Congrats to the Kings on an amazing run to the Cup! Gotta give it up to the Devils for coming back to make it a good series.

Yesterday I was in Los Angeles and the crowd was talking about tonight's game while standing in line for the NWA Hollywood show I attended.
Congrats to the Los Angeles Kings on winning the first Stanley Cup in their franchise's history!

Awesome game last night! Congrats to the Kings and to Quick for being the new awesome goalie on the block.
That being said, I'm hoping Brodeur sticks around for at least one more year. It would suck knowing that, in the final game of your career, you gave allowed 5 goals. Granted he's got an awesome career so their should be no regrets, but that make it hard for me to walk away.

Brodeur does have one more left on his current deal, so I can see him coming back for one last shot at winning it all once again.

Out west, while i REALLY, REALLY want my hometown Kings to shock Vancouver. While I was pessimistic and only looking at the first round, I am LOVING IT that the Kings are in the Finals! And I REALLY, REALLY want them to bring Lord Stanley's Cup to LA! I was at Dodger Stadium when the KINGS won game 6 on Monday. We were listening to the game on the way to the stadium and then watching it on the TVs throughout the stadium bee fore the game started. They showed the last 10 seconds on he big screen and then a bit of the celebration. It was crazy even there...not as crazy as some friends have said Stapes was, but it is GREAT to be here in LA and see the KINGS win the CUP! I am hoping they CUP will be on display for a few days so that I can get a chance to go and see it. The parade was today, so hopefully next week... I just hope we don't have to wait 44 years for another title...
