea. Look at what it has done to my body. I am still one of the greats but every morning I wake up in pain. I blame Doomsayer for that”
Enigma looking majestic against Pollux. Okay the opposition isn’t up to much but there is no doubting Enigma is the great entertainer of the entire roster. FEET OF FURY always brings people to their feet and it does so again here
The Creeper defeats Monad in a huge surprise. The Creeper is getting pummelled by Monad but Terak refuses to throw in the towel. The gamble pays off as the Creeper suddenly gets some shots in. Creeper Grip and Skullcracker puts Monad on the deck, stunned just long enough to get the three count.

GWF REPORT (CIVIL WAR 2100 CARDS 653 - 656)
Champions
* GWF Galaxian Champ: Chaos (Top Contender: Spike) * GWF Tag Champs: Brute and Massacre (Top Contenders: Superiority Complex) * GWF Interplanetary Champ: Ursa Major (Top Contender: Vengeance)
Latest News:
OTB REVIEW … Both Gladiator teams are in high spirits as they toast a glorious OTB tournament winning the Heavyweight singles (Spike) and Hardcore (Mayhem). The only blemish for the Gladiators is that it wasn’t such a good tournament for Wolf as he struggled under the weight of expectation and went out to Mayhem. Everyone had expected him to deliver a fourth consecutive Hardcore success. Honorouble mentions must go to … Vyper who must be on cloud nine after blazing a trail in the Hardcore tournament. Max Shield showed nerves of steel in his first tournament match ups and becomes a media darling for beating Chaos. He has put his homeworld of Omicron on the map. Superiority Complex delivering again and now looking to cash in on their success to make a tag title challenge. They are also already looking ahead to next year and defending their trophies in what will be an OTB milestone as it will be the tenth staging of the event. Will this special occasion be marked? Depressing state of affairs on the WAR team. Raven and New Order both bombed out in the opening round. The signs have been there for a while. Holocaust gives a rallying cry. Impressed by his attitude Destructon 3000 has named him the unofficial ‘team captain’ and hopes he can inspire his mates.Another guy suffering a dip as a result of the event is Colussus. He suddenly lost all his confidence and was absolutely blown away in the cage by Mayhem. Omega is left picking up the pieces and tells him the best thing is to get straight back on the saddle. Janus twists the knife in by saying Colussus threw his match on purpose because he was worried about meeting him in the next round (though Janus ended up losing his match too).
Ursa Major is being groomed for greatness after shocking Vengeance. Coming out of nowhere to win the IP belt. For sure he has heaps of talent but nobody saw this coming. An immediate rematch is booked. Can the young Titan defend it and write himself into history books as a holder of the belt.
Tension grows between the Matador and Morpheus. The Matador has pretty much left the Citadel of the Elite and calls Morpheus a con artist for making big promises to keep him on the team but then failing to deliver and favouring Chaos. The big man has seen fit to belittle his former mate by describing him as his scout before entering the GWF in 2092. He boasts “I took him under my wing and taught him everything he knows. Then I sent him to spy on the GWF for me. He did quite a good job but now he thinks he is a bigger star than me”. In fact that is his nickname for the Matador and he has been calling him ‘Scout’ at every opportunity. Chaos also turns his attentions to crushing his old adversary Alpha Force and re-ignites the classic feud by describing him as a gnat. Alpha Force challenges Chaos to face him in matches (maybe for the belt) without his Alpha Stone but as at time of writing still awaits a response. Morpheus jibes Omega by saying “it’s amazing how when something sparkly comes into view his team suddenly wants to wrestle us. It’s a cheeky move by Omega as he thinks his team is the only hero team that should be allowed to challenge us. It’s a move tinged with desperation to try and make his failing team look relevant”. Placid response from Omega, “Morpheus can think what he likes. All my team cares about is winning matches, entertaining the fans and upholding hero principles. If we win gold whilst doing those things it’s a nice bonus”.
Exo-King at the end of his tether with Defender of the Realm. Although Defender is off the team Exo-King still can’t help looking out for him but the latest incident maybe a step too far. Defender lets off some remotely controlled stink bombs in their dressing room at the STARS OF THE GALAXY taping.
Doomsayer’s plan to use Mutant as a lab rat in a TRANSEVOLVER test is intercepted by Galactic authorities. Frustrated and stuck with what he sees a useless parasitic drain on the team he then releases the Mutant as a stray. Who will take responsibility for Mutant now it has been cut loose? Authorities try to put it back in the care of Cannibal who’d had the Mutant chipped and registered to his team. Attempts to re-unite the long lost pet with it’s master fail as Cannibal threatens to boil their bones and then shuts the door in their faces. For now the GWF has taken pity on it and agreed to oversee it’s safety. The plan is to allow the Mutant to continuing wrestling on various cards as a loner but they are actively advertising for an owner to take it on and provide a good loving home.
After a massive gap of 283 cards (that’s almost 6 years in my fed) without the belts Brute and Massacre finally win them again! The Legends team have been put in the shade by the Vanguard when it comes to holding gold but this unexpected victory has propelled them back into Thakur’s good books. Although OTB success still eludes them and will forever remain a blot on their copybook.
To soften the blow of losing the tag belts there is some good news for US. Patriot and Ms. Liberty as they plan to renew their wedding vows in January 2101. This love story is stronger than ever and they want to share the event with all their friends, family and fans in the GWF. Sadly Ms. Liberty’s father passed away several years ago so she asks Commander Sam to walk her down the aisle as she now sees him as a father figure. Sam is deeply honoured and in a moving moment looks like he may shed a tear when asked about it (he just about sucks his emotions in). US. Patriot wants the whole thing to be just like another wedding and will even appoint a best man and have a bachelor party (something he didn’t do last time due to his wrestling schedule). Several guys vying for the best man spot. Justice, Lance At-Las and Star Warrior have all forged close relationships with Adam down the years. There will also be a honeymoon which is another tradition they didn’t do after the wedding. The destination (they hope) will be a closely guarded secret. Probably wise to keep this info away from their feud enemies.
Dreadnaught revelling in a recent upset win against Monad. Everybody thought he would be dismantled but he rolled back the years and dominated. Doomsayer is hurting that his creation failed so badly (and overall has been a disappointment with no belt success). In a weak attempt to cover up the loss Doomsayer claims it doesn’t count because the match was not televised. Dreadnaught is keen to point out the both Doomsayer and Monad also struggled in a recent tag match against the Henchmen and were extremelty fortunate to escape with a DQ win, “everyone knows we were the true winners of that match up” quips Dreadnaught, “and it will be a springboard to further tag success”.
