Some interesting picks, @kevinb and barflymike4ever... Rogers would make a great champion and I could see him having an exceptional reign... Especially with Veda Scott in his corner... That being said, I like have the wild man Brody running around with a title belt swinging over his head... At this point, I have to consider Final Countdown the underdog team in the round robin series... I am using the Chikara versions of Danielson and El Generico, which are much weaker than their ROH cards... Personally, I am rooting for Sheik and Volkoff... The Road Warriors have gotta be considered the favorites... Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my friends... I have not been playing as much as usual - For a variety of reasons... But, I'm hoping to have this show posted later tonight... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Revival #16: Motor City Mayhem from Joe Louis Arena (Detroit, MI)
Final Countdown vs. The Briscoes Mark Briscoe defeated El Generico via pinfall at 6:15 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Briscoes use effective teamwork to maintain the upper hand, nailing El Generico with DUAL SUPERKICKS for a (snake eyes) finish. (Fatigue: MBriscoe 1 - Danielson 1)
Unwilling to accept the outcome, Danielson throws a tantrum! He blindsides Jay Briscoe with a steel chair, knocking him out of the ring before turning his attention to Jay's younger brother. He puts Mark down and clamps on his patented CATTLE MUTILATION. Even security cannot pry him off his victim. El Generico pleads with his partner to release the hold. but Mark is seriously hurt (+2 PIN for remainder of show).
Foreign Legion vs. Road Warriors Hawk defeated Iron Sheik via pinfall at 8:20 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The Road Warriors rush their opponents at the opening bell and nearly score an unopposed victory. Sheik and Volkoff turn things around with some questionable tactics, narrowly avoiding disqualification in the process. While Animal and Volkoff brawl outside the ring, Hawk overpowers Sheik and drops him with a gorilla press slam to claim the win. (Fatigue: Animal 1 - Sheik 2, Volkoff 1)
Frank Dalton vs. Jerry Lynn Jerry Lynn defeated Frank Dalton via pinfall at 6:02 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: A stellar debut for Lynn, who delivers an intense performance. Dalton shows some promise, but stays down after getting crushed by a CRADLE PILEDRIVER. (Fatigue: Dalton 2)
- Six Man Tag Match - Gorgeous George (w/ Cherie Dupre) and Hollywood Blonds vs. Rob Van Dam and Rock n' Funk Connection Gorgeous George defeated Rob Van Dam via disqualification at 0:56 Match Rating: 0.00 (dud) Match Notes: The outrageous antics of Cherie and George quickly causes RVD to lose his temper. He drives George to the floor beneath a barrage of closed fists. When the ref attempts to intervene, RVD responds by shoving him against the ringside barricade which results in a disappointing technical decision. (Fatigue: n/a)
RVD chases George towards the backstage area and runs right into a GORE! Receiving mixed reactions from the Michigan crowd, Rhino beckons for Scorpio and Jannetty to come get some as well. Security arrives to prevent the situation from escalating further.
Bruiser Costa vs. The Destroyer (w/ Ted DiBiase and Claudio Castagnoli) Bruiser Costa defeated The Destroyer via pinfall at 4:59 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Costa shocks everyone (including himself) by snapping the undefeated streak of The Destroyer after he lands a diving splash for a (snake eyes) three count. (Fatigue: n/a)
DiBiase cannot believe what just happened. He orders Castagnoli to attack Costa, but Hacksaw Jim Duggan charges to the ring, swinging his 2X4. He cleans house and gives Costa a big thumbs up! "HOOOOOOO!"
Final Countdown vs. Road Warriors Hawk defeated El Generico via pinfall at 17:12 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: An extraordinary encounter that ends with the Road Warriors leveling El Generico with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE! (Fatigue: Animal 1, Hawk 3 - Danielson 1, Generico 5)
Foreign Legion vs. The Briscoes Nikolai Volkoff defeated Jay Briscoe via pinfall at 4:51 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: It becomes painfully obvious that Mark Briscoe is still feeling the effects of earlier assault by Danielson (+2 PIN) and he provides little help. A valiant effort by Jay is not enough and Volkoff finishes him with a BACKBREAKER DROP. (Fatigue: JBriscoe 1, MBriscoe 1)
Curt Hennig vs. Diamond Dallas Page Curt Hennig defeated Diamond Dallas Page via disqualification at 2:37 Match Rating: 0.00 (dud) Match Notes: Things quickly spiral out of control as the bad blood between these men rises to the surface. DDP blocks an attempted low blow, but then decides to return the favor with one of his own. Hennig crumples in pain and the ref calls for the bell. With no regard for the official decision, DDP blasts Hennig with a DIAMOND CUTTER for good measure. (Fatigue: n/a)
