Claudio always does well for me so he'll probably beat Hero. Rude's got a tough way to go the next few defenses. There are unresolved issues with Jim Londos, the Danielson rematch, and the situation with Curt Hennig.
Allow me to pull back the curtain a bit here. Originally, Don Leo Jonathan was supposed to get the spot Rick Rude has now. Unfortunately, DLJ fizzled against Adam Pearce and I had to scrap some plans. All in all, I think Rick Rude was the right choice to push in the main event.

Another Excellent RoV event and it's good to see Kingston win over Michaels... Kingston's one 3 move on L2 Offense makes me really reluctant to use him but he does okay. Too bad Rude and Hennig's first match was kind of a dud.

Rude has definitely grown into his role as champion. I wasn't that impressed in his first few defenses but he's won me over.
