iW! (Independent Wrestling) is the brainchild of a mysterious wrestling personality simply known as Pinkscare. Who is Pinkscare? Well, he is a wacky individual who sports a pink luchador mask that flows with beautiful brown hair. Also, he is always wearing a throwback suit and tie that one could only find at a thrift store. However, fans rarely see him poke his pink head out. He normally lets 2 Cold Scorpio handle most of the duties.
iW! runs one show a month at various independent wrestling venues around the United States. Each show is then turned into two DVD volumes that are sold by Smart Mark Video. There will be no other form of show, fans; iW! does not have the financial backing to do so.
What makes iW! slightly like Chikara is that male and female wrestlers compete against each another. Pinkscare, said to be good friends with Mike Quackenbush, feels female wrestlers are to be given the same rights as males in this business. Furthermore, it looks to be a good philosophy because iW! has huge female following.
Lastly, iW! will start out without crowning any champions. Pinkscare has stated that titles are to be introduced later in the year, but no other details have been given. Pinkscare told IndyWrestling.com that he wants fans to get a good grasp of the promotion before champions are the main focus.

iW! Vol. 1 The Palmer Center Easton, PA
1. Juan Francisco de Coronado submitted Sara Del Rey with the Coronado Clutch *1
2. Natural Selection defeated Regeneration X when Ricker pinned Danger following the Gravy Train *2
3. Ice Cream, Jr. pinned Mia Yim following a Bicycle Kick
4. Nicole Matthews pinned Pretty Peter Avalon following the Vancouver Maneuver *3
5. Icarus & Green Ant defeated F.I.S.T. when Icarus pinned Gargano following a Pedigree *4
*1 Juan Francisco de Coronado was the first one out. But after becoming impatient with de Coronado's long entrance, Death Rey broke up the introduction and tossed her opponent into the ring. The fans were already chanting that Sara was going to kill de Coronado. In return, de Coronado refused to get back into the ring. That is until SDR physically placed him there again.
Surprisingly, de Coronado did an amazing job wrestling the Queen of the Ring. However, it was obvious toward the end that SDR was frustrated; she could not believe that de Coronado had kicked out of the Royal Butterfly three times. Being agile and quick was de Coronado's key to success, and he showed great determination to keep at his ground game.
In the end, though she got to the ropes on multiple occasions, Sara eventually tapped in the center of the ring.
After the match, de Coronado taunted SDR. Big mistake for de Coronado. Death Rey nearly kicked his head off. SDR then tossed de Coronado over her shoulder and took him to the back.
*2 Before the match started, Percy Pringle III told Allison Danger and Leva Bates that they still had the chance to forfeit the match and save themselves the shame of being destroyed on Vol. 1. Regeneration X laughed it off and pushed Pringle into the mat. Cage and Ricker blindsided Bates and Danger following Pringle's rage.
Regeneration X dominated Cage throughout the whole match, seldom allowing him to tag in Ricker. At one point, Pringle tried to hit Bates but struck Cage instead. Cage kicked out but could not get anything going.
In the end, Ricker took control and dropped Danger with the Gravy Train. As soon as he went for the cover, Pringle pulled Bates to the floor. Cage stood defensively and would not allow Bates to make the pin save.
*3 After the match, Nicole Matthews called out her tag team partner. Once Portia Perez joined her, the Canadian NINJAs challenged the Osirian Portal. Hearing the challenge, 2 Cold Scorpio came down and called out Amasis and Ophidian. The Osirian Portal danced to the ring and accepted the challenge. After Matthews and Perez left, 2 Cold Scorpio danced with the funky tag team.
*4 This has long story. Icarus left F.I.S.T. once he departed from Chikara. Sadly, F.I.S.T. followed and are after his career. Icarus, knowing he would be outnumbered, asked Green Ant to watch his back. Green Ant, seeing Icarus' desire to do the right thing, stated he would be at his side from day one.
Taylor and Gargano started out pounding away at Icarus; however, Green Ant came in for the save and shook things up. Icarus finally got into the swing of things and put Gargano down with a Pedigree. The fans were on their feet cheering for a changed Icarus.
Then he snapped.
Icarus attacked Taylor and hit him with the Pedigree outside the ring. He then nailed Gargano with the Blu-Ray four times. Bryce Remsburg and Green Ant tried to stop Icarus. However, the Winged Ring Warrior would not stop.
Finally, once Icarus looked to be done, 2 Cold Scorpio came down to the ring to check Gargano's condition. Scorpio suspended Icarus for four shows. Gargano was obviously injured as well and would need time away from the ring. Green Ant was left standing in the ring; he looked confused and frustrated.
At the end of the show, Icarus came back down to the ring and apologized to the fans, Green Ant, and iW!; he said he was ashamed of his actions. The crowd still cheered him; however, he dropped his head and left the ring.

I'm going to do my best at not being sexist (I do love women's wrestling). Seeing a couple of women smack around that ape Brian Cage is hilarious! Love it. Nicole Matthews could probably actually beat Peter Avalon. Hopefully I didn't offend anyone...except Cage fans.

I figured it would be fun to use the CHIKARA approach to gender. Sure, some stats are best for their designated set. However, anyone can win/lose playing this game on any given day. Besides, having more women wrestle amongst the men is better than just having one or two.

I agree. It is an interesting concept. And since the Shimmer set, you have a lot of good talent to work with.

Thanks! I have a LOT of cards I had run and hand wrote out but now have to type them all out. And, of course, with the early shows I didn't keep as tight of details from the matches. I have had to fill in the blanks quite a bit. I want to get to a point where I can roll matches more regularly and be able to get it updated on my webpage pretty quickly.

I like the looks of iW! and I'll be reading your results for sure...

I really liked this match and it's great seeing SDR winning. I use her in my FMX OPEN FiGHT NiGHT! branch of my FMX FEEL THE iMPACT! and she went 1-1 versus CotG's Shayne. Anyway, I look forward to more from your fed...
