I just bought a front row seat to the second night (the Saturday portion) of the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles!
This year the tournament will determine the new PWG Champion since the title was vacated when Bryan Danielson (who won it from Chris Hero at his final PWG show) left.
Looking forward to my first PWG show since late August and I'm looking forward to seeing cman again and hopefully seeing toasterboy and others too at BOLA!

But at least I'll get to see the more important 2nd night when the new PWG Champion is determined. Looking forward to seeing you guys on November 21st! |

I noticed that Scott Lost has been added to the tournament where he joins Kevin Steen, Brandon Gatson, and Jerome "LTP" Robinson. 12 spots remaining.

Brian Kendrick and Chris sabin have both been added to the tournament for the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles.
So far competing in the 16 man tournament for the vacant PWG Championship:
1. "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen
2. Jerome "LTP" Robinson
3. Brandon Gatson
4. Scott Lost
5. Brian Kendrick
6. Chris Sabin
10 more competitors to be announced.

Come on Chuck Taylor (so I can get my card signed)! Since he's a PWG regular, I'm pretty sure Chuck Taylor will be there either in the tournament or perhaps teaming with Kenny Omega as the Men of Low Moral Fiber for another title shot against the Young Bucks at BOLA. Some of the wrestlers I expect to be among the other 10 competitiors named are Chris Hero, Roderick Strong, Joey Ryan, and El Generico (unless perhaps he teams with the Human Tornado as 2 Skinny Black Guys because they still deserve a title shot against the Young Bucks after they defeated them in that non-title match at Threemendous II). And since Chris Sabin has already been named, I think the other half of the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley, might be in the tournament too. But I read on the PWG message board that Davey Richards is reportedly already booked for some other Indy fed show that weekend. |