- The Lunatic Fringe - Leva Bates flirts with Dr Mike Lano, while Jon Moxley greets his guest. Filled with contempt, 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka says he will not stand by and allow others to steal the spotlight that belongs to him. He accuses the front office of showing favoritism towards those that portray a certain image. Moxley seems very amused and offers to have Leva check Snuka's blood pressure. With a wild look in his eyes, Snuka points at Moxley. Then he points at Leva. He vows that no one is safe and starts pointing at random people in the crowd. "You will see! All of you will see! I am a force of nature and nothing can hold me back!"
Bobo Brazil vs. Lou Thesz Lou Thesz defeated Bobo Brazil via pinfall at 9:47 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Morgan Dollar is selected to officiate this contest and realizing that the winner of this match could be in line for a title shot in the near future, he wants a clear cut winner. (+1 to PIN and -2 to DQ). A dynamic exchange that starts with a handshake and ends with Thesz hitting Brazil with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP (+2) for the win. (Fatigue: Thesz 1 - Brazil 3)
While the two competitors display their mutual respect by embracing after the match, Jimmy Snuka charges into the ring and lays them out with a steel chair. He tosses Thesz out of the ring and continues his brutal assault on Brazil. After several chairshots, he comes off the top rope with a SUPERFLY LEAP! Security finally arrives to pull Snuka from his victim.
Final Countdown vs. Foreign Legion Nikolai Volkoff defeated El Generico via pinfall at 2:26 Match Rating: 0.10 (squash) Match Notes: El Generico looks completely off his game and does not even come close to making a tag. Sheik cripples him with a Loaded Boot and Volkoff puts him down with a running stomp to secure the victory. Wearing an expression of disgust, Danielson does not even attempt to make the save and heads to the back without his partner. (Fatigue: Generico 1)
Road Warriors vs. The Briscoes Hawk defeated Mark Briscoe via pinfall at 4:19 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The best the Briscoes can hope at this point is to force a three-way tiebreaker in the round robin series. Morgan Dollar is the referee for what could potentially decide the inaugural Revival Tag Team Champions and he calls the match right down the middle.
Unlike the previous time these teams met, this becomes an almost completely one sided affair. Realizing that Mark (+2 PIN) is still in poor shape, Jay tries to carry most of the burden. Unwilling to let his brother down, Mark jumps into the fray as soon as Jay finds himself in trouble. The Road Warriors complete their impressive run by finishing Mark with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. (Fatigue: MBriscoe 2)
Road Warriors won the Revival Tag Team Championship
- Fatal Four Elimination Match - AJ Styles vs. Harley Race vs. Kevin Steen vs. Randy Savage (w/SoCal Val) Randy Savage defeated Kevin Steen via pinfall at 10:08 Harley Race defeated Randy Savage via pinfall at 19:16 Harley Race defeated AJ Styles via pinfall at 32:21 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Bodies are broken and blood spills in this epic confrontation. Styles plays a slippery game, keeping himself out of the equation as much as possible. Steen is the first eliminated after Race hits him with a PILEDRIVER and Savage lands a FLYING ELBOW DROP. Race receives a SOCAL SLAP while trading blows with Savage, but it has little effect. Race puts Savage down with a VERTICAL SUPLEX and nails a DIVING HEAD BUTT, leaving just him and Styles in the match. Styles soars into action, nailing with everything in his arsenal. He hits the STYLES CLASH, but Race kicks out! Thwarting a high risk move, Race catches Styles with a PILEDRIVER to emerge triumphant. (Fatigue: Race 5 - Styles 2 - Savage 6 - Steen 6)
- Championship Match - Bruiser Brody vs. Buddy Rogers (w/ Veda Scott) for the Revival Heavyweight Championship Buddy Rogers defeated Bruiser Brody via submission at 6:42 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: With Scott giving plenty of advice from ringside, Rogers puts on a technical clinic. Brody powers his way out of a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and proceeds to hammer the challenger with heavy blows. The second time Rogers applies his patented hold, Brody is unable to break free. He refuses to tap out, but the ref awards Rogers the match when the champion becomes unresponsive. (Fatigue: Rogers 1 - Brody 1)
Buddy Rogers won the Revival Heavyweight Championship
Overall Card Rating: 1.93

Wow, poor El Generico took the fall in all three matches, no wonder Danielson was livid. Now I am thinking a visit by Dr. Shelby is in order. Great debut for Rhino by Goring RVD out of his boots, so awesome. I had a feeling the only way Brody was losing his title was by passing out, and Rogers figured that out. Great card!

Briscoe's shutdown Final Countdown but the American Dragon shows fire hurting Mark Road Warriors beat the Foreign Legion. Jerry Lynn arrives with a victory. Six Man disappointment only highlight was the arrival of the Man-Beast. GORE! Costa beats the Destroyer and Hacksaw comes to his aid. this could be a very strange alliance. Final Countdown did better but lost to the Road Warriors. Foreign Legion bounce back and claim a win over the Briscoes. if they were healthy a btter fight Dem Boys would have given. DDP gets DQ'd and still feed Henning a Diamond Cutter. see what happens when you leave a door open. Moxley comes in and we hear from Superfly. Thesz beats Brazil and then Superfly adds to it. someone provoked the islander man Final Countdown 0-3 as Foreign Legion gets the win and with Danielson's expression this might very well be the final countdown for this team. meanwhile the Road Warriors go 3-0 beating the Briscoe's. again it might have gone longer and different if Mark wasn't wounded. and going against a team like the Road Warriors hurt is painting a target. congrats to the LOD. Hail to the King as Harley Race steps p and wins the fatal 4-way! AJ Styles pushed to the end but Race just showed his testicular fortitude and won the match. well Buddy Rogers won the Revival Championship. was hoping Brody would have lasted longer as champion. great show Pariah.

I'm just going to quote Barflymike4ever here as I can't recap it any better than that. Sad to see Bruiser Brody lose the gold already but a tip of the cap to Buddy Rogers for his victory. Also awesome to see the Road Warriors win the tag titles against some tough competition. Awesome show my friend.

Pleased with the reception that Motor City Mayhem has received so far, magnumta, cman, barflymike4ever and cruefan68... El Generico certainly took some lumps in the round robin series, but showed great heart in the matchup against the Road Warriors... Speaking of the Roadies, I am happy to have them as my inaugural tag champs - Seems kinda fitting for my first crack at a mixed era Legends fed... Interested to see how long they can hold onto the belts... Truly appreciate the ongoing interest and kind words, my friends... Trying to develop some interesting concepts going forward... For now, the Blaze of Glory tour continues... Many thanks for staying tuned!

'DEM BOYS stop the Final Countdown! Come to Sandy Fork, get your ass kicked! Warriors on a path to gold, and no one can stop them in tag ranks. Lynn with a statement debut, expected nothing less (he's TOO strong). RVD loses his cool??...... Should have talked a little more to Marry Jane before the match. He needs to get out of this nowhere six man feud. Costa beats The Destroyer?!?!?! What's the temperature in Hell right now?... and how will this humiliating loss sit with Million Dollar Man? Warriors also stops the Final Countdown, and look unbeatable themselves. Briscoes lose to Volkoff? .............. I want my money back!!!!! This show is a sham.......... Briscoes lose again....... Atleast it was against the baddest dogs on the block. Hennig gets hit in the ding ding.... BANG!!! Superfly is acting like the lunatic on Moxley's show.......... Thesz is the MAT MASTER and wins against a double tough Brazil..... and what the Hell does Snuka think he's doing?? He just made TWO TOUGH enemies. Harley is the man, pinning Savage and Styles proves it. Nobody escapes the Grapevine, Congratulations Nature Boy on a big win. P.S. don't look now but Harley Race is coming for you. AWESOME show my friend.

Very cool that you enjoyed that last show, @kevinb... Definitely a lot going on... Unfortunate that the Briscoes lost two of their matches... But, I was pretty happy about the Road Warriors becoming my first tag champs... Somehow seemed appropriate for my first mixed era Legends fed...
Sorry to everyone for taking so long to post an update... My focus has been on my COTG Kronos fed for the past little bit, but I have played out the next couple of PWR shows... Just have to get the write-ups completed... Truly appreciate the kind words and continued interest, my friends... Hoping to have the next card posted soon... Many thanks for staying tuned!
