Presidents who wrestled: Lincoln Washington Taft (watch out for that BIG SPLASH finisher) Teddy Roosevelt (would definitely be the Monolith of any Legends Presidents set) Andrew Jackson (the first hardcore wrestler?) Grant Coolidge (THE SILENCER as a finisher?) After doing a little research this morning (History's a lot more fun when you're not being forced to memorize dates or things like that), and I would love an all-president 4-pack in the future! It'd be a lot of fun to come up with creative promos for Silent Cal. Taft would be a fun big man to use. I could see Grant as a trouble-maker. And Roosevelt, I agree, Monolith-like card!

What about King Henry VIII , he was a good wrestler ? I'd use him! Then again I work for a Renaissance Festival part of the year, so it would actually be kind of awesome for me...

If we're going for famous wrestlers of the past..we could always use Milo.

The more I think about it, the more I am really looking forward to adding Abraham Lincoln to the roster of Major League Wrestling! Lincoln was actually the president who brought Nevada into the Union back in 1864 even though Nevada did not have the minimum population requirement yet to go from a territory to a state. Although it turned out he did not need them because Lincoln's reelection over George McClellan in 1864 was not as close as they thought it would be, Lincoln's administration at the time wanted more Republican electoral votes for the Election of 1864 and also to get more Republicans into Congress. They did not go with Utah because Utah at the time had legalized polygamy so they instead went with Nevada (which was admitted just 8 days before the Election of 1864.) Having a wrestler (Lincoln) on my roster who is responsible for bringing the state my fed takes place in into the Union should present me with some good storyline ideas.

With Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter coming out. Will this a parody card or a card for a young lincoln?

With Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter coming out. Will this a parody card or a card for a young lincoln? I'm sure it will be a legit Lincoln card but HOW DID I FORGET THIS?! Instant feud with Harker Dirge and/or Blassie!

Ok, normally I wouldn't pay for a set like this. You know, just not my cup of tea. BUT!!! If someone made a Teddy Roosevelt wrestling card. I would be super stoked and would pay for it.
Just a side note of history I was taught in college; Jack Dempsey met President Roosevelt and during dinner Teddy wanted to "spar" with the champ. After some prodding the champ agreed. Teddy had a ring in the basement of the white house. How cool is that. So anyway, as they were beginning to spar, Teddy rushed the champ and begin trying to take his head off, well the champ had to protect himself from the onslaught of the President. He hit Teddy basically to back him off, but instead clipped him good and turned the Presidents lights out. Dempsey at this point was very nervous that he killed the president. As Teddy was getting help, he awoke and was so excited he got knocked out by the champ he jumped up and clasped Dempsey on the shoulder and said "Bully good show Bully Good!"
Now is this true? I don't know, my history professor sure thought it was. If it is urban legend, that's ok. Makes a heck of a Teddy story. So I AM IN! If a card is made.

As far as I know it is true. I have never found anything to rebuke it. And it fits Teddy to a key.

Just under 2 weeks left in the month. It shouldn't be much longer. At least with pdf's, we don't have to wait for them in the mail.
