Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 53 The Great White North lost to Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey in a near squash after a Face First Leg Sweep on Michaels to open the show. Jimmy Valiant took a beating but bounced back to defeat the Belgian Brawler after a small package. Frank Gotch challenged George Hackenschmidt to a Finisher Match next week, saying their war won't be over until one of them leaves Ring of Victory. The Masked Superstar beat Timber with a Spinning Neckbreaker. Drake Younger lost to Mad Dog Vachon in a bloody brawl by DQ after busting him open with a light tube outside the ring. RoV Tag Team champions the James Gang lost to Sam Hayne & Harker Dirge by DQ after B.G. was caught hitting Hayne with a chair outside the ring. Chris Hero took his place at the announce table for the main event to do guest commentary. In the main event, Ring of Victory Grand Champion Strangler Lewis fought Claudio Castagnoli to a double DQ outside the ring. Castagnolli hit the Ricola Bomb for a near fall in the opening minutes of the match and looked to be on his way to the RoV Grand Championship. After the bell, Chris Hero threw aside his headset and hit an Asai Moonsault on Lewis and Castagnoli as they were brawling outside the ring. The show went off the air with Hero, Lewis, and Castagnoli brawling down the aisle. next week: - Drake Younger in a rematch against Mad Dog Vachon

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 54 The Naptown Dragons lost to Buddy Rose & Larry Sweeney after Rose hit Vortekz with a foreign object. After the match, Jim Cornette berated the Naptown Dragons, saying he'd hoped they'd at least be able to compete with Eaton & Condrey. Lee snatched the mic from Cornette and said they'd be happy to take on his team next week. Chris Hero lost to Yukon Eric via the Kodiak Krunch after being distracted by Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio and Hero stared each other down after the match but were restrained by RoV officials. The Masked Superstar mauled J.D. Michaels, winning with the Flying Bodypress. For the second week in a row, Drake Younger lost to Mad Dog Vachon via dq after a brawl on the floor. After the match, Younger challenged Vachon to a falls count anywhere match next week. RoV Tag Team champions The James Gang beat Sam Hayne & Harker Dirge to retain the titles after a Pumphandle Slam on Hayne. In the main event, Frank Gotch lost to George Hackenschmidt in a Finisher Match after Hackenschmidt locked on the Russian Bear Hug. After the match, Hackenschmidt refused to release the hold. Referees surrounded Hack but couldn't get him off Gotch. He finally dropped an unconscious Gotch to the mat as the show went off the air. next week: - The Naptown Dragons vs. Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 55 The Great White North and Rose & Sweeney fought to a double dq to open the show. Adam Pearce struggled but beat the Belgian Brawler with the Jumping Piledriver. Jim Cornette issued a challenge to Frank Gotch on George Hackenschmidt's behalf to a steel cage match. Gotch has until next week to respond. Jimmy Valiant took a brutal beating but beat Claudio Castagnoli with the running elbowsmash. The Naptown Dragons lost an amazing match with Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey after a Face First Leg Sweep on Vortekz. After the match, Cornette announced he'd secured a shot at the Ring of Victory tag team titles next week! Mike Quackenbush beat Harker Dirge with the Quakendriver III. Drake Younger beat Mad Dog Vachon in a bloody falls count anywhere match with a chairshot in the aisle. In the main event, Strangler Lewis beat Chris Hero with the Strangler's Headlock in a fast-paced match to retain the RoV Grand Championship. next week: - The Great White Norht vs. Rose & Sweeney in a rematch

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 56 The Great White North beat Buddy Rose & Larry Sweeney by DQ to open the show. Claudio Castagnoli beat S.D. Jones by count out. After the match, Castagnoli challenged Strangler Lewis to a RoV Grand Championship match next week, saying they never had a rematch after their double count out. Drake Younger was interviewed and said he attacked Arik Cannon because he was a sellout and couldn't hack it in RoV. Younger dared Cannon to show up next week and take him on in a hardcore match. Adam Pearce beat Harker Dirge with a Powerslam. Mike Quackenbush surprised the crowd and defeated the Masked Superstar with a running palm strike after being dominated for most of the match. Frank Gotch gave an interview backstage where he accepted George Hackenschmidt's cage match challenge. Jimmy Valiant lost to Chris Hero after a Hero's Welcome in a brutal match. In the main event, the James Gang lost to Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey by DQ when Kip James was caught breaking up the pin. The James Gang retain the RoV Tag Team titles. next week: - Drake Younger vs. Arik Cannon in a hardcore match (if Cannon shows up)

