Good card with interesting outcomes. The best thing about it is the location we here in Massachusetts are honored to have the most prestigous event ever held in Jack Witchi's as the fans in Attleboro area are not used to every match being main-event caliber. Just surprised your "championship committee" did not get swayed by one of those swank arenas like Boston Garden, Madison Square Garden or The Spectrum.

Card #2 - LWF @ Landover, MD Capital Centre January 12th, year one “Night of the Iron Team” Injuries: Jimmy Snuka 2 cards
Tonight’s show comes from Landover MD and kicks off with Commissioner Charlie Cox addressing the audience from inside the ring. Cox tells us that tonight will be the Iron Team Tournament to determine the first Tag Team Champions The crowd loves it!
We find out from Gary Michael Cappetta that the Road Warriors, Johnny & Greg Valentine, Russian Assassins and the Valiant Brothers will participate in the Iron Team Tournament. Each team will wrestle the other once in three rounds. 20 points will be awarded for a pin/submission win, 15 for a count-out win, 10 for a DQ win and 5 for each competitor in the event of a draw. The team with the most points at the end of the third round are the Tag Team Champions!
Match #1: Road Warriors v. Johnny & Jimmy Valiant The Valiant’s make the mistake off trying to attack the Warriors on the way to the ring and Jimmy found himself on the receiving end of a DOOMSDAY DEVICE in the first official move the match! Incredibly, Jimmy kicks out of Animal’s cover at 2 ¾ and Animal tosses Jimmy to the floor. Animal picks up Jimmy outside the ring and rams his back into the steel ring post. The referee has seen enough and disqualifies the Warriors at 0:42! (H 2, A 3; Ji V 4; Jo V 4)
Match #2: Russian Assassins w/Nikita Breznikov v. Johnny & Greg Valentine Monster heat for the Russians. The Valentines cut of Assassin #2 from his corner and only the interference of Assassin #1 keeps the match alive. Johnny Valentine brawls with Assassin #1 at ringside and Johnny nails his opponent with a chair shot and is disqualified at 1: 37. (A #2 3, A #1 6; JV 1, GV 4)
World Champion Buddy Rogers is on Bill Apter’ Hotseat. Classic heel promo by Rogers drawing great heat while discussing his upcoming defence against Nick Bockinkel in Philadelphia at the end of the month.
Match #3: Road Warriors v. Russians Assassins w/Nikita Breznikov (Assassin #2 +1) The Assassins took the match to the Warriors from the opening bell with Assassin #2 ramming Animal shoulder first into the steel ring post. It is a battle of power moves including multiple overhead slams by both teams. Breznikov saves Assassin #1 from a DOOMSDAY DEVICE and only moments later, Animal save Hawk from a BACKBREAKER DROP. The Warriors ends the match at 4:27 with a DOOMSDAY DEVICE on Assassin #2. (A 3, H4; #1 4, #2 7)
Match #4: Jimmy & Johnny Valiant v. Johnny & Greg Valentine The Valiant’s are particularly cocky before the match after their first round upset win. Both teams use defensive tags to keep the action shifting back and forth. Johnny Valiant survives an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER and deathjump clothesline before the action spills to the floor. Johnny Valentine rams Johnny Valiant into the steel ring post and is disqualified at 1:09. The Valiant’s are undefeated after two rounds! After the match, Greg Valentine is not pleased with his father costing them a second straight match. (GV 4, JV 1 Ji V 3, Jo V 6)
Match #5: Ted DiBiase w/Virgil v. The Sandman Great heat for DiBiase. This is an absolute mugging with the referee allowing Sandman liberal use of his Singapore Cane. Virgil’s distraction saves DiBiase from the third SINGAPORE CANE shot of the match and DiBiase kicks out of two HARDCORE DDTS. The 4th SINGAPORE CANE shot earns Sandman a disqualification at 1:11 as a bloody DiBiase is pulled under the ropes by Virgil. (TD 7 S 3)
Match #6: Road Warriors (Hawk +1) v. Johnny & Greg Valentine Greg Valentine is clearly frustrated and gets in the face of Gary Micheal Cappetta allowing the Warriors to storm ringside and attack before the bell. The Valentines comes back cutting off Animal from his corner. Johnny survives a DOOMSDAY DEVICE and POWERSLAM before Greg tags in uses a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Animal then scoring the pin with a shoulder breaker while Johnny brawls with Hawk at 1:19. (A6; H 3 ; JV 3; GV 4)
Match #7: Russian Assassins w/Nikita Breznikov (#2 +2). v. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (+1) The winner of this match will be the new Tag Team Champions. The action is fast paced and goes back and forth. The Russians manage to cut off Johnny Valiant for some time but eventually Jimmy hot tags into the match (the fans are behind the Valiant’s in this one). Assassin #1 catches Johnny in a RUSSIAN CLAW but Jimmy and Assassin #2 join the action starting a wild brawl. The referee throws the match out disqualifying both teams at 3:05. Breznikov joins in and the Russians begin to beat down the Valiants who have just won the tournament and the Tag Team Title with the five points awarded for a draw. Hawk and Animal storm the ring and send all three Russians packing with shoulder tackles and clotheslines. They then turn their attention to the Valiants and crush both Jimmy and Johnny with DOOMSDAY DEVICES before standing in the middle of the ring over the fallen champions holding up the Title Belts.

