Hey guys,
just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on LOW guys they have never used and why - for me it is the Mongols and Kangaroos. Both teams absolutely suck for me and I can never buy them wins which makes them very tough to book.
Who are some of the guys that you get frustrated with or that you have not yet found a place for in your feds?

I use everyone. If a guy really sucks or I don't have a place for them I just use them on the B and C shows where they squash jobbers every week. Then when I finally figure out something for them, they're nice and ready with a ton of wins on television and instant credibility.
In the 5 years that I've run one version or another of the NWA, I've managed to get every guy in Legends at least one storyline to be a part of. Even Danny Doring got a storyline where he was a lackey for Buddy Rose.
I feel that every guy that gets a card in LOW deserves at least one shot at the spotlight and I need to do my best to find that chance for them.

You would think that with 4 feds I would use everyone but some I haven't found a place for yet. Half of International still hasn't found a spot for me yet.

I use everyone including both Bepo Mongol and Nikolai and Missing Link/Dewey Robertson as separate wrestlers.

Yeah, I do that too. I just don't have them wrestle each other and that's good enough for me.

What gets me is that how good someone is for someone else and never translates that good for me. I know the dice have a mind of their own sometimes for everyone which intrigues me. I have read many feds where the Kangaroos are stellar, but they just don't have any luck for me at all.
I agree about Gomez and I don't think there is anything wrong for overanalyzing the stats. What makes me happy about my fed is that if I like it, it is good. I don't post it because I generally wouldn't write it for someone else to read. I have never used Gomez him either for that same reason. I wonder too about Pesek as I have not booked him yet and do not immediately plan to. I do have a core group I have built around that have a strong history for me - Race, Bockwinkel, the Midnights, Valentine, etc. and the ones that have broken through to rise to upper card status, such as Angelo Mosca for example, have been really fun for me. but someone like Jim Londos, who has a strong card, I have never booked until this year.
I always keep my Legends fed small as well. My theory is that if someone has nothing to do, then I generally don't put him on the card.

There's LOTS of guys I don't use. Basically, if they weren't in the WWF in the 80's I don't use them (with a few exceptions). Makes for a tiny fed, but I prefer it that way.

As I approach wrestling as a sport (like they did here in England in the 1980s), I have no storylines and try to give everyone a match.
The only wrestlers I don't like to use are jobbers, which I have only one, George South. They invariably lose so I don't want to waste my time rolling dice for a foregone conclusion. I like close match-ups.
Like Toasterboy, I do have a bias towards the WWF superstars of the 1980s. They make the best matchups as the vintage wrestlers tend to be very strong and the LOTF guys weak.

I try to use everyone. I have four legends leagues and two future leagues. I limit them to 25 each, some wrestlers I have turned into legend floaters (kinda like Brody and Mascaras that would travel around and not stay in territory for long stints,) those not in a fed will wrestle on Apters tv show HOT SEAT with Louden Noxious calling the action. I tend to lean to those that wrestled in Texas and Mid South and Houston's.

There are plenty of guys I don't use. All the vintage wrestlers, Pepper Gomez, Rocca, Gorgeous George to name a few. I don't know what it is but I just can't use these guys. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
