When I say that it is possible that he taught Cena "everything he knows", I'm talking about from a ring aspect. He taught him the arm drag, how to take a bump, things like that. In no way am I saying that he taught him how to cut a promo or get over with the fans.

This might sound mean, but I honestly think his best work (entertainment-wise) was with the toy horse in WCW. It was actually really funny. No it is not mean. Talk to most actors and they will say comedy is the hardest thing to pull off. Chavo was brilliant at that time. He carried that horse as it seemed to not add anything to the bit at all. But that is the curse that he, Santino and Eric Young have to bare. It is easy for creative to turn to them for comedy and thus overlook what else they can contribute to the product.
