Bootleggers Blowout! Card # 5 7-30-2087 The War College, AtheraALL MATCHES IN THE BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT ARE NO DISQUALIFICATION… FIRST ROUND: BRACKET # 5 OF 8 Eric The Viking (UWA) vs Twysted (ICOF)Eric was a bigger, stronger. More imposing wrestler and Twysted is primarily a tag team wrestler. But you wouldn’t have known any of that by watching this match. Twysted stayed out of his reach and targeted The Vikings knees and back, and made very effective use of the ropes and turnbuckles. Finally, Twysted hit the TATTOO DRIVER and scored the pin. Twysted wins by pinfall 8:45. He advanes to the second round where he will face the winner of The Yeti vs Rage. The Yeti (UWA) vs Rage (EGW)Rage lives up to his name. The Yeti was nearly a foot taller and 70 pounds heavier, but rage took it to him, beating him from ring post to ring post and making a throw rug of him in the center of the ring for the 1-2-3! Rage wins by pinfall at 5:32. He advances to the second round where he will face Twysted! Bret Hart (GCW) vs The Crow (UWA)The Crow completely dismantled The Hitman. Hart threw everything he had at the Crow, but not even that legendary Hart wrestling could save him from The Crow, whp finished the match off with a spectacular DEATHSAULT and scored the pin. The Crow wins by pinfall at 3:39. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Lightning and CM Punk. Lighting (AGL) vs CM Punk (GCW)From the opening bell lightning took it to CM Punk, Every which way Punk turned, there was lightning, beating him to the punch. The Crowd inside the War College was deafening. Then Lightning began with a series of LIGHTNING BOLT pin attempts, and each time CM Punk kicked out. By the fifth LIGHTNING BOLT pin attempt and kickout the crowd was near riot level. Put Lightning stayed on the offense. Until Punk managed to sneak a reverse, hit two pepsi twist moves followed by a perfect PEPSI PLUNGE. When the referees hand struck three, a riot DID break out inside the War College. The Ring, M Punk, the referee and announcers tables had to be protected with a forcefield bubble and the dreaded ATHERAN GUARD called in to restore order. Half a dozen were killed and another two dozen injured in the ensueing melee. Once order was restored, the show continued… CM Punk advances to the second round where he will face The Crow! Ramses (GCW) vs Dynamic Dynamite (UWA)A see-saw battle between two evenly matched opponents. They traded high impact power moves such as piledrivers and neckbreakers, and both utilized the ropes well. Both are utilize submission finishers, and although Rasmses escaped the DYNAMIC PAIN once, he couldn’t escape it he second time and Dynamic Dynamite takes the mtch. Dynamic Dynamite Wins by submission at 13:13. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Krule vs X-Pac. Krule (AGL) vs X-Pac (GCW)The ATHERAN GUARD were deployed throughout the arena prior to this match. Krule stood 6’4” and weighed 305 lbs. X-Pac 6’ even and a cool 212 lbs. Krule used his size and power to toss X-Pac around like a rag doll. Outside the ring he put him through the Cetan announcers table and smashed a chair over his head, busting X-Pac open. Back in the ring it was more of the same. Krule lived up to his name, punishing X-Pac for the pleasure of the bloodthirsty crowd! Then, while Krule was basking in the glory, X-Pac caught him with a desperation spinning heel kick that dropped the galdiator and left him momentarily stunned….And X-Pac scored the pin! The forcefield immediately covered the ring and the patricipants as outright war broke out in the stands. Spectator vs ATHERAN GUARD, spectator vs spectator, ATHERAN GUARD VS ATHERAN GUARD! A neural disruptor pulse had to be used to render everyone insode the arena unconcious. Everyone was evacuated, and the final two matches of the evening would be fought in an empty arena… X-Pac wins by pinfall at 9:05. He advances to the second round where he will face Dynamic Dynamite! Decimator (AGL) vs Morbid (GCW)Morbid opened the match with a brutal display of MMA style fighting and he quickly had Decimator on the ropes. Indeed, it looked as if he would make quick work of the final gladiator in bracket # 5. But Decimator is a Gladiator of Athera, and when he finally got on offense, he didn’t let up. He took Morbid outside the ring and beat him bloody with a chair, tossed him back in and finished it off with THE DECIMATOR. Perhaps one of the biggest tragedies of this match is that Decimator, the final gladiator in bracket # 5, won his match in an empty arena… Decimator wins the match by pinfall at 7:32. