Show opens in a hospital room where Michael McKinney is in all forms of casts and traction.
MCKINNEY: This is all you are, Gladiators. Just bullies. Well, you four. You have bullied the wrong guy! You may be big and strong and tough but I have connections! I know people. I know people who know people! You want a war? I know just who will give it to you.
MCDUFF: Welcome to Saturday Night Invasion. Susan McDuff alongside Eek and oh wouldn’t you know it. We are being joined by the Gladiators.
BRUTE: McKinney knows somebody!
MASSACRE: Who knows somebody!
SPIKE: We know people, too, McKinney! We know Aethrans! Hahahahaha!
MAYHEM: You know who I know? I know me! The King of the Torture Chamber! And, I want someone in the Torture Chamber on the 27th! In fact, I want….Ursa Major! Hahahaha! I’ll show you a bully!
MCDUFF: Oh my goodness gracious! It’s Solaris and the Greek Gods!
EEK: What are they sticking their nose in Gladiator business for?
SOLARIS: Brute. Massacre. I believe you have met Actagon and Proteus.
BRUTE: Hah! We’ve had the Cleansing since then! They aren’t a challenge to us anymore.
SOLARIS: Are you saying you are scared? You don’t want a match? Tonight?
MASSACRE: You got your match! We’ll beat up anybody!
THE YOUNG ALLIES VS THE AWESOME STUDS W/SWEET THING
The Allies hit the SUPERPOWER SUMMIT on Vanity but Mr Galaxy makes the save. Mr Galaxy catches Adam Blast in the MUSCLE RIPPER but can’t get the submission. Blast hits Galaxy with the Torpedo Dive for a one count. Mr Galaxy again applies the MUSCLE RIPPER on Blast but Vlad Hammer makes the save. And repeat. Finally, Blast submits to the MUSCLE RIPPER.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: THE AWESOME STUDS
EEK: They’re studs! And they’re …. Awesome!
MCDUFF: Vanity giving Adam Blast a verbal beatdown now. Wow. Some serious bad blood there still. The Studs will be facing the Barbarians on the 27th.
THE KEEPERS OF THE STONE VS THE EASTERN DYNASTY
Mitsuko nails Rogue with a shoulder shop and makes a cover for a one count. The Dynasty gives Rogue the MONGOLIAN MAULER and Mitsuko makes the cover and gets another one count. One more MONGOLIAN MAULER and Mitsuko pins Rogue as Ghengis Khan cuts off Scourge.

EEK: What an upset.
,MCDUFF: Double C is backstage having a party I am sure. Will the Dynasty be able to beat the Allies on the 27th?

Actagon hits Brute with a flying skullcrusher to score a one count. Proteus tags in and gives Brute the OVERHEAD TOSS and gets a one count. Actagon tags in and applies the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP but Brute makes it to the ropes. Massacre gives Actagon THE CLEANSING and gets a one count. The Gladiators give Actagon the DECAPITATOR but Actagon again kicks out at one. Massacre hit a flying knee smash and covers Actagon and gets a two count. Massacre again with THE CLEANSING and one count on Actagon. Massacre gets a two count on Proteus with THE CLEANSING. THE CLEANSING again to Proteus and Actagon makes the save. Massacre with a flying knee smash and cover and Proteus just kicks out before the count of three. Massacre can only get a two count with the Massacre Slam on Proteus. Massacre with THE CLEANSING and one two and somehow Proteus kicks out again before the count of three. Brute tags in and hits the BRUTE FORCE on Proteus and Massacre cuts off Actagon as Brute scores the three count.

