Is there any hope of a card games based on Kaiju Big Battel ever being made? The similarities between it and COTG hit me while I was rolling a few matches the other day. For one reason or another, I'm not interested in buying cards of actual wrestlers, but a game based on Kaiju Big Battel is definitely something I would be in the market for.

It's a real niche one....I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I can see Tom and Co. being reluctant as it probably would not sell like the others. Perhaps a PDF.

You know, a few years back the idea to include KBB characters in Legends Of The Future was brought up by someone on the forums here and I wrote that I thought it would be a cool stand alone thing, but they didn't fit in with the brand. I was message board "shouted down" by the guy who brought it up that it would be dismissive to relegate it to a separate set instead of having it be in the LOTF brand. How did that work out for Chikara, CZW, CWF Hollywood, and now ROH?
Again, I think it would be an okay idea. I do not think it should be handled like a regular release. This is the kind of thing that could push the envelope a little. Maybe make the cards on neon orange, pink, and green cardstock and give them a rough look like handbills for an old indy punk band; or mock up the fronts to look like old Japanese monster movie posters (or both). Definitely photos of the characters instead of drawings. Just something to set it apart and appeal to the offbeat nature of the company and its fans. I'd keep it real limited too, maybe 75 copies of the first printing; that would drive sales and gauge the initial interest without too much risk.

I would have no problem with it getting released but I probably would not buy it myself. Or at least I would probably hold off until I had every single other thing on the LOW/LOTF/Chikara/ROH/CZW/CWFH side of things. I know there are plenty of fans out there though and I certainly wouldn't say no to them having their day in the sun (if they even like sun ).

I have been hoping and praying for a KKB set since His Greatness Dr. Cube got his LotF card! I would love a full 24 card color set of Silver Potato, Kung Fu Chicken Noodle, Uchu Chu, Unibozu and the rest! Heck, the Sea Amigos deserve CHIKARA cards for being in KoT a few years back! I would buy anything FG would release Kaiju related.