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 57 The Great White North lost to Rose & Sweeney after a 12 Large Elbow Drop on Michaels in a Texas Death match to open the show. Jimmy Valiant lost to the return Necro Butcher via a Tiger Driver in a bloody match. As Valiant was being helped from the ring area by referees, he was brutally attacked by the Prime Time Players (Credible & Bagwell) who were coming out for their match. Valiant had to be stretchered to the back after the assault. The Naptown Dragons beat the Prime Time Players (with DDP) by DQ after a brawl outside the ring. Drake Younger entered the ring and called out Arik Cannon. Cannon came through the crowd and was given a mic. He said he would wrestle Drake Younger but only if the announcer addressed him as "LAW Superstar Arik Cannon," bringing a chorus of boos from the RoV crowd. The announcer reluctantly announced Cannon and the match began. Drake Younger lost to Arik Cannon in a bloody hardcore match after a Glimmering Warlock. Once again, Cannon made the announcer address him as "LAW Superstar Arik Cannon" to the dismay of the crowd. After the match, after he'd recovered, Younger said Cannon got lucky and challenged him to a first blood match next week. Cannon said he'd have to check his LAW schedule first. It was announced that from his hospital bed, Jimmy Valiant challenged either of the Prime Time Players to a singles match next week. Strangler Lewis beat Claudio Castagnoli with the Strangler's Headlock to retain the Ring of Victory Grand Championship in a competitive match. In the main event, Frank Gotch beat George Hackenschmidt with the Gotch Toe Hold in a short cage match. Gotch attacked Hack while he was entering the ring and slammed his leg in the cage door before the bell rang. The show went off the air with Gotch standing victorious inside the cage with Jim Cornette helping Hackenschmidt back to the dressing room. next week: - Jimmy Valiant vs. Buff Bagwell

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 58 The Naptown Dragons beat Buddy Rose & Larry Sweeney by DQ to open the show. The Dragons were fired up and really took it to Rose & Sweeney during the match. Dan Severn demolished the Belgian Brawler, winning by count out. Frank Gotch entered the ring and took the mic. He said he was tired of beating George Hackenschmidt and wanted to end things next week in a Throw in the Towel match. He picked Dan Severn as his cornerman and told Hack to bring whomever he wanted. In a match to determine the next challenge to Strangler Lewis and the Ring of Victory Grand Championship, Chris Hero lost to the Masked Superstar in a great match after the Superstar Clothesline. In a special challenge match, Jimmy Valiant lost to Buff Bagwell after a Buff Blockbuster (and DDP's interference.) After the match, Buff, DDP, and Credible beat down Valiant until the Naptown Dragons made the save. Valiant was bloodied once again and had to be helped to the back. Ring of Victory Tag Team champions The James Gang rallied and beat Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey to retain the titles after a Standing Leg Drop on Eaton. It was announced that Jimmy Valiant has challenged Justin Credible to a match next week. Arik Cannon made his way down to the ring and corrected the announcer, calling himself "LAW Superstar" Arik Cannon, recieving a shower of trash from the crowd. He said he didn't trust other RoV wrestlers not to interfere in his match tonight so he brought someone from the LAW to watch his back. The Mountie came down from the upper levels and took a seat several rows from the ring. In the main event, Drake Younger mauled Arik Cannon in a first blood match, winning after hitting three Drake's Landings in rapid succession followed by busting a light tube over Cannon's head. Younger's celebration was short lived, however. As the referee raised his hand, Younger was attacked from behind by the Mountie. The show went off the air with The Mountie shocking Younger with his cattle prod. next week: - Drake Younger takes on The Mountie

I really like "LAW Superstar" Arik Cannon versus Drake Younger feud and now you've added the Mountie, excellent stuff!

I figured that since the Mountie was so sports entertainent the RoV fans would despise him. I think Younger's Defender of RoV gimmick is working fairly well so far.
