Heard Talk very recently of a possibility of him resigning w ROH & given a contract w just over 40 dates a year, but w comparable pay to what he was being offered by WWE & AEW. Not sure how much this will help ROH at this point, but you have to keep your biggest star. Being head booker and getting a significant raise w limited dates makes sense for Marty. Can’t blame him.

Looks like he has signed a two year contract and will take over booking from Hunter. Hopefully he squeezes out Bully Ray as well.

I don't know what Bully Ray's status with the company is, but as long as he's there, I doubt anyone will squeeze him out. A veteran booker for years, he knows how politic!

How do you think he got the job? LOL This is a very interesting development. I had heard that ROH was going to give Scurll an offer he couldn't refuse but I was sure he was AEW bound. My question is, is he qualified for the job? I hope so. ROH has been dismal lately. Well, actually for quite a while now, but it has been really bad this last half of the year. And not just on the booking front. The production quality of the television show has really gone down. It looks like some slopped together amateur highlight show with those two dimwits spliced in to introduce things. They had reached a point where the show looked professional. What happened? Anyway, let's see if The Villain can be the hero ROH needs.

Long Live The Villain! He can't be any worse than Delirious was as a booker. Maybe this is the beginning of ROH turning things around.

But to clarify: Scurll isn't head booker. Technically Delirious still is. Scurll is on the creative team.

This thread topic confused me so badly based on the posts within until I just realized "resigns" meant "Signs a new contract" and not "quits." Now it all makes sense.
Don't judge me--I have Rachel Summerlyn on the brain.

Oops. Can’t fix it either. Talk about a misleading headline. Great card BTW. Thanks
