Thanks to Kevin and Markoda for the predictions!
September 4, 2009 Card #219: Rupp Arena in Lexington
1) The Heavenly Bodies got a hard-fought win in a great opening match against Buff Bagwell and Chris Candido. Jim Cornette’s team had the early advantage against Candido, as Tom Prichard appeared to have loaded his boot and blasted the blonde bombshell with a stiff kick. Bagwell broke up a pin attempt and soon tagged in, taking over on Dr. Tom. The Bodies came back and hit a Flapjack on “Buff Daddy”. “Sweet” Stan Lane used two superkicks to bust open Candido, but couldn’t pin him. Bagwell seemed to have Prichard pinned after a Buff Blockbuster, but Jim Cornette distracted Frank Morrell from making a count. Prichard came up bloody from the move, and soon tagged out to Lane. Lane and Candido went at it, with Candido having the advantage after a big superplex. Lane rolled to the floor and Candido followed, but got his smashed into the guard railing, causing the blood to flow even more. Lane was in control and looked to have Candido beaten, as he tagged out to Prichard and The Bodies hit a Rocket Launcher. As Prichard made an arrogant cover, Morrell went to count, but somehow Candido managed to kick out! Although Bagwell and Candido aren’t technically considered fan favorites, they were cheered here and the fans popped big time for the kickout! Prichard argued with Morrell about the count, while Candido tried to crawl to his corner. With the blood in his eyes, he went the wrong way and was leaning against the ring ropes, where he was easy pretty to get clocked by Cornette’s tennis racquet! Candido was knocked out. Prichard grabbed him and applied a sleeperhold. It was almost a mockery, as Candido quickly dropped, as did his arm, and Morrell called for the bell, as “Sweet” Stan kept Bagwell from intervening. Cornette was happy to get a win in his home state! ****½
2) “Tiger Man” John Pesek defeated Virgil by submission. Virgil attacked Pesek right at the bell with some cheap shot punches, hoping to gain a big win. He had control for a few minutes and looked on his way to an upset, but Pesek came back with some stiff forearm shots, and then proceeded to outwrestle Virgil. He locked on his other finisher—the Tiger Man Toehold (similar to Frank Gotch’s version). Virgil fought hard for the ropes, but eventually tapped out from the pain. *
3) Frank Gotch forced “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant to tap out. Valiant scored a big win over Gotch’s Team RPW teammate, Danny Hodge, on the last card and hoped to make it two in a row here. Gotch was focused, punishing Valiant early on. With the crowd on his side Valiant came back and locked on his sleeper, but Gotch quickly made the ropes. Valiant had control and had Gotch rocking and reeling. He locked on an abdominal stretch at one point, which angered Dick Hutton at ringside, since that’s his finisher. “Handsome” Jimmy sent Gotch into the corner and charged in with a jumping knee, but Gotch moved out of the way and Valiant’s knee hit the buckle. Gotch seized the opportunity and locked on the Gotch Toehold. Valiant fought and struggled for the ropes, but couldn’t make it, and had to tap out. ***¼
4) Larry Zbyszko scored a quick win over “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. The Heenan Family member took advantage from the start, unloading on Duggan. He rammed Duggan’s head into the top turnbuckle, but it didn’t seem to affect the big man, as he responded with a “Hooo!” and a punch. The bout went to the floor, where Zbyszko regained the advantage with a drop toehold into the guard railing. He brought Duggan back into the ring and managed to get the big man up for a piledriver, which put “Hacksaw” down for the count. DUD
5) Ted and Mike DiBiase scored a huge win, defeating The Dream Team in another great tag team match on this card. This was a battle of figure-fours, as both Ted DiBiase and Greg Valentine attempted to make one of their opponents submit to their hold. At one point, DiBiase had Brutus Beefcake locked in the hold, and as Beefcake leaned up to try and break the hold or get to the ropes, he got met with a patented DiBiase right hand, which busted him open and appeared to have knocked him out! Sensing trouble, Capt. Lou Albano distracted Jerry Calhoun, allowing Beefcake to recover and soon tag out to “The Hammer”. The Dream Team later cut the ring in half on “Iron” Mike, who showed his characteristic fortitude and toughness, refusing to go down. The Dream Team hit some nice double team maneuvers, including Valentine holding DiBiase across his knee in a backbreaker position, and Beefcake coming off the second rope with a double sledge. Mike kicked out of that and Beefcake followed with a top rope double sledge of his own, busting Mike open. Still, the elder DiBiase wouldn’t go down. With the fans behind him, DiBiase managed to tag out to his son. Ted went to work on Valentine. He got “The Hammer” down and applied the figure-four in the center of the ring. Mike kept Beefcake from making a save, as well as knocked Capt. Lou off the apron, as he attempted to interfere. Valentine was trapped and forced to tap out to his own finisher, giving the DiBiases a big win! ****½
