I'm pretty sure it's due to the people that (to put it nicely) *complain* that online people get to view it and play it before people get theirs in the mail. Other wise why would it change? There is no real reason other than that. It's a shame, but more people could be like MT and boycott buying it online now, thus hurting the online product over a few irate people that get their Cheerios peed on. Luckily for FG, I primarily play online so they've got me there or else I'd be next in the boycott line to Mark. Online people are paying customers and just because mail is the way it has always been takes the cake over online people getting it later on G-Con weekend. It's not fair, but it is what it is. G-Con people get theirs, the mail goes out and people get theirs and then Online becomes the red-headed step child and takes the back seat so we can't read/play it before the mail people and post the spoilers, ruffling the feathers. /rant What I wanted to say. Thanks.

I haven't played much online but I feel for you guys. I hope that Avarice is incorrect because then the same argument could be made for people at GCon getting it first. Or people who live in closer USPS range. And that's a little silly.

Well, there's no other reason online players would have to wait...

My beef isn't about the G-Con people getting it first, that's just a benefit for attending G-Con. For the past couple or so years we've gotten it on Friday or Saturday of G-Con and then last year there was much bitching going on and now all of a sudden we have to wait. Like I said, it is what it is, but if FG sees a dip in online sales for 2128, then they will have a good place to start looking as to why.

I'm not even ready to play it, but I was going to buy it ASAP. I feel for those who are ready to play it.

uhm, I don't know anything about any of that. It is a shame if that was the truth. But I can't see Tom or the Online crew allowing something like that. It does not fit the FG culture.

Are you serious, bro? I love the community as much as the next guy (even though I've only been playing since 2004), but our community could have been written into a prime time drama for Lifetime. When you have a group of people who are so passionate about something, that being FG games, peoples' feathers will get ruffled all the time. No lie, I've never seen grown men act so oddly and vile at times... but this is the internet.

Avarice's comments while may not be popular with some, seem spot on. He is not alone in this assessment.

Nor have I have I ever had harsh words with anyone that I can remember.

You must have missed the old boards. Some good old fashioned slobberknockers over there.
