And to think I was about to comment that this year hasn't been plagued by DQs like previous tournaments. I was pulling for Race to win it all. Damn.
Brody will destroy Dalton. But can he do it without getting DQed? Fingers crossed.

Oh, snap... Think I might have jinxed Handsome Harley with my comments regarding the lack of upsets... And just like aceldamas, the low number of technical decisions was also on my mind... Brody should be able to avoid getting disqualified against Dalton... But, I'm not sure he will be that lucky in later rounds... Good times!

Brody's tournament appearances always gets a great response from the Filsinger Community. Thank you for all the predictions.
Bruiser Brody (3) v. Frank Dalton (30)
Brody hits the ring with his chain swinging. Dalton opens with a wild slap and then another. Ringside gasps but Brody just smiles. A shoulder tackle downs Dalton and a one-handed body slam gets Brody a two count (R6/P4). Big boot to face sets up a twisting vertical suplex. Brody stomps away but an eye gouge slows the attack but just for a moment. Dalton catches Brody with a tackle rebounding off the ropes and then slows Brody with a sleeper. Guillotine on bottom rope stuns Brody and Dalton works a headlock and choke. A wild slap stuns Brody and Dalton catches Brody in the corner with a big kick. Scorpion death lock follows. Rope burn is blocked and Brody crushes Dalton with a clothesline in the corner. Tombstone piledriver and Dalton bails. We go to the floor and Dalton reverses an Irish whip sending Brody into the post. Dalton then takes the fight back to the floor and Brody hoists Dalton onto his shoulder and battering rams him into the ring post! Both men are now a bloody mess. Back to back tombstones and Brody then attacks with stomps. Shoulder tackles and more stomps. Brody with a JUMPING KNEE SMASH but Dalton kicks out at the last possible second (R9/P8). Brody kills Dalton with a clothesline in the corner and then takes him to the floor. Dalton turns things around and runs Brody into the ring post. Guillotine on bottom rope and Brody is then rebounded in back elbow. Dalton bites Brody and ringside is losing their minds. Brody comes back with stomps but Dalton reverses a whip to the corner. Dalton charges into Brodyβs knee. One-handed body slam is followed stomps, stomps and stomps. Dalton grabs a headlock and choke and bites Brody again. Scorpion death lock is countered. One-handed body slam and another and another. Tombstone piledriver and a motionless Dalton does not kick out of the cover (R4/P6)

Tough one here, DDP but I wouldn't be shocked if Duggan won.

Much longer encounter than expected... Totally impressed with the amount of punishment Dalton was able to endure... In fact, I'm kinda surprised that Brody didn't get disqualified out of frustration...
Going with DDP over Duggan... In a match that will inevitably look better on paper than it rolls out... Bring it on!