6) New Southern Heavyweight champion Curt Hennig scored a victory in tag team competition with his father, Larry “The Axe” over Antonino Rocca and The Crusher. “Argentina” Rocca wanted a piece of the Southern champ at the start of the match, but Larry came in instead, using his power to try and wear down Rocca. Curt tagged in once Rocca had gone down and went for a Hennig Plex, but Rocca blocked it. Crusher came in and pounded away on Curt. Rocca was in again, but got nailed with Axes from both Hennigs. Later on, Crusher blasted the Southern champ with a Bolo Punch and went for a cover, but Larry made the save. Rocca got double teamed by the Hennigs and was worn down. Larry hit him with another Axe, but Rocca still kicked out. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan snuck around the ring and grabbed Crusher’s leg in the corner, which distracted “The Man Who Made Milwaukee Famous” and caused him to get down from the apron and go after “The Weasel”. Meanwhile Larry locked a weakened Rocca in a bear hug. Paul Neighbors checked Rocca’s arm and it dropped three times, giving The Hennigs a submission victory. Once Crusher realized it, he was angered at himself. The Hennigs and their manager quickly retreated, knowing they had gotten the victory and that’s what mattered. ***¼
7) Dan “The Beast” Severn finally got a win over Steve “Dr. Death” Williams. Williams is quickly becoming one of the more popular wrestlers in the USWA and received big cheers from the Rupp Arena fans. He was hard-hitting early on, bouncing back off a whip into the turnbuckle and blasting Severn with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Severn used his throws to weaken Williams, especially his fireman’s carry slam. He even took Williams up to the top rope and did an overhead belly-to-belly superplex for a near fall. Williams got busted open after some knee strikes and Severn locked him in a choke sleeper, but “Dr. Death” made the ropes. Severn slapped on the wakigatame, wrenching on the arm. Williams managed to get his free arm over the ropes. He battled back and attempted an Oklahoma Stampede, but dropped Severn, as his arm was weak from the armbar. Severn quickly hit another fireman’s carry slam, then applied the wakigatame in the center of the ring. Williams was trapped and forced to tap out. As Jerry Calhoun called for the bell, Severn kept the armbar locked on. Dick Hutton entered the ring and encouraged Severn to keep it on. Williams continued to tap. The DiBiases and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, with 2X4 in hand, came down to the ring to run Hutton and Severn off. Severn wrenched back on the armbar one last time before releasing and fleeing, and Williams looked in pain. The DiBiases and Duggan helped their teammate to the back, as he clutched the arm. ***½
8) The Killer Bees earned another shot at the USWA World Tag Team titles by defeating Brad Armstrong and Koko B. Ware. This was a quick, fast-paced match. Armstrong hit B. Brian Blair with a flying head scissors for a near fall. “The Birdman” tagged in, but Blair surprised him with a crossbody block for a close one. Jim Brunzell missed a dropkick in the corner against Armstrong and crashed outside of the ring. He managed to tag out to Blair, who wore down Armstrong and then tagged “Jumping” Jim back in. The Bees hit the Bee Sting and managed to pin Armstrong. The two teams shook hands afterward in a show of sportsmanship, and Armstrong and Ware wished The Bees well against Magnificent Muraco and Greg Valentine next week. *½
9) Nick Bockwinkel defeated “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka by submission. Bockwinkel had control early on and went for the figure-four, but Snuka got to the ropes. Snuka took over and had control for most of the bout, scoring near falls after a backbreaker, knee drop, flying head butt, and a leap frog and a chop. The crowd was behind the Fijian warrior and it looked like victory was a sure thing. He went up to the top rope and dove off with the Superfly Leap, but Bockwinkel rolled out of the way and Snuka crashed hard, smacking his head. Bockwinkel recovered, got to his feet, and locked on the Bockwinkel Sleeper from behind. Snuka was weakened from the missed splash and went down quickly. Frank Morrell check Snuka’s arm and it dropped three times, giving Bockwinkel an impressive out of nowhere win. ***
