Card #13; "Survival of the Fittest II": Chicago, IL:
1.) Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Adam Cole with Mia Yim beat Michael Elgin in 12:04 with the Florida Key. [***] - This was a rematch of the first tournament where Cole fell short to Elgin. Cole was full on heel here, constantly gesturing for everyone within sight to 'suck my d--k!' Elgin beat Cole down early on but Mia Yim provided a distraction so Cole could hit a superkick to the back of the head, followed by the Florida Key, to win.
2.) Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Kyle O'Reilly beat Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob in 6:08 with a Guillotine Choke. [*3/4] - Short match, but O'Reilly wasn't fooling around here. He attacked Bennett before the bell and did not let up. Maria was not happy with Bennett after the match.
3.) Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: El Generico beat Mark Briscoe in 11:48 with the Brainbuster. [***] - Great match to follow up the O'Reilly Bennett match. Mark was in control early on, but two missed dives to the floor put Generico firmly in control for the last few minutes of the match. Mark did counter the Turnbuckle Brainbuster twice before falling to a regular brainbuster.
4.) Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Drake Younger beat Roderick Strong with Truth Martini in 12:32 with Drake's Landing. [****1/4] - The best match of the tournament so far. Younger was hated, obviously because of his ties to CZW, but he put on a hell of a show. Truth Martini would be the cause of Younger advancing when he threw the book in, Younger caught it, leveled Strong with it and hit Drake's Landing to advance.
5.) Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Bryan Danielson beat Jay Lethal in 2:19 with Cattle Mutilation. [NR] - Danielson annihilated Lethal in this match. There's not much more you can say about it.
6.) Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Jay Briscoe beat Rhino in 8:29 with the Jay Driller. [**] - At least one of Dem Boys advances to the finals of the tournament! Rhino wasn't able to really get anything going, and as a result Jay capitalized and took home the win.
[INTERMISSION] Adam Cole is in the back and he says that tonight is the beginning of the end for Davey Richards as ROH World Champion. Cole notes he has one match left to win, and when he does, he has a title shot for any time from tonight through Final Battle. Cole says when he cashes it in, he will become the World Champion. He blows a kiss at the camera and walks away. [INTERMISSION] Kyle O'Reilly says that the ROH fans might not always agree with his motives and his actions but tonight, he's going to fight for them. He's going to make sure that the two CZW representatives don't come close to winning the ROH World Championship opportunity. O'Reilly says he will break Adam Cole's neck before Cole beats him again. [INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness announces that at the next show in Everett, MA, Truth Martini's new hired gun will take on Michael Elgin in a special challenge match.
7.) ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) beat Willie Mack in 13:12 with a shoot kick. [***] - Mack was not able to relive his victory over Richards in NWA: Hollywood, but he put up a far bigger fight than you would expect. He nearly pinned the champion with MDX and the Chocolate Thunder Bomb, but Richards persevered and knocked the challenger unconscious with a shoot kick to win the match.
8.) No Disqualification Match: Kevin Steen beat Masada in 15:58 with a Package Piledriver through chairs. [****] - As wild and brutal as you would expect from a Kevin Steen match. Masada took the fight into the crowd and the two brawled around the building for a lot of this. It resembled one of the old ECW main event matches and got "ECW" chants from the fans. Masada busted Steen open with a chair and pushed him off the top rope through a table late in the match.
9.) Survival of the Fittest Finals: Adam Cole with Mia Yim beat Kyle O'Reilly, El Generico, Drake Younger , Bryan Danielson and Jay Briscoe, last eliminating O'Reilly at 54:59 with the Panama Sunrise. [*****] - The order of elimination was: - Generico via Drake's Landing from Younger at 13:07. - Danielson via Florida Key from Cole at 29:11. - Younger via Jay Driller from Briscoe at 34:59. - Briscoe via Florida Key from Cole at 49:06. - O'Reilly via Panama Sunrise from Cole at 54:59.