PAYBACK TIME FROM THE GLADIATORS! Action is coming thick and fast for Krakan’s guys. The Gladiators have been a ticking time bomb ever since Splatter attacked Mayhem a while back. Now the roles are reversed and they are ready to address the issue. Thakur rules that Civil War be put on hiatus for one month so that the Gladiators can punish the Hitmen and deal with some title match opportunities. Here’s a sneak preview of some of the matches that’ll be taking centre stage … #657, the Mercenaries against Thunder and Overkill … #658, Vigilante versus Thunder and Soldier of Fortune against the might of Spike … #659, Vengeance taking on Splatter in what could be the bloodiest of all the battles … #660, the Mercenaries against Brute and Massacre (sadly no belts being laid on the line) and finally Mayhem will lock horns with Splatter. Hopefully that one will be booked as a cage match. CIVIL WAR WATCH - it’s been a crazy year so far in this feud. The Vanguard started it with what I thought was a decent lead on the Legends. As things have gone on they’ve added GWF belts to their successes yet the Legends have closed in (and added belt success themselves). Not done it in a while but surprisingly a quick check on the win/loss records shows the Legends quite some way out in front. Added to this blow Vengeance dropped the IP belt in a stunning loss to Ursa Major and Mayhem failed to reclaim the Heavyweight belt dealing the Vangaurd some harsh blows. Pressure now builds on them. They might be forgiven in thinking OTB Hardcore glory for Mayhem gives them bragging rights but then Spike matched that success in the Heavyweight singes tournament. So the wins cancel eachother out. Now we move to a break in the Civil War as the Gladiators deal with the Hitmen. They partly lay blame on Krakan for weakening Mayhem and scuppering their plans to dominate all the main belts. After that Thakur is ready to really ramp up the scheduling as this legendary battle enters the final furlong.
WHOSE HOT – Spike, Mayhem, Vyper, Max Shield, Thantos, Ursa Major, Draconian Sheik, Janus, Dreadnaught, Overkill, Stalker, the Mercenaries, Brute and Massacre, Superiority Complex WHOSE NOT – Bishop Hell, Mandrill, Raven, Colussus, Rising Sun, Sam’s Squadron, New Order INJURED – none; SUSPENDED – Splatter (1)
Wrestler of the Month: VYPER – It’s not all about winning tournaments or holding belts. Vyper edges the latest singles award over Spike and Max Shield for his efforts at OTB in reaching the final where he more than held his own against Mayhem. He performed above all expectations and shows how much he has improved.
Tag Team of the Month: BRUTE AND MASSACRE - The belts are finally back on them! It was billed as their last shot at glory and the Legendary headbangers duly took it. Recent years haven’t gone their way but they surely are one of the greatest tag teams ever having held the belts 6 times which includes a record reign of 64 cards.

DARK MATCHES - Triton Pavilion
Bishop Hell blinds Heracles with HELLFIRE in the showpiece match. Heracles rubbing his eyes after the move and critical of the referee for missing it
Marcel de Sade beat Enigma by DQ. Out of respect to his former pal, Darkos stays away from ringside. Marcel de Sade doubts the sincerity as he knows what Darkos is like. Doomsayer’s approach towards Marcel de Sade at STARS OF THE GALAXY is also still playing on his mind. Sure enough Doomsayer shows up with Monad following behind him. Marcel de Sade flips out thinking they are going to try and drag him away. As they all start arguing Enigma floors de Sade from behind. The ref sees this an act of aggression and rules the DQ
Holocaust makes short work of Cycle Hog. An explosive clothesline quickly followed by SHOCKWAVE (+5) brings things to a close in just over a minute
Flamboyance overcomes the Pillars of Power. Vanity gets one over his old partner as he pins Dynamo. The ladies stole the show though. Cassandra and Maxine Babe insulting one another with bitchy comments about looks and ending up grappling. Good news for the all men in the audience as they were tearing at clothes and Maxine Babe ended up in her underwear
The Enforcers beat the Zodiac. No problem for Terak’s team. He proudly oversees a routine victory for Stalker catching Mesmer with CALL OF THE WILD. The Enforcers hoping to show they are not a flash in the pan and can rise near the top of the rankings again
Star Warrior beats Grunge with COSMIC BIG BANG. Grunge grumpy having only just sobered up after downing Triton Ales at a nearby pub earlier in the day, he refuses interviews “leave me alone. I’ve got a hangover”.
DARK MATCHES - Oberon Civic Center
Matador of M83 pinned Wolf in a mega main event match via BULLWHIP. Matador may be out in the wilderness with a reported free agent status but his form is back to being hot. What of Wolf, he continues to defy the Gladiators by going ahead and signing this match up without approval from Thakur
Flamboyance defeat New Order by DQ. Groans from the fans as New Order crash again. Flamboyance celebrate like they’ve won the belts to rub it in. They are on a roll
Terak and the Creeper beat Demons of Hydra by DQ. At first the Demons were far too slick for Terak and the Creeper and nearly finished Terak early with THE FINAL ORACLE. The Creeper on hand to instinctively help it’s master. The near miss galvanises Terak who gets on a run and has a similar close call with BARBARIAN SHUFFE on Demon. Somewhat frustrated the Demons start going for cheap shots and stealth weapon attacks. They didn’t count on Darkos abandoning them and not being there to pull a distraction. He suddenly takes a call about a part in a play and scurries off
Enigma easily beats Marcel de Sade. Rematch. Darkos reminds Doomsayer to stay away so Enigma can get the win, “Doomsayer is a great man and a genius I totally admire. I just reminded him that there are so many corrupt referees out there they will look for any excuse to disqualify Enigma. I think we understand each other”. The wishes seem to be respected as Enigma completes a fast victory thanks to FEET OF FURY. He then humiliates de Sade by calling him a joke of a wrestler who should of retired long ago and puts his partner Dreadnaught in the same category
Maxine Babe defeated Cassandra. Booked by popular demand. Wild. Cassandra sends Maxine Babe into a rage by throwing her make up bag into the crowd. Maxine Babe goes crazy and completely overwhelms Cassandra who cannot believe the reaction. She is powerless to prevent a loss that comes after DUDE’S CHOICE and a running slam. Where did all that come from? Dynamo is quickly on the scene and grabs Maxine Babe from behind. Cassandra is able to recover and together they strip Maxine Babe to her undies again and then wash all her make up off. Dynamo then holds her down so Cassandra can slap Maxine Babe repeatedly round the face
Max Shield versus Mutant ends double DQ. Trying to keep hot after OTB Max goes against the wild Mutant. He is probably expecting an easy ride but quickly finds he must keep on his toes as Mutant’s unpredictable attacks unsettle him. He tries to get out the ring to let it cool off but Mutant just follows him and picks up a table and rushes at him. Max finds a chair with which to defend himself. The bell rings and the match is called off. Max thinks the decision is harsh on him, “what do they expect? Should of I just let that thing attack me with a weapon”.