10) Kentucky native Ed “Strangler” Lewis defended the USWA World Heavyweight title in the main event against Diamond Dallas Page. It was a weird sight, as both men stood in the corners for the pre-main event introductions, fans were split in their favoritism. It might be a normal scene in any other USWA city, but in Lewis’ home state, it was odd to see. Lewis had control for the first few minutes, outwrestling Page at every turn. DDP came back and actually used some mat holds, which caught the “Strangler” off guard. Page picked things up and hit the Diamond Dream. He seemed to be signaling for the Diamond Cutter, but couldn’t hit the move. Lewis took over and threw Page down with the Strangler’s Headlock. Page quickly got to the ropes to avoid both a pin and submission. The action was back-and-forth when Lewis locked on a bear hug. Page wouldn’t surrender, so Lewis tripped his right leg and took him down, still holding on the bear hug. The champ managed to position the challenger’s shoulders down and hold them for a pin attempt. Jerry Calhoun checked Page’s shoulders and started counting. He hit three and Page lifted his shoulder, right after the fact. There was some confusion for a moment, but the decision was clear: Lewis scored the pin. Page seemed upset at being off by just a second, but accepted the fact he’d been beaten. He offered his hand to the champ and Lewis accepted the handshake. **

Excellent show!!! Lewis is the man! Valentine is one half of the tag champs with Muraco and still wrestles with Beefcake as the Dream Team?
The USWA is on fire, keep 'em coming.

Valentine is one half of the tag champs with Muraco and still wrestles with Beefcake as the Dream Team? Of course, where have you been?! J/K This is something I've been doing this year, showcasing Valentine as a "tag team specialist". The USWA is on fire, keep 'em coming. Will do! And thanks for reading. I appreciate all the comments.

Highlights of USWA Championship Wrestling from September 5: • It was announced that Steve “Dr. Death” Williams had thankfully only suffered some minor damage to his arm from Dan Severn’s wakigatame. Williams will only miss about two weeks of action. Ted DiBiase announced that Bill Apter will be traveling to Oklahoma next week and will interview Williams, who will have a special challenge for “The Beast”! • In previewing upcoming cards, USWA fans found out that Curt Hennig’s first challenger for the USWA Southern Heavyweight championship will be a two-time former champion Frank Gotch. The two will collide in the main event on September 18 at the USWA’s first card ever at the Oil Palace in Tyler, TX. The Team RPW member has scored some impressive wins lately and hopes to become a three-time champion (the current record for the Southern title—held by Gorgeous George and The Sheik). • Also on the 18th, the World Tag Team champions Magnificent Muraco and Greg Valentine will be in action in a non-title grudge match against “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka and “The Boogie Woogie Man” “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant. Muraco is looking for payback for his neck injury caused by Snuka and Valiant and hopes to get it in Tyler!
The USWA comes back to the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville on September 11! • “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka will face Larry Zbyszko in a rematch from a few weeks ago in Memphis. Zbyszko won by DQ after Bobby Heenan got involved and enraged Snuka. Can Snuka gain revenge or will Zbyszko score another sneaky win? • Brad Armstrong and Koko B. Ware didn’t earn a Tag Team title shot for this card, but they’ve got a big matchup nonetheless, as they’ll face their rivals The Heavenly Bodies! Armstrong and Ware got the first win via countout when these teams met, after The Bodies and Jim Cornette bailed. You can bet they’ll be looking for a decisive win in the Music City! • Nick Bockwinkel will collide with Antonino “Argentina” Rocca. These two have traded wins throughout 2009 and both are looking to get another shot at USWA singles gold. Who will get the win at the Municipal Auditorium? • The DiBiases are looking for revenge for teammate Steve Williams. They’ll collide with the two RPW members responsible for his injury Dan “The Beast” Severn and coach Dick Hutton. The father-son duo has gotten some impressive tag team wins lately. Can they keep it up and score one for their unit? • Johnny Valentine returns to action! He’ll face his first challenge in taking on The Heenan Family when he meets big Larry “The Axe” Hennig! Will Valentine be 100% and ready to chop down “The Axe”? • The main event will be for the USWA World Tag Team titles when Magnificent Muraco and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine put the gold on the line against The Killer Bees. These teams have met twice this year in championship bouts. Muraco and Valentine retained on both occasions, but both times by devious means. Capt. Lou Albano announced on Championship Wrestling that Muraco’s neck is fully healed from its injury and he will be 100% come next week. Can his men retain again or will The Bees grab their first USWA Tag Team championship? All these great bouts, plus Texas champ “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton faces Danny Hodge in a non-title match, and more great match-ups!

