[PRESHOW] Kevin Steen and SCUM are in the basement of the building. Steen says that he wants to kill Generico, but killing him is too easy. Generico has to earn another match with Steen by beating Steve Corino tonight. Steen laughs at Jay Briscoe, telling him to go back to the chicken farm and stay out of his business. Steen says that tonight, he beats Bryan Danielson to earn a title shot and that the end of ROH begins when he becomes World Champion.
1.) The Batiri of Obaryion and Kodama beat The All Night Express of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack and Tommaso Ciampa and Mike Mondo in 11:11 when Kodama used the Flying DDT on Mondo after Ciampa turned on him. [**] 2.) Jay Briscoe beat Jimmy Jacobs in 5:28 with the Jay Driller. [**] 3.) Steve Corino beat El Generico in 13:44 with a rollup after Steen hit Generico with the ring bell. [***]
[RECAP VIDEO] A video of Roderick Strong winning the ROH World Championship at Survival of the Fittest is shown. [BACKSTAGE] Roderick Strong and Truth Martini are in the locker room and Roderick says that he feels screwed over by ROH. Roddy notes that he was World Champion for almost a year and since then has nothing to show for it except for one shot at the ROH World Championship. Strong says that he wants a shot at the World Championship and he'll do whatever it takes to get it and it starts tonight by breaking Mark Briscoe's back.
4.) Roderick Strong with Truth Martini beat Mark Briscoe in 7:49 with the Sick Kick. [**1/2] 5.) Bryan Danielson beat Kevin Steen in 16:02 with Cattle Mutilation. El Generico brawled with Steen and Adam Cole attacked Bryan Danielson after the match. [***]
[INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is shown at the gorilla position and with officials is trying to separate Steen and Generico while referees and wrestlers are trying to separate Cole and Danielson. Nigel announces that at Glory By Honor III, Jay Briscoe and El Generico will face Kevin Steen and Steve Corino in a steel cage match. [INTERMISSION] A video recapping Kazuchika Okada vs. Samoa Joe from Death Before Dishonor III plays. [INTERMISSION] Adam Cole is standing in the parking lot and says that tonight he gets another shot at Kazuchika Okada and while he views that as a golden opportunity, he wants another shot at Bryan Danielson. Cole adds Danielson has walked around ever since Glory By Honor acting like he can do what he wants and Cole says that Bryan has pissed off the wrong guys. Cole brings up Danielson smashing O'Reilly into unconsciousness not once, but twice. Adam says that he's going to take out Okada and then demanded that Nigel give him a match with Danielson at Glory By Honor in Chicago.
6.) No Turning Back Rematch: Adam Cole beat Kazuchika Okada in 19:53 with the Florida Key. [****1/4]
[RECAP VIDEO] We see a video recapping the dominance of Laughter7 and Kiyoshi Tamura in Ring of Honor. [BACKSTAGE] Davey Richards is shown by himself. He mentions that Team ROH is nowhere around him because everyone has their own method of preparation for this match. Davey says that Takada spit on ROH and all the fans when he said ROH wasn't real. Davey says tonight, Takada, Tamura, Shibata and Sakuraba were going to find out just how real Ring of Honor can be.
7.) Eight Man Tag Team Dream Match: Nobuhiko Takada , Kiyoshi Tamura and Laughter7 of Kazushi Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata beat Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Kyle O'Reilly and Samoa Joe in 31:12 when Takada used an armbar on Richards. Takada held up the ROH World Championship after the match. [****1/2]
[POST SHOW] Samoa Joe is shown outside the trainers room at the arena. He notes that Davey Richards arm was torn to pieces tonight by Kiyoshi Tamura and Nobuhiko Takada and that Davey is screaming about wanting a fight with Takada. Joe says that he's probably gonna get what he wants, but what Joe wants is Kiyoshi Tamura in the ring in Chicago at Glory By Honor III. Joe challenges Tamura to the Fight of the Century and walks off camera as the DVD comes to a close.

