Just curious how you guys use the Feud Table. Do you use it like the handbook says, after a roll of doubles ends a match or do you have another method of deciding when to roll on it?
I've tried different things in the past. Feud matches that ended in doubles, I'd use it. Non-feud matches that ended in doubles I would roll again. If it were another roll of doubles I'd use it. But to me it seemed there were way too many attacks and injuries.
So then I made a chart I would roll on after a match that would help me decide whether to use the Feud table or not. I think it's actually in the Fan-Made Rules section, but it was a little too "busy" so I abandoned it.
Lately I've contemplated not even using the Feud Table at all and just decide on my own what happens after a match, if anything. The problem is, I'm absolutely terrible at making decisions, and am a sucker for charts and randomness. So when do you use the Feud Table?

I agree....I always found it best to use it.......when I thought a match or rivalry waranted something more happening.......or whenever it felt like it should happen.......sort of controlled randomness.......
this kept injuries low,......but created great feuds like STEELE-ZYBSKO which involved an awesome sequence of two missing turnbuckle pads...

I basically decide whether to use it after a roll of doubles ends a match. Any match. I don't necessarily only use it when there is an existing feud. Sometimes it is a great way to start a feud. Sometimes I will decide not to use it though. If there are two guys wrestling who I felt wouldn't attack each other then I will decide not to use it.

This is what I've always done when I rolled doubles after or even before a match. If after a match and it's like a first time meeting between none rivals, I make note of it as "heat", meaning that it now has become a rivalry between the two.
After that, another match is scheduled at a later date, and if there's doubles BEFORE a match, it's a special challenge made by one of the two, like a Hardcore match or cage match or whatever other specialty match you want to see. If there's doubles AFTER the match, I'll attempt to roll on the Feud Chart and see what the result is.
Depending on what it is, I'll determine if the roll really matches how I see the ending to be? Sometimes the roll doesn't really make sense, so then I'll just make up something that does make sense for that given point! Does that make sense?

The reason I leave it a little more open is because I figure there are alot of guys that would attack their rival before or after a match even if they weren't in a current feud with them.

This is one chart i do not use. I have my own injury chart that is based off of tokens generated during a match. I don't have designated feuds, when i have 2 guys that seem to click, they feud.
