I just noticed that ROH on their website said they are making Boiling Point on August 11th an IPPV.
This is the lineup so far:

Although on paper this does not look like much of a PPV lineup, since I don't have plans on August 11th, I am probably going to order this IPPV in tomorrow's sale which only costs Ringside members $10.15.

If you haven't heard, they added ROH World TV Champion, Adam Cole vs "Brutal" Bob Evans in a Proving Ground match and a 4 way matchup of Matt Taven vs. QT Marshall vs. Antonio Thomas vs. Vinny Marseglia.
This is not really a complaint since I am only paying $10 to see it, but overall this lineup looks lackluster for an ROH IPPV- although I am looking forward to seeing Steen vs Kingston in a ROH ring.

If I order, it is 100-percent and only to see Steen versus Kingston.....and Sara Del Rey.

Contemplated ordering for Kingston/Steen, decided I'd rather put the $15 for that towards paying for HardCORE Justice. If this were a $10 iPPV, then whatever...but they want people to pay full price for this card? Good lord.

You know, CZW puts on an iPPV this Saturday, too. That one is 9.99 for the iPPV, or $20 for the combo of iPPV and physical DVD when it gets released. That looks like a pretty good deal.
I love the main event, but I think we're all in agreement that this event looks like it was put together at the last moment. $9.99 is the right price point for this one, but $14.95 has me really on the fence about it.

I understand what you and Switch-Truth are saying about having to pay $15 vs $10 for this IPPV. If I hadn't got it on the one day ROH IPPV sale last week combined with my Ringside membership for a $5 discount, I may not have ordered it either. I would also like to see Saturday's CZW Tangled Web IPPV. But since it is the same time as this IPPV, I plan to watch Boiling Point on Saturday night and then catch the CZW streaming replay of Tangled Web later. |

Roderick Strong defeated Mike Mondo (good opener)
QT Marshall won the 4 corners match to earn a ROH contract
Adam Cole defeated Brutal Bob in a proving ground match
Roderick Strong announced he is "on strike" from the House of Truth because he is mad Michael Elgin (cashing in his title shot from winning last year's Survival of the Fittest) instead of him is getting the title shot at Glory by Honor in October. Strong then sat at ringside with a case of beer to cheer on Charlie Haas in a match against Elgin.
Hass defeated Elgin after Strong spit beer in Elgin's face
current match is Brisoces vs S.C.U.M.'s Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino
