With the loss of the online rankings, I was curious if anyone has a spreadsheet set up for wins/losses, rankings, etc. I'm not very "Excel savvy" and rather than reinvent the wheel, I thought I'd see if someone else already has a wheel I could copy.
thanks,

Thanks, I actually think I'll use the other file "ELO Calc" that gives ratings for wrestlers and maybe use that to determine rankings.
Still wish there was a spreadsheet that could list wins/losses/%, etc.

This may now be a moot point, but just FYi on the "ELO calc": I set that up for easy use of ELO.. you really would need a win loss page to go with it. ELO is the rating system most online games use (like yahoo and pogo)... I've toyed with it a few times and mostly found it's a little much for wrestling. If you like stats though, it can be fun. The one we use for the LWA is in the same group, "LWA Master" the 'singles records page is the one you'd want. If you want an explanation of the rating we use there now: You get 2 points for a clean win, 1 point for a DQ win, with bonuses for title wins(1 for a local title, 5 for the world title), and wins against people from other territories... there a few other incidentals, but that's the main gist. the 'Rating" is simply points/matches, with a minimum # of matches set so tag team guys don't always end up at the time, the "Cumulative Score" is the average of the last three months and the guys career rating. feel free to swipe it if it's of use

Or this could all be rendered moot because the stats are going nowhere after all. Either way.

Yeah, I love that the rankings are back, but it's nice to have a contingency plan and maybe there's something there that can supplement the rankings?