NEWS UPDATE ... Dark match news is sometimes hard to get hold of and verify but the humiliation of Maxine Babe by Cassandra and Dynamo made the headlines. Maxine Babe beaten round the face til she was black and blue. Being so vain about her looks she refuses to leave her house until the bruising and swelling goes down. What will Vanity do about it (if anything)? ... Wolf in hot water with Thakur over disrespecting behaviour. A developing story but more still to be said (see latest news action write up).

Card 657 – Capella Star Gardens:
Tag champs, Brute and Massacre, keep the belts after beating Superiority Complex. Morpheus claims his team have the mental edge after beating the Gladiators on the way to OTB glory but this time it’s different. The Gladiator Legends aren’t about to let the titles slip from their grasp so quickly. A long contest which probably could of gone either way ends with DECAPITATOR being used on Skinhead
Chaos strolls to a non-title bout win over Kati. Citadel members gunning for Kati who has beaten the Matador twice (the Matador may no longer be a part of the team but the defeats still brought shame on the Elite). Terak joins Kati at ringside. It’s nothing more than a symbolic gesture as Terak has no intentions to get involved as Morpheus nullifies his threat. Kati is still sporting a nasty scar from his recent meeting with Vengeance. Unfortunately he barely lasts more than a few minutes as BOW OF DEFEAT gets the better of him. Kati is bleeding again and in need of treatment. The last couple of matches have left him questioning whether he wants to continue being a part of this violent GWF battleground
Thunder and Overkill show their superiority over the Mercenaries. Krakan is at ringside but doesn’t approach Thrash despite noise on social media that he fancies her and loves her aggressive style. He is trying to sweep such rumouring under the carpet claiming an imposter set up an account on Spacebook imitating him when the picture and comment about Thrash went up stating “that’s a real woman there”. Instead he chooses to remind everyone that Splatter has almost served out his suspension and warn everyone in the GWF to watch their backs, “nobody is safe from the lottery”. No acknowledgement from the Gladiators as they don’t do social media and never post any content. Perhaps he should of kept a closer eye on the match instead of rambling on about the return of Splatter. His team struggles to deal with the considerable power of Overkill who does a good job of damaging Vigilante with TURNBUCKLE TRAP a couple of times. Although Krakan does manage to pull a stunt to get the Mercenaries on top it doesn’t last. Thunder is able to take advantage of Vigilante being fatigued and is able to pin him following a devastating Gladiator Piledriver
Colussus beat Vengeance by DQ. Colussus trying show he has got some backbone and the stomach for hardcore action. He is in a strong position as most of Vengeance’s blows fall on his robot side. But Vengeance is smart, he knows Colussus is lacking confidence when put into any hardcore situation. Gives Thrash an instruction and manages to pitch Colussus over the ropes towards her. Colussus sees Thrash smiling at him as she slowly slips on some brass knuckles. He goes down in front of her on his knees begging not to be hurt. The ref jumps down and Thrash stops approaching. She leaves with Vengeance as the verdict is announced. Vengeance happy to take the DQ loss because “seeing Colussus begging and sobbing like a coward was better than winning the match”
The match between the Enforcers and the Henchmen descends into double DQ chaos. The Henchmen getting a bit of a pasting from the crowd, they are difficult to categorise as essentially they are heel wrestlers but have close links to the hero team and do mostly fight against the villains. They certainly live up to the heel billing here as de Sade starts a brawl following Wildcat’s pin attempt on Dreadnaught. The ref tries valiantly to restore order and gives it as long as possible but ultimately has to give up. Not much chance of this being scheduled for a rematch though as fan surveys after the card rated this the worst match of the show
Powerhouse beat Pegasus by DQ. Wow, totally unexpected match. The fans really behind Pegasus as he enters. He is waving to them and loving the support. Unfortunately he seems too eager to please. In trying to finish Powerhouse off he goes a bit too far but the signs are encouraging. Surely a return in 2101 and looking more and more likely that a hero turn is going to happen.
Card 658 – Capella Star Gardens:
Colonizer belt match, Mandrill beats the Creeper by DQ. Barely able to bother defending the belt Mandrill doesn’t even come out wearing it. He just looks angry that things didn’t go his way last month whilst Max Shield is showered with praise, “Max is trying to make a fool of me. I will beat him in the ring soon and make those freaks on his homeworld suffer to remind him who is boss”. When he sees Terak walking up alongside the Creeper he diverts his anger and refuses to put the belt on the line unless Terak leaves. Seeing it’s master depart confuses the Creeper and it goes crazy. Mandrill manages to grab hold of it and nail a Prime Piledriver. All it does is momentarily stun the Creeper for it soon recovers and leaves the ring turning over anything in it’s path around the ring in looking for Terak. Several staff get hurt and the ref ends the match so that can Terak can come back out and calm things down
Soldier of Fortune doles out a damaging defeat to Spike. Knowing that Spike will soon be facing Chaos for the prized Heavyweight belt there is chatter that Morpheus tried to pay Krakan to make sure Soldier of Fortune does a job on him. Krakan reported to of thrown the cash back in his face. Attentions back on the match and Soldier of Fortune is trying to live with his superior opponent. He gets a few good hits in but is largely outclassed. When Spike hits MEGADESTROYER it looks for all the galaxy that it’s over. But Spike didn’t reckon on Krakan. He moves across and rings the timekeeper’s bell breaking the referee’s count! Whilst the referee argues with the ringside and officials and Spike over what happened Soldier of Fortune is able to get back to his feet and blast the unsuspecting Spike with THE REVENGER. The ref pauses but then urged on by Krakan gets down and makes the count in favour of his man
The Enforcers beat Splatter and Draconian Sheik. Drac seems obsessed with Splatter’s club Arsenal. He picks it up and doesn’t know what to do with it. When Splatter tries to take it off him he ends up attacking. With the two partners brawling the Enforcers just back away and quietly accepts the ref’s verdict of DQ victory. Krakan and Cannibal had put these two together as on paper this could be a barbaric hardcore team nobody would be able to cope with. The dream quickly ends as in reality it was a disaster
Thantos and Marcel de Sade win big against the Pillars of Power. With Thantos leading the team they fight to a DQ victory. Marcel de Sade keeping busy, he is getting older but is more active on the GWF roster than ever. Unfortunately he struggles in the match and is under a lot of bombardment. Thantos is unable to get into the ring for a long time to help his partner. Eventually the hot tag comes and it is just in time as de Sade is dead on his feet. Thantos is pumped and really takes it to the Pillars (especially Powerhouse). The old master is dominant and continues to have one of his best years since he joined the hero team
Vigilante defeated Thunder with POLICE BRUTALITY in a match with nobody at ringside. Both guys serving up a match to remind us all that they are more than simply tag specialists. Thunder almost winning with THUNDERCLAP but Vigilante storms back. Both guys commended for keeping the action in the ring and refusing opportunities to roll outside for breathers
Defender of the Realm pinned Vanity after a Court Cruncher. Maxine Babe missing but still part of the story. Defender was caught gawping at her at a GWF promo event last month. Although Vanity often treats her like dirt he seems to get very jealous and wants this match. He seems to mean business judging by the way he began but without anyone to pull distractions his offence is pretty toothless. Inevitable Defender gets the better of him.

