Laughter7 Face Two Major Challenges, The Rainmaker takes on the Generic Luchador, Mike Mondo faces a HUGE test and a Unity Rematch will go down in Fall River!:
On our last DVD, Nigel McGuinness announced the Dream Tag Team Main Event of The American Wolves vs. Bryan Danielson and Fit Finlay. Richards has asked for a match with Danielson ever since Bryan battered Richards' protege, Kyle O'Reilly, in a match earlier this year. Richards says that Danielson was a guy who taught him what Ring of Honor is all about, and Davey's going to remind Bryan of those lessons in Fall River.
Laughter7 have been in Ring of Honor for nearly a year and to date have never been beaten, or even looked human. They defeated The Briscoes for the Tag Team Championship at Under Attack in Detroit and since then have smashed through several challenging teams since that time. After the match with Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team at Survival of the Fittest III, Shibata and Sakuraba continued the assault, prompting Dem Boys to make the save. Jay issued a challenge to Laughter 7 and Nigel McGuinness decided that Jay and Mark would get their shot...at the same time as Haas and Benjamin!
When we contacted Laughter7, we were told by their representative that they would not be commenting on the situation and that Tamura, Sakuraba and Shibata were not the only members of this contingent of Japanese wrestlers turned MMA fighters. The representative promised that there would be more and that "traditional wrestling" would take over Ring of Honor!
Also announced is a rematch from two years ago as ROH and Chikara paired together to present "Unity". On that night, Michael Elgin and Claudio Castagnoli did battle for the very first time and in Fall River, they look to tear the house down yet again!
Kazuchika Okada suffered his first loss in ROH at Survival of the Fittest, but not before eliminating three men. Okada says this is a minor setback and while he will deal with Samoa Joe at a later time, he is focused on defeating El Generico at Best in the World. Okada also issued a challenge to Joe, saying Joe could not defeat him in a singles match.
The last match we have to announce today is Samoa Joe vs. Mike Mondo. Mondo has been semi-regular in ROH for several months and is looking to make his return to the regular roster in huge fashion as he takes on the winner of Survival of the Fittest III. Can Mondo stop the Samoan Submission Machine?
Card #24: "Best in the World": Fall River, MA: Tag Team Dream Main Event: The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards vs. Bryan Danielson and Fit Finlay Elimination Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe Kazuchika Okada vs. El Generico Unity Rematch: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Michael Elgin Samoa Joe vs. Mike Mondo

Kiyoshi Tamura finally gets the competition he asked for, plus three other big matches round out our debut in Fall River!
Since he came into Ring of Honor just two shows ago, Kiyoshi Tamura has made it known that he doesn't think very much of the Ring of Honor roster. Tamura says he was 'insulted' by ROH matching him against Jay Lethal and Tommaso Ciampa. Well, one man has stepped forward and in as obnoxious a way as possible has accepted the challenge.
That man, is the first ROH World Champion, Roderick Strong.
"Who does this guy think he is?", Roddy said in a phone call with ROH officials earlier today. "He thinks he's better than I am? Put me in the ring with him. I'll shut him up."
And with that, the match was made. Tamura's camp was unavailable for comment at this time.
Also added to the show in Fall River is a big match between Kyle O'Reilly and Homicide. These two are desperately trying to get momentum on their side and a win here would get them back on the winning track. In a similar match, Adam Cole will take on Tommaso Ciampa.
Rounding out the card is Kevin Steen vs. Jay Lethal. It's no secret to anyone in the loop that Steen wants another match with El Generico, and vice versa. Steen says he's 'pissed off' that ROH officials have put him in the ring with someone who isn't Generico, and is going to show Jay Lethal no mercy in Fall River.
And with that, the card is set! We have a huge dream tag team main event, Laughter7 face their toughest test, or tests, yet, Okada takes on Generico, Elgin vs. Castagnoli and so much more this weekend in Fall River!