A tall hooded unidentified figure appears on the holotron. Michael McKinney’s voice accompanies the vision. “A war is coming.”
ROCKET: Welcome to Monday Night War Games! Johnny Rocket alongside Freebird Steve and Michael McKinney, again, promising to bring a war to the Gladiators.
STEVE: And, we have the Galacticops coming out now.
SAM: The Gladiators of Aethra have been pushing people around for way too long, Rocket.
PUNISHER: We don’t care about no Aethran Escape Match in two weeks. Let’s do this, tonight!
SPIKE: Hold up there, Detective Do-Gooder. Brute and Massacre will meet you two in two weeks. But, if you are really itching for a fight tonight, how about you face Mayhem and myself.
MAYHEM: Police brutality has never been so much fun! Hahahahaha!
POWERHOUSE W/COMMANDER SAM VS PRISON CAMP W/DOOMSAYER
Massif delivers a head butt and goes to pin Tendron but Tongsoon makes the save. Earthquake tags in and delivers the CLIFFHANGER to Tendron but can only get a two count. Massif applies a grinding bear hug to Tendron. Tongsoon comes in to make the save but Massif gives Prison Camp the Noggin’ Knocker and covers Tendron and scores the three count as Doomsayer can’t make the distraction.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: POWERHOUSE
ROCKET: And more trouble now between Tongsoon and Doomsayer, with their chance to retake the Inteprlanetary Tag Team Titles just two weeks away!
STEVE: Tongsoon is out of line! He needs to listen to Doomsayer.
THE GREEK GODS W/SOLARIS VS ABOVE THE LAW W/ROYAL OVERLORD
Proteus misses a turnbuckle charge and Mad Jester rolls him up and just misses getting the three count. Jester gives Actagon the JAGGED EDGE and gets a one count. Bishop Hell hits the FLYING CROSS on Actagon for a two count. Another JAGGED EDGE on Actagon scores another two count. Hell with HELLFIRE and Actagon kicks out at one. Another JAGGED EDGE and one two and Actagon kicks out again. Proteus is counted out.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH AS A RESULT OF A COUNTOUT: ABOVE THE LAW
ROCKET: Proteus is dragging Actagon away from the ring. He is sacrificing the match to save his partner!
STEVE: What an idiot. Above the Law is looking good tonight!
ROCKET: Next up, a rematch from Invasion as ordered by Commissioner Carter.
NIGHTMARE W/MAGNUS COLBY VS THE BARBARIANS
Terak countered a running suplex and turned it into the Terak Head Smasher and scored a one count on Whiplash. Whiplash blocked a sunset flip by sitting down to score a two count on Terak. Splatter hit the HATCHET JOB and just missed getting the three count on Terak. Terak scored a one count on Whiplash following the BARBARIAN SHUFFLE. Renegade locked Whiplash in the SPINECRACKER but Whiplash just managed to reach the ropes to break the hold. Whiplash missed a turnbuckle charge and Terak rolled him up and Splatter made the save. Splatter hit the HATCHET JOB and went for the pin on Terak but Renegade made the save. The referee put Renegade back in his corner, allowing Nightmare to double team Terak and then Splatter made another cover and the ref counted to three as Whiplash cut off Renegade.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: NIGHTMARE
ROCKET: What a great match. VX Promotions and the GWF have the best tag team action in the galaxy.
THE TITAN EXPRESS W/TRAINER JIM VS THE KEEPERS OF THE STONE
Pulsar Prime catches Rogue in the SOLAR STRAIN but can’t get the submission. Dragonmaster tags in and hits the DRAGON DROP on Rogue and gets a two count. Pulsar tags back in and reapplies the SOLAR STRAIN and Rogue just barely gets to the ropes to force the break. Pulsar Prime gets a two count on Rogue via the Titan Drop. Pulsar with the WHIRLWIND and a one count on Rogue. Dragonmaster hits a deathjump on Rogue and goes for the cover but Scourge makes the save. Dragonmaster hits Rogue with a double karate hammer and gets a two count. Pulsar hits a deathjump and covers Rogue and, again, Scourge makes the save. Pulsar catches Scourge with the Titan Drop and scores a one count. Dragonmaster misses a turnbuckle charge and Rogue rolls him up for a one count. The Keepers are disqualified.

ROCKET: An easy win for the new War Games Tag Team Champions.
STEVE: Doomsayer has built the best new villain team in the GWF.
ROCKET: Our main event is next.
SPIKE AND MAYHEM W/THE GUARDSMAN VS THE GALACTICOPS W/COMMANDER SAM
Galactic Punisher delivers the VERDICT for a one count on Mayhem. Spike can barely even get a one count after giving Justice the MEGADESTROYER. Justice hits Spike with the Canon Law and covers and gets a one count. Punisher tags in and gives Spike the LIFE SENTENCE and scores a two count. Punisher counters a Mayhem deathjump into a pin and just misses getting the three count. Spike uses a running shoulder crash to get a one count on Punisher. Mayhem with a face smash scores a two count on Justice. The Galacticops get disqualified.

Like your fed VX...I'm a sucker for this era of the GWF, and you're doing it well!
Looks like you're having a lot of tag-team matches. Any special rules you might use for your tag-team bouts? Sometimes I struggle with tag-team matches, and am always looking for ways to enhance them, make them stand out from singles matches.
Keep up the good stuff, I'll keep reading along!

Like your fed VX...I'm a sucker for this era of the GWF, and you're doing it well! Looks like you're having a lot of tag-team matches. Any special rules you might use for your tag-team bouts? Sometimes I struggle with tag-team matches, and am always looking for ways to enhance them, make them stand out from singles matches. Keep up the good stuff, I'll keep reading along! A couple things. Pin saves. I roll after a successful pin is rolled. I make tag teams be tag teams and tag in an out after every offensive move. That way, one dominant wrestler won't control the match by himself. |

VANITY: Adam Blast! I know you’ve been eyeing Sweet Thing! I’m about to show her who the better man is!
ADAM BLAST VS VANITY W/SWEET THING
Blast hits the MEGABLAST and scores the three count as Sweet Thing is unable to make the distraction.

Battering Ram scores a one count on Bishop Hell following a shoulder tackle. Ram scores another one count on Hell following a head butt. Wolf tags in and applies the SAVAGE FACE CLAW on Hell and Mad Jester makes the save. Jester uses the JAGGED EDGE on Wolf and Ram makes the save. Bishop Hell scores a one count on Wolf via the FLYING CROSS. Hell gets a two count on Wolf following a dropkick. Jester tags in and applies a choke hold and then covers Wolf but can barely get a one count. Hell tags back in and blasts Wolf with HELLFIRE and again can just get a one count. Hell gives Wolf a piledriver and makes the cover and Ram makes the save. The ref puts Ram back in the corner and Above the Law double teams Wolf and then Hell makes the cover but Wolf kicks out at two. Jester with the Joker Flip on Wolf and the cover but Amazonia makes the distraction. Hell misses a dropkick and Wolf hits the Wolf Skullcrusher and pins Hell as Ram cuts off Jester.

