I know people are going to consider these guys "lesser" than the guys you would see in the regular Legends set. But is anyone going to incorporate both feds together or will you make it like a GWFZ fed? Maybe its' me but wrestlers in a Legends fed are supposed to have been ..um legends in some way ? If I do get the Future "Legends" set I would not use them in my main LWF fed and restart a indy legend fed that I had.

I definitely understand your point, but in today's wrestling's climate, there are only so many places (WWE) where a guy can become a "legend". 20+ years ago, there were tons of opportunities for guys to make their mark on the wrestling scene. Wish it wasn't like that, but....

Plan to use the guys to add depth to my NWA regions. I am really looking forward to the set.

Quackenbush is a Legend in the Indies, whether that means anything to mainstream fans or not.

sure, I usually like to build my real life promotions with two or three main eventers and a bunch of scrubs... makes my main eventers look more dominant...

I am hoping some of these guys will make Ox Baker a killer once this set comes out. My goal is to get Ox Baker to be the menacing heel he should be in my fed(s). These guys just might do it.

I'm still weighing this set out, the replies so far sound mixed and reflect a lot of my own doubts. I really don't need these guys since I use a lot of bootlegs so my Fed is always well filled out and I can rotate a lot legendary talent in and out.
Quite frankly, with all of the potential additions of truly legendary wrestlers out there, I'm puzzled about the need to bring out a set like this.

I am really excited about this set. I like the chance to get to know some of these guys that don't get a lot of exposure (right now at least). It gives me a platform to start following the Indie scene more closer. Kudus to those involved.
As to how I will (or not) integrate them...I have to see the cards first. I certainly don't like the idea of one of these guys consistantly defeating ( or dominating) over the truely classic names of the past. However, I would integrate them with pleasure if they were at the opener.lower card level.

The truly "Legendary" stars must agree to be in the game. That's a problem...not everyone will agree to be part of the game. And while the "E" may be the only big game in town, don't let that logic fool you. Just because they aren't in the "E" doesn't mean they aren't talented. Plus, is it bad to broaden a fan base? You can get some indy fans from today and they can get introduced to other games from COTG

Here's a question.
We know Tom has released at least one "alernate version" of a guy he alredy signed (Ted Dibiase). If he signs these guys to Legends contracts, and one of them gets called up to the WWF (I refuse to say 'E') and becomes a major star--or even a decent mid-level star--can Tom re-issue the card because his Legends contract predates the WWE contract?
Or is a Legends contract for a one-shot deal only?
If it's the former, then not only does this set make a LOT of sense (how many ROH guys have found themselves in TNA or the WWF's developmental areas lately), I think more indy stars should be sought out and signed.
Hopefully our friends in the Heartbreak Express will be true ambassadors to the game, and pass along what a cool thing it is to be involved.