The Fight of the Century is Signed, SCUM takes on Generico and Briscoe in a cage, Cole finally gets Danielson and Davey Richards looks to behead Takada in Chicago!
"All Out War" was arguably the most eventful event in the history of Ring of Honor. Never has so much happened on one ROH show that perfectly set the stage for the next show. This was truly a monumental event that has given us the biggest Double Main Event in company history!
At "All Out War" Davey Richards suffered his first loss since "Death Before Dishonor II". Davey went well over a year without taking a fall to anyone, until Nobuhiko Takada nearly broke Richards' arm with the armbar after nearly a half an hour of that arm being targeted by Kiyoshi Tamura and Takada himself. During Samoa Joe's post-show interview, Richards could be heard screaming about wanting a one-on-one match with Takada. Takada accepted, but on one condition: The ROH World Championship must be on the line.
Richards, being a fighting champion, accepted immediately and within 15 minutes of being faxed the contract had signed on for the match. To Richards, this is bigger than a Title match, this is personal. Richards had this to say about the match:
"You wanna try to break my arm? You think you're some badass shooter, Takada? I remember Mark Coleman laying down for you in PRIDE. I remember your boy Tamura accidentally knocking you out when you were supposed to win. Takada, you're nothing like the other guys you run with. You're a coward, and I'm gonna expose that in Chicago. The hunt is ON."
Samoa Joe and Kiyoshi Tamura had many heated exchanges at All Out War which lead to Samoa Joe issuing a challenge to Tamura for the Fight of the Century in Chicago. This challenge took a little longer to be accepted, taking almost four days before the leader of this contingent of Japanese legends called ROH officials to agree to the match, but did not offer comment. Joe has been preparing for this match ever since All Out War, and it will truly be a fight come Glory By Honor III.
As we've noted on a number of occasions, El Generico and Kevin Steen's feud has spanned nearly every Ring of Honor event to date, their hatred for one another seemingly knowing no bounds. Steen tried to make Generico 'earn' another match with him, but that plan backfired as Nigel McGuinness announced a major match for Glory By Honor III. It will be Jay Briscoe and El Generico vs. Kevin Steen and Steve Corino inside of a steel cage! Will Generico and Steen finally put the feud to rest in Chicago?
Bryan Danielson has seemingly been unraveling ever since his first shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship. Since then, he has knocked out Kyle O'Reilly twice, knocked out Eddie Edwards, as well as disrespected nearly everyone in ROH. Adam Cole can identify with that last part, he spent most of last year and this year being the most arrogant man in Ring of Honor but Cole takes issue with Danielson's attitude. Cole was a victim of Danielson's disrespect at Survival of the Fittest III and when Danielson stole the ROH World Championship, Cole was the one to retrieve it and return it to Davey Richards.
Adam Cole says he will take out the American Dragon in Chicago, will the Panama City Playboy have what it takes on that night to get it done? We'll find out in Chicago as ROH presents the Fight of the Century!
Card #27: "Glory By Honor III: Fight of the Century ": Chicago, IL: Double Main Event II - The Fight of the Century: Samoa Joe vs. Kiyoshi Tamura Double Main Event I - ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Nobuhiko Takada Steel Cage Match: El Generico and Jay Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen and Steve Corino Grudge Match: Bryan Danielson vs. Adam Cole