The Panama City Playboy Wants the Champ in Everett!:
In Chicago at "Survival of the Fittest II", Adam Cole bested six other wrestlers to win the tournament and a guaranteed ROH World Championship match any time between that night and Final Battle. Cole, many thought, would hold off on cashing his championship shot in but to the shock of many has elected to use the title shot in Everett!
"Why would I wait?", Cole asked ROHWrestling.com. "Davey is not prepared for me now, and he sure as hell won't be prepared for me in Everett. I laid him out back in Vorhees, I hurt his butt buddy Eddie Edwards who nobody's even heard from since then...this is MY time. I will become the ROH World Champion in Everett, Davey."
The champion, however, seems more motivated than ever to shut up the sell professed "Panama City Playboy".
"This new attitude you got, it's cute" Richards posted on his personal blog the day after Survival of the Fittest. "But coming to the ring, shaking your junk, telling everyone in the crowd to suck it...that doesn't fly in Ring of Honor. Adam, I used to think you were a guy who deserved to be here. Hell, I was the one who told ROH to give you a chance. If this is the way you want to go out, you want to represent a bunch of garbage guys who crap on everything you used to represent, then so be it. I'll leave Everett with your head, and my ROH World Championship. The Hunt's on."
Will Adam Cole become the first double champion in ROH history? You can't argue with success, and Cole has been having a lot of that lately...but you can't count out the American Wolf. What will happen when we head to Everett?
Card #14; "Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies": Everett, MA: ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Adam Cole with Mia Yim

TNA Invades in Everett!
ROH is attracting attention from all over the wrestling world it seems, as the Briscoes recently received a challenge from former TNA Tag Team Champions Samoa Joe and Magnus. Dem Boys, being the fighting champions they are, gladly agreed to this interpromotional showdown. The Briscoes are determined to prove that they are as they call themselves, "The Baddest Tag Team on the Planet".
For Magnus and Joe, this is yet another pair of Tag Team Championships to win. They've held the TNA Tag Team Championship and the GHC Tag Team Championship in Japan. According to Magnus, this presents very little challenge to the TNA duo.
"Who are these guys anyways? They're nobodies, we're the best tag team in the world. They'll find that out in Everett."
In addition to this match, ROH officials can now confirm a major six man Anything Goes match between ROH and CZW! S.C.U.M. will do battle with Masada, Danny Havoc and CZW owner DJ Hyde! Also just announced is a major match between Bryan Danielson and "The Notorious 187" Homicide!

Truth Martini has a Surprise for Elgin in Everett! After Elgin failed to prevent Davey Richards from advancing to Final Battle, Michael Elgin was ousted from the House of Truth. Elgin later defeated Rhino at Final Battle and would assault Truth later in the night. Recently, Truth Martini hinted that he had a new hired gun to take out Michael Elgin. As it turns out...they don't get much bigger than this!
Sid Justice. A man feared throughout the wrestling world. Truth Martini has paid this giant to take out Michael Elgin, and Sid intends to to just that in Everett.
Elgin, on the other hand, doesn't see Sid as the threat that some may. Elgin is looking forward to sending yet another one of Martini's assailants back to the House of Truth in pieces.
But if history is any indication, this will be no easy test for Elgin. They don't get any more dangerous than the near seven foot giant from West Memphis, and with Martini in his corner, Sid poses even more of a threat than usual to Elgin.
Can Elgin stop Sid, or will Martini finally break the unbreakable? We'll find out in Everett!
Also just announced for Everett are two special challenge matches. First is Mike Bennett vs. Willie Mack. Can Bennett take down half of one of the hottest tag teams in pro wrestling today? Speaking of tag teams, Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team will take on The Young Bucks. Both teams are looking to challenge the Tag Team Champions, whomever they may be, in the near future!

Two Major ROH vs. CZW Matches Round Out Our Debut in Everett!
The ROH vs. CZW conflict will rage on in Everett as CZW challenges for our World Championship and they will do battle with S.C.U.M, but just today two more matches were signed for what looks to be one of our biggest shows to date!
First, Rhino takes on Sami Callihan in what should be a brutal, hard hitting match. Rhino has guaranteed ROH officials that Callihan will, and we quote, "be left in a pool of his own piss, shit and blood" when "The Man Beast" is done with him!
The other match will see Kyle O'Reilly take on Greg Excellent. O'Reilly sees this match as being similar to his match with Archibald Peck at Unity. O'Reilly sees this as his opportunity to squash out the most light hearted member of the CZW roster.
What will happen in these major matches? We'll find out this weekend in Everett!

