My Evolution Idea

I have a LOTF fed that I call Minor League Wrestling (that's really not disrespect but because I think the name really makes alot of sense as I use it as a developmental brand for my main LOW fed I've been running for years that I call Major League Wrestling).

Well in my LOTF brand Minor League Wrestling, I'm thinking of putting together an Evolution stable where I would have 1 wrestler from the regular Legends editions (sort of playing the advisory role of Ric Flair) go down from Major League Wrestling to Minor League Wrestling and put together a stable of wrestlers calling themselves Evolution and claiming to represent the future of wrestling- they'd probably be the main heel stable I would use in Minor League wrestling

Except for knowing that I definitely want Adam Pearce as one of Evolution's members, I'm not sure yet who the other wrestlers (including the one from the regular Legends sets) would be yet. So I may not start using this idea right away in my fed. But I am looking for some feedback. Do you think this is a potentially good idea or a bad idea? And besides Adam Pearce, who else do you think would make good members of Evolution?

I was a really big fan of Evolution when they were a stable in the WWE and I've always wanted to pay tribute to that faction by including an Evolution stable in my LOW fed. I never could figure out how to make it work with using the regular LOW cards, but I think it might work really good with the Legends of the Future cards.

I think it's a really cool idea. I would think to use a manager say like Humperdink to put them together instead of the wrestler. I know it doesn't totally fit the Evolution theme, but then you could bring them up to Major, and have them dump the manager. This could lead to the manager making a new stable to challenge giving a ready made feud plus an opportunity to test them out with the "big boys". I could also see Corino as a ring leader for this type of group. Angelo Mosca would work really well as the "Enforcer" IMO.

If you're planning on having them mostly wrestle in your Minor League Wrestling, it might work well to have Bob Orton Sr. as the leader and Claudio Castagnoli & Adam Pearce as his students. The Big O could probably headline against the LOTF wrestlers.

It might be a cool idea to have one wrestler represent the past, one the present, and one the future. You could have Pearce be the future, DDP be the present(ish), and Johnny Valentine be the past.

Okay, lets try this:
Adam Pearce (as you said) is in.
Steve Corino & Ricky Landell, they could be a tag team, but it works well as they are teacher-student as well.
The veteran leadership should be someone like Ivan Koloff or Killer Kowalski (LE), who can still wrestle main events and such. I mean, we are all saying pretty much the same thing.

I thought of Dick Hutton or Iron Mike DiBiase as well,

Thanks for all the suggestions so far!

I agree Rude would work well (especially with Pearce in the group). But the only problem is that I have plans (if the dice are willing to cooperate) to give Rude a major push on my RAW brand after my Summer Slam PPV. So to use Rude, I would have to delay my Evolution idea and now I'm really eager to get it going in the near future.

Both Darth Caedus and Jason Jaconetti mentioned Steve Corino and I think he could actually work very well and it would be convenient since he's already in Minor League Wrestling anyway.

As for the other members in addition to Pearce, I really liked JMello's suggestion of Castagnoli and Hero (also mentioned by Anivar).

I also liked Darth Caedus's suggestion of using a manager- so I might actually add Larry Sweeney as a fifth member to my version of Evolution. After all the Four Horsemen had a fifth member/manager in J.J. Dillon even though Ric Flair was still really the leader. So I could still have Corino be the leader of Evolution and Sweeny being the manager but not the leader.

My version of evolution is a little different because, unlike in the WWE where they had representation for the past (Ric Flair), present (Triple H) and the future (Batista and Randy Orton), I'll just have 1 wrestler be the present (since all the non-LOTF LOW cards are understandably representative of wrestlers in their prime) and 3 be the future.

So the tentative lineup for my Evolution stable (as you can see I acted on a combination of your great ideas) is:

Steve Corino
Adam Pearce
Chris Hero
Claudio Castagnoli
Larry Sweeney
