Very enjoyable show as always, Vegas. Great to see Scorpio Sky receive a well earned opportunity to face the ROV Champion Roderick Strong, albeit not for the title. I'm hoping he can take advantage of this chance and force Strong to put his Championship on the line against Scorpio on a future card.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV, Episode #25 July 1st, Year One Las Vegas, NV
In the Ring: ROV Tag Team Champions the Briscoes
- Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoes says Non Negotiables made it obvious that Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (who earned an upcoming tag title shot at Non Negotiables by defeating the Young Bucks but later that night tried to interfere on behalf of their enemies Future Shock in a match against the Briscoes) doubts their ability to defeat the Briscoes for the ROV Tag Team Championship.
- the Briscoes go on to say they are looking forward to the challenge of wrestling Natural Selection (Shaun Ricker and Brian Cage) in 3 days form now at Planet Hollywood in a non-title match and say if Natural Selection wins they will gladly give them a future title shot as they would prefer to defend the belts against a tag team which has proven it can defeat them (Briscoes) then against a team like WGTT whose actions at Non Negotiables show they doubt their ability to defeat the tag champions.
Match #1: Terex defeated The Hobo in a Hollywood match
- during this match, the ROV TV announcers mentioned that both of these two competitors will be at Planet Hollywood in the upcoming Sin City Scramble match to win a future title match against the ROV TV Champion.
- Terex won via his BIG SPLASH, how will Terex do in the Sin City Scramble in 3 days at Planet Hollywood?
Backstage: Johnny Yuma says he will also be in the Sin City Scramble match at Planet Hollywood!
Match #2: Mikey O'Shea defeated Ryan Taylor and Pinky in a Hollywood triple threat match
- during this match, the TV announcers mentioned that all 3 of the participants in this match would be involved at Planet Hollywood in the upcoming Sin City Scramble match to win a future title match against the ROV TV Champion.
- a great match which ended when O'Shea pinned Pinky after an IRISH CAR BOMB as the ROV TV announcers wonder aloud how will O'Shea do in the Sin City Scramble?
Backstage: Joey Ryan is approached by the WOV Tag Team Champions the Women of Violence (LuFisto and Christina Von Eerie)
- LuFisto: "Joey, I know someone who is a real freak who wants some one on one action with you."
- Ryan, "Tell them I will give them some one on one action anytime. So, LuFisto and Christina, this person is a real freak between the sheets?"
- ROV Promoter David Marquez (standing behind Ryan:) "No, but he is a real freak between the ropes. Thank you Joey for agreeing to a match against vOodOo Kaos at Planet Hollywood."
- Ryan tries to protest being set up by the Women of Violence, but to no avail
Match #3: Los Banditos defeated PPrAy in a Hollywood match
- Pretty Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas did alot of damage against the Banditos but the Banditos got the victory when Rico Dynamite pinned Rosas after BANDITO BADLANDS.
- afterward, ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness appeared and announced that at Planet Hollywood the opponents for PPrAy will be the Young Bucks and the Planet Hollywood opponents for Los Banditos will be the American Wolves!
Backstage: Young Bucks say they will show in their match against PPrAy at Planet Hollywood who is the best SoCal tag team!
On Tap with James Morgan: Willie Mack is the guest
- Morgan makes fun of Mack's weight saying while he (Morgan) is more familiar with the main event Mack is apparently more familiar with the main course until Mack gets mad and challenges Morgan to a match at Planet Hollywood. Morgan agrees and then from behind hits Mack with MORGAN GENUINE DRAFT
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #13: Planet Hollywood Thursday July 4th, Year 1 Empire Ballroom 1. Scorpio Sky vs ROV Champion Roderick Strong (non-title) 2. Match #4: ROV Champion Roderick Strong and Adam Pearce (both accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Scorpio Sky and ROV TV Champion Bryan Danielson
- this match pitted the House of Truth's Strong and Pearce against their respective Planet Hollywood opponents Sky and Danielson
- Strong and Pearce won when Strong made Sky tap out to the STRONG HOLD
- will Sky have better luck against Strong in their one on one match at Planet Hollywood where a win by Sky gives him a title shot against Strong at Boiling Point?
- as Strong and Pearce brag about their victory, this episode of ROV TV comes to an end.
End of Show. See you in 3 days for Planet Hollywood!

ROV TV #25 was a good show and Strong & Pearce look great going into Planet Hollywood with their win over Danielson & Scorpio Sky. I liked how Joey Ryan got suckered into facing vOodOo Kaos thanks to the Women of Violence. As usual Joey was thinking with his "other head"