1.) Sami Callihan beat Rhino in 9:53 with the Stretch Muffler. [***] 2.) Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob beat Willie Mack in 17:44 with the Photo Finish. [***3/4]
[BACKSTAGE] Adam Cole says that tonight, he will become the first double champion in ROH history by defeating the Jiu Jitsu Jackoff for the ROH World Championship. Cole says this has been his year. He won the Pure Title, he got rid of Eddie Edwards and he's going to keep the momentum going by taking the World Championship here tonight.
3.) Kyle O'Reilly beat Greg Excellent in 2:18 with the Guillotine Choke. [*1/4] 4.) Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson in 15:36 when Benjamin used the Paydirt on Nick Jackson. [***1/2] 5.) Sid Justice with Truth Martini beat Michael Elgin in 8:12 with a Powerbomb after Martini hit Elgin with the Book of Truth. [**]
[INTERMISSION] Joe and Magnus are outside. Joe says that tonight, the Briscoes will find out what it's like to be in the ring with the best tag team in the world. Magnus runs down the list of teams they've defeated, including Jun Akiyama and Akitoshi Saito, and says the Briscoes have never faced anyone of that caliber. Joe says that tonight, Joe is going to kill the Briscoes. [INTERMISSION] Michael Elgin is standing by with Veda Scott. Elgin says that Truth might be celebrating his victory tonight, but Elgin isn't going anywhere. Elgin promises to take out Sid, Roderick and then Truth himself. [INTERMISSION] Mike Bennett questions Nigel McGuinness as to why he hasn't had a title shot to date. Nigel points out that Bennett has had a ton of momentum, but often stalls out just as he gets going. Nigel tells Bennett to win more big matches, and he'll get a title shot. Nigel leaves his office only to be confronted by Kyle O'Reilly, who says he wants a rematch with Adam Cole for the Pure Title. Nigel makes the match for the next show in Toronto, regardless if Cole wins the World Championship tonight or not.
6.) Bryan Danielson beat Homicide in 25:22 with Cattle Mutilation. [****] 7.) ROH World Championship: Davey Richards vs. Adam Cole with Mia Yim went to a 60:00 time limit draw. [***3/4]
After the match, Cole laid Richards out again with a Superkick followed by the Florida Key. The fans chanted "Five more minutes", but Cole flipped off the fans and left with both titles.
[POST SHOW] Sami Callihan laughs at ROH and its fans, saying that ROH can't seem to really win when it counts. Sami calls Davey a paper champion and says that he doesn't deserve to be in the same business as Sami. Callihan challenges ROH to an eight man Anything Goes Match in Toronto. Callihan says he'll bring two of the guys who kicked ROH's ass tonight in Masada and Danny Havoc...and he'll also be bringing Drake Younger. He tells Davey to find himself some damn good backup.

Three Huge Matches Set for Toronto!
As many of you may have seen on our most recent DVD release, two major matches have been announced for when we return to Toronto for our second "Death Before Dishonor" event! We're here today to not only talk about those matches, but to announce a huge third match!
First is Kyle O'Reilly getting a rematch against former tag team partner Adam Cole for the Pure Wrestling Championship.
This match is a rematch from our First Anniversary event, where Cole defeated O'Reilly to win the Pure Championship. Since then, Cole has yet to defend his championship once, but went to an hour time limit draw with O'Reilly's former training partner, Davey Richards. Cole says that he's the most unstoppable man in ROH today, and he's had the resume to back it up as of late, can O'Reilly win back the Pure Championship for ROH? We'll find out in Toronto!
At the end of our last DVD, Sami Callihan said he was rallying the troops of CZW. He named Masada, Danny Havoc and Drake Younger as the three partners he would bring to Toronto for a war. Davey Richards did not have to search far in the ROH locker room for men itching to put this CZW war to an end.
First up are the Briscoes. The foundation of ROH. They, more than anyone, want to see the aptly named 'garbage wrestlers' taken out of ROH. Perhaps most shocking of all, Homicide threw his name into the hat. Homicide has not been on good terms with ROH officials in recent months, as he strongly feels he deserves a championship match. ROH officials have guaranteed Homicide a title match should ROH win in Toronto!
Last but certainly not least, a huge Final Battle rematch has been signed as Chikara patriarch "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush will once again do battle with "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. Who will emerge from this contest the victor?
We're gonna find out the answer to that, and a whole lot more when we get to Toronto for Death Before Dishonor II!
Card #15; "Death Before Dishonor II": Toronto, ONT: Anything Goes Match: Davey Richards, Homicide, Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. Sami Callihan , Masada , Drake Younger and Danny Havoc ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Adam Cole with Mia Yim (ch) vs. Kyle O'Reilly Final Battle Rematch: Bryan Danielson vs. Mike Quackenbush
