Green Ice and It's How You Play the Game

I'll let this serve as the thread for both of the Canadian shows before the show happens as well as afterwards when people have watched the show and want some place to share their comments.

I noticed that Leah Von Dutch is scheduled to face Sara Del Ray on the second show. Leah was working one of the merchandise tables at High Noon and was really friendly to me and got me to friend her on facebook from my phone. She seems really eager for the business and was working hard to meet the fans, so I hope she does well, although I don't think any girl has any chance against Sara Del Ray when the men in Chikara barely do!

Who are 17 and The Shard? Anyone know?

A four corner elimination tag match where two of the teams have yet to be announced is intriguing.. wonder if any ROH tag teams will show up to take those spots *cough* Briscoe Brothers *cough*

Chuck Taylor hinted in a promo that when 3.0 challenge for the Campeones de Parejas that there could be any combination of F.I.S.T. defending their titles -- which has me wondering if Johnny Gargano is even healthy enough to compete yet? And if he isn't, does that mean that Chucky T and Icarus are going to drop the titles to 3.0?

Evidently 17 & The Shard are 2 of the 5 that had attacked a few weeks ago.

Shard is the "doppleganger" of Jigsaw who is targeting him, while 17 is the one targeting Quack. 17 is a play off the number of years pro Quack has wrestled. The other 3 are a Ants targeting the Colony.

Interesting. I wonder why those five in particular are being targeted? Somebody with a grudge specifcally against them or can we expect more dopplegangers in the future?

Well except for maybe Kingston and Del Rey, they're probably the top faces. Del Rey would be hard to have a doppleganger for, and Kingston probably has better things to deal with as champ.

I just saw that these shows are now available for purchase. I didn't see the MP4 option for either Green Ice or It's How You Play the Game, so I bought the streaming option at $9.99/show.

Yeah unfortunately I heard that they aren't doing MP4s anymore. How is the streaming version working for you? I have heard mixed reviews.

I'll be at I'll be a Mummy's Uncle tomorrow. I'll let you know if its worth a buy. No huge matches, but looks like a fun card.

I have only been using Smart Mark's video on demand streaming for a little over a week (last week for $9.99 I bought last year's Chikarasaurus Rex: King of Sequel - Night 1,) but so far I am not having any problems with it and the streaming option makes it more affordable for me to see most of the CHIKARA shows without taking up space on my computer.

I do however wish Smart Mark already had IOS service (which their website says they are getting soon) so I could watch the shows I get through streaming on my IPAD (it would have been useful last weekend when I went to Seattle for Easter.) Have fun at CHIKARA tomorrow!