Card #24: "Best in the World": Fall River, MA: Tag Team Dream Main Event: The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards vs. Bryan Danielson and Fit Finlay Elimination Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe Kazuchika Okada vs. El Generico Unity Rematch: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Michael Elgin Samoa Joe vs. Mike Mondo Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Roderick Strong with Truth Martini Kevin Steen vs. Jay Lethal Tommaso Ciampa vs. Adam Cole Homicide vs. Kyle O'Reilly
Card #30: "Final Battle III": Manhattan, NY (iPPV) ROH World Championship: Champion (ch) vs. Samoa Joe

Card #24: "Best in the World": Fall River, MA:
[PRESHOW] Bryan Danielson is shown in the ring before anyone else has arrived to the building. Danielson says that Richards doesn't understand what ROH is really about. He says that Davey defended a protege that cast him aside in favor of his own personal gain and that's something that Bryan did not teach Davey. Bryan says that the beating he gave O'Reilly was done as both a lesson for O'Reilly and to wake Davey up from this complacent mindset of his. Danielson says that he's the best wrestler in the world, not Davey and tonight Bryan will get one step closer to the ROH World Championship.
1.) Kevin Steen beat Jay Lethal in 7:11 with F-Cinq. [**]
[POST MATCH] El Generico attacks Steen and the two brawl until SCUM come out to attack Generico. Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander returned to ROH, helping Generico even up the odds. Generico kept screaming "STEEN!" until officials were able to get everyone to the back and the situation diffused.
2.) Kyle O'Reilly beat Homicide in 13:50 with the Guillotine Choke. [***] 3.) Adam Cole beat Tommaso Ciampa in 5:10 with the Florida Key. [**1/2] 4.) Samoa Joe beat Mike Mondo in 6:13 with the Muscle Buster. [**]
[BACKSTAGE] A bloody Kevin Steen says he doesn't feel like talking to anyone but El Generico and that the next thing he will say to Generico is, "Die, you motherf--ker!"
5.) Unity Rematch: Michael Elgin beat Claudio Castagnoli in 19:42 with the Elgin Bomb. [***3/4]
[INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness announces that at Death Before Dishonor III in Dearborn, MI, Kevin Steen and El Generico will compete in two Pick Your Poison matches. The two will pick the other wrestler's opponent and the opponents will not be announced prior to the event.
6.) Kiyoshi Tamura beat Roderick Strong with Truth Martini in 10:00 with an armbar. [***1/2] 7.) Kazuchika Okada beat El Generico in 17:50 with Red Ink. [****]
[POST MATCH] Okada challenged Samoa Joe to a match at Death Before Dishonor III. Joe made his way to the ring and accepted. [VTR] A recap of Laughter7 defeating WGTT in Atlanta and the Briscoes in Detroit plays before the next match.
8.) Elimination Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) beat Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin and Jay and Mark Briscoe in 26:19, last eliminating the Briscoes when Shibata used the PK on Mark Briscoe. [***]
[POST MATCH] Shibata hits Mark with another PK but Jay clears the ring with a chair! Kiyoshi Tamura attacks Jay from behind and locks in a single leg crab. Laughter7 rush the ring again and attacked Mark Briscoe. From the back, a man in a suit made his way to the ring with a microphone in hand. He announced himself as Nobuhiko Takada and said that the three men in the ring with him are representatives of an initiative to revive what he called "real professional wrestling". Takada says that they will take over Ring of Honor. [VTR] From a shower, Rhett Titus and Willie Mack send a video message to the ROH fans that they are taking care of business out in NWA Hollywood and that they will be returning to ROH to challenge Laughter7 for the tag titles. Olivia, the former manager of the Tribe, walks into the shower as we go back to live action.
9.) Tag Team Dream Main Event: Bryan Danielson and Fit Finlay beat The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards in 34:15 via ref stoppage when Edwards was rendered unconscious by Danielson's elbow strikes. [****1/4]
[POST MATCH] Richards shoves Bryan off of Edwards and the two get into a shoving contest which leads to both men being separated, with Richards remaining in the ring. Richards gets a microphone and says if Bryan wants a shot at the belt so bad, he can have one in Dearborn! Richards promises that he'll behead the American Dragon and avenge his protege and his tag partner.
[POST SHOW] We see Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole in the parking lot. Both are talking about how they won their matches tonight and that both are former Pure Wrestling Champions. Cole suggests that maybe, just maybe, they should put their differences aside and reform Future Shock. O'Reilly smiles and says, "Sounds good to me, bro." The two walk away to end the DVD.

