Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 148: The Superfriends vs. The Age of the Fall: The Superfriends functioned well but the Age of the Fall would not be denied. Black hit the Paroxym on Quackenbush for a near fall and tagged in Jacobs. Jacobs locked on the End Time for the win. Ricky Landell vs. Nigel McGuinness: Landell put up a good fight, refusing to go down, but Nigel persisted and got the win after three Jawbreaker Lariats followed by the London Dungeon. Arik Cannon vs. Crossbones: Cannon and Crossbones wrestled a back and forth match that went over fifteen minutes. Cannon was the aggressor but couldn't put Crossbones away. Cannon hit the Glimmering Warlock but Crossbones kicked out. Crossbones made a comeback and hit the Freakin' Sweet Driver but Cannon kicked out! Finally, Cannon made a comeback and hit the Brainbuster for the win. Brodie Lee vs. Eddie Kingston: Lee and Kingston lit one another up with brutal strikes. Kingston looked to have the match won after scoring near falls with the Backfist to the Future and two Yakuza kicks. Lee bounced back and hit the running power bomb for a near fall. Lee kept on the offensive and finally put Kingston away after three brutal Big Boots. After the match, Lee and Kingston shook hands and left the ring together. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Delirious: Claudio dominated Delirious, getting the win after two Ricola Bombs. Danielson & Rikidozan vs. Williams & Stevens - ROV Tag Team titles: Danielson and Rikidozan kept Williams isolated. Danielson hit the diving headbutt for a near fall, then locked on the Cattle Mutilation. Doc made it to the ropes. Danielson went to the top and scored the win with the missile dropkick. next week: - Doring & Roadkill vs. the Age of the Fall

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 149: Doring & Roadkill vs. The Age of the Fall: The Age of the Fall kept Danny Doring in their half of the ring and away from Roadkill. Black hit the Phoenix Splash on Doring and tagged in Jacobs. Jacobs locked on the End Time for the win. Ricky Landell vs. Erick Stevens: Stevens brutallized Landell with his power attack, hitting the Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Stevens got the win with the single leg lift into the lariat. Brent Albright vs. Masked Superstar II: Albright put up a good fight but was no match to the power of Masked Superstar II. II got the win with the brutal Backbreaker. Nigel McGuinness vs. Timber: Timber knocked McGuinness around the ring with his power. Nigel made a comeback and took the fight to the mat. McGuinness hit two Jawbreaker Lariats before getting the win with the London Dungeon. Claudio Castagnoli & Arik Cannon vs. Delirious & Ultramantis Black: Cannon and Ultramantis quickly took the fight outside the ring and Ultramantis smashed a chair over Cannon's head, drawing the DQ from the ref. Curt Hennig vs. Terry Gordy - Texas Death Match for the ROV Grand Championship!: Gordy and Hennig went at each other savagely. Hennig worked on Gordy's neck with the rolling neck snap and hit the HennigPlex for a near fall. The fight spilled out of the ring and Gordy took control, slamming Hennig into the ringpost. Hennig was wearing the crimson mask when Gordy rolled him back into the ring. Gordy hit the Oriental Spike for a near fall. Hennig struggled to his feet and Gordy hit the Powerbomb for the win! Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 150: The Roughnecks vs. Doring & Roadkill In their first match as a team, Eddie Kingston and Brodie Lee mauled Doring and Roadkill. Kingston hit the brutal Yakuza Kick in the corner and tagged in Lee. Lee nearly kicked Doring's head off with the Big Boot for the win. Andre the Giant vs. The Missing Link: Andre squashed the Missing Link, getting the win via the Big Splash. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Naptown Dragons London and Kendrick dominated the Naptown Dragons. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 on Lee and tagged in London. London hit the 450 Splash for the win. Antonio Inoki vs. The Sheik: The Sheik attacked Inoki before the bell with a foreign object, bloodying him. The Sheik relentlessly went after Inoki's neck, locking on the Camel Clutch four times before getting the submission victory. Nigel McGuinness vs. Tiger Mask: McGuinness and Tiger Mask had the best match of the night. Nigel kept Tiger Mask on the mat, nullifying his flying attacks. Nigel hit three Jawbreaker Lariats for near fall. Tiger Mask made a comeback but Nigel rebounded and hit a fourth Jawbreaker Lariat for the win. Bryan Danielson & Rikidozan vs. The Age of the Fall - ROV Tag Team titles: Rikidozan and Danielson kept Jacobs in their half of the ring and cut loose on him. Rikidozan scored a near fall via the Thunderous Chops and tagged in Danielson. Danielson locked on the Cattle Mutilation to retain the titles. Terry Gordy vs. Steve Williams - Ring of Victory Grand Championship: Gordy and Williams fought a grueling match that spilled all over the building. Gordy hit the Oriental Spike for a near fall. Williams made a comeback and hit the Doctor Bomb for the win! Steve Williams has defeated Terry Gordy for the ROV Grand Championship! Ring of Victory will return after a two week hiatus: - Can the Perfect Trio return to greatness?