Matter catches Dragonmaster in a power slam and scores a one count. Antimatter tags in and gives Dragonmaster the NEGATIVE CHARGE and gets a two count. Dragonmaster hits Antimatter with a double karate hammer and goes for the cover but Matter makes the save. Matter hits Dragonmaster with the Matter Mauler and the ref counts 1…2…kickout! Antimatter tags in and gives Dragonmaster the NEGATIVE CHARGE and Pulsar Prime makes the save. Matter uses the Atom Smash to get a two count on Pulsar. Antimatter tags in and gives Pulsar the NEGATIVE CHARGE but can only get a one count. Matter goes for the pin after giving Dragonmaster the Matter Mauler but Pulsar makes the save. Matter thought he had it won with the POSITIVE CHARGE on Pulsar but Trainer Jim made the distraction. Antimatter tagged in and gave Pulsar the NEGATIVE CHARGE but could only get a two count. Dragnomaster got the flying scissor lock on Matter but could not get a submission. Pulsar tagged in and caught Matter in the SOLAR STRAIN but Matter just managed to reach the ropes to break the hold. Antimatter hits the NEGATIVE CHARGE on Dragonmaster and goes for the pin but Jim interferes. Antimatter executes an atomic drop on Dragonmaster and finally is able to score a three count.

VOICE-OVER: Last Man Standing is the Galaxian Heavyweight Champion. The Interplanetary Title will be high upon a pole. Former champions look to regain their belts. Tomorrow night, at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena.
MCDUFF: Welcome to Saturday Night Invasion! Susan McDuff alongside Eek and, tomorrow night, we will be at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. What a show that will be tomorrow night.
EEK: Tomorrow night will be the end of Star Warrior. Facing Chaos in a Last Man Standing Match? He has no chance to survive!
THE YOUNG ALLIES VS THE AWESOME STUDS W/SWEET THING
Mr Galaxy applies the MUSCLE RIPPER but Adam Blast refuses to submit. Blast gets a two count on Galaxy with the MEGABLAST. Vanity scores a one count on Vlad Hammer with the Vanity Flip. Hammer scores a two count on Vanity following a knee drop. Blast hits the MEGABLAST on Vanity but Galaxy makes the pin save. The Awesome Studs are counted out.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH AS A RESULT OF A COUNTOUT: THE YOUNG ALLIES
MCDUFF: Vanity has Sweet Thing by the arm and they are running for their lives from the Young Allies.
THE BARBARIANS VS THE EASTERN DYNASTY
Renegade locks Ghengis Khan in the SPINECRACKER but can not get the submission. Renegade captures Mitsuko in the SPINECRACKER but, again, can’t make him submit. Mitsuko nails Terak with a karate kick and scores a one count. Khan tags in and delivers the TWIN THRUST but Terak kicks out at two. Khan gives Terak a deadly throat chop and makes the cover. Renegade comes in and is put back in his corner by the referee, allowing the Dynasty to double team Terak. Khan then makes the cover but Terak kicks out at two. Mitsuko tags in and the Dynasty gives Terak the MONGOLIAN MAULER. Mitsuko covers for the three as Khan cuts off Renegade.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: THE EASTERN DYNASTY
EEK: Double C here and congratulating the Eastern Dynasty.
DOUBLE C: Tomorrow night, the Young Allies will get the beating they’ve had coming to them.

Tongsoon scores a one count on Rogue with the Cygnus Slam. Scourge scores a two count on Tongsoon with the Pirate Pounce. The Keepers hit the DIVIDE AND CONQUER on Tongsoon and Rogue makes the cover but Tongsoon kicks out at two. Tongsoon hits Scourge with a foreign object and makes the cover but can only get a two count. Tendron gives Scourge THE SMOTHERING but Rogue makes the save. Tongsoon uses the Warrior Whip to get a one count on Scourge. Rogue nails Tongsoon with a roundhouse right hook and Scourge cuts off Tendron as Rogue scores the one…two…three.

MCDUFF: An impressive win in this match between teams looking to regain tag gold tomorrow night.
THE GREEK GODS W/SOLARIS VS NIGHTMARE W/MAGNUS COLBY
Whiplash nails Proteus with the Headsman Guillotine and scores a two count. Splatter nails Actagon with the HATCHET JOB and scores a two count. Actagon catches Splatter in the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP but can’t finish him off on two separate occasions. Proteus gives Splatter the OVERHEAD TOSS and just misses getting a three count. Actagon tags back in and still can’t finish Splatter off with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP. But, one more GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP finale ends it for Splatter as Proteus keeps Whiplash from making the save.

MCDUFF: The Greek Gods are still one of the best tag teams ever. True legends.