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Steve Austin vs Vader. Steve Austin (GCW) vs Vader (EGW)Steve Austin came into the match offended that Vader had chosen that name. He wasn’t the Vader that Stone Cold had battled in the late 20’th century, but some upstart, trying to capitalize on that legendary name. Stone Cold opened up a can of whoop ass right from the start, never letting his opponent get his rhythm. It took a couple minutes to set up the STONE COLD STUNNER and that was the bottom line. Steve Austin wins the match by pinfall at 3:24. He advances to the second round where he will face Decimator! ANALYSIS Bracket # 5 of 8 in the first round of the BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT is complete. The major standouts in this bracket were Stone Cold, Rage, and most impressively, The Crow. The other major event of this show was the Atheran crowd in attendance at the War College. When the nights casualties were fiNAlly tallied, the results were 335 dead, 1500 injured, many of them seriously. That sets the stage for tomorrow nights event, Bracket # 6 of 8, here at the War College. Five Gladiators are scheduled to wrestle. How will the crowd react? Will there even be a crowd? Bootleggers Blowout! Card # 6 7-31-2087 The War College, AtheraALL MATCHES IN THE BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT ARE NO DISQUALIFICATION…
FIRST ROUND: BRACKET # 6 OF 8 After an all-night meeting of the ATHERAN COUNCIL it was determined that the gates to The War College would be open, allowing fans to pack into the arena. But the Council also issued a very strict warning: ANYONE engaged in any brawling inside the arena tonight would be taken prisoner and required to serve a 5 year sentence as a pit slave in the Atheran Gladiator Games… Fracture (AGL) vs Surac (UWA)Surac came into the tournament boasting of his superior intelligence and in ring psychology and strategy, ot to mention his inescapable nerve pinch submission hold. Fracture, a schizophrenic gladiator with 3 distinct personality/fighting styles would have none of it and spent the next 8:43 seconds dismantling Surac’s superior intillegence, in ring psychology etc… In the end, Surac was bloody and pleading for mercy. Instead Fracture delighted the bloodthirsty crowd with more violence, forcing Surac to beg the referee to save him. In the crowded War College Arena, last nights bloodshed and vows of vengence was forgotten, replaced by the unity of being Atheran. Of being Gladiator! Fracture wins by submission at 8:43. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Bulldog vs Strider of Fortune. Bulldog (EGW) vs Strider of Fortune (UWA)Bulldog was all bark and no bite as Strider of Fortune quickly had him tucking tail and exposing his throat. Strider of Fortune wins by pinfall 1:10. He advances to the second round where he will face Fracture! Sorrow (AGL) vs Thor (UWA)WHAT A MATCH! Sorrow stands 6’5” and weighs 293 lbs. Thor 6’6” and 320 lbs. They were each others equal in power and agility (amazingly good for such big men) and they traded move for move. Sorrow got a near pinfall when he hit the SORROWS EYE but Thor managed to kickout and apply the WAY TO WALHALLA submission hold. In true Atheran fashion, Sorrow lapsed into unconciousness before he would tap oot, but the final ruling was all the same. Amazingly, the crowd stayed composed. There were shouts of hatred and threats of violence, but Thor had fought the type of fight that Atherans could at least grudgingly respect. Thor winds by submision at 11:44. