WWE posted a video listing the top 10 factions.
10. The Corporation 9. The Dangerous Alliance 8. The Ministry of Darkness 7. The Heenan Family 6. The Nation of Domination 5. Evolution 4. Hart Foundation 3. NWO 2. DX 1. 4 Horsemen
What do you think?
It seems to be focused on just the factions from WWE & WCW. I am not so sure The Corporation should be on this list but they certainly did have the top stars at the time. I just don't think it was the best angle.
I also think that The Nation of Domination is probably a little high. The members of the group all became much more popular AFTER the group disbanded.
Evolution was a great group that I really liked. It was like a new 4 Horsemen. I wished that this group would have lasted longer. Legacy was almost like an extension of it.
My personal opinion is that the NWO should be #2. They came first. Their impact was much greater. I actually am not sure there would even be a DX without the NWO.
Certainly the 4 Horsemen should be #1. It would be tough to find many people to argue against that.

nWo should definitely be #2....hart Foundation should not be in the top 5 at all...NOD shouldn't be in the top 10....Heenan Family honestly should be a bit higher.
I know they didn't use other feds...but honestly, Devastation Inc. would have been in my top 5 for sure.

DX wasn't really like the nWo. They were originally two guys with a bodyguard. And HHH was a sidekick really. Heenan Family should be higher. Nation of Domination was cool, but they didn't really stick around that long .

To me, the top three should be: 3. The Heenan Family 2. NWO 1. 4 Horsemen
After that, I could see a lot of different opinions, but the Heenan Family was HUGE back in the 80's, and it even had iterations in different feds. Maybe I'm dating myself, but I consider the Heenan Family right up there with the nWo and Horsemen (even though I only watched the Horsemen at the end of their run).

Maybe it's just me but I think the Dangerous Alliance should be higher. They were the biggest faction of the early 90's in my memory. Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Larry Zbezko (I know I spelled that wrong), Madusa, and Paul E. Great group and that really transformed WCW.

They were a great faction but didn't last to long if I remember right. This was one of WCW's wisest moves in that era. Then Hogan came along and screwed it all up, LOL.

Personally the Dangerous Alliance should of been higher and The Nation of Domination lower ? .
I agree that I was amazed NO Freebirds or Radicals both better than the Ministry of Darkness ?
Cant believe NO ONE has mentioned Nexus
