The GWF is heading to the Beta Pro Ultimate Sports Centre, in Alpha Taurine for GWF #9: “Day of Reckoning”!!
This will be the lead-in show for the Omega Classic Memorial Cup Tournament (Impossible Tournament). Only a few more shows left in 2127, and here is the line up for this one:
Payback vs. Ultramantis Black vs. Ensor in a GWF Interplanetary Title Top Shot Triple Threat Match, with the winner placed in the Interplanetary Title Match later on the show – The show will be kicking off with a high-speed triple threat match. Payback and Ensor are former tag team partners, and Ensor defeated Ultramantis Black after he had won the Interplanetary Title on GWF #7 in the 3-Way BattleZone Match. This match is sure to be very exciting, and very important for each man for the simple fact that the winner gets placed in the IP Title Match later on the card.
Master Race vs. BD Occultic – Black Death is pairing Bishop Hell and Oracle into a tag team named Occultic. An interesting pairing...but they have their work cut out for them as they will be facing the Master Race. One thing going in Occultic's favor is the fact that the Master Race have not been on the same page with each other lately. Could the Master Race finally turn things around? Or will Occultic rise to the occasion and win their tag team debut match?
Swarm vs. Mantis – It is rumored that friends of Swarm have been advising him to just let Mantis go, that Mantis is too far gone, lost in the rage that is the Black Death. Swarm has sworn, though, that he will never give up on his son.
BD Spellbound vs. Rush & Turmoil – The Gladiators suffered some pretty severe setbacks in the last couple of shows. Rush & Turmoil are looking to turn things around by putting down Spellbound. The question remains, though...can Rush & Turmoil bounce back and recover after their staggering loss to BD Revolution on GWF #8? As far as Spellbound is concerned, their march to the tag team titles begins anew, here, on GWF #9.
? ? ? (winner of earlier Triple Threat Match) vs. Tricks vs. Paralyze (ch) for the GWF Interplanetary Title – While the other Gladiators have not done so well lately, Paralyze has done exceptionally well, capping off the last few cards with winning the GWF Interplanetary Title. What makes this match interesting, though, is that the 3rd participant is a wild card and undetermined. Could it be Payback? Ensor? Or maybe even Ultramantis Black?
BD Revolution vs. The Ultimate Fighters (ch) for the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Titles – Revolution feels that they have finally started to get the respect that they have deserved for so long. Finally getting their first match vs. the Gladiators (Rush & Turmoil @ GWF #8), and not only holding their own, but soundly defeating the Aethrans, Revolution is on a roll. But standing in their way to the tag belts is the current tag team champions, TUF. The Ultimate Fighters are considered by many to be one of the toughest tag teams in the history of the GWF. This one could get nasty...
Endgame vs. Aethran Overmaster – These two have not done so well in 2127. Both men are looking to turn things around. This is a big match between two of the top stars in the GWF.
Harbinger vs. Monolith (ch) for the GWF Galaxian Title – Harbinger could walk out of Day of Reckoning as the GWF Champion. He could even leave 2127 as the GWF Champion. Monolith doesn't care what Harbinger thinks he can do. Monolith knows what Monolith “will do”.

This looks like it will be a great show..I think Ensor will win the opener...Master Race should dominate...Swarm over Mantis...BD Spellbound to win...Paralyze to retain (though Tricks may surprise)...TUF to retain...Endgame over AOM and Harbinger over Monolith in the upset...
Looking forward to this one.

