Monolith has finally lost the GWF tiltle. A 30 win streak with no loss by pin, submission, count out, or DQ!!! Kill Prey was the 1st to beat the, well Monolith of wrestling. Kill Prey survived 2 THE END OF ALL THINGS, one with the help from his sis Shann-Ra. Kill Prey hit many AMBUSHES during the match, but as soon as he hit the all to famous (+5) it was over, and even the Dark Menace's help did nothing!!
I've never had anyone this dominant so I figured I'd share it with y'all. The only thing that was ever close was The Mercenaries holding onto the belts for 2 and 1/2 years, but they lost a lot of non title matches.
So, the whole point who was your best champ ever!!!!

Spike (the original) dominated the title with an insane record. It's been about 20 years, so I don't remember the exact figure, and the books are long gone, but he defended about 2-4 times a month for the better parts of nine months. So his record would've been pretty similar to Monolith's amazing feat. Of course, the competition wasn't nearly as stiff then as it is now. Strangely, his supposedly upgraded card was never able to come close to the success of the original.
Most dominant tag champs were the unlikely championship team of The Pillars Of Power. I don't know how they kept doing it, but they had a lock on the belts for about a year. Like with your Mercenaries, several dq losses and draws, but impressive anyway.

Spike was dominant for me as well, but he never, and I mean EVER put in a string like Monolith dis for me.
Pillars is strange but I can see it happening. They always put on good matches, but never really won the big one for me.

Chaos was my GWF's Bruno Sammartino; his three reigns took up nearly a decade of my storylines. At one point, he succesfully defended the title against EVERYBODY on the singles roster.
The Mercenaries are the best tag champs ever, holding those belts for an uniterrupted three-year reign before dropping them to the Demons of Hydra in a screwjob angle.

I've only played 2074-2078...but Omega held the Galaxian Title for exactly one year while Rock Solid did the same with the Tag Team Titles. I'd love to see someone have a multi-year reign at some point.

Omega dominated the EC era in my fed. I'm back up to 2093 and his title reign was the longest to date, by both defenses and days as champion. However, since Darth mentioned it, in my current fed, Monolith has been the man. He had a 19 defense reign last year, lost to Paraylze of all people, and quickly regained it. But just today at a PPV, Swarm realized his boyhood dream and won that belt with the GTS ... er, Venomous Stinger. So maybe a new era is beginning, but I suspect Monolith will be back soon enough. Truly the best of the current stars, IMO.

Chaos and Bishop Hell were two of my greatest champs ever, with tons of title reigns between them....Out of the new bunch Disaster (NB) card had a stellar run with the title that was one of my longest ever!

Singles I have Spike with a 25 card reign and Pegasus just ended a 20 card reign. Tag-Teams nobody touches the original Brute and Massacre (Tag-Team of the year 7 times, Tournament winner 8 times*). Thunder and Overkill are coming close, but they're about to get broken up in the next year or 2 so they won't be able to match the original headbangers!
*I hold a tournament and a tag tourney at the beginning of every game year to incorporate the new faces. This tournament includes EVERYONE and winning it gives a huge lead in the rankings to start off the new year.

Just because I'm wondering; is this like a KOTR tourney for the #1 contenders or is it for the titles? Rahl