Card 659 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Johnny Rocket’s Launching Pad …. Chaos .... Chaos arrogantly predicts the Citadel will plunder all the riches the GWF has to offer now that the poisonous presence of the Matador has departed. He says soon Janus will win the IP belt and Superiority Complex the tag belts. Johnny seems to be sucking up to Chaos a lot. The praise goes to the big man’s head and he instantly declares his up and coming title match against Spike a Titan Death match. By booking it as winner takes all it will only make his domination of the GWF more obvious. He also has words for Max Shield accusing him of cheating to beat him at OTB, “I won’t interfere in his feud with Mandrill. Let them both tear each other apart but rest assured I am keeping an eye on him. Nobody upstages Chaos”. The segment is just about to end when Alpha Force comes onto set. Spurred by recent comments by Chaos he thinks now is the time to resurrect their classic feud especially now the prized Heavyweight belt is in the mix again. He challenges Chaos for it. Chaos refuses on the spot saying a title match must be earned and that Alpha Force is languishing at the bottom of the rankings, “I will not lower myself to it, it will disrespect the title which only deserves to be worn by the greatest wrestlers in the galaxy. Namely me!” Alpha Force responds “fine, I just might take this up with the Commissioner’s office if your too yellow”. As Alpha Force says this Chaos loses control and starts raising his voice. He moves as if he wants to apply BOW OF DEFEAT but then notices several local wrestlers sensing a scene are surrounding the set ready to break up any potential brawl. Chaos puts his arms down but continues shouting directly at Alpha Force who remains poker faced. Eventually Chaos tires of the whole episode and leaves. To be continued ...)
Matador of M83 efficiently sees off Killer Queen thanks to BULLWHIP. Killer Queen being ultra extravagant in trying to throw the Matador off his game. The Matador doesn’t flinch, he is not going to let anything affect his concentration. Initially he is happy to let Killer Queen dictate the tempo and waits for his chance to counter and take control. Queenie continues showboating and turns his back allowing the Matador to strike. A torpedo dive and an awesome one leg karate kick serving as setups. They are textbook moves befitting his incredible talents. As the arm is raised in victory it is notable that the Matador is looking more relaxed than he has in months. He never says much but being free of the Citadel team makes him feel liberated. His wrestling form is hot and he is very close to receiving a title shot. If he challenges Chaos for the title it will most certainly burn all bridges with the Citadel of the Elite once and for all
Dreadnaught beat Soldier of Fortune by DQ. The old rivalries never die. Krakan may be thinking Soldier of Fortune should be focused on the current enemies of the Hitmen but he cannot stand in his way when another opportunity to face Dreadnaught comes up. Also with a recent win over Spike it seems Soldier of Fortune is making a name for himself in singles action again (remember that surprise reign as IP champion). A chance to build on that success ends up stumbling as he loses on a technicality. Seen as the instigator of a brawl he gets himself disqualified. Maybe Krakan, as his manager, could of done more to mask what he was doing but let’s not go there
Thantos shows Prodigy who is boss. Thantos is trying to keep his surprise singles success going and aiming to teach the arrogant Prodigy there is no better thing than experience. Although he struggles to keep up with Prodigy at first he uses all his experience and in-ring stamina to grind out a victory made possible by an exquisitely timed Satanic Skull Smasher. Although the media tries to make a big thing of it being a key outcome in the Champions-Citadel feud the match obviously didn’t mean a great deal to Morpheus. He isn’t even in the same galaxy let alone being at ringside
Splatter goes over Vengeance by DQ verdict. Does Krakan even know what he is doing with Splatter at the moment? One minute he is throwing him into a tag team with Draconian Sheik and now he is back on singles duty at first with instructions to capture a singles belt and then changing his mind again by saying the focus is on the lottery and maiming all and sundry. Perhaps Splatter is confused by it all because he fails to raise his level to anything like the hardcore style he is accustomed to. Instead Vengeance leads the tempo and is the one pulling tricks and doing spiteful things. Vengeance even goes to pick up Arsenal for a closer look but the ref attempts to pull it out of his hands. Annoyed that this puny man is getting in his way Vengeance pushes him violently to one side hence the outcome
Vyper beat Marcel de Sade. Marcel de Sade fighting on all fronts. Wrestling friends and enemies alike. He is the underdog as Vyper is expected to win big given his surging form. However Vyper almost suffers a blip with de Sade having a couple of strong pin fall shouts. It takes time but Vyper eventually gets his act together and is able to finish the bout with VYPER’S SIDESHOW. Vyper thinks about unravelling a huge snake over his beaten opponent but then has a change of heart. Instead he gently slaps de Sade about the face to help revive him and offers a parting handshake which is accepted. What a difference a year makes, he truly is a changed man. Now much improved and very popular especially after his recent strong runs at the IP belt and also in the OTB Hardcore bracket
Titan Wrestling defeated Vanity and Gemini with Ursa Major pinning Vanity. Maxine Babe seen in public for first time since Cassandra slapped her about. The bruising barely visible under heavy make up. On the other side there are massive cheers for Ursa Major who is carrying his IP belt with him and letting fans touch it. There are many doubts about whether he’ll be able to hold onto it (with some wrestling experts calling his title win a fluke) but whatever happens it is great to see him coming out for a tag team match one card before his first title defense. Shows he hasn’t forgotten his tag roots and is a total team player and one the Titans are immensely proud of. The feelgood factor continues as a decent match culminates in Ursa Major using his SHOTGUN CRADLE on Vanity to nail the victory.

