So PW Insider has confirmed that one of the slated shows for the launch of the WWE network would be a wrestling show with wrestler that are all at or below 200 lbs. I think this is a pretty cool idea, and it says that WWE has been compiling a list of indy talent that would be on the show.
Who do you think would be a good fit? The first name that comes to mind for me is Austin Aries.

It also was reported they would hold these shows in Florida at some Full Sail University building and that it would only be held at that facility. The WWE needs programming and them holding off atleast till fall gives them time to create programs like this concept for the WWE Network, but we'll see if this comes true...

That would be kind of cool if true. Full Sail is here in Orlando. Not sure if there are more in Florida or not.

I'm into this idea. This makes me feel like there is a legit chance WWE and CHIKARA/talent could actually work together one day.

This show definitely has me intrigued. The WWE has a lot of the criuser guys either on the roster or in FCW so this makes sense to run a show featuring them. This is also a way to educate the newest generation of fans on the cruiserweight style of wrestling.
Many fans watching WWE didn't see the Monday Night wars where WCW had Jericho, Mysterio, EG, Ultimo Dragon, and WWE having Taka Michinoku and others and how those guys work matches. It's always entertaining to watch cruiser matches so I'm all for this show!

There were some great cruiserweight matches back when those guys you mentioned were wrestling in WCW & WWE. Another one that I enjoyed in WWE was Essa Rios.