Richards vs. Danielson signed, Okada gets a second shot at Joe, Laughter7 prepare to go All Night and Future Shock reunites in Dearborn!
It's already looking like a stacked card for our return to Dearborn. At the end of our last show, Bryan Danielson elbowed "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards into submission and won the Dream Tag Team Main Event over The American Wolves. Danielson's relentless assault harkened back to the way he pummeled Kyle O'Reilly back at the Second Anniversary Show. If you recall, that beating angered O'Reilly's former mentor, Davey Richards.
Richards wasn't merely angered by what Danielson did to Edwards, Richards was pissed off! Richards granted Danielson his second opportunity at the ROH World Championship and promised to leave with the American Dragon's head! Many experts have argued that Danielson is the biggest test Richards has faced since becoming Ring of Honor World Champion, and you would be hard pressed to argue the contrary. Richards has been champion for a year and a half, can Danielson capitalize on the momentum he gained in Fall River?
Kazuchika Okada had the most dominant performance ever in a Survival of the Fittest tournament. He won his first round match over Kyle O'Reilly handily with the Rainmaker. He then went on to eliminate THREE men in the final match before finally losing to the eventual winner in Samoa Joe. Okada was angered by this, his first loss in Ring of Honor and has vowed to right what he sees as a wrong in Dearborn!
"Joe got lucky. It was a 51 minute match, I had a 15 minute match earlier. I eliminated three men in the final, he will not beat me again", said Okada to ROHWrestling.com. "I'm the best wrestler in Ring of Honor, he will find that out in Dearborn."
Can Joe stop the Rainmaker a second time? We'll find out in Dearborn!
Laughter7 debuted in Ring of Honor back at Honor Takes Center Stage, but in their second match in ROH at "Guerrilla Warfare" in Reseda, CA, they faced The All Night Express. On that night, Rhett Titus and Willie Mack would be unsuccessful in their attempt to stop the Japanese legends and it's a recurring theme in Laughter7's matches. ANX have been out in California for much of the year wrestling for NWA Hollywood and they will attempt to stop the reigning Tag Team Champions in Dearborn!
Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole were a formidable tag team until the two ultimately decided to part ways. At the end of "Best in the World" the pair, fresh off of a pair of victories, agreed to reunite the team. They came to ROH looking for the biggest test possible and at Death Before Dishonor III they will take on Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli---The Kings of Wrestling!
These are just four of the matches announced for what's sure to be a huge show when we return to Dearborn. Also, Kevin Steen and El Generico will pick their Poison!
Card #25: "Death Before Dishonor III: Richards vs. Danielson": Dearborn, MI: ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Bryan Danielson ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. The All Night Express Rhett Titus and Willie Mack Survival of the Fittest Finals Rematch: Kazuchika Okada vs. Samoa Joe The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli vs. Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole Pick Your Poison - Steen Chooses Generico's Opponent: El Generico vs. TBA Pick Your Poison - Generico Chooses Steen's Opponent: Kevin Steen vs. TBA

"Die Hard" is put to the test and Kiyoshi Tamura faces an "Unbreakable" task in Dearborn!
We're just days away from our return to Dearborn and the card has been finalized with three gigantic matches! First up, as a follow-up to our "Best in the World" main event, "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards will defend his ROH Pure Wrestling Championship against Dave "Fit" Finlay! Edwards and Finlay had many heated exchanges last time out in Fall River, can "Die Hard" topple a legend in Dearborn?
Much like his apparent teammates Laughter7, Kiyoshi Tamura has handily defeated everyone since his debut in Ring of Honor. Tamura feels disrespected by the apparent lack of quality in competition and has issued open challenge after open challenge. In Dearborn, he faces one of the most dangerous men in ROH as he takes on "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! Can Tamura, who is known for defeating the likes of Vader and Gary Albright, deal with Elgin's strength?
And rounding out the card is a special singles match with Roderick Strong and Shelton Benjamin! You get these three matches, plus Davey Richards vs. Bryan Danielson, Laughter7 takes on the All Night Express, Kazuchika Okada takes on Samoa Joe in a Survival of the Fittest finals rematch and The Kings of Wrestling face the reunited Future Shock in Dearborn!