Laughter7 in Singles Competition for the first time in ROH, Okada faces the Notorious 187 and Die Hard goes to the Edge of Sanity in Chicago!
Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba have dominated Ring of Honor since their debut a year ago, but to this point have only done so in tag team competition. In Chicago at Glory By Honor III, Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba will be in singles competition for the first time since their debut in Ring of Honor!
Shibata will take on fellow heavy hitter Roderick Strong. Strong knows full well the power this contingent of shooters brings, falling victim to Kiyoshi Tamura's armbar at "Best in the World". Roderick also understands that with Shibata, submissions aren't the main concern, but rather the devastating PK, or Penalty Kick, that has ended many a match not only in ROH but in Shibata's home country of Japan.
As for Sakuraba, the Japanese MMA legend requested a match with Kyle O'Reilly. Sakuraba explained that he sees great potential in O'Reilly and wants to test him more than anything in Chicago. For O'Reilly, this is his defining moment. Kyle had this to say to ROHWrestling.com:
"Sakuraba is a legend, okay? He's one of the greatest fighters to ever walk the planet and he's damn sure one of the best wrestlers of all time. In Chicago, it's my time to shine and I will do just that by defeating 'The Gracie Hunter' in convincing fashion."
Eddie Edwards won the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship from his former protege Adam Cole at Final Battle II and since then has faced everyone from Fit Finlay to Kyle O'Reilly to Homicide in his quest to prove that he is the best pure wrestler in the world. At Glory BY Honor III, he's faced with a most unusual task when Die Hard meets Delirious! Don't let the mask and jumbled speech fool you, beneath the seemingly unwound and insane actions of Delirious lies an incredibly intelligent wrestler. Edwards has a huge task in front of him in defeating Delirious, can he take down the man from the Edge of Sanity?
Kazuchika Okada suffered another setback at All Out War as he lost to Adam Cole, bringing their series to 1-1. Okada has said that Cole is one of the best in the world and on any night, anyone can win. ROH management listened to Okada's calls to find him the best competition possible and in Chicago, Okada will take on "The Notorious 187" Homicide! The two met in the finals of Survival of the Fittest where Homicide was eliminated by the Rainmaker. Homicide hasn't been seen in ROH since "Best in the World" as he's been on a tear in NWA Hollywood. With this huge surge of momentum, Homicide may just be the odds on favorite in Chicago!
Also, Tommaso Ciampa takes on Mike Mondo and Michael Elgin faces Mike Bennett this weekend in Chicago!
Card #27: "Glory By Honor III: Fight of the Century ": Chicago, IL: Double Main Event II - The Fight of the Century: Samoa Joe vs. Kiyoshi Tamura Double Main Event I - ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Nobuhiko Takada Steel Cage Match: El Generico and Jay Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen and Steve Corino Grudge Match: Bryan Danielson vs. Adam Cole ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) vs. Delirious Homicide vs. Kazuchika Okada Katsuyori Shibata vs. Roderick Strong with Truth Martini Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Kyle O'Reilly Tommaso Ciampa vs. Mike Mondo Michael Elgin vs. Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob

[INTERMISSION] Kazuchika Okada talks about his stint in ROH, focusing mainly on the fact he had the most dominant performance in Survival of the Fittest history and followed it up by beating the winner of the tournament. ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) beat Delirious in 12:20 with Die Hard. Both men used two rope breaks. [**1/2] 8.) Kazuchika Okada beat Homicide in 17:04 with the Rainmaker. [***1/2]

9.) Double Main Event I - ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) beat Nobuhiko Takada in 27:15 with the DR Driver. [****1/4]
[POST MATCH] Davey gets a microphone and tells Takada that he picked the wrong wolf to start a fight with, but he respects Takada and offers a handshake. Before Takada accepts, Lou Thesz walks out and says something to Takada, causing Takada to spit at Richards and leave the ring.

[POST MATCH] Tamura slaps Joe in the face when Joe offered a handshake. As Tamura is walking to the back, he's challenged to a match in Louisville by Bryan Danielson. Tamura accepts, slaps Danielson in the face and walks away. [POST SHOW] Eddie Edwards says that tonight was one of the toughest matches of his career, but he came out on top because he was the superior wrestler. Michael Elgin approaches and challenges Eddie for the Pure Title and Eddie agrees. [POST SHOW] Roderick Strong catches Nigel as Nigel is leaving. Strong says that he beat Shibata and deserves a title shot and Nigel agrees, saying that Strong can face the winner of Adam Cole and Davey Richards in Fort Lauderdale. Roderick smiles and thanks Nigel and the two shake hands to end the DVD.

The Panama City Playboy looks to finally dethrone The Wolf, Tamura vs. Danielson signed, Laughter7 take on their most diverse threat yet and Steen and Generico look to tear each other apart in Louisville!
Fourteen cards ago, at Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies, Adam Cole faced Davey Richards and was at the time, the only man to survive a World Championship match with the champion. Cole didn't fight Richards to a no contest, as was the case with Bryan Danielson, Cole lasted an hour with Richards which is a virtually unfathomable feat. After defeating Kazuchika Okada and Bryan Danielson, Cole petitioned Nigel McGuinness for another shot at Richards and he will get just that in Louisville! Richards has held the championship for nearly two years and as of late has had some particularly grueling matches, can Cole capitalize on what many perceive as a weakened champion?
Laughter7 have dominated ROH for over a year now, and have been World Tag Team Champions for nearly a year. They were originally scheduled to defend the championships against the Briscoes, but an injury to Jay Briscoe forced matchmaker Nigel McGuinness to go all the way to Mexico City to find challengers, and he did just that by signing Dr. Wagner Jr. and Silver King! These two are real-life brothers and amongst the greatest luchadores of all time. They're also radically different than anyone Laughter7 has faced to this point. Can they exploit the Champions' inexperience with luchadores and take the gold?
For almost all of the three years ROH has been around, we've watched the hatred between Kevin Steen and El Generico grow out of control. Nigel McGuinness has signed a Best of 3 Series with these two men, starting in Louisville in a Louisville Street Fight! Who will leave with the first victory in a series that has the potential to be the most violent series of its kind in the history of wrestling?
The similarities between Kiyoshi Tamura and Bryan Danielson are more than you may think at first glance. Both are tremendous wrestlers, both are very good strikers and both seem to have zero respect for anyone here in Ring of Honor. After Tamura suffered his first loss in singles competition to Samoa Joe, Danielson issued a challenge which was met with a slap to the face. The two will meet in Louisville, but the question is which master of the mat will emerge with the victory?
Card #28: "Bluegrass Brawl": Louisville, KY: ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Adam Cole ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. and Silver King Louisville Street Fight: El Generico vs. Kevin Steen Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Bryan Danielson