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Scampi Joe vs Shawn Michaels. Scampi Joe (ICOF) vs Shawn Michaels (GCW) Back in Shawn Michaels heyday, in the late 20’th century, wrestling a humanoid lobsterman would have been rock bottom and perhaps the end of a wrestlers career, but in 2087 and the popularity of animen and other alien wrestlers, it was a main event match. Michaels relished it for all it could be. A few minutes and some SWEET CHIN MUSIC later, Shawn Micahels had himself a nice shrimp cocktail. Shawn Michaels wins by pinfall at 3:54. He advances to the second round where he will face Thor! The Mummy (UWA) vs Sledge Hammer (AGL)Becuse they were on Aethra, and what had transpired the night before, and because of the ultimatum issued to all in attendance, you just knew it was going to happen. A heavily favored gladiator getting taken to the mat by a weaker, smaller opponent. An upset so shocking that some in the crowd would be unable to contain themselves and break out into rioting. And that is exactly what happened when The Mummy whipped Slegde Hammer from ring post to ring post, beating him bloody and senseless and scored the pin. Nearly 1000 rioters were rounded up and sent to orientation camps where they would begin their 5 year sentence as pit slaves in the Aetheran gladiator games… The Mummy wins by pinfall at 5:43. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Ground Zero and Sage. Ground Zero (AGL) vs Sage (EGW)Ground Zero started strong, weakening Sage with a series of brutal piledrivers, neckbreakers and face claws. Sage finally managed to put together an offensive series that saw him try two pin attempts. But Ground Zero was a special breed…a non-Aethran (Cygnan) who had not only survived several years in the fighting pits, but had become a crowd favorite, had won his freedom and earned his face paint. He pulled himself together and unleased a brutal offensive that left Sage bloodied and unconcious in the center of the ring. Ground Zero wins by pinfall at 7:12. He advances to the second round where he will face the Mummy! Kung-Fu (UWA) vs Entropy (UWA)Entropy made his way to the ring with a pyrotechnic display, loud music, strut and swagger. Then proceeded to get the stuffing knocked out of him in 2 minutes flat. Kung-Fu wins by pinfall at 2:00. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Vindocator vs Spectrum. Vindicator (AGL) vs Spectrum (UWA)Vindicator, a powerful, hulding alien from the planet Ara, he came to Aethra to compete in the gladiator games and never left. Spectrum, an exciting luchadore from Mexico. Their styles couldn’t have been more different. In the end, it was Spectrum and his rapid fire attacks that were able to keep Vindicator off balance and wear him down enough to lock in the SPECTRUM SLEEPER and get the win. Spectrum wins by submission at 8:45. He advances to the second round where he will face fellow UWA star Kung-Fu! Analysis This bracket was all about two wrestlers; Fracture and Ground Zero. One Aethran, born and bred, the other an alien slave who battled his way into the hearts and minds of the Aethran people. Both Gladiators! Up next, bracket # 7 of 8
Papa Rasta (ICOF) vs Jesse James (GCW)
Charger (EGW) vs Slash (AGL)
Dread (EGW) vs Babylon (ICOF)
Kurt Angle (GCW) vs Wolverine (UWA)
Ultimate Warlord (EGW) vs JB Payne (GCW)
Velocity (AGL) vs Black Panther (UWA)
Spider Boy (UWA) vs Sabotage (AGL)
Revile (AGL) vs Angelheart (ICOF)

Bootleggers Blowout! Card # 7 8-1-2087 The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NevadaALL MATCHES IN THE BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT ARE NO DISQUALIFICATION… FIRST ROUND: BRACKET # 7 OF 8 Papa Rasta (ICOF) vs Jesse James (GCW)Jesse James had all of his “Road Dogg” swagger, but he left his game backstage. Papa Rasta overpowered him, weakened him with a high impact offense and slapped him in the Rastafarian Rack. The “Dogg” was soon howling for mercy. Papa Rasta wins by submission at 3:21. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Charger vs Slash. Charger (EGW) vs Slash (AGL)A very exciting match! Slash got the upper hand early but charger turned it around and before long they were trading moves, back and forth. But the gladiator wrestling style is one of brutal attrition. And before long Charger was bleeding profusely and fatiguing quickly. Slash caught him in the center of the ring with a vicious HACK AND SLASH and the pinfall was a formality. Slash wins by pinfall at 9:09. He advances to the second round where he will face Papa Rasta! Dread (EGW) vs Babylon (ICOF)There was very little to this match. Babylon took immediate control, used his superior strength and size to power Dread to the mat and scored the pin. Babylon wins by pinfall at 1:11. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Kurt Angle vs Wolverine. Kurt Angle (GCW) vs Wolverine (UWA)It was obvious that Kurt Angle was embarrased and offended by his first round opponent, and he spent as little time as possible gracing the costumed fool with his presence. A quick ANGLE LOCK and it was over. Kurt Angle wins by submission at :48! He advances to the second round where he will face Babylon! Ultimate Warlord (EGW) vs JB Payne (GCW)Despite being nearly physically equal, it ws apparent from the onset that The Ultimate Warlord was the superior wrestler. He had his way with JB Payne, breaking his will with a series of spinebusters and easily setting him up for the ULTIMATE CLOTHESLINE and a quick pin. Ultimate Warlord wins by pinfall at 3:53. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Velocity vs Black Panther. Velocity (AGL) vs Black Panther (UWA)Velocity is one of the quickest and agile wrestlers in the territories. The Black Panther arguably the most savage. It was that savagery that allowed the Panther to claw the gladitor bloody, beat him senseless and lock in the PANTHER’S CLAW. Velocity kept his pride though, as he passed out from the pain rather than wilfully tapout. Black Panther wins by submission. He advances to the second round where he will face Ultimate Warlord! Spider Boy (UWA) vs Sabotage (AGL)This was a match right out of the comic books. Both men are wild hi-flyers who play to the crowd as much as battle one another. But as the match wore on, Sabotages Aethran fierceness began to take its toll on Spider Boy. He was slowly ground down until his hi-flying offense was grounded. But Sabotage could not put him away. Again and again he tried, but again and again Spider Boy would save himself. Until, out of nowhere, Spider Boy managed to roll a frustrated Sabotage up into the SPIDER TRAP and get the pin. Spider Boy wins by pinfall at 13:43. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Revile vs Angelheart. Revile (AGL) vs Angelheart (ICOF)Revile was an Aethran pit slave who won his freedom, but was driven insane in the process. He is a wild eyed mad man whose main offense is using a steel chair. He did manage to bust Angelheart open, but before long Angelhearts superior skill and power took control. He locked Revile into a wrenching abdominal stretch and held it tight until the madman passed out. Angelheart wins by submission at 4:07. He advances to the second round where he will face Spider Boy! Analysis That wraps up bracket # 7 of 8 in the first round of the BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT! There were several standout wrestlers in this bracket; Papa Rasta, Slash, babylon, Kurt Angle, Ultimate warlord and Black Panther. All of them won in impressive fashion and generated quite a bit of buzz for themselves going into the second round. Up next, bracket # 8 of 8 in the first round of the BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT!The Ram (ICOF) vs Zenith (ICOF)
Balder (UWA) vs Cataclysm (AGL)
Nova (UWA) vs Tiger Blanco (ICOF)
Goliath (GCW) vs Sid Vicious (GCW)
Akuma the Ninja (GCW) vs Kudo (ICOF)
Ray Stryker (GCW) vs Scot Miles (UWA)
Apocalypse (UWA) vs AAA (EGW)
The Ninja (UWA) vs Doberman (EGW)AND THEN ON TO ROUND TWO!!!

Bootleggers Blowout! Card # 8 8-1-2087 The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NevadaALL MATCHES IN THE BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT ARE NO DISQUALIFICATION… FIRST ROUND: BRACKET # 8 OF 8 The Ram (ICOF) vs Zenith (ICOF)These two have battled each other numerous times on the ICOF circuit and knew each others moves well. But the Ram was simply able to absorb more punishment than his opponent and used his strength and animan tenacity to persevere. The Ram wins by pinfall at 5:27. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Balder vs Cataclysm. Balder (UWA) vs Cataclysm (AGL)That was an awesome match between two powerful heavyweights! Back and forth it went, with Balder slowly gaining an edge. By the ten minute mark, balder clearly was dominating, having attempted to pin Cataclysm 5 different times. But the gladiator wouldn’t give up. He put on one last series of desperation offense before Balder finally caught him with the VALHALLA BOMB and took the match. Balder's victory gave the UWA a clean sweep over the AGL in the first round, 6 - 0. Balder wind by pinfall at 17:41. He advances to the second round where he will face The Ram! Nova (UWA) vs Tiger Blanco (ICOF)Both of these men are high flying daredevils. Nova is simply more lethal. He made quick work of the masked luchadore with a NOVA LAUNCHER pinfall. Nova wins by pinfall at 2:34. