January 18th, 2093 In a hotel room on Neptune
*There is a knock on a hotel room door*
"Yes?"
"It's me Morpheus. Did I do OK tonight?"
"Oh yes, come in, come in. You were MAGNIFICENT tonight! Did you see the look on all those sheep's faces? They are going to pay big money to see you guys get your butts kicked now!"
"Yeah, I know, but did you really have to send the rest of the guys out there to get smashed? They had no idea what was coming did they? I thought they knew...."
"Oh you poor, poor naive king. Surely we couldn't have the 'great SSF warriors' simply sit there while some people in masks stormed the ring could we? The fans would never buy it. They would see right through it."
"Yes, but Adam and the AniMen could have really hurt them! They were taken off-guard! They weren't expecting it!"
*Morpheus sighs*
"You really don't get it, do you? I don't care about any of them, King. They are just there to make me money. The fact that they get to make money too is simply a side-effect that I tolerate. Everyone has a part to play. I mean look at you. You are just naturally unlikeable. Maybe it is the implants, maybe it is just your natural 'royal' personality. But you can turn it to your advantage in this business. And that's your part to play. Tonight, it was their part to play to get beaten up. Ticket sales for the Cup will be stupendous. And it is all because people naturally hate you. Why do you think I specifically asked Omega for you? Look, it's been a long night, go get some sleep. You were great, one of the best performances I've seen. Trust in that."
"OK, er...thanks. I guess. Good night"
*Exo-King leaves Morpheus' hotel room. As he is walking to his room he pulls out a holographic projection and stares at it intensely*
"'Naturally unlikeable', huh? 'Everyone hates me'. I wonder if that's what they think too." (looking at picture) "Damn these implants, damn this body. DAMN EVERYTHING."
And just then, one of the strongest and toughest men in the universe began to cry....

Thanks CC, for some reason it just seemed to me that Galactic Punisher and Pulsar would click. In this universe, the idea is that UCW wants a version of the FDF, but with newer guys, thus the name "New Heroes". As far as the Nightmare Men go, I wanted a slightly different way of getting from Norse Gods -> Masters of Illusion, so I had the story based on dreams (and thus nightmares, I mean just LOOK at Chopper!). Plus, once I rolled Cannibal into free agency, I figured Necros was a good fit.

January 30th, 2093 In the locker room of the Galaxian Arena, before the GWF Supercard
*Omega is holding an impromptu meeting with the FDF Legends, Iron Mane, the Wildmen and Justice*
Omega: "Gentlemen! The Ultimate Force has been running all over us. Tonight, you all have a chance to change that. Iron Mane: I know you are disappointed that you could get the IP title back last week, but I know you can beat Alpha! Wildmen: I know you are still mad that UF took away your chance at the tag team titles and the Kings of Galaxy. You have a chance to take the belts tonight! Justice: You can take out the head. Defeat Chaos for the belt, and UF will start to fall. Tonight, we begin to take the GWF back from UF!"
*The others cheer as Omega leaves the room*
Omega (to himself): "....and destroy the man that USED to be my son...."

GWF Supercard January 30th, 2093
The Creeper vs Death Masque
An entertaining opening match brawl, Death Masque thought he had the match won with the Meltdown, but the referee caught him using the illegal move and disqualified him. The Creeper with a rare, but deserved win!
The Creeper defeated Death Masque via disqualification
Aethran Power vs Con-Men
Two "new" teams faced each other as Mayhem and The Guardsman dominated the team of Mr. Galaxy and Astro Turk. Poor Astro Turk never had a chance and was pinned by The Guardsman after a top rope splash.
Aethran Power defeated the Con-Men when The Guardsman pinned Astro Turk with a top-rope splash
Vlad Hammer vs Mesmer
With his former partner gone, Vlad Hammer started his singles career against the always tough Mesmer. Hammer looked a little lost without a partner, and quickly fell to the Blackout.
Mesmer defeated Vlad Hammer with the Blackout
GWF vs Ultimate Force FDF Legends vs WarMongers
Ultimate Force started the new year with a dominant showing, as the WarMongers managed to keep Commander Sam in the ring and beat the grizzled veteran. UF seemed to be starting 2093 right where 2092 left off....
WarMongers defeated FDF Legends when Thantos pinned Commander Sam after the Satanic Skull Crusher
GWF vs Ultimate Force Iron Mane vs Alpha
Alpha had been dominant on the recent tour, defending the Interplanetary title 8 times. One of those defenses was against Iron Mane who fell to the Ultimate Force submission hold. Iron Mane came in with a lot of fire and actually dominated most of the match! He hit Alpha with the Final Pounce and looked to have him beat but pulled him up at 2! He hit the Final Pounce again, this time scoring the win! Alpha was left twitching clearly hurt, while Iron Mane screamed in delight and anger.
Iron Mane pinned Alpha after the Final Pounce
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Keepers of the Stone (UF, c) vs The Wildmen (GWF)
UF had kept The Wildmen from the King of the Galaxy with continuous attacks. This was the chance for the Wildmen to get revenge. Despite interference from the WarMongers, Lance At-Las was able to lock in the Martian Man-Handlet on Rogue and win the Galaxian Tag titles! The crowd erupted in cheers as the first major blow to UF had been dealt!
The Wildmen defeated The Keepers to win the Galaxian Tag Team Championship when Lance At-Las defeated Rogue with the Martian Man-Handler
Galaxian Championship Chaos (UF, c) vs Justice (GWF)
With the momentum from the last two wins for the GWF, the fans were expecting Justice to come through and take the most important title in all of pro wrestling: The Galaxian Championship! Chaos had other ideas, and submitted Justice with the Bow of Defeat. The WarMongers and The Keepers came down to attack Justice, but the FDF Legends, the Wildmen and Iron Mane was able to thwart the attack. Iron Mane hit Chaos with the Final Pounce in the brawl, leaving Chaos laying in the middle of the ring as the GWF wrestlers celebrated at the end of the show!
Chaos submitted Justice with the Bow of Defeat to retain the Galaxian Title

Pro Wrestling Investigated Special Report Theme of February GWF Supercard announced -- Shocking announcement!
It has been confirmed by sources within the GWF and on Titan that the legendary Lord Nexus has decided to call it a career! One of the greats from the early days of the GWF, he recently had a rather disastrous run in UCW. He will return home for one more match, at a card being put together in his honor! Nexus reportedly requested that his last match be against a man he feels will take pro-wrestling into the next century: Justice! The GWF syndicated shows for the next month will contain a 4 part retrospective on the career of Lord Nexus (presumably leaving out the UCW bit), in preparation for the event.
UCW is scheduled to run it's biggest event of the year in a couple of weeks. It will be interesting to see if they respond to this news in any way.

Pro Wrestling Investigated Special Report UCW referees told to be more lenient on disqualification
Zachary Carter, in response to the critical response to all the disqualifications on January's Super Card, has told all officials to be more lenient on transgressions, only stopping the match for the most flagrant of abuses, or for continued breaking of the rules. The new interpretations were trialled with much success at satellite events in the past couple of weeks, and will debut on the big stage at Slammasters.

I see you posted a bunch of new cards. I'll have to catch up soon but Lord Nexus retiring caught my eye right off. Glad to see his send-off getting the big treatment. I loved Lord Nexus in the early years of my fed. He was one of the top 3 guys in my fed for awhile and traded the GWF title with Thantos a couple times. They had some great matches. It's really cool to see him hand pick Justice to pass the torch too. Justice is another awesome character that I really liked. He had some of my favorite art from the early years.