Card #25: "Death Before Dishonor III: Richards vs. Danielson": Dearborn, MI: ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Bryan Danielson ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) vs. Fit Finlay ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. The All Night Express Rhett Titus and Willie Mack Survival of the Fittest Finals Rematch: Kazuchika Okada vs. Samoa Joe The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli vs. Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole Pick Your Poison - Steen Chooses Generico's Opponent: El Generico vs. TBA Pick Your Poison - Generico Chooses Steen's Opponent: Kevin Steen vs. TBA Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Michael Elgin Roderick Strong with Truth Martini vs. Shelton Benjamin

Card #25: "Death Before Dishonor III: Richards vs. Danielson": Dearborn, MI:
[PRESHOW] Bryan Danielson is in the locker room before the show. He says that tonight's match with Davey Richards goes back to the very first Glory By Honor when Richards said after he beats Roderick Strong at Final Battle, Danielson can have a title match whenever he wants. Danielson says that was a year and a half ago and since then he's asked on numerous occasions, but has received nothing in return. Bryan says that he smashed Davey's protege and knocked out Davey's tag partner and tonight, Davey Richards is going to get his fu--ing head kicked in.
1.) Pick Your Poison - Generico Chooses Steen's Opponent: Kevin Steen beat Jay Briscoe in 12:12 with the Package Piledriver. [**3/4] 2.) Roderick Strong with Truth Martini beat Shelton Benjamin in 6:09 with the Sick Kick. [**] 3.) Pick Your Poison - Steen Chooses Generico's Opponent: Jimmy Jacobs beat El Generico via countout at 17:00 when Steen used a powerbomb on the floor on Generico while Steve Corino distracted the ref. [***]
[BACKSTAGE] Michael Elgin says that tonight, Kiyoshi Tamura will find out exactly what level the competition is really at here in Ring of Honor. Elgin says he won't break, he won't tap out and he won't give into Tamura. Elgin tells Tamura that when they said God created all men equal...they were wrong!
4.) Kiyoshi Tamura beat Michael Elgin in 8:17 with an armbar. [***]
[BACKSTAGE] Nigel McGuinness is seen talking with Nobuhiko Takada. Nigel says that what Laughter7 and Tamura did after the tag title match in Fall River was inexcusable. Takada apologizes but says he felt his contingent needed to make a strong impact, as directed by the leader. Nigel says he wants to know who's behind this faction and Takada says in time, everyone will know the truth. [VTR] We see a recap of the Edwards/Finlay interactions from Best in the World.
5.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) beat Fit Finlay in 19:05 with Die Hard after Finlay used all three rope breaks, Edwards used two. [***1/2] 6.) Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole beat The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli in 14:37 when Cole used the Panama Sunrise on Hero. [****] 7.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) beat The All Night Express Rhett Titus and Willie Mack in 8:13 via TKO when Shibata used the PK on Willie Mack. [**1/4]
[INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is in his office and says that this has been a tremendous show thus far and he doesn't want to take up too much of your time but he wanted to announce that at the next card in Milwaukee, Adam Cole of Future Shock will take on "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada in a rematch from the "No Turning Back" event earlier this year in Dayton.
8.) Survival of the Fittest Finals Rematch: Kazuchika Okada beat Samoa Joe in 21:59 with the Rainmaker. [****1/2] 9.) ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Bryan Danielson went to a no contest at 27:16 when Laughter7 and Kiyoshi Tamura interfered. [****]
[POST MATCH] Nobuhiko Takada comes in and calls off the assault. Bryan Danielson floors Richards and leaves with the ROH World Championship as Takada directs his group to restart the attack. This brings out Kyle O'Reilly, Samoa Joe and Eddie Edwards which starts an eight man brawl in the ring. On the ramp, Adam Cole superkicks Danielson and retrieves the World Title. After officials separated the wrestlers, Cole returned the title to Davey but told him the title was his. Davey challenged Takada to a match. Takada smiled and left to end the DVD.

An Eight Man War Headlines Our Wisconsin Debut!
