Good, not great show. Happy Sheamus won. He deserves it. Crazy to think we might get Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus in the Main Event when their match was scratched from last years show. Is this Vince's way of making it up to two guys who can help lead the future of his company? I'm very excited for the possibility of this match. If they go with it I hope they recognize their past.
The Rumble itself had some fun moments (Ricardo was great, Kharma was a legit surprise) and some major groaners (Foley and his crap with Santino). Overall the rumble lacked some serious star power and IMO that hurt it a lot. Some thing just baffled me. No Brodus in the rumble? Big Show being 30th (AGAIN. UHG!)...why does Big Show and Ziggler get in but Kane doesn't?
Overall I'll give the show a 7/10. Not one of the better rumbles. Ending was good. Undercard looked a lot better on paper. Sucks that Henry was injured.
Looking forward to RAW tonight, and I'm looking forward to the EC. Keeping my fingers crossed that both Punk and DB hold their belts until Mania. I think both deserve to defend at Mania.

I read the results and they put some stuff on that show that would be filler on RAW: Brodus versus Drew and the diva tag match, to give two specific examples. Also, two lengthy John Cena video packages. It seems incredibly odd to me to kick off a PPV with a world title match inside a cage. Times have changed I suppose, and position on the show and even championships just don't matter like they used to.
I like that Shemus won and I hope they give him a nice chance to shine. The guy has legitimate star qualities.

After having just watched it I was a bit underwhelmed. The Diva match was nothing more than a Raw match and not a good one at that. The Rumble just didn't do much for me at all, although I am a Sheamus mark so it wasn't all bad, that and Cody Rhodes looked strong. Cena v Kane was, as is the angle BAD. Outside of Punk v Ziggler I was not impressed as a whole. I'll go 5 outta 10, not the worst certainly not the best.

I read the results and they put some stuff on that show that would be filler on RAW: Brodus versus Drew and the diva tag match, to give two specific examples. Brodus is the new breakout character and people really react to it now so they had to put him on. I thought we might see him in the Rumble match but then somebody would have to eliminate him and it looks like WWE wants to keep him strong by continuing his squashing of all his opponents. It seems incredibly odd to me to kick off a PPV with a world title match inside a cage. Times have changed I suppose, and position on the show and even championships just don't matter like they used to. I figured somebody would post this and I'm sure a lot of wrestling fans feel this way. Here's how I look at it. The Rumble match is obviously last. The Punk match with JL has some major intrigue and so does the Triple Threat Cage match. You had to space them out in the card. I loved the show starting with the cage match. Got the crowd amped right off the bat. Then you have the Divas Match, which was way better than I expected. But here, the intensity of the crowd relaxes - by design. Then the fun Brodus match. Punk - Ziggler put on a great match and interesting how it ended but again this match not as intense as the opener which is good because you have an hour long main event and the people can only ride those emotional highs for so long. I agree with Swarm on this show. Good, not great. Some nice things, some "meh" things. The Rumble match is my favorite of the whole year. The PPV itself is like the big kickoff to all the cool stuff that happens leading up to Mania, like when Tom releases a new set.

Personally, I had fun watching the show but it's not a show I'd really ever want to watch again. It's in the same vein as the early Rumble shows where the only thing that was really worth the watch was the Rumble match.
Punk/Ziggler ended up being a less entertaining match than the excellent match they had on RAW, and everything else on the show was just...there. Kane/Cena was godawful, the Divas tag was a Divas tag, Brodus and McIntyre both should have been in the Rumble and the Cage match was as good as it could have been given the big dudes were hurt.
The Rumble match itself had some fun moments and went by really quickly, but when it ended I was like, "That was a shocker" and then just went about my business. Without the Rumble match, it could have been any three hour episode of RAW and nobody would have been able to have told the difference. IMO it's the worst Rumble PPV of the recent ones, at least since the 2002 show.

Overall a bit of a let down vs. the excellent Rumble we had last year. Good to see Sheamus win. A mild surprise, but one of the 3 or 4 guys I thought had a chance to win it.
The Punk-Ziggler match was good, but not as great as I thought it could be. The JL parts of the match just seemed off.
I'm a bit surprised that people thought the cage match was in a bad spot. Before the Rumble started I assummed it would open the show. You always want to open a PPV with a strong match, and there was no way Cena or Punk's matches were opening.
Favorite parts of the Rumble: - Ricardo Rodriguez' entrance...loved the car - Return of Kharma. Hope she is back full time. - Kofi's handstand. Did he show up John Morrison?
