In the past calendar year, NERO became the all-time leader for # of days in month reigns (that is the way we track a wrestler career - any reign under a month doesn't really count for anything; once you go over a month the number of days in that reign get added to your career total).

Prior to that DREGGS had been the all-time since forever & by a wide margin. Since NERO has had more than 10 extra "game years" to get past DREGGS (he's been active for 25 game years now), I would still give the nod to DREGGS personally.

Next week’s defenses (11.15.12) will mark the end of 2128 (1st half)/beginning of 2128 (2nd half). The CPC/POW I-S & CPC/POW Cruiserweight championships will be officially de-activated – with the current title holders allowed to defend the titles until they lose them. It will also mark the retirement of the following wrestlers:

AOM hit his dazed-1 on LV3D on 8 different occasions to extend the match. He also hit REIGN OF OVERMASTER 6 times (missing one), w/ the 6th being a +5 walk-off for the W. This is the 9th Award for the AETHRAN OVERMASTER.
ALPHA FEMALE vs. SHE-DEVIL from 7.20.12 saw AF kick out of a +4 FALLEN DEVIL (pin 9) and a +5 FALLEN DEVIL (pin 11) before SHE-DEVIL missed a 3rd, allowing AF to run a combination of DIRE STRAPH and SLAVE NO MORE to finish. This is the 4th Award for SHE-DEVIL

This truly was the year of the Feud, as DRAKE & DANTE traded the CPC Crusierweight championship for 7 consecutive weeks, and DRAKE ended DANTE’S CPC Championship reign late in the year. TOI and MB&B traded the Death Masque Tag belts for 5 consecutive weeks in July and August. This is DANTE’S 1st Award, and the 2nd for DRAKE IKON. This marks the 4th Award for BUFFET and the 3rd for VAIN.

It was a rough 6 months - well 3 months really. Things were pretty even for the first half of the first half of 2128, ironically, untill I started putting the results online. That was part of the reason I went ahead & put the 2127 winners up there, just to show that it isn't always like this.

Things used to be much worse: Josh currently has 61% of the Awards all-time; @ the end of 2104 he had 73%.

Full credit must go to JOSH for the following rule changes to the GWF division for the 2nd half of 2128 (all other divisions will not be affected):

1. The possibility of losing Black Death powers is reinstated. When we received 2128, Josh and I agreed that we would keep our rosters at full strength at all times since we each had part of the Black Death team. This has resulted in unintended consequences, such as ORACLE running amok.

2. There will be no outside interference. Managers/Valets (anyone w/ a Distractor Rating) will still be allowed at ringside, since they can only extend the match, they cannot reverse offense.

I’ve used this thread a couple of times to vent my frustrations over the direction the game was heading, so please allow me to use to also publicly say what has been said in private: thank you sincerely to Josh for suggesting that we actually make the changes that I have been screaming about for years. I am a “purist” (for lack of a better term); if it were up to me I would contest all matches w/ no outside help, just my guy (team) vs. your guy (team). The game, however, has moved in a very different direction over the past 15-20 years and my stubbornness has cost me dearly. I again wish to express my gratitude to Josh for this experiment, even if it only lasts these 6 months, and even if I continue to get my ass handed to me. I cannot tell you how much better I feel about playing going into this week than I did going into last week.