At the end of Death Before Dishonor III, an eight man brawl erupted between some of ROH's top talent and the Nobuhiko Takada-led group of Japanese wrestlers-turned-MMA-fighters-turned-wrestlers. This was followed by Davey Richards issuing a challenge to Takada and company which was promptly accepted by the group's leader, who has still not been named.
The match will be an eight man tag team dream match as Nobuhiko Takada is joined by Kiyoshi Tamura and the ROH World Tag Team Champions Laughter7 to take on ROH World Champion Davey Richards, ROH Pure Wrestling Champion Eddie Edwards, Survival of the Fittest III Winner Samoa Joe and former ROH Pure Wrestling Champion Kyle O'Reilly. The styles seem to match up perfectly, as all eight men are proficient in 'shoot style' wrestling, which Takada and Tamura popularized in the 1990s.
"You guys say you're gonna bring real wrestling to ROH, huh? We ARE real wrestling. You can do your 1990s UWfi bullshit all day, boys, but you're coming to fight the best athletes in the world", Richards said in a conference call today.
Takada, on the other hand, had this to say:
"Davey Richards is nothing more than a pretender. He calls himself a wolf, but really he is a mere lamb being lead to the slaughter. We will prove this in Milwaukee."
Also on the card is a huge rematch from our "No Turning Back" event earlier this year in Dayton, Ohio as Adam Cole takes on "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. This is a match of huge importance for Cole, who needs to continue his winning ways following the Future Shock reunion at Death Before Dishonor III. For Okada, he is coming off the biggest win of his ROH career, defeating Samoa Joe in a classic match at Death Before Dishonor.
The third match we have to announce today is Kevin Steen taking on Bryan Danielson. Danielson is demanding a rematch with Davey Richards, and Steen is saying he should get another shot at the champion. These two have a lot to prove in Milwaukee and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top!
We'll have these three matches plus much more as ROH debuts in Milwaukee for All Out War!
Card #26: "All Out War": Milwaukee, WI: Eight Man Tag Team Dream Match: Nobuhiko Takada , Kiyoshi Tamura and Laughter7 of Kazushi Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata vs. Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Kyle O'Reilly and Samoa Joe No Turning Back Rematch: Kazuchika Okada vs. Adam Cole Bryan Danielson vs. Kevin Steen

Four big matches round out our Milwaukee Debut!
We've already reported on the huge Eight Man War that will take place in Milwaukee, but the rest of the card has been finalized for our Wisconsin debut! First up, El Generico's war with SCUM goes back to the very first Ring of Honor event two years ago. Since then, Generico, occasionally with backup, has fought the likes of Corino, Jacobs and most importantly Steen. Generico has pleaded with ROH management to give him Steen, but Steen is throwing up roadblocks. He says Generico, in order to a get a match, now has to beat Steve Corino in Milwaukee!
Fellow SCUM member Jimmy Jacobs also won't be having an easy night, as he will go one-on-one with Jay Briscoe! Briscoe was recently Kevin Steen's opponent in the Pick Your Poison series, can Jay help El Generico put down Steen's minions en route to the inevitable singles match?
Much to the shock of everyone in ROH, Roderick Strong has been very vocal about wanting to be in a big match situation in ROH. Roderick was the first ROH World Champion and has issued a challenge to every champion we have, but ROH management wants to see Strong pick up some more momentum. That said, in Milwaukee he will go toe-to-toe with Mark Briscoe in a special request match!
Rounding out the card is a big three-way tag match as the Batiri make their ROH debut against The All Night Express and Tomasso Ciampa and Mike Mondo! We have these four matches, plus Kazuchika Okada takes on Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson takes on Kevin Steen and an eight man WAR main events our debut in Wisconsin!
Card #26: "All Out War": Milwaukee, WI: Eight Man Tag Team Dream Match: Nobuhiko Takada , Kiyoshi Tamura and Laughter7 of Kazushi Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata vs. Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Kyle O'Reilly and Samoa Joe No Turning Back Rematch: Kazuchika Okada vs. Adam Cole Bryan Danielson vs. Kevin Steen El Generico vs. Steve Corino Jimmy Jacobs vs. Jay Briscoe Roderick Strong with Truth Martini vs. Mark Briscoe The Batiri of Obaryion and Kodama vs. The All Night Express of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack vs. Tommaso Ciampa and Mike Mondo