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Goliath vs Sid Vicious. Goliath (GCW) vs Sid Vicious (GCW)Standing 7’7” tall and weighing in at 398 pounds, Goliath actually made Sid Vicious look small. Nothing side tried was effective, and Goliath calmly stalked him down and crushed him. Goliath wins by pinfall at 2:21. He advances to the second round where he will face Nova! Akuma the Ninja (GCW) vs Kudo (ICOF)A showdown between two matrial arts masters. But Akumas speed and agility was superior, and he hit Kudo with the NINJA AMBUSH and scored an easy pin. Akuma the Ninja wins by pinfall at 5:24. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of Ray Stryker vs Scot Miles. Ray Stryker (GCW) vs Scot Miles (UWA)Scot Miles is a gian of a man, nearly the size of Goliath. He simply grabbed Ray Stryker in a grinding bearhug and Stryker submitted almost instantly. Scot Miles wins by submission at :19! He advances to the second round where he will face Akuma the Ninja! Apocalypse (UWA) vs AAA (EGW)AAA (Awesome Andrew Alan) made Apocalyse look the comic book fool that he appeared to be, running circles around him and basically getting in a good workout before finishing up the match as his leisure with a AAA SUPERKICK. AAA wins the match by pinfall at 6:46. He advances to the second round where he will face the winner of The Ninja vs Doberman. The Ninja (UWA) vs Doberman (EGW)Watch out for the NINJA! Doberman whipped the Ninja into the ropes but the deadly martial artist lunged back with a DEATH POINT STRIKE. Doberman dropped to the match, unconcious. The pinfall was a formality. The Ninja wins the match by pinfall at :30. He advances to the second round where he will face AAA! Analysis The 8’th and final bracket of the first round is complete! Ive been working on round two a bit this weekend, but things are still hectic from the holidays. Im hoping to have the first set of matches posted by tomorrow. Until then… Here are the final win - loss numbers for the first round as well as some analysis. All % are rounded to the nearest whole number. AETHRAN GLADIATOR LEAGUE (AGL) : The AGL fielded 24 wrestlers in the tournament. RECORD : 11 - 13 (46 %) vs ICOF : 2 - 2 vs GCW : 5 - 5 vs EGW : 3 - 0 vs UWA : 1 - 6 vs AGL : 0 - 0 INTERGALACTIC CARNIVAL OF FREAKS (ICOF) : The ICOF fielded 32 wrestlers in the tournament. RECORD : 14 -18 (44%) vs GCW : 4 - 6 vs EGW : 1 - 3 vs UWA : 3 - 3 vs AGL : 2- 2 vs ICOF : 4 - 4 GALACTIC CLONE WRESTLING (GCW) : The GCW fielded 34 wrestlers in the tournament. RECORD : 17 - 17 (50%) vs ICOF : 6 - 4 vs EGW : 1 - 1 vs UWA : 1 - 3 vs AGL : 5 - 5 vs GCW : 4 - 4EXTEME GALACTIC WRESTLING (EGW) : The EGW fielded 14 wrestlers in the tournament. RECORD : 6 - 8 (43%) vs ICOF : 3 - 1 vs GCW : 1 - 1 vs UWA : 2 - 3 vs AGL : 0 - 3 vs EGW : 0 - 0 UNIVERSAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE (UWA) : The UWA fielded 24 wrestlers in the tournament. RECORD : 16 - 8 (67%) vs ICOF : 3 - 3 vs GCW : 3 - 1 vs EGW : 3 - 2 vs AGL : 6 - 1 vs UWA : 1 - 1 I absolutely LOVE the tournament format. It allows the wrestlers to shine individually, plus it also weaves together several stories and subplots as it progresses. One look at the inter-territory standings shows intense rivalries already brewing between the various promotions. The AGL went 1 - 6 against the UWA. Imagine how the proud Aetherans feel about losing that badly to a bunch of comic book knock offs? Indeed, with the exception of the ICOF who went 3 - 3 with the UWA, every other territory came out on the losing end against what had been considered a throwaway league not to be taken seriously. The AGL, the GCW and the EGW are all eager to regain their honor. Despite 14 of their wrestlers advancing to the second round, ICOF did not win a a series against a single territory. They tied the AGL and the UWA but lost decisevely to the GCW and the EGW. 128 wrestlers from all five territories entered the BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT, each with visions of GWF stardom in their eyes. Going into the second round, only 64 of them remain. The EGW has only 6 wrestlers advancing. That is almost half the next lowest promotion, the AGL, which has 11. The ICOF fields 14, the UWA 16 and the GCW 17.