Thanks as always to Kevin for the predictions!
September 11, 2009 Card #220: Municipal Auditorium in Nashville
1) Frank Gotch made Cousin Luke submit in the opener. Luke tried his hardest to score an upset, but got so wound up, he accidentally elbowed Scott Bowden. As he checked on Bowden, Gotch regained control and outwrestled Luke. He had Luke in the Gotch Toehold and the hillbilly tapped, but there was no referee. Tommy Gilbert finally came down, just in time to see Gotch apply a guillotine choke and again make Luke tap, this time to officially end the match. ½*
2) “Playboy” Buddy Rose and “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe scored a quick win over Virgil and Johnny Rodz. Coming off some recent losses, “Sensational” Sherri Martel’s men were desperate for a win, and attacked their opponents right at the bell. Sharpe stomped Rodz on the arena floor, while Rose kept Virgil in the ring and put a pounding on him. The “Playboy” hit the Bombs Away quickly and scored the pin. Sharpe didn’t seem to mind the fact that he never tagged in, as it was still a win for his team. DUD
3) John Pesek defeated S.D. Jones by submission. This was basically a “Tiger Man” clinic, as Pesek largely controlled “Special Delivery”, showcasing his great mat wrestling skills. Jones fought hard but gave in when Pesek locked on his double wristlock. After the match, Jones offered his hand to Pesek, and the Nebraskan accepted in a good show of sportsmanship. ¼*
4) Texas champion “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton pinned Danny Hodge. Hodge, a former Texas champ, was hoping for a non-title win. But Eaton, closing in one year as champ, was very impressive here. He used his high flying skills to wear down the mat wrestler Hodge. He scored the pin in just a few minutes after an Alabama Jam. *¼
5) Larry Zbyszko scored an impressive win over “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka. This was a back-and-forth bout, and was in-and-out of the ring on several occasions. Zbyszko had control after slamming Snuka’s back into the ringpost outside the ring. He applied an abdominal stretch in the ring, but Snuka made the ropes. Zbyszko used a chair outside the ring to the Fijian warrior’s back, while Bobby Heenan distracted Scott Bowden (recovered from the first bout of the evening). Zbyszko threw Snuka back in the ring and came off the top rope with a falling sledge, but Snuka sidestepped him and blasted him with a chop to the chest. He went for a cover, but Zbyszko kicked out. Snuka was in control and seemed on his way to victory. He went up to the top rope and dove off with the Superfly Leap, but Zbyszko rolled out of the way and Snuka crashed hard. Zbyszko got to his feet, picked Snuka up, and hit a piledriver. He covered Snuka, hooked the leg, and got the 1-2-3. “The Brain” was very happy with his man’s victory. It was a scene similar to last week in Lexington, where a missed Superfly Leap led to a loss for Snuka. **½
6) The Heavenly Bodies defeated Brad Armstrong and “The Birdman” Koko B. Ware with some help from Jim Cornette. “Sweet” Stan Lane blasted Armstrong with a big lariat early on for a near fall. Armstrong tagged out to Koko who hit Tom Prichard with a big flying head butt for a two-count. The bout went outside the ring, where Cornette blasted Ware with the tennis racquet to the back, while Paul Morton was distracted by Armstrong and Lane in the ring. Prichard worked over Ware, hitting a flying body press for a two-count. The Bodies hit a Flapjack on “The Birdman” and Prichard went for a cover, but got 2¾. Cornette ran around the ring and pulled Armstrong’s leg, causing him to jump down and chase the manager around the ring. It was a trap as Lane was waiting for Armstrong and nailed him with a superkick. Lane then distracted Morton, while Cornette threw Prichard the racquet. Dr. Tom cracked Ware with the racquet again and then tossed it out, before making a cover and scoring the pin. **¾
