I would like to see a new American Hero in the GWF. I think maybe the son of Commander Sam or maybe even the son of U.S. Patriot/Traitor and Mrs. Liberty. What does everyone else think?

I wholeheartedly agree, would love to see the son of Adam Blast and Ms. Liberty, but don't count on it. Since Tom wanted 2119 to appeal to new audiences, those that are new don't know who Blast and Liberty are so I don't think we'll see him soon if ever.

I don't think it would be a good idea to introduce Adam Blast's son anyway--for several reasons. First of all, what reason would he have to join? Who would he go after? Second, Adam Blast's exit from the GWF was about as embarrassing and disgraceful as anybody in history. Ms. Liberty had left him and we were left to wonder what happened to him. In real life, Ms. Liberty would have kept her son as far away from the business as possible. I know that kids grow up and go their own way, and if it's "in his blood" nothing is going to stop him. However, I don't think this can be accomplished in real real life without an explaination that delves way too far in the past. As bigd said, Tom wanted 2119 to appeal to new audiences, and I don't think rehashing the story of a career low-to-mid-card wrestler is advancing that cause. I say it's more fun to wonder about the lives of Ms. Liberty, Adam Blast, and their son.
I do agree however that Earth is pathetic right now. It would be nice to see somebody rise up. If it is Adam Blast Jr., so be it. I'm sure Tom would figure out away to make it work, but I could see why he wouldn't want to go there.

Well, American Guy and US Male represent the US real well as you have both sides of our national persona. The "Angry American" and the "Boy Scout". So unless there is another persona I do not know about, I think we are covered there.
I would more like to see Japan represented at last. I know Rising Sun was born in Japan, but he was mainly Titan. I want to see a "Strong Style" "King's Road" Purosesu fighting athlete. Heavyweight or Junior, either would do and I think would be cool.

If we have another wrestler from earth any time soon, I hope he is not from the U.S.A. How about an Australian aborigine, and we find out that even in the 22nd century they live the same primitive lifestyle they have for centuries.

That would be cool.
I was thinking, a true Japanese wrestler may work better for POW. The style is much better suited

I agree that, if there's another Earth character introduced anytime soon, it should be some archetype that hasn't previously been explored in the COTG universe.

I would have to agree. I'd like to see an American who isn't waving the Red, White, and Blue all over the place--not necessarily the next "American Hero". We've had enough of those. It seems like every American wrestler at least starts off that way. Seriously, have we ever had an American wrestler that was just a regular guy? Or, at least, had his own characteristics that weren't overwhelmingly calling attention to America? I guess Greg Valentine would be the closest thing. At least the non-American Earth wrestlers (Executioner, Ghengis Khan, Mike Fortune, to name a few), weren't founded on waving their nationalities in the faces of everybody else. They had their own identites & personalities. Where they're from is a little more incendental.
My point is, why does the American wrestler have to respresent a uniquely American "persona"? Why can't he just be his own person?

All I was getting at is that Thantos and Omega have had their sons in the GWF and that one of my favorite and possible just as important to the past of the GWF has not been represented in the GWF the same way. I am not saying I specifically want him to wave the red, white, and blue but I believe that a son of Commander Sam or possible a grand-son needs to enter the GWF to carry on his legacy in the GWF. I would just like to see an American have a good run in the GWF like Commander Sam and carry on his legacy.