Card #28: "Bluegrass Brawl": Louisville, KY:[RECAP] We're shown clips of the fantastic one-hour time limit draw between Davey Richards and Adam Cole at Card #14 Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies. [PRESHOW] Adam Cole is in the locker room and he says tonight, he will beat Davey Richards to become the third ROH World Champion. Cole mentions that he had Davey beaten when the time expired last time and that won't be the case tonight. He says that while Davey has been champion for the past eighteen shows, he's been losing steam more and more with each passing main event. With each passing epic match, Davey's weakening more and more and tonight, the Panama City Playboy takes the World Championship. 1.) Louisville Street Fight: Kevin Steen beat El Generico in 16:04 with the Package Piledriver. SCUM of Corino and Jacobs attacked Generico after the match. [***1/2] 2.) Michael Elgin beat Tommaso Ciampa in 7:11 with the Elgin Bomb. [**] 3.) Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob beat Jay Lethal in 9:19 with the Box Office Smash. [***] [BACKSTAGE] Kyle O'Reilly walks past the camera, but turns around long enough to say that tonight he will show Mike Mondo why you don't chase the dragon. 4.) Kyle O'Reilly beat Mike Mondo in 3:15 with the Brainbuster. [***] 5.) Samoa Joe beat Homicide in 18:40 with the Muscle Buster. [***3/4] [POST MATCH] Nobuhiko Takada made his way to the ring and said that Samoa Joe is a great wrestler, but does not deserve to be a World Champion. Takada challenged Joe to a match in Fort Lauderdale to be contested under UWFi rules with Joe's title match at Final Battle on the line and says that if Joe is no coward, he will accept. Joe accepted and told Takada he's going to be put to sleep in Florida. [INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is approached by Future Shock. Adam Cole says that later tonight, he'll become the ROH World Champion but given how easy of a victory that will be, Future Shock are more interested in the Tag Team Championship. Nigel makes a match in Fort Lauderdale where if Future Shock can beat The All Night Express, regardless if Cole is World Champion or not, they'll challenge for the Tag Team Championship at Final Battle. Nigel also announced that the Briscoes will face Laughter7 in a No DQ match in Fort Lauderdale. [INTERMISSION] Kevin Steen is bloodied and in the parking lot. He says that tonight was the beginning of the end of Generico. Corino and Jacobs walk up and Steen asks why they attacked Generico after Steen beat him. Steen tells them to keep their noses out of this business because he can handle Generico just fine on his own. 6.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) beat Dr. Wagner Jr. and Silver King in 7:15 with Sakuraba used the Sakuraba Lock on Wagner. [***] [RECAP] We see Tamura slapping Bryan Danielson across the face before a video plays showing Tamura's dominance in singles competition in ROH. 7.) Kiyoshi Tamura beat Bryan Danielson in 19:41 with an armbar. [****1/4] 8.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) beat Mark Briscoe in 12:22 with Die Hard. Both men used two rope breaks. [***] [BACKSTAGE] Davey Richards is with Tony Kozina in the locker room. Davey says that what Adam said earlier is true, Davey's losing steam but you see it's because he's been champion for two years. Davey has beaten everyone they've put in front of him except for Bryan Danielson, and that match will happen again, and Adam Cole. Davey says Cole is one of the best wrestlers he's ever seen but tonight, Davey gets this chip off his shoulder and replaces it with Adam's head. 9.) ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Adam Cole went to a time limit draw at 60:00. [****] [POST MATCH] Roderick Strong attacks Davey Richards, hitting him with the End of Heartache and following it up with a Sick Kick. Roddy leaves with the belt to end the DVD.