The wrestler with the most points at the end of the third round is the 1st LWF United States Champion!
Match #1: Bobo Brazil v. Harley Race Great ovation for Brazil who takes several minutes greeting his fans at ringside. Brazil destroys Race from bell to bell with a series of COCO BUTTS. A Bobo body slam gives Brazil the win at 1:36. (BB 1; HR 6)
Match #2: Jimmy Snuka (1) v. Johnny Valentine Solid pop for Snuka when he is introduced by Cappetta. Snuka’s forehead is bandaged protecting the lacerations suffered in the attack by the Beautiful Ones two week ago. Snuka downs Valentine with a leap frog and chop and comes off the buckles with a SUPERFLY LEAP (5) at 0:29 to pick up 20 points. (JS 4; JV2)
Frank Gotch is Bill’s Apter’s guest on the Hot Seat. Gotch tells us that he made Heavyweight Champion Buddy Rogers submit in this very ring two weeks ago and he will make he submit next time they meet as well. The Iron Sheik interrupts the interview declaring he is tired of being overlooked by American journalist and that he, and not Gotch, is the best submission wrestler in the LWF. Sheik then grabs Apter but Gotch takes Sheik out with a waistlock takeover. Gotch goes for the GOTCH TOEHOLD but Sheik rolls to the floor . Gotch then challenges Sheik to a submission match next week in Philadelphia.
Match #3: Johnny Valentine v. Bobo Brazil Another solid ovation for Brazil when he is introduced. The action starts quickly and both men go for the kill early hitting their finishers multiple times. Brazil catches Valentine with a clothesline and then hits a big hammer punch for the win at 1:50. (BB 6; JV 5)
Match #4: Harley Race (+2) v. Jimmy Snuka (1) The fans give the Superfly a huge ovation when he comes to the ring. Race is all business from the bell keeping the match at a slow pace. Snuka comes back with back to back leap frog and chops followed by a piledriver for a near fall. The action spills to the floor and Snuka is disqualified at 0:35 for ramming Race’s face into the steel rails by the fans busting Race open. Brazil has a commanding lead heading into the finals with 40 points followed by Snuka with 20 and Race with 10. Valentine is out of contention with two losses. (HR 5; JS 4)
Match #5: King Kong Bundy v. The Destroyer Bundy draws solid heat telling the fans he will put The Destroyer down for the five count. Both men start slowly and counter wrestle. Destroyer struggles with Bundy’s size but manages to survive an AVALANCE. Bundy puts Destroyer down with a running power slam at 4:55. (D 6; KKB 6)
Match #6: Johnny Valentine (+2) v. Harley Race (+2) Both men are out of contention and are battling for pride. Valentine blocks a charge into the corner with an elbow to the face and takes Race to the floor ramming Race’s face into the steel rails causing a disqualification at 0:18. Both men brawl to the back.
Match #7: Jimmy Snuka (1) v. Bobo Brazil (+2) Both men receive monster pops from the fans when they are introduced. A handshake starts the match off. Brazil comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle but Snuka escapes an attempted full nelson suplex. A COCO BUTT gives Brail a 2 1 ½ count and later Brazil kicks out after a SUPERFLY LEAP (3) at the last possible second. Snuka rocks Brazil with a piledriver and finishes the match with a SUPERFLY LEAP (5) for the pin at 1:34.
Commissioner Charlie Cox presents Snuka with the United States Title and Brazil is the first to congratulate the Superfly. The celebration is interrupted by the Beautiful People who try to get to Snuka but Brazil stands beside his opponent causing George and Rose to think twice before charging the ring. Commissioner Cox acts quickly and announces a special tag team attraction for the next card, Brazil & Snuka against the Beautiful People.

Thanks Holland227...
The action continued after the bell after the last card in the Commissioner's Office. After Commissioner Cox signed the Tag Team Battle between United States Champion Jimmy Snuka, Bobo Brazil and The Beautiful People, Gorgeous George and Playboy Buddy Rose were irate. Rose confronted Cox backstage and demanded that he get a shot at Snuka's United States Title. Cox told Rose that if he wants a title shot then he can face the number one contender Bobo Brazil first. Rose will face Brazil one on one at the Boston Garden in two weeks. The winner will go onto face Snuka at the next card!

