I thought that would build the suspense a little. I'm only planning on doing it in big matches.

Ring of Victory Battlefield
episode 107:
The Backseat Boys (with Fairplay) vs. Delirious & Crossbones:
The Backseat Boys were destroyed by Delirious and Crossbones. D&C attacked before the bell and Kashmere fell to the Freakin' Sweet Driver. After the match, Fairplay walked to the back without the Backseat Boys.

Erick Stevens vs. Belgian Brawler:
Stevens destroyed the Belgian Brawler, winning with the Doctor bomb.

After the match, Stevens was celebrating when Chris Hero entered the ring for the next match. Hero told Stevens to leave the ring. Stevens and Hero jawed until Hero jabbed his thumb in Steven's eye before hitting the Hero's Welcome. Stevens was helped to the back.

Tyler Black vs. Chris Hero:
Black and Hero fought a competitive match and had the crowd on their feet. Hero wore down Black with the Rubic's Cube and hit the Hero's Welcome. Black kicked out and left the ring. Hero and Black fought on the outside until Erick Stevens returned to ringside. Stevens shoved Black aside and attacked Hero, powerbombing him on the concrete. Hero picked up a DQ victory but had to be helped to the back.

Ring of Victory Tag Team champions Jimmy Jacobs & Brody Lee vs. Thunder & Lightning:
Mike Quackenbush and Jimmy Jacobs started the match. Quackenbush wore down Jacobs and scored a near fall with the Quackendriver II but Brodie Lee made the save. Quack tagged in Liger and Liger mauled Jacobs, nearly getting a submission via the surfboard until Brodie Lee again made the save. Jacobs recovered and hit Liger with the railroad spike! Liger's mask was soon drenched in blood. Jacobs clamped on the End Time but Quackenbush made the save. Jacobs tagged in Brodie Lee. Lee dominated Liger and covered him after brutal boot to the face. Quackenbush slid a chair into the ring and attacked Lee. Liger and Quack double suplexed Lee on the chair, drawing the DQ. The two teams continued brawling after the match and had to be pulled apart.


Curt Hennig vs. Jim Londos - first crack at Rick Rude:
Hennig and Londos fought an even match. Hennig worked on Londos's neck and had the Golden Greek in trouble. Hennig went to the top rope but Londos threw him to the mat and took control. He locked on the Boston Crab but Hennig made it to the ropes. Londos hoisted Hennig up in the Airplane Spin and the crowd counted ten rotations aloud before Londos dumped Hennig to the mat and got a near fall. Londos slapped the Grinding Armbar on Hennig when Ted DiBiase and Rick Rude stormed the ring.

Rude & DiBiase manhandled Londos, busting him open with the Black Glove and leaving him laying after a Rude Awakening. Hennig struggled to his feet, only to ge a Rude Awakening of his own. Rude & DiBiase gloated in the ring before being escorted out by security.

Ring of Victory Grand Champion Bryan Danielson vs. Claudio Castagnoli:
Castagnoli controlled the early minutes with his superior strength. Danielson made a comeback but Castagnoli regained control after overpowering Danielson. Castagnoli scored a near fall with a kick to teh face, then hit the Ricola Bomb in the center of the ring. The ref counted

Kickout!

Frustrated, Castagnoli went to the top rope and waited. Danielson stood up and Catagnoli went for the crossbody. Danielson rolled through and scored a two count. Catagnoli got to his feet, only to have his head kicked in with a series of Yakuza kicks. Danielson scored a second near fall with a suplex before getting the submission via the Triangle Choke. Danielson retains, his first successful defense.

episode 108:
The Backseat Boys vs. Steve Corino & Adam Pearce:
The Backseat Boys fought hard but just couldn't keep any offense going. Corino & Pearce functioned like a well-oiled machine. Pearce got the win after a figure four leglock on Kashmere.

After the match, Johnny Fairplay came out and said he was replacing the Backseat Boys. Without warning, King Kong Bundy and former RoV Grand Champion The Masked Superstar came out of the crowd and attacked the Backseat Boys. Bundy hit the avalanche on Kashmere before security could storm the ring. Fairplay laughed as he was being handcuffed.

As security broke up the melee, Chuck Taylor was interviewed in the back. He said that since he beat Claudio Castagnoli two weeks ago, he deserved to be the number one contender and demanded a title shot next week!

Brent Albright vs. J.D. Michaels:
Albright started strong and gave Michaels the beating of his life, suplexing him at every opportunity. Michaels was out on his feet by the time Albright clamped on the Crowbar. The referee counted Michaels out and awarded the victory to Albright.

Mike Quackenbush (with Jushin Liger) vs. Brodie Lee (with Jimmy Jacobs):
Quackenbush had the former RoV Grand Champion defeated in record time with the Quackendriver, only to have Jacobs break up the pin. Lee took control and nearly took Quackenbush's head off with four brutal big boots. Lee appeared to have the match locked up when Jushin Liger dragged the referee out of the ring. A huge brawl errupted and Lee slammed Quackenbush into the steps for the count out victory.

Before the next match started, Tyler Black announced that he wanted Stevens in a match one day soon.

Chris Hero vs. Erick Stevens:
Stevens and Hero battled back and forth. Neither man could hold the advantage for long. Hero took a brutal beating but came back and hit the Hero's Welcome for the win.

It was announced that Mike Quackenbush and Brodie Lee were banned from ringside for the next match.