Bootleggers Blowout! Card # 9 8-2-2087 Disneytopia Themeplanet, Tau Ceti SectorALL MATCHES IN THE BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT ARE NO DISQUALIFICATION… ROUND TWO: BRACKET # 1 OF 4 Krokus (AGL) vs Morgoloth (ICOF)Morgoloth dismantled Krokus in under 4 minutes. Krokus didn’t get a single offensive move in. To his credit, it took 5 tokens to finally pin the gladiator, but the end result was still the same. Morgoloth, the two-headed behemoth, wins by pinfall at 3:32. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of Gallos vs Captain America. Gallos (ICOF) vs Captain America (UWA)This was a gruelling, vicious match. Gallos, a deadly martial artist, quickly took to the offense, testing Cap’s ability to withstand punishment and turn the tide. Cap has an amazing defense, and a wild offense that makes heavy use of the charts. And thats what he did with Gallos. Over and over he would toss him out of the ring, exploiting Gallos weakness (Ring: C). It was only a matter of time before Cap hit the FREEDOM FORCE, one of the deadliest finishers in the territories, and the match was over. Captain America wins by pinfall at 10:10. He advances to the third round where he will face the two-headed behemoth Morgoloth! Hack (AGL) vs Hammerjack (ICOF)These were two evenly matched powerhouses who traded moves back and forth, brawling as much as wrestling. But bel;ieve it or not, Hammerjack was actually meaner than his gladiator opponent, and meanness won out. Hammerjack locked in THE CRUSH. Hack could not escape, but keeping his Gladiator pride and facepaint intact, he refused to tapout and instead went unconcious from the pain, forcing the referee to call the match. Hack is the second Gladiator in a row to fall in round two. The Galactic Wire reports that with Gladiators Steel and Devium set to wrestle each other tonight, the AETHERAN COUNCIL has taken drastic steps to prevent global anarchy and ordered a planetwide lockdown until morning. Hammerjack wins by submission at 8:53. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of The Undertaker vs Gable! The Undertaker (GCW) vs Gable (GCW)Gable was on the run from the opening bell. Anything he tried the Undertaker either countered or simply absorbed and powered back. His on;py real hope to defeat the deadman was his infamous GABLE GRIP, unfortunately for him he never had a chance to use it. The TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER finished the match. The Undertaker wins by pinfall at 5:10. He advances to the third round where he will face Hammerjack! The Godfather (GCW) vs The Rock (GCW)The Godfather has talent, but the rock IS THE ROCK. This match was expected to be such a foregone conclusion that many in the audience used this match for a refreshment and bathroom break. Boy, did they miss a match. The Godfather showed surprising timing and tenacity, taking everything the rock could throw at him and managing to put together small offensive strings of his own. The, out of nowhere, as The Rock was distracted popping the crowd, The Godfather hit the PIMP DROP, silencing the crowd while the refree counted the 1 - 2- 3. The Godfather wins by pinfall at 7:57. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of Steel vs Devium. Steel (AGL) vs Devium (AGL)GLADIATOR VS GLADIATOR! The first such match in the tournamenbt. It was wild! It was bloody! Ity was extremely violent! Everything you would expect! For 18 minutes these two delighted the crowd with the kind of violent spectacle that only a Glagiator of Aethra can deliver. And in the end, Devium got the win. Devium wins by pinfall at 17:47. He advances to the thiurd round where he will face The Godfather! Major Muscle (EGW) vs Thirteen (ICOF)Major Muscle had a squash opponent in Saki Liger in the first round, and perhaps he considered the insane Thirteen another such opponent. But nothing could have been further from the truth. Thirteen unloaded on Major Muscle, biting his face, smashing him with a chair and discombobulating him with some incoherent babbling! Major Muscle didn’t knoe up from down when Thitreen covered him for the win. Thirteen wins by pinfall at 3:13. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of Kane vs Brother Hood. Kane (GCW) vs Brother Hood (ICOF)Both men use their power and high impact moves to wear their opponent down. Against each other, it was like two massive storm fronts colliding, full of thunder and lightning. Kane kicked out after Brother Hood nailed a GHETTO BUSTER and nailed his own TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. Miracously, Brother Hood kicked out, and the two resumed their battle. Finally, Kane nailed Hood with a boot to the face which set up a second TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. There was no kicking out after that one. Kane wins the match by pinfall at 17:10. He advances to the third round where he will face Thirteen! ANALYSIS WOW! What an opening set of matches to kick of the second round. As we get deeper into the tournament, the subplots and personal dramas unfold! Morgoloth, the famed, two-headed interdimensional warrior, has absolutely decimated his first two opponents to reach the third round. Will he continue his path of destruction to the Sweet Sixteen? Captain America. Former Protege of Commander Sams. His falling out with his mentor left him relegated to the fringe promotions of the galaxy, masquerading as a super hero from the 20’th century. But the tournament has allowed his toughness, tenacity, ring skills and athletic abilities to shine, making him one of the early fan favorites of the tournament. Bootleggers Blowout! Card # 10 8-2-2087 Disneytopia Themeplanet, Tau Ceti Sector