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #13: Planet Hollywood July 4th, Year One Empire Ballroom Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Pre-Show Match: Kevin Steen and El Generico defeated Future Shock
- in this Pre-Show match involving all non-Hollywood talent, Adam Cole appeared to have Kevin Steen put away via his FLORIDA KEY until Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team suddenly appeared to make a distraction to deny Future Shock the apparent victory as Steen and Generico proceeded to regain the momentum and win when Generico pinned Cole after a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!
Match #1: Mikey O'Shea won the Sin City Scramble
- Manimal and Pinky were the two wrestlers to start this match
- no eliminations occurred and the next participant was The Hobo
- no eliminations occurred and the next participant was O'Shea.
- The Hobo (working with the Manimal) put away Pinky via STREET PREACHER
- O'Shea pinned the Hobo via an IRISH CAR BOMB
- next participant was Terex
- O'Shea pinned The Manimal after the Manimal missed a turnbuckle charge
- next participant was Cedric the Hitman
- O'Shea impressively pinned Terex via an IRISH CAR BOMB (roll of snake eyes against Terex's PIN.) At this point the Empire Ballroom was going nuts with chants of "O'Shea!, O'Shea!, O'Shea!, O'Shea!" and this brought out Percy Pringle III who from a distance proceeded to scout O'Shea while looking highly impressed.
- next participant was Johnny Yuma
- no eliminations that round and the next participant was Johnny Goodtime who immediately proceeded to fight with Yuma
- no eliminations that round and the next participant was Ryan Taylor
- O'Shea pinned Cedric the Hitman via his IRISH CAR BOMB
- Goodtime pinned Yuma after a TOP ROPE KNEEDROP
- next/final participant was Nick Madrid
- O'Shea pinned Ryan Taylor via an IRISH CAR BOMB
- Goodtime pinned Madrid via a TOP ROPE KNEE DROP
- O'Shea pinned Goodtime via his IRISH CAR BOMB to win the Sin City Scramble!
- O'Shea, who definitely brought his wrecking balls with him today by making 6 of the 9 eliminations in this match, receives a future shot at the ROV TV Championship as a result of winning this match as previously stipulated.
- Pringle III then entered the ring to congratulate O'Shea and offer him a spot with Natural Selection. O'Shea said he would consider it and then left the ring.
Match #2: Willie Mack defeated James "Main Event" Morgan
- before this match started, Morgan said "I will make this quick tonight so my opponent can get to the buffets before they close" which produced a loud chorus of boos from the crowd.
- but then, as the bell rang, Mack surprised Morgan with a hard chop to chest followed immediately with a CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB to win in just 2 moves!
- afterward, Mack told Morgan "Thanks for making this quick."
Match #3: Joey Ryan defeated vOodOo kAos (managed by Rixelplix)
- Ryan won this match via a MUSTACHE RIDE
Match #4: PPrAy defeated the Young Bucks
- PPrAy got the impressive victory in this battle of top SoCal tag teams when Pretty Peter Avalon pinned Nick Jackson via MARTI-KNEES
Backstage: Veda Scott interviews WGTT
- Scott asks WGTT why they interfered in the pre-show match earlier tonight and Shelton Benjamin responds that they wanted to send a message to their enemies Future Shock that, despite what happened at High Rollers, they are not friends and proceeds with Charlie Haas to walk to the ring for their match.
Match #5: Westling's Greatest Tag Team defeated the Tribe
- the Tribe were whipping WGTT (literally as Navajo Warrior was using his leather strap at one point on Haas all around the outside of the ring) and controlled the vast majority of the action but WGTT stole the victory when Haas got away with smashing Navajo Warrior in the face with a steel chair and Benjamin immediately hit PAY DIRT to pin Navajo Warrior while holding Navajo Warrior's tights for extra leverage without the referee noticing during the 3 count as the #1 contender (WGTT) to the ROV Tag Team Championship got away with one tonight.
Intermission. Second Half posted next.

- a really good match which ended with Pearce getting away with giving Danielson a JUMPING PILEDRIVER right on top of the Book of Truth.
- as a result, Pearce regains the ROV TV Championship and is now the first 2 time champion of any title in ROV History!
Match #8: Natural Selection (Shaun Ricker and Brian Cage, both accompanied by manager Percy Pringle III) defeated ROV Tag Team Champions the Brisoces in a non-title match
- this match at one point appeared over in favor of the Briscoes when Mark Briscoe had Ricker pinned after a DOOMSDAY DEVICE until suddenly Mikey O'Shea stunned everyone by interfering on behalf of Natural Selection while Pringle III distracted the referee. O'Shea's interference allowed Natural Selection to recover and the match ended when Cage pinned Mark Briscoe via WEAPON X.
- as a result, it appears O'Shea has indeed accepted Pringle III's offer to join Natural Selection whose victory tonight has earned them a future tag title shot as previously stipulated for this match.
- afterward, Percy III said that with Natural Selection's guaranteed upcoming tag title shot and with O'Sheas's guaranteed upcoming ROV TV title shot (as a result of O'Shea winning the Sin City Scramble earlier tonight,) Natural Selection is about to give him a true new Pringle Dynasty!

Planet Hollywood was a real solid show, Vegas, and a nice concept using the Hollywood talent that way. I also like that they have been signed to ROV deals which should make for some interesting bouts coming up. Scorpio Sky got a huge non-title win over Roderick Strong but now he will have to survive a bout with Michael Elgin. His recent winning run could be in jeapordy against Elgin. It was also cool to see Mikey O'Shea join Natural Selection giving Percy Pringle III a stronger stable. Looking forward to more action.