7) Nick Bockwinkel forced Antonino “Argentina” Rocca into submission, after some controversial interference from Bobby Heenan. Bockwinkel went for the figure-four early on, but Rocca kicked him off. With the crowd behind him, Rocca came back and had control. He weakened Bockwinkel and lifted him up into the Argentinian Backbreaker, in the center of the ring. Bockwinkel looked beaten, but hadn’t signaled yet for a submission. Meanwhile, “The Brain” snuck around the ring, grabbed the timekeeper’s hammer, and rang the bell. Not all the fans saw the action, so the crowd popped, thinking Rocca had won. The former Southern champ thought the same and dropped Bockwinkel and began to celebrate. Scott Bowden looked around and spoke with Gary Michael Cappetta, explaining that there was no submission. Cappetta announced that the match would continue and the fans responded with boos! In the midst of the chaos, Bockwinkel recovered, got to his feet, and surprised Rocca from behind with the Bockwinkel Sleeper. Rocca was able to get to the ropes, but was weakened enough, that Bockwinkel retained control. He locked on a second sleeper and put Rocca out to get the win. The fans were irate by the way Bockwinkel got his win! ***½
8) Dick Hutton and Dan Severn defeated Ted and Mike DiBiase in a physical tag team match. Ted took control of his former partner Hutton in the first few minutes, and tagged out to his father. Hutton also tagged out to “The Beast”, who punished “Iron” Mike. Hutton came back in and locked Mike in a sleeperhold, but Ted made the save for his father. Once Mike regained his strength, he tagged out to his son. Ted was fired up and bent the rules a bit, smashing Hutton’s leg into the ring post from outside the ring—perhaps enraged by wanting revenge for Steve “Dr. Death” Williams. DiBiase locked on the figure-four, but Hutton managed to get to the ropes after a long struggle. Severn came back in and looked like a “Beast”, punishing Ted and slamming him on his arm with a fireman’s carry slam. He then locked on the wakigatame in the center and Ted quickly tapped, giving Team RPW an impressive win. ***¼
9) Johnny Valentine gave Larry “The Axe” Hennig a pounding en route to a pinfall victory. This was a hard-hitting match. The Nashville fans gave Valentine a big cheer, welcoming back. Valentine used his hitting force to knock down Larry, using the Atomic Skullcrusher on several occasions, and even knocking Larry out of the ring with one and nearly scoring a countout. Bobby Heenan’s encouragement helped Hennig get back in the ring, but Valentine soon scored the one after another Skullcrusher. **
10) The main event was for the USWA World Tag Team titles, as two-time champs Magnificent Muraco and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine defended against The Killer Bees. The challengers were very fired up in this one, knowing that they had lost in two prior challenges. “Jumping” Jim Brunzell went to work on Valentine early, even going for the figure-four on him. He blasted Valentine with a dropkick, then tagged out to B. Brian Blair. Blair locked Valentine in a Scorpion Deathlock, but Capt. Lou Albano attempted to enter the ring. Paul Morton saw this and diverted his attention from Valentine, who actually tapped out. Muraco jumped in to pull Valentine to the ropes, in time for Morton to see this and call for a break. Blair came off the second rope with a knee drop, busting Valentine open. Muraco finally tagged in, but got worked over as well. He used the Asiatic Spike to gain a momentary advantage over Brunzell. The champs double teamed Brunzell in the corner, with Muraco choking him on the ropes on the inside and Valentine adding leverage from the outside. Valentine hit a neckbreaker on Brunzell for a near fall. Brunzell managed to make the hot tag to Blair, but he was soon punished by the Hawaiian powerhouse. It looked the champs had things wrapped up. Muraco sent Blair into the ropes and prepared to hit a clothesline, but Blair ducked, quickly got behind Muraco, and applied the sleeper! The crowd went wild, as Muraco started to drop. Valentine came in, but Brunzell did as well and knocked “The Hammer” out of the ring with a dropkick. Sensing that Albano might interfere, Brunzell dove over the top rope and blasted the manager with a crossbody block, taking him out. It was left to just the two legal men. Morton checked Muraco’s arm and it dropped three times. Morton called for the bell and awarded the match to the new World Tag Team champions! The crowd went wild, as did The Bees! Several fan favorites came out from the locker room to celebrate and hold the new champs on their shoulders! ***¼

Thanks to Neily and Kevin for the comments!