ALL MATCHES IN THE BOOTLEGGERS BLOWOUT ARE NO DISQUALIFICATION… ROUND TWO: BRACKET # 2 OF 4 Super Tendron (ICOF) vs Pharoah (GCW)Super Tendron is a hardened intergalactic criminal. (I downloaded and printed this bootleg before I bought the actual Tendron the Destroyer card) He used his prison thug tactics and whipped Phaorah, start to finish, and the 4’th THE SMOTHERING was all he could take before tapping. Super Tendron wins the match by submission at 6:12. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of Storm vs Metadillo. Storm (AGL) vs Metadillo (ICOF)That one was downright barbaric! Metadillo is a former Aethran pit slave, competing in their gladiator games for several years before he escaped, along with his partner, The Bionic Hedgehog. These two animen take special delight in carving up Aetherans in general in Gladiators in particular. And carve Storm up is exactly what Metadillo did. To Storms credit, a lesser warrior would have submitted or outrfight collapsed from blood loss after the first half dozen lacerations. But Storm is a Gladiator of Aethra, War College trained. He can bleed out with the best of them. Metadillo wins by pinfall at 14:14. He advances to the third round where he will face Super Tendron! Tyranus Wrex (EGW) vs Bionic Hedgehog (ICOF)Another wild, bloody brawl. Like his tag team partner Metadillo, Bionic Hedgehog is vicious and blood thirsty. Tyranus Wrex is even more so. In the end, the sheer ruthlessness of the Hedgehog, learned from his years fighting in the Aethran pits, was more than the exiled prince from Saurian Prime could withstand. Bionic Hedgehog wins by pinfall at 17:10. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of Derrick Dynamite and Bloodmonger. Derrick Dynamite (UWA) vs Bloodmonger (AGL)Bloodmonger is a monster! He absolutely decimated Derrick Dynamite! He could have ended the match after the first AETHRAN BOMB, but chose instead to inflict more pain on his opponent. Derrick Dynamite should have stayed down after the second AETHRAN BOMB but his feeble kick out attempt amused Bloodmonger is a cruel and violent way. Finally, after the third AETHRAN BOMB, they both knew that the math was finished. Bloodmonger wins by pinfall at 4:32. He advances to the third round where he will face The Bionic Hedgehog! A classic blood feud continues! Jeff Hardy (GCW) vs DC Watson (EGW)Jeff Hardy’s first offensive move was a suicide plancha which he nailed perfectly and scored the pin! With DC Watsons elimination only 4 EGW wrestlers remain in the tournament. Jeff Hardy wins by pinfall at :33. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of The Dominator vs Owen Hart. The Dominator (ICOF) vs Owen Hart (GCW)A hard fought, back and forth match between two submission masters. Owen Hart employing his legendary technical skill and training while The Dominator attacked with throat slams, DDT’s and powerbombs…Both looking for their chance to apply their signature submission. And it was The Dominator who saw his opening first, locking in the PAINFUL DOMINATION and forcing a quick submission by Hart. The Dominator wins by submission at 14:11. He advances to the third round where he will face Jeff Hardy. HHH (GCW) vs D-Von Dudley (GCW)HHH seemed out of sync and off rhythm, and that allowed D-Von to capitalize and take the fight to HHH his way, down and dirty. The match was in and out of the ring, and both men went through announcers tables. Back in the ring, D-von caught HHH with a kick to the groin, which set up a PILEDRIVER. D-Von scored the pin in a shocking upset! D-Von wins by pinfall at 9:32. He advances to the third round where he will face the winner of Carnage vs Chris Jericho. Carnage (AGL) vs Chris Jericho (GCW)Carnage was 7 inches taller and 90lbs heavier than Jericho, and he took advantage of every bit of it, pummeling Jericho from corner to corner, shutting down any attempt he made at an offense. A powerful irishwhip and a HEART PUNCH later and Jericho was layed out in the center of the ring allowing Carnage to score an easy pin. Carnage wins by pinfall at 5:19. He advances to the third round where he will face D-Von Dudley! Analysis Eight more wrestlers take another step closer to claiming championship gold! The Gladiator vs Animen war continued as Metadillo brutally eliminated Storm from the tournament. And it carries over into the third round as The Bionic Hedgehog faces off gainst one of the deadliest Gladiators in the universe…Bloodmonger! The Dominator faced his first true test in Owen Hart and emerged victorious. D-Von Dudley shocked the galaxy tonight with his surprise upset over HHH.