The Richards-Strong trilogy comes to an end, Laughter7 and the Briscoes will end their rivalry, Samoa Joe lays it all on the line, Steen looks to end the best of 3 series early and Future Shock fight for a Tag Title shot in Florida!
Davey Richards and Roderick Strong, much like El Generico and Kevin Steen, have a rivalry that spans the entire existence of Ring of Honor. The two captained their own teams in the first show's main event, Roderick beat Richards to win the first Survival of the Fittest and the World Championship, Richards beat Strong to win the Championship at Final Battle and the feud has continued on since then. In Fort Lauderdale, the two will meet for perhaps the last time for the ROH World Championship with the winner guaranteed a spot headlining Final Battle. Who will headline the biggest show of the year as the World Champion?
Laughter7 have continued to dominate ROH and international competition, beating Dr. Wagner Jr. and Silver King at Bluegrass Brawl, but in Fort Lauderdale, they will face their originally scheduled opponents in a No Disqualification match as they take on DemBoys! Jay and Mark lost the championship to Laughter7 one year ago in Detroit, can Dem Boys advance to Final Battle as the two time Tag Team Champions?
Samoa Joe won a grueling Survival of the Fittest to earn a shot at the ROH World Championship, a shot he will take at Final Battle...or perhaps not, if Japanese legend Nobuhiko Takada has his way. Takada challenged Joe to a UWFi Rules match with Joe's Championship match on the line. UWFi rules are as follows: - A strict 30 minute time limit. - Match can be won by Submission, Knockout, or TKO. - Each man starts with 15 points. Points are deducted for knockdowns. If a man runs out of points, they have lost the match.
Can Joe overcome the odds in a match that is built for Takada?
The Best of Three series between Kevin Steen and El Generico will continue in Fort Lauderdale as the match will be contested with Falls Count Anywhere rules! Steen has told his fellow teammates in SCUM to stay out of his way when dealing with Generico. Does this give Generico an advantage, having to no longer look over his shoulder?
Future Shock reunited with a huge victory over Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli. Since then, Adam Cole defeated Kazuchika Okada and Bryan Danielson and lasted sixty minutes with Davey Richards once again while Kyle O'Reilly dominated Mike Mondo. The All Night Express returns from NWA Hollywood looking to gain a title shot at Final Battle, but can they stop Cole and O'Reilly's momentum? We'll find out in Florida!
Card #29: "Richards vs. Strong III": Fort Lauderdale, FL: ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Roderick Strong with Truth Martini No Disqualification Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe UWFi Rules, Samoa Joe's ROH World Championship Match at Final Battle on the line: Samoa Joe vs. Nobuhiko Takada Falls Count Anywhere in the State of Florida!: Kevin Steen vs. El Generico Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole vs. The All Night Express of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack

Danielson vs. Tamura II and The Prodigy Challenges Die Hard in Florida while a Legend Awaits the Winner in Manhattan!
At our last show, Kiyoshi Tamura rebounded from his huge loss to Samoa Joe by defeating Bryan Danielson in what was described by fans in attendance as a technical classic. Danielson, feeling that his performance wasn't up to the standards he's set for himself, asked for a rematch with Tamura. The call came back from Lou Thesz today and the match has been made official! In Fort Lauderdale, it's Tamura vs. Danielson II...in a UWFi Rules Match! Can Danielson, alongside Joe, overcome two Japanese legends in their own match type?
Mike Bennett has split a lot of his recent time between NWA Hollywood, CZW and Japan. Through these excursions, he's built a considerable amount of momentum which he added to at Bluegrass Brawl by defeating Jay Lethal. The Boston native has made it clear to ROH officials that he wants to be in the Championship discussion in ROH. In Fort Lauderdale, he takes on fellow Boston native "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards for the Pure Wrestling Championship!
That's not the only news we have in regards to the Pure Wrestling Championship. ROHWrestling.com have learned that the deal has been finalized and a wrestling legend will challenge the Pure Wrestling Champion, whomever that may be, at Final Battle and that legend's name is "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig! Who will advance to arguably the biggest Pure Wrestling Championship match to date?
We'll find out the participants of two of our Final Battle Championship bouts this weekend in Fort Lauderdale!