Card 660 – NETWORK DEIMOS WRESTLING – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Heavyweight Belt Match, Spike shocks Chaos to become the new champ. Huge match up now with Titan Death stipulations. Mild heat built up between Chaos and the Gladiators (see latest news section above). Chaos is back to his arrogant best. Probably because he is the champ again he has seen fit to start really shooting his mouth off lately with all sorts of guys and groups being targeted. It gives this particular battle a real edge of intensity. You can feel the atmosphere as the two behemoths square up chest to chest in the middle awaiting the bell. It’s not often Spike has someone hulking over him. The early exchanges don’t resemble much wrestling. Momentum passes back and forth as they exchange power moves but it’s evident Chaos does hold a slight advantage in this area. Sometimes these matches don’t make for a classic as two guys can cancel one another out and that is certainly the case here. Something desperately needs to happen to get things going. Finally after about ten minutes it does as the Alpha Stone starts blinking and then loses it’s glow. The power fades and Chaos starts to look edgy. Suddenly the strength advantage he was so heavily reliant on is gone and Spike grows in confidence. The crowd is right behind Spike now (though he ignores their cheers) as he rocks Chaos and with the champ wobbling unleashes the devastation of MEGADESTROYER. He makes the most of the situation before the Alpha Stone has a chance to recover it’s power and galvanise Chaos. As the move hits Chaos looks so weak. He goes down like a lead balloon and offers no resistance as Spike stands on him for the pin. He keeps his foot planted upon on his chest as he is handed the belt in a sign of Gladiator superiority. He knows this is a big moment and will resonate massively with Thakur (especially as Vengeance has disappointed him by failing to win back the IP belt and thus blowing the chance of a Gladiator sweep of all the titles). The main thing for the Legends is they have an achievement to match the Vanguard now. Between them during the Civil War both Gladiator teams have won many things despite all the distractions (Heavyweight gold x2, Tag and IP belts plus OTB success in both Tag and Hardcore brackets). But what of Chaos? How does he recover from such a big setback?
Interplanetary champ, Ursa Major, lost to Vengeance by DQ. An immediate chance to reclaim the belt is gobbled up by Vengeance. He pulverises Ursa Major who is unable to repeat his heroics of the last bout. But before he can complete the inevitable pin triumph Wolf shows his unpredictable side steaming in out of nowhere attacking Vengeance and costing the chance to win the belt as the ref reacts to this calling DQ against Ursa Major. Vengeance pulls a weapon from his boot and just about fights him off but fumes at being deprived of being able to become champ. Bloody revenge is promised on Wolf. Just when the fuss had died down rumours break of an incredible approach by Krakan (spurred by the current Gladiator-Hitmen conflict) to longtime enemies Trainer Jim and Lord Nexus offering to have Vengeance ‘beat up’ before the match. Suffice to say come the opening bell there is no evidence of this happening. In the post match analysis Trainer Jim is quick to dismiss it, “even if it were true we would never allow it to happen. It goes against everything the Fighting Titans stand for. I am just thankful Ursa Major got through it and is ok. I admit we are lucky to still have the belt but make no apologies. We can’t control what other guys like Wolf might do. It’s their own fault this Civil War is happening”
The Mercenaries best Brute and Massacre but sadly for them it’s only a non-title match. Big battle between two of the best teams in GWF history. Often overshadowed of late by the new breed of teams so it’s good to see them both back at the top of the tag team division. Krakan suggests Brute and Massacre should of put the belts on line but Massacre says “why would we if we don’t have to”. Just as well they weren’t as the Mercenaries win when Vigilante manages to pin Brute. The Hitmen just about faring better in this match series with the Gladiators with the Vanguard offering the better challenge than the Legends side
Mayhem overcomes Splatter. Splatter stokes things up by calling Mayhem a coward for refusing the chance to make this a cage match. Mayhem screams “Shut your face. I don’t know what he is talking about it”. Splatter probably unintentionally fired Mayhem up even more than he usually he is. The wild Gladiator is so charged he even survives MEET ARSENAL with relative comfort. Splatter looks worried as Mayhem gets wilder and wilder culminating in LEAP OF DOOM twice (the first +6 one was stopped by Krakan but he was nowhere to be seen second time around). There is no kick out attempt and Mayhem celebrates by head butting every turnbuckle
Cage match, Colussus escapes against Janus. OTB comments from Janus touched a nerve. Colussus also reeling from a humiliation at the hands of Vengeance. He may not be entirely over his problems but receives a confidence booster here. He lays Janus with two of his own moves (Champion Super Drop and GORDION KNOT) to forge himself an unhindered escape path
Enigma totally outclassed Dreadnaught. Dreadnaught’s ears pricked after Enigma recently insulted the Henchmen by calling them a joke. He wants to teach the young upstart a lesson but instead gets a lesson himself. Enigma counters the first move, hits a flying cannonball and then FEET OF FURY for a dazzling three move victory
The Enforcers stay hot as they dominate the Demons of Hydra on their way to a DQ victory
Amazonia looking amazing as she beats Thrash. AMAZON ATTACK brings about Thrash’s downfall.

GWF REPORT (CIVIL WAR 2100 CARDS 657 - 660)
Champions
* GWF Galaxian Champ: Spike (Top Contender: not yet announced) * GWF Tag Champs: Brute and Massacre (Top Contenders: The Mercenaries) * GWF Interplanetary Champ: Ursa Major (Top Contender: Enigma)
Latest News:
Defender returns to the King’s Court with promises to control his quirky personality. How many more chances does this guy need?