GWF #9: “Day of Reckoning” @ Beta Pro Ultimate Sports Centre, Alpha Taurine
*The fans are hot and ready for the show, as Ultramantis Black, Payback and Ensor are already in the ring and ready for the match!!
GWF Interplanetary Title Top Shot, Triple Threat Match (winner in the Interplanetary Title Match later on the card) Payback vs. Ensor vs. Ultramantis Black
>Ensor scores the win after breaking up a Payback pin (after the EXVENGE +4 on Ultramantis Black), pinning Payback with the ERUPTION OF THARSIS
(ENSOR EARNS HIS SPOT IN THE TRICKS – PARALYZE GWF INTERPLANTARY TITLE MATCH LATER ON THE CARD)
BD Occultic vs. The Master Race
>The Master Race spoil the tag team debut of BD Occultic, when Thraxx pinned Bishop Hell with a Thraxx Attack
*After the match, Bishop Hell and Oracle began arguing about who lost the match, as Thraxx and Zygon looked on...Out of nowhere, though, BD Spellbound rushed the ring and launched an attack on the Master Race!! Thraxx was double-teamed after Zygon was tossed to the floor. Occultic then joined in on the attack, smashing Zygon head-first into the steel post on the outside of the ring!! Balaal locked the BITE OF THE SERPENT on Thraxx, and kept the bite tight for several moments, while officials tried to break it up...Finally, after several moments, Balaal releases the hold, and slithers away, as the Black Death watches, and the officials crowd around him to help him...Thraxx begins to stand up, appearing very groggy...when Balaal launches himself over the officials and latches on again with the BITE OF THE SERPENT!! Thraxx immediately hits the floor, as Balaal curls his serpent's tail around the body of Thraxx, keeping the hold locked on...until once again (and many more officials) rush the ring to break it up, forcing the Black Death team to leave the ring...but Thraxx was left unconscious...leaving many to wonder if Thraxx would be subjected to the BITE'S power and turn to the Black Death...
Swarm vs. Mantis
>Mantis takes Swarm down, nailing him with the PREY SNARE out of nowhere when Swarm attempted a super kick
*After the match, Mantis stood over his recovering father, gloating, before planting Swarm once more with the PREY SNARE!! Mantis then glared out a the crowd, then left the ring...
BD Spellbound vs. Rush & Turmoil
>Rush & Turmoil win a “must-win” match, defeating Spellbound after Rush nailed Balaal with THE TEMPEST
*Before the bell could even be rang to signal the end of the match, Zygon stormed the ring, attacking Balaal!! Coven Black jumped on Zygon to pull him off, but Zygon seemed to be a man possessed, tossing Black high over the top rope and crashing to the floor!! Zygon then launched at a recovering Balaal once again, locking on the TRI-CLAW, actually drawing blood from the serpent's head!! An army of officials quickly rushed to the ring to separate the two...thought it took near 10 to pull Zygon off of Balaal!! As Zygon shouted threats and obscenities at Balaal, Balaal simply sat in the corner, his forked tongue licking his head where he was wounded from the TRI-CLAW, grinning a very devious grin...
*The GameMasters made their way out to the announce table to provide special commentary for the Triple Threat Interplanetary Title Match, saying that nobody could give the proper words about the Legendary Martian Manhandler, Ensor....
GWF Interplanetary Title Triple Threat Match Ensor vs. Tricks vs. Paralyze (ch)
>Tricks wins the title by pinning Ensor after the COULROPHOBIA
(TRICKS WINS THE GWF INTERPLANETARY TITLE)
GWF Galaxian Tag Team Titles BD Revolution vs. The Ultimate Fighters (ch)
>Revolution score the win after Alpha Female forced Shoot to submit to DIRE STRAPH
(BD REVOLUTION WIN THE GWF GALAXIAN TAG TEAM TITLES)
(Winner placed first match vs. GWF Champion @ Omega Classic Memorial Tournament) Aethran Overmaster vs. Endgame
>Endgame puts away the Aethran Overmaster with the ROLLING FIGURE FOUR
(ENDGAME EARNS FIRST MATCH VS. GWF CHAMPION @ OMEGA CLASSIC MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT)
GWF Galaxian Title Harbinger vs. Monolith (ch)
>Harbinger defeats Monolith with a Vanguard Vise after Bishop Hell interfered and blasted Monolith with the HELLFIRE to win the GWF Galaxian Championship
(HARBINGER WINS THE GWF GALAXIAN TITLE)
*The show goes off the air with the crowd in stunned silence, the announcers in stunned silence, the galaxy in a stunned silence...save for the celebration coming from the Black Death team, as they crowd into the ring to boast about taking two thirds of the GWF Titles Title, including the GWF Galaxian Championship...

