I was just wondering if Chikara has ever defined what makes the Eye of Tyr so powerful or what it's specific powers are. I know it brought Delirious under the BDK banner but I don't think I had heard a ton else.

If I remember corectly the Eye of Tyr has the power to control people's minds. Ultramantis Black actually got it originally from Dr. Cube of Kaiju Big Battel (in exchange for Chris Hero...not going into all of that) and used it to take control of Delirious so that he, Delirious and Crossbones could compete in the King of Trios tournament. But the Eye has a curse that says that bad luck will befall anyone who doesn't pass it on after using it. Ultramantis kept it despite this warning. Many months worth of angle later we learn that the Eye originaly belonged to the father of Ares, who returned to get it back...and with it took control of Delirious from UMB (then apparently passed it back to his father or something to negate the curse) and form the BDK... Maybe Ares held on to it for himself as well.
The BDK are a distant memory in Chikara in 2012.