The Gladiator-Hitmen match series ends. Honours just about even and now the Gladiators have got it out of their system Krakan will be happy. Nobody needs the Gladiators as enemies … But things don’t go quiet as Chaos now risks making enemies of the Gladiators as he belittles the Civil War in a public statement. Perhaps he is jealous that it has become more important than the Heavyweight title. Having dethroned Mayhem as the champ he didn’t think the achievement was given enough attentions on GWF shows. He then took to insulting the Gladiators only then to lose the strap to Spike. If he keeps this up he could be putting the Citadel in a difficult place and add more problems for his manager, Morpheus, who is already dealing with the loss of the Matador. Typical silence from the Gladiators and Thakur in the wake of such comments but this could be a slow build. The Gladiators do not take such things lightly and always seek revenge eventually as they have recently shown. They could wait until the Citadel thinks things have blown over and then come after them. Perhaps in 2101 when the Civil War is over?
The GWF continue to put pressure on Cannibal to take the Mutant back. They lost control of it at a recent event and a whole souvenir shop was destroyed. Cannibal pleads poverty and says he cannot afford to feed it. In the background a big hot dog van is seen pulling at team HQ with Draconian Sheik, Death’s Head and Cycle Hog swarming all over it.
Doomsayer’s offer to put Marcel de Sade through the TRANSEVOLVER remains on the table. He sweetens the deal by telling Dreadnaught he can join him if he likes. They all agree to meet but the meeting soon breaks down with Dreadnaught turning the table over before stomping off. Marcel de Sade is hesitant. He lingers in Doomsayer’s presence for a while longer before deciding to hurry after Dreadnaught. Is he considering it?
WAR continue to struggle. Despite Holocaust’s rallying cry last month they find themselves off the big shows and reduced to wrestling dark matches. Doomsayer isn’t even feuding with them at the moment as his team has featured most prominently against the Henchmen lately. Destructon 3000 has been holding team meetings.
Vanity challenges old partner Dynamo to face him in the ring. Maybe he does care about Maxine Babe after all. It’s the first match booked for the upcoming FRIGHT NIGHT event.
Colussus confidence crisis. His struggles with hardcore action are being made very public. In a few skits Colussus shows he is working on his problems by practising in Brass Knuckles matches in training. He will soon enter a barbed cage as part of the training plan Omega has setup for him. Speaking with up and coming reporter Qualitar he says “I’m working on it. I am a man of honour and believe wrestling should be fought fairly in the ring. I’ve done ok since entering the GWF but sometimes my internal circuitry does strange things to my mind. Even though I’ve been in the fed a almost 3 years now I just suddenly lost my confidence and aggression. I’ll be back to normal soon”. On the last show he did make some small strides in tackling the problem as he faced Janus in a cage. Despite not looking comfortable he raised his game and won the match.
Drama on set. The classic feud between Chaos and Alpha Force is ready to erupt again. The Launching Pad provided the scene for a face off between the two longtime enemies and resulted in Alpha Force challenging for the belt. The challenge was refused on the spot but there is no way Alpha Force is going to take no for an answer. Even though Chaos no longer possesses the gold Alpha Force still wants to get back into the ring with him and will not let this be an excuse not to face him.
Classic heel action on #659. Vyper and Marcel de Sade had a match. Vyper won it and they seemed to be on good terms by the end. But later reports surface that de Sade, bitter at the loss, tried to attack Vyper backstage whilst he was changing and freshening up leaving him with a bloody nose. Guess a leopard can never truly change it’s spots.
LATE BREAKING NEWS ... The Matador of M83 made an official title challenge to Chaos hours before the big man dropped the belt. Of course Spike now reigns as the champion so where will this go? Is Matador after the belt or Chaos? With Alpha Force is also in the mix trying to re-ignite his feud with Chaos there are some decisions to make for the Commissioner. CIVIL WAR WATCH ... The feud is back on track after being made to simmer in the background last month. Spike won the Heavyweight belt for the Gladiators and secured big bragging rights for the Legends BUT THERE ARE PROBLEMS … Wolf is at odds with Thakur over some of his actions. He signed (and lost) a dark match against the Matador without seeking permission thus bringing shame on Aethra and also caused damage to one of the sacred tag team belts at STARS OF THE GALAXY. Worse still was to come when Wolf piled into an Interplanetary title match between Vengeance and Ursa Major. He attacked Vengeance causing the Gladiators to miss out on a sweep of all the belts. When he refused to report back to Aethra for punishment (rumoured to be several public lashes in front of the public inside the War Dome) Thakur said the Legends will be deducted several points in the Civil War standings as a result. This could be very damaging and add further strain to his relationship with the other Legends. Does Wolf even care? In his mind he is not eligible to be retired and is already growing bored of this feud. (side note, I am not scoring this but will tot up win-loss records at the end. In my mind the revelation of a scoring system by Thakur is a surprise but it is highly secret and nobody will ever discover the standings or how the points are accumulated but this penalty will be a big blow to the Legends. Effectively this transgression could very well cost the Legends in this Civil War)
WHOSE HOT ... Spike, Colussus, Enigma, The Matador, The Mercenaries, The Enforcers, Flamboyance WHOSE NOT ... Chaos, Wolf, Janus, Heracles, Superiority Complex, New Order, Pillars of Power
INJURED – none; SUSPENDED – none
Wrestler of the Month: MATADOR OF M83 – Shows he won’t be pushed into the background by Morpheus. Risky move to lave the Citadel but instant impact as he posts major victories and a potential match with Chaos to come.
Tag Team of the Month: THE ENFORCERS – A very busy month for the Enforcers who are working their way back up the rankings. They picked up several key victories and are determined to prove their mettle again.