Another great card; I got most of my predictions right - *self high-five*
Great scene with Balaal smiling after the attack; great lead in for what is to come with Zygon.
I am glad that Tricks won the IP belt; I said he might surprise - he always comes up big in important matches for some reason.
Mantis with a big win; Mantis beat End of Days for me twice - one time was with PREY SNARE. The only thing equally monumental was when Nitro beat Iron Hand 2 out of 3 falls match.
Nice job man!

thanks... Some shows are harder for me to run than others. This one was a tough one, for some reason... Believe it or not; I'm having the same problem with my current show. Something in the universe must be out of alignment.

GWF #10: Omega Memorial Classic (OMC) Tournament (Day #1/3) @ Omega Memorial Coliseum, Cetus
*The show starts up with the camera panning across the stage, off the side of the ring area, and especially what is on the stage...the Omega Memorial Cup. Across the GalactiTron plays segments of Omega's great matches throughout the history of the GWF, beginning with his historical win of The Tournament 2074, becoming the first ever GWF Galaxian Champion...clips from several more of his matches are played, as Commissioner Euritar makes his way to the ring, flanked by one of the all-time GWF greats, Star Warrior, his brother, Alpha Force, sister SuperNova, along with Star Warrior's son, Bloodline. The 5 of them stand up on the stage, as Euritar takes his place at the podium...
Euritar: Tonight, and for the next 2 nights after, we will give honor to the first, and truest, GWF Hero, the patriarch of not only his family, but the patriarch of the GWF itself. Omega was a champion, he had the heart of a champion. Even when he was not THE champion, he still fought as though he was defending that GWF Galaxian Title. Over the years, he overcame challenges, standing up to tyranny, and defending what is held to be honor and good, giving a self-sacrifice that few are able to attain. It is with his historical understanding, this legendary placement and holding in this great federation and sport of ours, that I have asked ---
At that, the lights go dim, as a symbol of a skull appears over the ring area and the stage that Euritar and Omega's family are standing on...slowly the skull begins to fall, the symbol that the GWF has grown to know all too much. The skull dissipates, and the lights come back on, but they are a sickly bluish green color...as Harbinger appears, along with the entire Black Death team...
Harbinger: Listen to this drivel...Omega is dead, and he is the fortunate one, because he does not need to see what his precious GWF will become...a graveyard of dead bones and lifeless flesh...I am the GWF Galaxian Champion, and I will continue to dominate this dying, pathetic federation...and tonight I will continue to show that I am unstoppable, that the Black Death is unstoppable!! But for now...we have to deal with the old and hasbeens that dare to tread where angels fear...
At that, the entire Black Death group rushes to the stage, launching an attack on the “First Family” of the GWF!! Star Warrior, Alpha Force and Bloodline attempt to fend them off, but they are simply overpowered!! The Black Death practically destroy the stage area, decimating Star Warrior and his family...until out charges the FDF!!! Endgame, HelSin, Tauran and PSI...along with Swarm, Payback, Overtime, Panther Warrior, Malkuth, Tristan...and...MONOLITH!!! The Black Death is sent scrambling to the back anyway they can...through the crowd, side doors, or up the entrance ramp...The fans are cheering as the chants of “O-ME-GA!!” echo off the wall of the arena, shaking the building to the core!! Star Warrior, Alpha Force, SuperNova, and Bloodline are all helped to their feet, and the four of them raise their hands as the fans go wild!! Euritar holds up the Memorial Cup, then says that after the OMEGA Bracket is held on the final day, the Omega family will present the cup to the winner...

Another great piece of storytelling.
It was great to see Omega's family. And I was chanting Omega's name along with the fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot of drama in the opening bracket with the title changing hands a couple times. Monolith should be a force to reckon with in the Omega bracket.
