Thanks for the comments Troy, Pariah, Bri, Bookerbill and Aceldamas on the ACW card. I'm trying to give ACW a Mid-Atlantic feel where you could see unique tag team partnerships such as Mulligan and Black, but only teaming once in a while. The Mulligan dive off the top choice style obviously was not of the flying variety but more just him throwing his mass on top of Valentine. Magnum vs. Race has been so much fun, I'm very happy with the way that their matches have been turning out. I knew that some of you would enjoy Austin Aries losing the television title to The Patriot
As for The Dirt, yes I watched it Pariah and enjoyed it. A really fun rock n' roll movie on of course one of my favorite bands, Motley Crue

(Pinfall – Snake Eyes – Crusher Bolo)
Match Highlights:
The opening contest saw Iron Mike Dibiase return to action taking on “The Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz of LOW All-Star Wrestling. Dibiase has been out for several weeks with a neck injury suffered at the hands of Ed “Strangler” Lewis and his feared Strangler’s Headlock. Rodz tested Dibiase and showed some great resilience, even kicking out after taking the Top Rope Knee to the Back. Dibiase persevered, however, and trapped Rodz in the Abdominal Stretch scoring a submission victory.
The stars of Ring Angels were up next as the popular Tina Moretti out of Seattle, WA, took on Melina, a native of Los Angeles, CA, who was making her official debut in LOW. Moretti started out hot but missed a corner tackle resulting in her hitting the ring post and falling out of the ring. Melina took full advantage of that and let out a scream before executing the Primal Scream, a legdrop reverse DDT, on Moretti to score the pin. It was a strong debut for Melina who could be a real force in the division.
The popular “Flying Redheads” of Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons took on the double tough combination of Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon in a tag team attraction. The Vachon’s looked strong early as they isolated Bastien preventing him from tagging out. Butcher was particularly effective here as he assaulted Bastien outside the ring. A tag to Lyons reversed the momentum and the Redheads hoped to ride that to victory. Lyons ran into trouble, however, when he was also attacked on the outside. It was Mad Dog who ended it when he hit the Mad Dog Pounce on Lyons and covered him for the pin as Butcher cut off a save attempt by Bastien.
Veteran star Joe Blanchard, a newcomer to Golden Age Wrestling, took on the flamboyant Gorgeous George who was accompanied by his valet, Cherie Dupre. After Dupre sprayed down the ringside area, and both Blanchard and the referee, with her perfume atomizer it was time for George to enter. Adorned in his finest silk robe, George sneered at the ringsiders as well as Blanchard showing his opponent no respect. That proved to be a mistake as Blanchard took it to George from the opening bell including scoring near falls with the airplane spin and a counter sunset flip. George was in serious trouble before he came back with the Gorgeous Grip for a submission chance followed by a near fall with the Rolling Hiplocks. With time winding down it was Blanchard locking on the Abdominal Stretch going for a submission but Dupre distracted the referee. A frustrated Blanchard followed up with a piledriver for a near fall but then the bell sounded ending this hard fought bout in a time limit draw.
A spot in Real World Tag League II was on the line in a battle of former LOW World tag team champions as the Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan), along with their manager Wild Red Berry, took on Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “The Crippler” Stevens who were accompanied by their manager, Sir Oliver Humperdink. With the two managers at ringside it was almost a guarantee that chaos would ensue. Bockwinkel and Stevens did a tremendous job early of isolating Costello. Bockwinkel punished him with the Figure Four Leglock for a submission chance while Stevens connected with a jumping knee smash for a near fall. The Kangaroos mounted a counter attack led by Heffernan who used the Step Over Toehold on both Bockwinkel and Stevens.
Costello, who was busted open, got some revenge using the Greek Cross on Stevens for a near fall. Stevens was also busted open during a brawl outside the ring. The Kangaroos would then hit the Boomerang on Stevens for what looked to be a sure pin but Humperdink interfered breaking that up. Berry got involved as well saving Costello from a pin after a Bombs Away by Stevens. After Bockwinkel nearly put Heffernan away with the Bockwinkel Sleeper, Stevens tagged in but soon found himself on the defensive. As Costello took out Bockwinkel, Heffernan nailed the bloody Stevens with the Crocodile Smash, a big punch to the head in the corner, and covered him for the pin. The huge victory by the Kangaroos means that they will be part of the B Block alongside defending champions Giant Baba & The Destroyer in the upcoming Real World Tag League II being presented by Kings Road United in Japan.
An intense matchup saw “The Solid Man” William Muldoon, a former LOW World Heavyweight champion, take on the feared Killer Kowalski. Muldoon gave up a lot of size and power to Kowalski, but he used his vaunted technical skills to make up for hit. Kowalski, however, used that power advantage to make several key counters during the match. This was a real war of attrition with both men pushing each other to the limit. A key spot saw Kowalski going for a deathjump attack, but Muldoon picked him off with a bodyslam and then locked on a punishing bearhug. Kowalski survived that and took it outside where he battered Muldoon with repeated runs into the ring barrier. One of those runs including dropping Muldoon stomach first across the rail. Muldoon was hurt and Kowalski homed in on him applying the Kowalski Claw to the midsection. Muldoon tried to fight out of it, but Kowalski cinched the hold on. Refusing to tap out, Muldoon instead collapsed to the mat where the referee had no choice but to count his shoulders down giving Kowalski a big pinfall victory.
KRU founder Rikidozan made a special appearance in GAW teaming with the “Golden Greek” Jim Londos, his handpicked partner for Real World Tag League II, as they took on The Sicilians (Lou Albano & Ilio DiPaolo). The Sicilians made the mistake of going for a pre-match attack and Rikidozan took it to Albano in furious fashion scoring the pin with the Thunderous Chops in less than a minute. The crowd erupted in cheers as Rikidozan and Londos, who will be in the A Block alongside such teams as the Midnight Express and Devastation Corporation, picked up a statement win going into the tournament.
History was made in Cincinnati as The Crusher became a four-time LOW International Heavyweight champion winning the belt from the “King of Men” Fred Blassie who was attempting to make his version one title defense. Only a short time removed from winning the belt from Giant Baba in Tokyo, Japan (Card #1227), Blassie went into the match confident of victory. The Crusher, on the other hand, was laser focused on Blassie as he watched him berate ringsiders. Once Blassie got into the ring it was on and the two waged a great back and forth battle over the championship. The finishing sequence saw The Crusher deliver a big punch to the midsection of Blassie as he rebounded off the ropes. That left Blassie in a vulnerable position allowing The Crusher to wind up and deliver the Crusher Bolo knocking Blassie out for the three count snake eyes style. The crowd erupted in cheers as The Crusher was handed the title belt making him second only to The Sheik for most reigns as the LOW International Heavyweight champion. Blassie was livid post-match chasing after the referee and then tearing up the ringside area while The Crusher paraded around with the title belt.