Jushin Liger vs. Jimmy Jacobs:
Liger and Jacobs tore the house down, causing the crowd to chant "Main Event!" over and over. Liger controled the match for the early minutes but Jacobs displayed remarkable toughness. Liger hoisted Jacobs in the Hanging Surfboard, wearing him down. After a near fall with the Liger Bomb, Liger went for the surfboard a second time, only to be attacked by Tyler Black! Black bought Jacobs time to recover and Jacobs went on the offensive. Jacobs hit the Contra code for a two count but Liger battled back and knocked Jacobs unconscious with the Rolling Koppo Kick for the win.

Rick Rude & Ted DiBiase vs. Jim Londos & Curt Hennig:
DiBiase started for the heel and mauled Londos, busting him open with the Loaded Glove. Londos bounced back and managed to wear down DiBiase with the headlock throw before tagging in Hennig. Hennig took the fight to DiBiase and won the match after three HennigPlexes. Rick Rude didn't bother trying to make the save.

After the match, Jim Londos challenged Rick Rude to a match next week. Rude laughed, saying he'd already beaten Londos and had nothing to prove. Londos said that whether he won or lost, next week would be his last RoV match. Rude quickly agreed, saying he couldn't wait to get Londos out of his hair and get back in the title hunt.

The show went off the air with Rude and Londos staring one another down.

episode 109:
The Backseat Boys vs. King Kong Bundy & The Masked Superstar (with Johnny Fairplay):
Kashmere started the match for the Backseat Boys and was mauled by Bundy. Bundy hit the Avalanche for a near fall and tagged in Superstar. Superstar hit a flying Bodypress for a near fall, then put Kashmere away with the Spinning Neckbreaker for the win.

Brent Albright vs. Arik Cannon:
Albright dismantled Arik Cannon. Cannon was tough but Albright was relentless. Albright scored near falls with the 6-1-Knee, the Exploder, and the Sharpshooter before getting the win with the Crowbar.

Erick Stevens vs. Ultramantis Black:
Ultramantis Black dominated the match and looked like a whole other wrestler, hitting the Praying Mantis Bomb twice. Miraculously, Stevens bounced back and scored two near falls with the Sarasota Screwdriver before putting Black away with the Doctor Bomb.

After the match, Ultramantis Black invited Stevens to join the Order of the Neo Solar Temple. Stevens refused and Black said he would live to regret it.

Mike Quackenbush vs. Jimmy Jacobs:
Quackenbush and Jacobs fought a brutal match. Jacobs scored the first near fall after spearing Quackenbush three times. Quack kicked out and made a comeback after Jacobs missed a leap from the top. Quack hit the Quackendriver for a two count. Quackenbush went to the top rope but it was Jacob's time to turn the tables. He rolled through a crossbody and locked on the End Time. Quackenbush managed to get to the ropes. Jacobs missed the railroad spike and Quackenbush whipped him into the ropes. Jacobs hit a stun gun and locked on the End Time a second time for the win.

Jim Londos vs. Rick Rude - Londos's farewell match:
Rude attacked Londos before the bell and quickly had him reeling thanks to a double sledgehammer. Londos recovered and threw Rude to the outside but Rude took control and busted Londos open. Rude hit the Rude Awakening for a near fall. Londos took a beating but managed to make a comeback with the crotch lift and slam for a near fall. Rude got to his feet and Londos hoisted him into the airplane spin. Rude was wobbly but managed to kick out. Londos hoisted Rude into the airplane spin for a second time, then locked on the Boston Crab for the win.

After the match, Jim Londos bid the RoV crowd farewell and said they'd see him in another ring soon, be it the GWF, Zenith, or the AWF. As Londos exited the ring, Rick Rude gloated, glad to be rid of him...

Until Curt Hennig entered the ring and challenged him to a Best of Seven series. The winner would get a shot at the Ring of Victory Grand Championship while the loser would have to leave RIng of Victory! Rick snatched a mic from the ringside announcer and agreed to the stipulations, saying he could kill two birds with one stone. Rude and Hennig shook on the deal and left the ring seperately.

Jushin Liger vs. Tyler Black:
Liger unloaded on Black, knocking him senseless with the Shoda. Black made a comeback and wore down Liger with his martial arts kicks and three turnbuckle powerbombs. Black went to the top and hit the Phoenix Splash but Liger kicked out. Black took the match to the floor and Liger regained control. Liger rolled Black back into the ring and hit the Fisherman Buster for a near fall. Black struggled to his feet, only to be given a Brainbuster for his troubles. Again, Black kicked out. Finally, Liger hoisted Black up and hit the Liger Bomb!

Kickout!

Liger went to the top rope but Black threw him to the mat and hit the Phoenix Splash for another near fall. Liger left the ring and Black followed after him. Liger whipped Black into the steps and rolled him back into the ring, where he clamped on the surfboard for the submission victory.

It was announced that next week's main event would pit RoV Tag Team champions Brodie Lee and Jimmy Jacobs against Thunder & Lightning in a Ladder Match for the gold!

Ring of Victory Grand Champion Bryan Danielson vs. Chuck Taylor:
Taylor attacked Danielson as he was entering the ring and hit a moonsault for a near fall. Danielson tried to mount a comeback but Taylor was unstoppable. Taylor hit the Awful Waffle for another near fall before putting Danielson away with Sole Food. Chuck Taylor is the new Ring of Victory Grand Champion!