Up next the LWF heads to Philadelphia for the first time. Here is run down of the action signed for far:
The Million Dollar Man is looking to revenge the bloody beating he took at the hands of the Sandman at the Capital Centre two weeks ago. DiBiase has warned the fans that everyone has their price for the Million Dollar Man. Has DiBiase purchased some insurance against The Sandman? One this is for sure, Sandman will have his hometown fans behind him and his Singapore Cane at his side. This one should be a wild ride.
Following the confrontation on the Hot Seat, Iron Sheik has accepted the challenge of Frank Gotch and two of the best mat wrestlers in the LWF will meet in a submission match. What will reign supreme, the GOTCH TOE HOLD or the CAMEL CLUTCH?
We will get to see how committed Johnny Valentine is to teaming with his son when the Valentines take on the Road Warriors with the winner getting the next opportunity at LWF Tag Team Champions the Valiant Brothers. The Valentines already have a convincing victory over the Warriors at Night of the Iron Teams, can they do it again?
Signed on the fly by Commissioner Carter at the conclusion of last week’s card, United States Champion Jimmy Snuka teams with Bobo Brazil to face the Beautiful People. There is plenty of heat between these two teams so this feud has the potential to explode!
In the main event, LWF Champion Buddy Rogers makes his first defense against the runner up in the title tournament, Nick Bockwinkel. Commissioner Cox has awarded the next title shot to Frank Gotch so the loser of this contest could find themselves quickly out of title contention.
All this plus two other bouts yet to be announced

Card #4 - Philadelphia, PA Philadelphia Arena, January 26th, year one “No Surrender”
Match #1: Russian Assassins w/Nikita Breznikov v. The Last of The Famous International Playboys Great heat for Breznikov and his men making the LOTFIP the faces by default. The Assassins dominate the action against Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell from the opening bell including several well executed double team attacks. Assassin #1 trapped Beefcake in a RUSSIAN CLAW but Bagwell interferes breaking the hold just as the 5:00 time limit expired (A #1 3; A #2 4; BB 7; BB 6)
Match #2: Giant Baba v. King Kong Bundy Plenty of Japanese media cover the bout from ringside. As expected both men hammer away with power moves. Baba controls the early action before Bundy’s strength turns the match in his favour. Baba stuns the crowd hoisting Bundy into a sloppy vertical suplex and then rams Bundy’s face into the ringside table before putting him away with a NECKBREAKER DROP at 2:43.

DiBiase opens with a knife edge chop and tosses Sandman to the floor. DiBiase rams Sandman’s face into the steel rails by the fans busting Sandman open. The referee calls for the bell disqualifying DiBiase at 0:17. The fans jeer the decision but the action continues. Virgil joins the battle teaming with DiBiase to spike piledrive Sandman on the arena floor! Security arrives but the damage is done. Sandman is removed on a stretcher.
Match #4: Jimmy Snuka & Bobo Brazil v. Beautiful People w/Cherie Dupré Great ovation for Snuka & Brazil while Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose draw monster heat with their pre match antics. The Beautiful People target Brazil early busting him open with a foreign object blast and face rakes with Georgie pins. Snuka turns things around and only the distraction of Dupré saves George from a SUPERFLY LEAP. After Snuka misses a SUPERFLY LEAP, Rose and Snuka brawl at ringside. Snuka rams Rose’s face into the steel rails by the fans busting Rose open and is disqualified at 2:08. The fans are not happy as the Beautiful People retreat to the back.
World Tag Team Champions Jimmy & Johnny Valiant appear on the Hotseat with Bill Apter. The Champions are confident telling everyone it does not matter who wins the number one contenders match tonight, they will beat either team next week in Boston.
Match # 5: Submission Match – Frank Gotch v. Iron Sheik w/Nikita Breznikov Sheik draws great heat with his pre match mic work. The addition of Breznikov at ringside just makes the crowd more intense. Gotch tears apart Sheik from the opening bell with various holds and counters mixed in with the occasional Iowa backdrop. Gotch busts Sheik open at ringside before finishing him off with the third rolling kneebar of the match at 2:51. (FG 1 IS 10)

The Warriors down Johnny with a DOOMSDAY DEVICE but Greg Valentine tries to make pin save kicking off a wild brawl. The referee loses control and disqualifies both teams at 2:40. The action continues back to the dressing room.
Match #7: LWF Title Match – Buddy Rogers (ch) v. Nick Bockwinkel Great heat for the champion has he struts around the ring. Bockwinkel sets the pace and downs Rogers with a figure four leglock followed by a deathjump smash, deathjump clothesline and deathjump forearm smash that traps Rogers into the ropes. Bockwinkel attacks the trapped champion with kicks and punches and when the referee steps in, Bockwinkel shoves the official to the mat and is disqualified at 1:25. The fans crap all over the decision as Rogers flees the ring with his title belt.