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 151: The Superfriends vs. The Roughnecks: The Superfriend and the Roughnecks soon degenerated into an all out brawl. The four men spilled outside the ring and the referee lost control, disqualifying Chris Hero for hitting Eddie Kingston with a steel chair. Necro Butcher vs. Masked Superstar II: Masked Superstar II mauled Necro Butcher, winning with the Backbreaker. Brent Albright vs. Adam Pearce: Albright and Pearce fought a back and forth match. Albright got the win via a series of Crowbars. After the match, Adam Pearce said the two of them should team up and go after the tag team titles, since they never get any respect. Albright agreed and shook Pearce's hand. Pearce got on the mic and said Ring of Victory would soon have the Hangmen as tag team champions. Curt Hennig was interviewed. He called Terry Gordy's win over him for the Ring of Victory Grand Championship a fluke and said he'd regain the title soon. The One Man Gang came out of the crowd and confronted Hennig, demanding to know why he was replaced when he was out hurt due to Rikidozan breaking his orbital bone. Hennig said that Gang had no place in the Perfect Trio. Gang laughed and assaulted Hennig until Masked Superstar II made the save. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Age of the Fall: Kendrick and London dominated the Age of the Fall with their quick tags. London got the pinfall on Jacobs with the 450 Splash. Nigel McGuinness (with Larry Sweeney) vs. Erick Stevens: Nigel attacked Stevens like a shark, wearing him down with the Jawbreaker and the London Dungeon before getting the win with the Tower of London. After the match, Larry Sweeney demanded that Nigel get a shot at the winner of tonight's main event. Steve Williams vs. Terry Gordy - ROV Grand Championship: Gordy mauled Williams, wearing him down with the Bamm-Bamm Slam before getting the win with the big Powerbomb. Gordy regains the ROV Grand Championship from Steve Williams! next week: - The debut of The Hangmen!

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 152: The show opened with the announcement that next week's main event would feature Terry Gordy defending the ROV Grand Championnship against Claudio Castagnoli! The Hangmen vs. Doring & Roadkill: Adam Pearce started the match for his team and proceeded to get mauled by Doring & Roadkill. Pearce was in trouble after getting hit with the Danaconda when Albright broke the pin. Doring chased Albright out of the ring and got counted out after Albright gave him an exploder suplex over the guardrail and into the crowd. Nigel McGuinness vs. Crossbones: Crossbones attacked Nigel before the bell and quickly got the win with the Freakin' Sweet Driver in a shocking upset. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Necro Butcher: Castagnoli mauled Necro Butcher, getting the win with the Ricola Bomb. After the match, Claudio promised to win the ROV Grand Championship from Terry Gordy next week! Erick Stevens vs. Masked Superstar II (with Buddy Rose): Superstar locked on the backbreaker early in the match. Stevens escaped the hold and went on the rampage, scoring near falls with the Sarasota Screwdriver and four Doctor Bombs! Stevens covered Superstar and looked to have the match won but Buddy Rose interfered! Masked Superstar II regained control and got the win with the Backbreaker. Curt Hennig vs. The One Man Gang: Gang rendered Hennig a bloody mess on the outside shortly after the opening bell. Hennig recovered and threw everything he had at the gang, scoring near falls with the rolling neck snap and three HennigPlexes. OMG rebounded and took control. Gang put Hennig on the mat and went to the top for the 747. Hennig rolled out of the way and hit a fourth HennigPlex, only to have OMG kick out. Finally, Hennig managed to put OMG away with the Axe for the win. After the match, Hennig challenged the winner of next week's main event to face him for the ROV Grand Championship! Rikidozan & Bryan Danielson vs. The Mongols - ROV Tag Team titles: Danielson mauled Geeto, scoring near falls with the Yakuza Kick, the Diving Headbutt, and the Cattle Mutilation. Danielson tagged in Rikidozan and Rikidozan scored a near fall with the Hiplock. Geeto recovered and tagged in Beppo. The Mongols proceeded to destroy Rikidozan, scoring near falls with the top rope knee drop and the Mongolian Drop. Rikidozan made a comeback and scored the win with the Thunderous chops on Geeto to retain the gold. next week: - 2 rematches from this week;

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 153: The Hangmen vs. Doring & Roadkill: The Hangmen isolated Roadkill and worked him over. Albright scored a near fall with the Half-Nelson Suplex before getting the win with the 6-1-Knee. One Man Gang vs. Necro Butcher: Gang and Butcher pummelled one another with brutal strikes. Gang took the advantage and scored a near fall with the face first suplex before getting the win with the 747 Splash. Erick Stevens vs. Buddy Rose: Rose took a tremendous beating but made a comeback and got the win with the Bombs Away Kneedrop. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Superfriends: London and Quackenbush started the match for their two teams. London had the match under control until Quackenbush made a comeback and hit the QuackenDriver for a near fall. The match spilled out to the floor and Quackenbush hit a tope con hilo. Quackenbush barely made it back into the ring before the count but London was counted out. Nigel McGuinness vs. Crossbones: Crossbones dominated McGuinness for most of the match. It looked like the end was near when Crossbones climbed to the top rope, only to have McGuinness throw him to the mat and lock on the London Dungeon for the win. It was announced that on epidisode 155 from Japan, Nigel McGuinness would receive a shot at the ROV Grand Championship! Terry Gordy vs. Claudio Castagnoli - ROV Grand Championship: Castagnoli put up a good fight but was no match for Gordy's power attack.