Card 661 – Io Coliseum:
CIVIL WAR matches (all booked as Titan Death) … THREE in total, the Civil War matches coming thick and fast. Important for the Vanguard as they win big tonight with a clean sweep (the clash between Spike and Vengeance being rated as the best)
In the main event match up Thunder and Overkill beat Brute and Massacre. Of course it’s not a title match but the outcome is devastating for the Legends. Overkill shows his amazing value to the Vanguard. His battle with Brute steals the show. The main highlight is when he cannot finish Brute with TURNBUCKLE TRAP and finds the tables turned. As Brute then goes for BRUTE FORCE it’s Thunder’s turn to show his tag team brilliance by reversing the pin attempt. It gets Overkill back in control and when they hit DECAPITATOR the pin attempt is quickly protected so that Thunder can win the match. Nice work from the Vanguard duo. Surely Thakur cannot retire these guys. They have a huge future in wrestling if they are allowed to continue
Mayhem defeated Wolf. Unbelievable, it’s over in two moves. Suspicions that they had already clashed before the bout at the back of the venue somewhere and Wolf has got badly injured. It means that when the ref starts the match he offers little resistance to Mayhem’s Gladiator Piledriver and LEAP OF DOOM (+5). Things not been going well for Wolf and tonight is probably his worst moment ever in the GWF
Vengeance defeated Spike. No Heavyweight belt on the line or even being worn by Spike. Thakur hates displays of self importance and orders that it remain in Aethra. Perhaps it’s absence had an effect on Spike as he falls to defeat. Not without a fight though (both were carrying 4 tokens by the end). Vengeance manages to cleverly use Eye Cleaver several times which slowly but surely damages Spike. It is all building to towards LETHAL CATAPULT. He knew if he could get the move off then Spike would be unlikely to kick out of any pin attempt. Sure enough it happened that way and Vengeance won. The devious Vengeance then declares himself champion of Aethra because he beat the champ. Just more ways to wind up the Legends
Other matches
Crypt of Terror overcame Thantos and Dreadnaught. The two vets probably deserved more respect from a muted crowd but all eyes are on the Civil War matches later in the show. Unfortunately these openers are just seen as time killers. Not to worry, they probably won’t want to be reminded of this one anyway. Thantos suffering a slip in his recent excellent form and dropping the ball for his team. Ram is able to gore him with RAM’S CHARGE to send his manager, the Occult Overlord, into an excited chant
Dreggs pinned Pollux. Nervous build up given the awful run WAR are suffering. Anything other than a pin victory would be subject to ridicule about how the team’s members cannot even pin Pollux. Thankfully Dreggs sets his stall out from the opening bell and needs only a couple of minutes before TWIST AND SHOUT yields success
Nothing to split Flamboyance versus Exo-King and Jack of Diamonds as a time limit draw plays itself out. Picking the best bits out from this – Maxine Babe back to form flashing her assets to help Vanity use LADIES CHOICE on both Jack and Exo-King. It fails to get the job done. Killer Queen also comes up short with WARP SPEED against his old mate, Exo-King. The Royal duo are finding Flamboyance tough to live with but just about cling on. It’s not all a one way street though as Jack eventually gets a decent run offence against Vanity only to be frustrated by DIAMOND CUT failing (several times) to put the seal on things. The match then starts to peter out and the bell rings for a draw.
FRIGHT NIGHT FEVER ANNOUNCEMENTS (#663) … The GWF is hosting a big build up show and Chaos and the Matador is booked to be a part of it. What a match; The tag titles will be defended by Brute and Massacre against the Mercenaries; Mandrill puts his Colonizer title up against Max Shield. Will Max accept the prize if he wins?; Spike goes against Colussus. No belt on the line but Colussus will be relieved it’s a regular match and less stressed; Star Warrior wrestles Marcel de Sade. Plus more.
FRIGHT NIGHT ANNOUNCMENTS (#664) … Six man action as the Gladiator Legends (Wolf, Brute and Massacre) are up against the Gladiator Vanguard (Mayhem, Vengeance and Overkill); Heavyweight Belt up for grabs with Spike against the Matador of M83; More gold on the line as Ursa Major’s IP strap faces the challenge of Enigma; Superiority Complex trying to climb back among the top contenders by facing Millenium; Old school action with the Gamemasters facing the Henchmen; Dynamo against Vanity in a battle of former partners. Plus 6 more matches soon to be announced.

Card 662 – Mira Galaxy Dome:
Brute and Massace beat the Demons of Hydra by DQ in a non-title match. Darkos has close links to the Hitmen having been a good customer in the past. Krakan was hoping the Demons could put a few marks on Brute and Massacre and leave them burnt out ahead of FRIGHT NIGHT FEVER. The Demons do their best but are caught using their rods on Brute to try and gain an advantage. The eagle eyed official spots it immediately and throws the book at them
Hitman Match, Splatter causes a stir as he beats Chaos. Only a few cards ago Chaos was back in a position of strength lording it over the rest of the GWF. Now the landscape appears very different. No belt, at odds with the Matador, possibly the Gladiators too, the classic feud with Alpha Force set to resurrect itself and also this unfinished business with the Hitmen. Chaos is still touchy about being attacked earlier in the year by Splatter and having been picked out by the lottery knew this was never going to go away until he dealt with it. So this was the blow off to that but it’s a disaster and hasn’t necessarily put the problem to bed. Chaos cannot outmuscle Splatter despite clamping BOW OF DEFEAT. He can only get it on once before Splatter uses violence to get his way. In a match with very few rules there was nothing to stop Splatter attacking with anything he could get his hands on. Having used THE SHREDDER he then picks his favoured weapon up. Chaos tries to be brave and take the blow but very few survive MEET ARSENAL. The strike across his chest causes Chaos to stagger and eventually fall to his knees. Wounded and breathing heavily Chaos is unable to prevent Splatter hungrily climbing the pole to retrieve whatever was in the bag. Another bad night for Chaos and plenty of problems still left for him to deal with
Thunder pulls off a notable win against Alpha Force with THUNDERCLAP. The presence of Overkill at ringside was unsettling Alpha Force
Grudge match, the Matador of M83 defeated Kati by DQ. Past heat between them as Kati has two wins to his name against the Matador. Doesn’t come close to repeating that feat. Given some of the violence Kati has been subjected to recently he attempts to add similar style into his own repertoire. Trouble is he just isn’t clever enough to make it work for him and upsets the ref. As the Matador is declared winner Chaos causes intimidation by showing up in the runway. He points at the Matador and begins heading towards him when Splatter races up behind (Chaos and Splatter due to square off later). Although blindsided Chaos doesn’t go down and is able to turn and grapple with Splatter. Whilst this is going on and security aim to restore order the Matador is able to slip past unnoticed to safety
Vigilante beats Skinhead by DQ. Lots of posturing throughout by both managers, Krakan and Morpheus, at ringside. They really don’t like each other and are unlikely to work together ever again
Justice overcomes Dreadnaught. Friendship with FDF is off again after Commander Sam gets mugged off by the Henchmen. Having invited them to join a demo training session in front of fans Dreadnaught clashes with FDF supporters who are heckling him. He calls two men Earth scum. Commander Sam tries to step in and mediate but Dreadnaught yells at him. Dreadnaught says he never liked him and only ever used the FDF for his own gain. Marcel de Sade in the background tears down an American flag and spits on it before they leave in disgrace. A fuming US. Patriot tries to go after them but Sam holds him back for fear of inciting the crowd and putting people at risk, “we’ll get them in the ring”. So with the backstory set we go onto this match. Despite Dreadnaught’s advancing years and Justice being a much better tag wrestler than he is singles action they serve up a great match. Dreadnaught his the target with GUIDED MISSILE twice but no pin. When Justice is on top he almost blows it by missing SHOCK PROBATION. The damage to his shoulder is noticeable but doesn’t stop Justice trying it again later. Dreadnaught cannot avoid it this time and gets struck hard (+5). Commander Sam at ringside gives Justice a quiet salute as the FDF take a morale boosting win.
