Jones vs Evans is a fight that's been over a year in the making. Former teammates/friends do battle for the UFC LHW Title. So far nobody in the division has been able to deal with Jones and his 84 inch reach...against Rashad he'll have nine on his side. Fans of old school wrestling storytelling will appreciate the 'creative' behind selling this fight, an intensive one on one plus moderator! UFC Ultimate Insider: Face Off

I put a little something on Rashad today at +425. My mind says Jones, but with a crazy line like that the risk to reward is too good to pass up.

Some good fights last night. Jon Jones used his reach well, I had him winning all 5 rounds. Rashad was tough, but just couldn't get inside.

I enjoyed the fights but was a little disappointed in the main event. Good fight but just not quite what I had hoped for. I tend to think that the 2 former training partners just knew each other too well for one of them to be completely dominant.

I enjoyed the fights but was a little disappointed in the main event. Good fight but just not quite what I had hoped for. I tend to think that the 2 former training partners just knew each other too well for one of them to be completely dominant. That's a good point. Rashad was unable to get inside and was too scared to take a big knee on a shot that wasn't likely to work anyway. Jones was cautious but did enough on his feet to win every round. His mid range elbows were outstanding. A very strategic fight, but not the most entertaining. Below is a great breakdown on how Rory MacDonald used a far arm whizzer from side control to set up a crucifix and some devastating GnP. Top level analysis as always from Rorion's kids. I'm going to pick up the 16 GJJ Street Chokes video (featured at the end) as a show of appreciation for what they do. Good stuff! UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans (Gracie Breakdown)