Highlights of USWA Championship Wrestling on September 12: • An interview aired Steve “Dr. Death” Williams, that was taped earlier in the week at his house in Norman, OK. Bill Apter asked him what the challenge was that Ted DiBiase had hinted at on last week’s Championship Wrestling. Williams stated that he and Severn have met both on the amateur mat and in the pro ring. He (Williams) beat Severn in the NCAA tournament and they have traded wins in the squared circle. Williams says that many wrestlers consider him one of the toughest men around. He wants to prove that to be true. He challenged “The Beast” to a three-match series. He wants to showcase both men’s fighting talents. He said the first match would be under standard pro wrestling rules, the second match under amateur rules (with a one-count scoring a victory), and the third match (if needed) in Severn’s specialty—mixed martial arts rules in an Octagon cage! Apter told Williams that while he believes he is definitely one of the toughest wrestlers in wrestling today, he asked him if he thinks he’s biting off more than he can chew in stepping into Severn’s sport. Williams responded saying that if he can beat Severn at "his own game", he would prove his toughness. But first, Williams stated that Severn had to be man enough to accept the challenge! • Back in the WMC-TV studios, Team RPW was interviewed by Lance Russell. Dan Severn accepted Steve Williams’ challenge and said he will defeat Williams in two straight matches, but that if somehow, Williams wins a first match, Severn will embarrass him inside the Octagon and make him tap! The first match will take place on October 16 at the Sailors and Soldiers Memorial Coliseum in Evansville! • Ed “Strangler” Lewis’ next challenger for the USWA World Heavyweight title was announced. Three-time champ Nick Bockwinkel will receive another shot at the belt on October 9 at the Civic Coliseum in Knoxville. Can Bockwinkel finally win his record-setting fourth championship?
The USWA makes its debut at the Oil Palace in Tyler, TX on September 18 with a star-studded card! • Dan “The Beast” Severn will collide with “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. Severn has been looking strong the last couple of weeks. Can he keep his momentum going, before he faces Steve Williams in the three-match series? • Before challenging for the USWA World Heavyweight championship, Nick Bockwinkel will do battle with a Heenan Family rival—The Crusher. These two have traded wins in 2009. Can Crusher score another big win over Bock, or will Bock and Bobby “The Brain” prevail? • In a grudge tag team match, the now former World Tag Team champions Magnificent Muraco and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine will take another former champion team—“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka and “The Boogie Woogie Man” “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant. Muraco and Valentine are looking for revenge on Snuka and Valiant for their attack on Muraco back in July in Birmingham, that injured his neck. Now that they’ve lost the titles, you can bet that Capt. Lou Albano’s men will be more fired up! • Johnny Valentine continues his mission to destroy The Heenan Family, when he takes on Larry Zbyszko. Valentine looked impressive in his win against Larry “The Axe” Hennig this last week, but Zbyszko has been on a roll lately, and scored a controversial win over Valentine back in May in Tupelo. Who will win this hard-hitting bout? • In the first of two championship bouts, “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton approaches his one-year anniversary as USWA Texas champion. But first he must defend against the man whom he beat—“Playboy” Buddy Rose. If Eaton retains, he will be a one-year champ, as he captured the gold on September 26, 2008, and there won’t be another Texas title defense by that point. Can he retain or will Rose become a two-time champ? • The main event will be for the USWA Southern Heavyweight championship as Curt Hennig makes his first defense against two-time former champ and former World champ Frank Gotch. Neither man is very popular among the USWA fans, so it will be interesting to see with whom they side. Gotch has the technical wrestling skills, while Hennig is known for his sneakiness. Gotch will have Team RPW coach Dick Hutton in his corner, and you can bet that Bobby “The Brain” Heenan will lead his charge to the ring. Who will walk out of Tyler the “King of the South”? All this, plus a rematch between “Nebraska Tiger Man” John Pesek and George South. Also, Diamond Dallas Page and more USWA superstars in action!