BREAKING NEWS ... Chaos challenges Splatter to a rematch. Furious at being attacked again with Arsenal he vows to get a hold of that club and break it in half! Splatter thinks it’s funny the big man of the GWF has got himself all into a strop. The response is swift “ sure I will wrestle him again but only if the action is Hardcore. But this time I won’t go easy on you Chaos. Better got yourself a room booked at a nearby hospital cause yer gonna need it!”

Card 663 – FRIGHT NIGHT FEVER - Charon Ice Castle:
Tag champs, Brute and Massacre, raise their game to beat the Mercenaries. With a recent win over the Legends it is not surprising that the Mercenaries ooze confidence and strut to the ring. Soldier of Fortune starts things off against Brute but it’s soon apparent that the Gladiators are determined not to let their grip on the gold slip. Krakan is working hard outside barking orders to make sure his team can wake themselves up and lift their performance. He is desperate for the Mercenaries to recapture the belts (the Hitmen tag belt drought dates back to #445 which is over 4 years ago). Vigilante and Soldier of Fortune try to make headway by constantly swapping tags but Brute is being stubborn against all their offense. Nothing seems to phase him. With Brute’s defensive moves helping to wear them down Massacre delivers most of the offense. Vigilante is like a rabbit in headlights as the Gladiators unload their devastating finisher DECAPITATOR. Somehow the loss at this point is evaded, Krakan working wonders to distract both the referee and the Gladiators. Having got away with that one it comes as something of a surprise when shortly after Soldier of Fortune is pinned after Brute’s Runaway Cannon (snake eyes roll). It’s a hard hitting move but not usually one that is strong enough to win such big matches
Mandrill finally gets a positive result against Max Shield beating him by DQ and keeps his ridiculous Colonizer belt in the process. Some very effective shielding of Mandrill’s best moves by Max but certainly put under much more pressure than he expected. It’s a limp ending as Max is hurled outside where he thinks he might be about to get zapped by Mandrill. Before that can happen he dives at Mandrill sending him flying into tables. Since officials are under strict instruction from the Commissioner’s office to keep discipline this leads to a call for the bell
Colussus beats Spike in a non-title match. This was so nearly made into a match for the belt. Confidence crisis or not Colussus had posted recent victories over Janus and Vengeance. Commissioner Carter agonised over who to give the title shot to out of Colussus and the Matador. Colussus plants seeds of doubt in Carter’s mind over the decision to go with the Matador as he is fantastic here and beats Spike with CYBORG DEATHBLOW. Spike doesn’t seem to care that he lost and dodges a bullet as Splatter has chosen to attack the winner of this match. Colussus isn’t expecting it and goes down under a barrage of blows. Spike enjoys watching the violence and stands back admiring Splatter’s work. Security struggle to get into the ring to break it off. By the time they get in plenty of damage has been done. Colussus is in a heap and ends up leaving via a stretcher. Guess that ends any hope Colussus had of making a run at the main belt but the most important thing is that he is ok and gets the right treatment to help recover
Matador of M83 overcomes Chaos with BULLWHIP. One of the most anticipated matches of the year finally happens. Chaos is far from relaxed. He is locked into a massive feud with Splatter and cannot be as focused on this match as he’d like. He certainly looks very angry and Morpheus is trying to talk to him as they come to the ring but Chaos’s thoughts are far from listening to his manager. His mind is racing. Not to mention that Splatter could strike at anytime. The Matador (who is flying at the moment) senses his old partner is vulnerable. Knowing all his weaknesses the Matador starts fast and stays down low. He chops away continuously at Chaos’s lower half. Morpheus can see what is happening and tries to get the message across but Chaos is largely ignoring him. Obsessed with trying to clamp his arms around the Matador or nail a power move but he is always a step too slow. It’s still a bit surprising that the finish comes as quick as it does but the outcome not so much so. The Matador back among the top table and looking towards his shot at the Heavyweight gold now he has one over his former egotistical partner. You wouldn’t bet against him pulling it off
Star Warrior defeated Marcel de Sade by DQ. This is a unique feud that has spanned three decades. It’s never been one of the headline matches but there is rich history. Despite being the hot favourite Star Warrior struggles against de Sade’s heel tactics. Dreadnaught is also outside making things even tougher. Star Warrior is grateful to come out on top. Next up the Gamemasters will face the Henchmen in another match of historical significance and the ending here sets that up nicely
Thrash and Overkill go over Amazonia and Wolf in mixed tag action. Thrash makes a name for herself by surviving AMAZON ATTACK and coming back to beat Amazonia with FEMME FATAL
Darkos pinned Ursa Major. As a prelude to his IP title defence against Enigma we see Ursa Major take to the ring against the head of the Masked Assassins Darkos in non-title action. He will need to better than he was here when he faces Enigma. Despite a few fancy moves Darkos is much stronger than Ursa Major and wins with FINAL CURTAIN. Ursa Major apologises to the other Titans on Spacebook for the loss but Trainer Jim quickly posts back “there is nothing to be ashamed of. We are very proud of you and remember you are STILL the Interplanetary champ”
Rising Sun defeated Bishop Hell with SUNSET SPECTACULAR. Breakthrough moment for Rising Sun, it’s been a while coming. Can he build on this?
MORE BREAKING NEWS … Horror on the last card as Splatter is building up his feuds again. He brutally attacked Colussus and also used it as a warning to Chaos. Incredibly despite the terrible injuries (10 cards) sustained Colussus will not let his manager, Omega, down and still vows to turn out for his upcoming match commitments. Commissioner Carter (perhaps aware Splatter is already booked in forthcoming matches) says he will make a decision on the disciplinary action within 3 cards.
